In this paper, the dissolution methods of iron ore and slags are studied. The decomposition method of preliminarily dissolving with hydrochloric acid followed by treating the residue with mixed flux of sodium carbonate-boric acid is applied. The analytical spectral lines with high sensitivity and fewer interferences are determined as analytical spectral lines through optimizing and selecting the analytical spectral lines of lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium and samarium by experiments. Moreover, the contents of such five elements as lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium and samarium are determined simultaneously with ICP-AES. The results showed that the lower detection limit of lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium and samarium in iron ore and slags was 0.005 0%, the upper detection limits of rare earth elements in iron ore were 5% for La, 10% for Ce, 1% for Pr, 2% for Nd and 1% for Sm as well as all the upper detection limits of rare earth elements in slags were 0.500%.

文章研究了铁矿石、炉渣的溶解方法,采用盐酸初步溶解再用碳酸钠-硼酸混合熔剂处理残渣的分解方法,通过试验对镧、铈、镨、钕、钐元素的分析谱线进行优化选择,确定了灵敏度高、干扰少的分析谱线作为分析谱线,采用等离子体发射光谱法同时测定镧、铈、镨、钕、钐五元素含量。结果表明,铁矿石、炉渣中镧、铈、镨、钕、钐元素的检出下限均为0.005 0%,铁矿石中各稀土元素测定上限:La测定上限为5%,Ce测定上限为10%,Pr测定上限为1%,Nd测定上限为2%,Sm测定上限为1%;炉渣中各稀土元素测定上限均为0.500%。

文章研究了铁矿石、炉渣的溶解方法,采用盐酸初步溶解再用碳酸钠-硼酸混合熔剂处理残渣的分解方法,通过试验对镧、铈、镨、钕、钐元素的分析谱线进行优化选择,确定了灵敏度高、干扰少的分析谱线作为分析谱线,采用等离子体发射光谱法同时测定镧、铈、镨、钕、钐五元素含量。结果表明,铁矿石、炉渣中镧、铈、镨、钕、钐元素的检出下限均为0.005 0%,铁矿石中各稀土元素测定上限:La测定上限为5%,Ce测定上限为10%,Pr测定上限为1%,Nd测定上限为2%,Sm测定上限为1%;炉渣中各稀土元素测定上限均为0.500%。

In this paper, the dissolution methods of iron ore and slags are studied. The decomposition method of preliminarily dissolving with hydrochloric acid followed by treating the residue with mixed flux of sodium carbonate-boric acid is applied. The analytical spectral lines with high sensitivity and fewer interferences are determined as analytical spectral lines through optimizing and selecting the analytical spectral lines of lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium and samarium by experiments. Moreover, the contents of such five elements as lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium and samarium are determined simultaneously with ICP-AES. The results showed that the lower detection limit of lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium and samarium in iron ore and slags was 0.005 0%, the upper detection limits of rare earth elements in iron ore were 5% for La, 10% for Ce, 1% for Pr, 2% for Nd and 1% for Sm as well as all the upper detection limits of rare earth elements in slags were 0.500%.

