In this paper, the oxidation and decarbonization as well as formation rule of heterogeneous particles around cracks of web for SS400B hot rolled H beam are studied. The experiment is designed based on the actual working conditions on site as well as oxidation and decarbonization and performance distribution of heterogeneous particles with different processes are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively with metallographic analysis and energy spectrum. The results showed that there was decarburization around cracks of SS400B hot rolled H beam in the stage of rough rolling, but no heterogeneous particles appeared. It is systematically and comprehensively explained that the oxidation and decarbonization and precipitation of silicon containing heterogeneous particles around cracks are closely related to the composition of steel, process location and thermal regulation combining with domestic study results.

文章研究了SS400B热轧H型钢腹板裂纹周围的氧化脱碳及异质颗粒的形成规律。依据现场实际工况设计试验,采用金相分析、能谱定性定量分析不同工艺下氧化脱碳及异质颗粒的性态分布,结果表明SS400B热轧H型钢在轧钢粗轧阶段产生的裂纹周围存在脱碳,但不会出现异质颗粒。结合国内研究结果,系统全面的说明了裂纹周围的氧化脱碳以及含硅异质颗粒的析出与钢种成分、工序位置、热工制度均有密切关系。

文章研究了SS400B热轧H型钢腹板裂纹周围的氧化脱碳及异质颗粒的形成规律。依据现场实际工况设计试验,采用金相分析、能谱定性定量分析不同工艺下氧化脱碳及异质颗粒的性态分布,结果表明SS400B热轧H型钢在轧钢粗轧阶段产生的裂纹周围存在脱碳,但不会出现异质颗粒。结合国内研究结果,系统全面的说明了裂纹周围的氧化脱碳以及含硅异质颗粒的析出与钢种成分、工序位置、热工制度均有密切关系。

In this paper, the oxidation and decarbonization as well as formation rule of heterogeneous particles around cracks of web for SS400B hot rolled H beam are studied. The experiment is designed based on the actual working conditions on site as well as oxidation and decarbonization and performance distribution of heterogeneous particles with different processes are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively with metallographic analysis and energy spectrum. The results showed that there was decarburization around cracks of SS400B hot rolled H beam in the stage of rough rolling, but no heterogeneous particles appeared. It is systematically and comprehensively explained that the oxidation and decarbonization and precipitation of silicon containing heterogeneous particles around cracks are closely related to the composition of steel, process location and thermal regulation combining with domestic study results.

