The effects of number of bottom gas supply component and bottom-blown gas intensity on mixing time of molten pool are studied through the water model test of bottom blowing system for 150 t converter in Steel-making Plant. The mixing time of 6 bottom gas supply components is the shortest with the same bottom-blown gas intensity; the higher the bottom-blown gas intensity, the shorter the mixing time with the same number of bottom gas supply component. The mode of bottom-blown gas supply in the processes of smelting different steel grades with 150 t converter is optimized combining with the results of water model test. As a result, the dephosphorization rate at smelting end-point could reach 92.3% and total iron content of slags at end-point of whole campaign could reach 17.3%, which could provide the technical guidance for improving the economic and technical norms of production.

通过对炼钢厂150 t转炉底吹系统进行水模试验,研究了底部供气元件数量、底吹供气强度对熔池混匀时间的影响。在相同底吹供气强度情况下,6支底吹供气元件混匀时间最短;在相同底吹供气元件数情况下,底吹供气强度越高,混匀时间越短。结合水模试验结论,对150 t转炉不同钢种冶炼过程中底吹供气模式进行优化,冶炼终点脱磷率达到92.3%,全炉役终点炉渣全铁含量达到17.3%,为改善生产经济技术指标提供了技术指导。

通过对炼钢厂150 t转炉底吹系统进行水模试验,研究了底部供气元件数量、底吹供气强度对熔池混匀时间的影响。在相同底吹供气强度情况下,6支底吹供气元件混匀时间最短;在相同底吹供气元件数情况下,底吹供气强度越高,混匀时间越短。结合水模试验结论,对150 t转炉不同钢种冶炼过程中底吹供气模式进行优化,冶炼终点脱磷率达到92.3%,全炉役终点炉渣全铁含量达到17.3%,为改善生产经济技术指标提供了技术指导。

The effects of number of bottom gas supply component and bottom-blown gas intensity on mixing time of molten pool are studied through the water model test of bottom blowing system for 150 t converter in Steel-making Plant. The mixing time of 6 bottom gas supply components is the shortest with the same bottom-blown gas intensity; the higher the bottom-blown gas intensity, the shorter the mixing time with the same number of bottom gas supply component. The mode of bottom-blown gas supply in the processes of smelting different steel grades with 150 t converter is optimized combining with the results of water model test. As a result, the dephosphorization rate at smelting end-point could reach 92.3% and total iron content of slags at end-point of whole campaign could reach 17.3%, which could provide the technical guidance for improving the economic and technical norms of production.

转炉炼钢过程由于冶金现象比较复杂,金属熔池中的脱磷、脱硫、脱碳、炉渣碱度、渣中氧化铁含量、熔池温度以及金属液成分等许多工艺参数都会影响冶金过程,而这一复杂的冶金过程很难用数学模型表达清楚,采用水模试验研究冶金反应过程是一种有效的方法。目前包钢各炼钢体系转炉底吹系统随着炉龄的大幅度提高,复吹率大幅度降低,底部供气元件的一次性使用寿命仅有1 000~3 500炉,远远低于转炉炉龄。因此,如何解决转炉底吹单元供气元件的侵蚀,缓解底吹供气元件堵塞,提高转炉复吹率,成为技术攻关的重点。
炼钢厂150 t顶底复吹转炉平均装入量155 t,顶枪为5孔拉瓦尔喷头,底吹采用8支底吹元件设计,围绕炉底中心0.38D位置平均布局,底吹供气强度为0.01~0.12 m3/min。水力学模型装置如图1所示,底吹供气元件为集束管式透气砖,砖内布置38根Φ4 mm×1 mm钢管。底吹供气元件布置如图2所示。
试验采用相似原理对顶底复吹转炉进行模拟研究,通过“刺激-响应”技术来测定熔池混匀时间。试验以饱和NaCl溶液为示踪剂,测试在相同底吹强度下不同底吹透气元件数量和在相同数量底吹透气元件下不同底吹强度对熔池混匀时间的影响,分析底吹供气元件数量与底吹强度对熔池混匀时间的影响。因钢液质量较大,转炉水模型试验在保证几何相似的同时保证试验模型与原型的动力学相似,主要考虑流体的惯性力和重力,因此,为保证试验模型与原型的动力学相似,应确保两者的修正弗洛德准数相等[1]。此时:

式中:Q为模型的气体流量,m3/h;Q为原型的气体流量,m3/h;ρ模气为模型的气体密度,kg/m3;ρ原气为原型的气体密度,kg/m3;ρ模液为模型的液体密度,kg/m3;ρ原液为原型的液体密度,kg/m3;d为模型底吹孔直径,cm;d为原型底吹孔直径,cm;H为模型熔池深度,mm;H为原型熔池深度,mm。
模型按1∶5比例制作。ρ模液为实验室所用液体水的密度,ρ模液=1.0×103 kg/m3;ρ原液为原型的钢液密度,即1 600 ℃钢水密度,ρ原液=7.0×103 kg/m3;ρ模气为实验室空气密度,ρ模气=1.2 kg/m3;ρ原气为原型底吹介质气体密度,即氮气密度,ρ原气=1.25 kg/m3。将以上参数带入计算公式内计算弗洛德准数为0.002 98。依照实物水模比例计算水模型供气流量如表1所示。
方案一采用相同底吹元件数,对5组共20次不同底吹强度试验数据进行了计算分析。每支传感器的相对混匀时间与熔池整体混匀时间不同。每支传感器混匀时间均不受示踪剂加入量、浓度、加入位置、传感器位置影响。对试验采集的数据进行计算,测得熔池混匀时间与底吹供气强度对应关系如图3所示。
方案一随底吹供气强度增加,熔池混匀时间下降。底吹供气强度提高对加强熔池内动力学条件有明显促进作用。从图3分析,当底吹供气强度达到一定时,随供气强度持续增加,混匀时间减少,斜率变缓,证明底吹供气有最佳供气强度范围,持续增加底吹供气强度对熔池动力学条件改善作用减弱,并增加底吹介质消耗。
方案二采用相同底吹供气强度,不同底吹供气元件数量方式进行试验。分别对4支、6支、8支底吹供气元件混匀时间进行测试。对试验采集的数据进行计算,测得熔池混匀时间与底吹供气强度对应关系如表2所示。

方案二随底吹供气元件数量增加,熔池混匀时间下降。底吹供气元件数量提高对加强熔池内动力学条件有明显促进作用。6支底吹供气元件仅在0.11 L/min供气强度下混匀时间大于8支,在0.20 L/min、0.25 L/min、0.30 L/min、0.40 L/min供气强度条件下,混匀时间均优于4支、8支底吹供气元件混匀时间。在相同供气强度情况下,底吹供气元件数量多,各底吹供气支路搅拌形成相对独立流场,形成流场数量太多,反而使得各底吹流场相互形成干涉,影响混匀时间;底吹供气元件数量少,形成的底吹流场无法最大范围覆盖熔池面积,不能对整个熔池进行充分搅拌从而形成动力学较弱区域甚至死区,影响混匀时间。
根据水模试验理论基础,结合炼钢厂特点对冶炼过程底吹模式进行了优化。针对转炉冶炼前期、中期、后期、末期以及拉碳后搅几个冶炼过程,增强熔池搅拌动力学条件,制定底吹供气强度优化方案。
在转炉冶炼前期,优化方案以提高转炉底吹供气强度为主。吹炼前期,随炉渣熔化,热力学条件达到脱磷理论条件,此时,增强底吹供气强度,增强顶底复吹对熔池的搅拌,提高渣-钢液界面反应效率,在冶炼前期低温脱磷反应窗口时间内改善熔池动力学条件,提高脱磷反应速率,提高前期脱磷率。
冶炼中期底吹供气强度优化。方案降低转炉底吹供气强度,根据熔池内热力学反应,冶炼过程低温脱磷反应过程结束后,进入碳大量氧化期,此时熔池内热力学反应主要为铁水碳与氧气反应以及炉渣全铁与CO反应。降低底吹供气强度以减缓炉渣含铁消耗速度,保证炉渣化渣效果,防止发生“返干”现象。
在熔池反应后期,熔池内温度升高,碳含量降低,熔池内自由氧含量升高。此时因碳氧反应减弱,熔池动力学条件恶化。通过提高底吹供气强度,改善熔池内动力学条件对均匀钢水成分、温度、降低钢中氧含量有积极作用。各钢种底吹供气强度优化情况如表3所示。
通过优化顶底复吹控制模式,优化动力学条件,实现高效脱磷。炉役期不同阶段的平均脱磷率范围达到86.5%~98.5%,平均脱磷率达到92.3%;采用高底吹供气强度进行搅拌,促使渣中全铁含量尽快降低,实现了降低终渣全铁含量目标,全炉役平均全铁含量达到17.3%。
(1)方案一熔池混匀时间下降。底吹供气强度提高对加强熔池内动力学条件有明显促进作用。当底吹供气强度达到一定时,随供气强度持续增加,混匀时间减少,斜率变缓,证明底吹供气有最佳供气强度范围,持续增加底吹供气强度对熔池动力学条件改善作用减弱,并增加底吹介质消耗。
(2)方案二随底吹供气元件数量增加,熔池混匀时间下降。底吹供气元件数增加对加强熔池内动力学条件有明显促进作用。对比4支、6支、8支底吹供气元件,6支底吹供气元件仅在0.11 L/min供气强度下混匀时间大于8支,在0.20 L/min、0.25 L/min、0.30 L/min、0.40 L/min供气强度条件下,混匀时间均优于4支、8支底吹供气元件混匀时间。
(3)在低底吹供气强度下,供气元件越多,越有利于改善熔池动力学条件,可有效减少熔池混匀时间。
(5)在相同供气强度情况下,底吹供气元件数量多,各底吹供气支路搅拌形成相对独立流场,形成流场数量越多,反而使得各底吹流场相互形成干涉,影响混匀时间;底吹供气元件数量少,形成的底吹流场无法最大范围覆盖熔池面积,不能对整个熔池进行充分搅拌从而形成动力学较弱区域甚至死区,影响混匀时间。