稀土是包头白云鄂博铁矿的特色资源,包钢充分利用稀土资源,开发稀土钢产品,打造稀土钢品牌,在进行稀土钢的生产工艺研究以及稀土对钢铁性能改善研究时,稀土元素的检测分析显得尤为重要[1]。经查阅标准文献资料,传统的分析方法对铁矿石、炉渣中低含量稀土的分析方法为分光光度法,如偶氮胂Ⅲ光度法、DBC-偶氮胂光度法,这些方法检测分析的是稀土总量[2]。光度法的最大特点是需要消除干扰元素而且流程较长,所用分析试剂较多,比较繁琐。近几年来随着包钢稀土钢品牌战略的实施,对铁矿石、炉渣中稀土的检测不再只要求总量而是提出新的要求,即分析检测各单一稀土元素的含量。本文建立等离子体光谱仪测定铁矿石及炉渣中低含量镧、铈、镨、钕、钐五元素检测方法,实现铁矿石及炉渣中低含量镧、铈、镨、钕、钐的快速检测,为科研提供准确的数据,指导新产品的开发。
美国PE公司生产的ICP-AES、OPTIMA 5300DV双向观测型全谱直读等离子光谱仪。
混合熔剂(2份无水碳酸钠+1份硼酸)、氢氟酸、高氯酸、盐酸、盐酸(1+1)、盐酸(5+95)均为优级纯试剂。
氧化镧、二氧化铈、氧化镨、氧化钕、氧化钐均为光谱纯。
氧化镧标准溶液:1 000 μg/mL。准确称取1.000 0 g三氧化二镧,加50 mL盐酸(1+1),加热溶解后,以水稀释至1 000 mL,摇匀。
二氧化铈标准溶液:1 000 μg/mL。取二氧化铈于750 ℃灼烧30 min后置于干燥器中,冷却至室温。称取1.000 0 g二氧化铈,置于烧杯中,加入15 mL硝酸、2 mL过氧化氢,加热溶解,煮沸分解过量的过氧化氢,冷至室温,移入1 000 mL容量瓶中,用水稀释至刻度,摇匀。
氧化镨标准溶液:1 000 μg/mL。准确称取1.000 0 g氧化镨,加50 mL盐酸(1+1),加热溶解后,以水稀释至1 000 mL,摇匀。
氧化钕标准溶液:1 000 μg/mL。准确称取1.000 0 g三氧化二钕,加50 mL盐酸(1+1),加热溶解后,以水稀释至1 000 mL,摇匀。
氧化钐标准溶液:1 000 μg/mL。准确称取1.000 0 g三氧化二钐,加50 mL盐酸(1+1),加热溶解后,以水稀释至1 000 mL,摇匀。
La2O3、CeO2、Pr6O11、Nd2O3、Sm2O3混合标准溶液:浓度为100 μg/mL、10 μg/mL,通过1 000 μg/mL La2O3、CeO2、Pr6O11、Nd2O3、Sm2O3标准溶液逐级稀释配制。
方法一:酸溶法。称取0.100 0 g铁矿石或炉渣试样2份置于250 mL聚四氟乙烯烧杯中,加5 mL氢氟酸、10 mL盐酸,电热板低温加热使试样分解后,加2 mL高氯酸,继续加热,使高氯酸发烟至剩余体积1 mL以下,稍冷。加10 mL盐酸(1+1)加热使盐类溶解,取下自然冷至室温后,转入100 mL容量瓶中,用纯水稀释到刻度、摇匀。随同试样做试剂空白。将上述方法制得的试液在优化的仪器工作参数下测定镧、铈、镨、钕、钐元素含量。
如试样中有机物较高时,应将试样置于瓷坩埚中于600~800 ℃灼烧10~15 min,待冷却后再移入烧杯中按方法一操作。
方法二:碱熔法。称取0.100 0 g铁矿石或炉渣试样2份于250 mL烧杯中,加入10 mL沸水,在不断搅拌下缓缓加入10 mL盐酸(1+1),低温溶解试样(微沸),取下,用快速滤纸过滤于300 mL烧杯中,用擦棒擦烧杯内壁,以热水洗入滤纸中,继续以热水洗烧杯3~4次,滤纸上残渣用盐酸(5+95)洗至无黄色,用热水洗2~3次,保留滤液。将残渣连同滤纸移入铂金坩埚中,经烘干、低温灰化,加入1.0 g混合熔剂于900~950 ℃的马弗炉中熔融15~20 min取出冷却。将铂金坩埚放于原300 mL烧杯滤液中,加热浸取熔块,取出铂金坩埚,水洗干净,溶液自然冷至室温后,转入100 mL容量瓶中,用水稀释至刻度摇匀。随同试样做试剂空白。将上述方法制得的试液在优化的仪器工作参数下测定镧、铈、镨、钕、钐元素含量。

ICP-AES法工作参数的选择对分析元素的测定有明显的影响,通过对激发功率、载气流量、观测方式进行试验,选择1 300 W作为仪器的激发功率,0.80 L/min作为载气流量,选择轴向观测。
通过改变激发功率对浓度为10 μg/mL 5种被测元素进行测定,见表1,得到激发功率对被测元素强度的影响。各测定元素的强度随激发功率增加而增大,所以选择1 300 W做为仪器的激发功率。
通过改变载气流量对浓度为10 μg/mL 5种被测元素进行测定,见表2。可以得知载气流量对被测元素强度的影响,元素的测定强度先随载气流量增加而增大,当达到载气流量0.76~0.84 L/min时强度最大,然后随载气流量增加而降低,因此仪器载气流量选择0.80 L/min。
通过改变观测方式对浓度为10 μg/mL 5种被测元素进行测定,见表3,得出观测方式对被测元素强度的影响。本文主要研究铁矿石及炉渣低含量镧、铈、镨、钕、钐,轴向观测方式的测定强度是径向观测方式的6~10倍,因此选择轴向观测。
将矿、渣试样按1.3方法一、方法二进行试样分解比对试验,试验数据见表4。由于现有的矿、渣标样的标值为稀土总量,测定矿、渣试样稀土总量来进行比对,测定的数值与标准值稀土总量都比较吻合,各稀土元素测定值也相应吻合。考虑到1.3方法一中使用氢氟酸、高氯酸等试剂会对环境或皮肤有可能造成不良影响,故本项目试样的分解采用1.3方法二分解试样方法。
在谱线库中选择分析谱线,然后观察这些分析线的峰形和干扰情况,通过对镧、铈、镨、钕、钐浓度均为10 μg/mL和铁浓度为1 mg/mL的标液试验了各测量元素的谱线的信背比,初步确定了适宜的分析谱线。
分析谱线的选择应遵循所选谱线灵敏度高、干扰少、信背比高的原则。按照谱线的选择原则最终确定各稀土元素的最优分析谱线,La元素为408.672 nm,Ce元素为418.660 nm,Pr元素为422.293 nm,Nd元素为406.109 nm,Sm元素为359.260 nm。
在7个250 mL聚四氟乙烯烧杯中,称取6份0.100 0 g不含镧、铈、镨、钕、钐的铁矿石或炉渣标样作为打底基体,按酸溶法和碱熔法分别分解样品,冷却至室温分别转移于7个100 mL塑料容量瓶中,然后分别移取稀土氧化物La2O3、CeO2、Pr6O11、Nd2O3、Sm2O3混合标准溶液0 mL、1.00 mL(10 μg/mL)、5.00 mL(10 μg/mL)、10.00 mL(10 μg/mL)、2.00 mL(100 μg/mL)、5.00 mL(100 μg/mL)、10.00 mL(100 μg/mL)于7个100 mL容量瓶中,用纯水稀释至刻度,混匀。得到含量分别为0、0.010%、0.050%、0.100%、0.200%、0.500%、1.00%的标准系列溶液。
在选定的仪器工作参数下,分别按浓度由低到高测量标准系列溶液的待测元素信号强度,以标准溶液的浓度为横坐标,以其净信号强度为纵坐标绘制标准曲线。
准确称取0.100 0 g不含被测元素铁矿石或渣样,按1.3方法二进行试样处理,定容后在仪器最佳工作条件下进行测试,以10次测量结果的标准偏差的三倍作为检出限,测定结果见表5
一般以检出限的10倍作为该方法的测定下限。由表5可得出,矿、渣中各稀土元素的测定下限均可以确定为0.005 0%。
准确称取0.100 0 g不含被测元素铁矿石样,根据铁矿石、炉渣中低含量镧、铈、镨、钕、钐含量特点,分别加入1 000 μg/mL的稀土氧化物标准溶液5.00 mL、10.00 mL、1.00 mL、2.00 mL、1.00 mL,准确称取0.100 0 g不含被测元素渣样,加入100 μg/mL的稀土氧化物标准溶液各5.00 mL。按照1.3方法二进行试样处理定容后,在选定的最佳仪器工作条件下进行测试,根据工作曲线计算各元素的回收率,试验结果见表6
表6可以看出,矿、渣中各元素的回收率均在98%~104%之间,所以可以确定铁矿石中各稀土元素测定上限:La测定上限为5%,Ce测定上限为10%,Pr测定上限为1%,Nd测定上限为2%,Sm测定上限为1%;渣中各稀土元素测定上限均为0.500%。
按1.3方法二进行试样处理,分别以标准物质包头矿R-717、包头矿R-715、原矿B-K-1、包头精矿B-K-2、高炉渣R-711进行准确度试验。由于标准样品给定的参考值为各稀土元素含量之和且包头矿中98%以上稀土均为轻稀土,因此,本试验测定稀土元素含量之和进行比对。测定结果见表7。将标准物质包头矿R-717和高炉渣R-711送稀土院进行分析比对;对包头精矿B-K-2、渣样进行加标回收试验,测定结果见表8
表7表8数据可以得出,本方法的测定结果与标准物质给定的参考值之间差值较小;标准物质包头矿R-717和高炉渣R-711与送稀土院进行分析比对结果一致;加标回收率在98%~103%,说明本方法具有较高的准确度,能够准确测定试样中各稀土元素的含量。
按1.3方法二进行试样分解处理后,分别以标准物质(无单稀土元素含量,只有稀土总量)包头矿R-717、高炉渣R-711进行精密度试验(n=10),测定结果见表9表10
表9表10试验数据可以得出,标准物质的精密度试验数据的相对标准偏差均小于5%,说明本方法具有较高的精密度。
通过试验确定了测定铁矿石、炉渣中镧、铈、镨、钕、钐五元素含量的样品溶解方法,完成了仪器测定条件的优化选择。通过试验确定了稀土元素的最优分析谱线,确定了本方法的检测下限、检测上限及检测范围。铁矿石及炉渣中镧、铈、镨、钕、钐的精密度和准确度试验数据说明本方法能快速、准确同时测定铁矿石、炉渣中低含量镧、铈、镨、钕、钐含量。