国内热轧H型钢生产厂家主要为马钢、莱钢、津西、日照、包钢等企业,产品覆盖小、中、大、厚规格及国标、美标、英标、日标、韩标、欧标、德标等。这些企业在投产初期均出现过成品批量腹板裂纹,在稳定生产中各企业也会不同程度出现批量腹板裂纹,给企业造成极大的经济损失。随着热轧H型钢产品钢级的提高、合金元素的增加以及特殊规格的轧制造成腹板裂纹比率增加,加之异型坯生产线设备复杂,控制难度大,生产过程中腹板裂纹究竟在哪些工序产生成为企业不断争论的焦点。国内外围绕腹板裂纹产生的原因、形成机理和解决措施做了部分工作,但对腹板裂纹周围的异质颗粒的形成规律研究非常少[1]。本文通过试验手段并结合现场实际工况,重点对热轧H型钢在轧制阶段的粗轧工序产生裂纹后腹板裂纹周围是否会出现脱碳及析出含硅异质颗粒进行试验,为判定产生腹板裂纹的工序提供理论基础。
美国钢铁协会(ALSI)研究结论是异质颗粒(氧化圆点)可在连铸结晶器到热轧粗轧之间的任意位置产生[2],以此推论,热轧H型钢腹板裂纹可能产生于铸坯,也可能产生于加热或轧制阶段。为了研究分析腹板裂纹与异质颗粒间的关系,采用日标SS400B热轧H型钢进行研究,该材质在实际工业生产过程中裂纹比率高,除添加微量硼元素外无其他V、Ti、Nb、Cu、Cr、Ni等合金,容易分析腹板裂纹与异质颗粒间的关系,试验设计了预制裂纹模拟试验,钢种成分见表1
研究SS400B无腹板裂纹缺陷的异型坯在加热过程中是否开裂意义不大,这是因为SS400B合金含量非常少,与Q235B成分接近,完好的普碳钢SS400B异型坯在炉况稳定的连续生产过程不易产生裂纹。而对于含有较多Ti、Nb、Cu、Cr、P等合金元素的热轧异型坯应考虑缓冷措施、吊装方式、铸坯在加热炉中的升温速度及在炉时间。
本试验主要模拟粗轧阶段产生的腹板裂纹周围是否会出现氧化脱碳及异质颗粒,最终判断成品SS400B腹板裂纹产生于连铸阶段还是轧钢阶段。设计预制裂纹模拟试验,从成品SS400B腹板处取样,在规格为H300×300×10×15的SS400B成品腹板上沿轧制方向取六条300 mm×30 mm拉伸试样,编号分别为1#、2#、3#、4#、5#、6#
1#试样模拟轧钢粗轧阶段产生裂纹,即完好无缺陷的试样在1 200 ℃时保温10 min,出炉后用尖锐物快速制造裂纹,再放回加热炉中保温5 min出炉空冷。
2#、3#、4#、5#、6#试样沿拉伸试样的横向方向,线切割出5 mm深度后进行裂纹植入,在压力机上使该线切割处扩展出裂纹尖端。将这五根预制裂纹的试样同时放入高温热处理炉中,在1 000 ℃入炉并快速升温至1 200 ℃下分别保温3 min、5 min、15 min、30 min、60 min出炉空冷,观察不同保温时间下氧化脱碳程度,以及异质颗粒与在炉保温时间的关系。图1为热处理工艺图,图2为预制裂纹试样的宏观形貌。
生产过程中异型坯表面的细小腹板裂纹在氧化皮的遮掩下肉眼不易观察到,裂纹缺陷在加热炉中加热4~8 h后会被带到轧钢工序,经轧制后裂纹被放大暴露于钢材表面,这样的裂纹经历过高温加热过程,基体中的C元素与空气中的氧反应贯穿形成脱碳,同时脱硅形成氧化圆点,即显微组织中观察到的氧化圆点及氧化脱碳,产生这一过程的主要原因是带有裂纹缺陷的钢坯在加热炉中长时间高温加热造成的。实际轧钢生产过程中,钢坯从加热炉出炉后,轧件在粗轧工序1 180 ℃的高温段最多停留2~3 min,之后轧件在中轧及精轧阶段连续降温,5 min内降至900 ℃左右,这时一支H型钢成品轧制完成。如果在粗轧工序产生裂纹缺陷,那么该裂纹就会经历1 180 ℃高温下粗轧2~3 min,然后连续降温至900 ℃左右,裂纹具有在高温阶段停留时间短、连续降温速度快的特点。本试验针对钢坯完好无裂纹缺陷提出,假设在粗轧阶段由于刮伤等原因产生裂纹,那么这个阶段产生的裂纹周围是否也会出现氧化圆点和脱碳。如果出现氧化圆点和脱碳,则难以区分裂纹究竟产生于连铸阶段还是粗轧阶段;如果不出现氧化圆点和脱碳,则可明确判断出裂纹产生工序位置。所以该试验重点研究在1 200 ℃下保温5 min裂纹周围是否会析出异质颗粒(氧化圆点)。
磨制有缺陷部位的试样,分别观察抛光和腐蚀后的样品,1#试样周围没有脱碳现象,同时也没有析出异质颗粒。2#试样裂纹周围存在脱碳,脱碳层深度为72 μm,但无异质颗粒形成。3#试样裂纹周围存在脱碳,脱碳层深度为159 μm,但无异质颗粒形成。4#、5#和6#试样裂纹周围存在严重的脱碳现象,裂纹周围有大量的异质颗粒,脱碳层存在细小的异质颗粒并深入到基体内部,其尺寸大部分小于1 μm,个别达到3~5 μm,组织为铁素体+珠光体,存在铁素体晶粒长大现象。随保温时间的延长,裂纹缺陷周围的氧化脱碳及异质颗粒情况见图3表2统计了不同保温时间下,裂纹周围脱碳及异质颗粒情况。
采用扫描电镜分析抛光后4#、5#、6#试样的异质颗粒成分,图4中的1点为钢材基体,2点、3点、4点、5点依次为钢基体向裂纹处靠近的异质颗粒。图5为钢材基体及典型异质颗粒成分的定性分析。能谱分析结果表明大部分异质颗粒均由Si、O、Mn元素组成,不同的异质颗粒,其各元素成分含量存在差异,少部分异质颗粒中含有Ca、S等元素,Fe元素为基体。图6为试样每点位置的各元素能谱定量分析结果。
图6可以看出,4#、5#及6#试样的1点位置均为钢材基体成分,主要为Fe元素。随着测试点向裂纹靠近,能谱定量分析的异质颗粒的主要成分变化表现为Fe元素含量降低,O、Si、Mn元素含量增加,其中O元素的含量是Si元素含量的2~3倍。每个试样的3号位置、4号位置、5号位置的异质颗粒各元素含量基本相当,主要元素均为O、Si、Mn元素,定量分析的元素总质量按100%计算,除去C、O、Si、Mn、S、Ca等元素,其余为Fe元素。
上述试验表明,6个试样的组织为粗大的铁素体+珠光体,说明试样已经烧透且比实际生产的热工条件更为恶劣。1 200 ℃高温快速出炉制造的裂纹放回炉中再保温3 min,缺陷周围没有氧化脱碳现象,也没有含Si、Mn的异质颗粒析出。带有裂纹的试样在1 200 ℃保温3~5 min,裂纹周围脱碳,但不出现异质颗粒,而带有裂纹的试样在炉保温时间达到15~60 min时,随保温时间的延长裂纹缺陷周围的脱碳层深度增加,异质颗粒层厚度也增加。实际工况中,SS400B型钢轧钢开轧温度最高为1 180 ℃,轧制一支钢材所需时间为3~5 min,高温段停留时间最多2 min,该试验条件比实际轧钢更为苛刻,所以粗扎阶段产生的裂纹在高温段停留时间短会出现脱碳现象,但缺陷周围不出现异质颗粒。
有文章表明冷轧硅钢在热轧阶段也可产生裂纹及异质颗粒,但没有进行脱碳的深入研究,这是因为冷轧硅钢是低碳钢种,缺陷附近脱碳现象难以被观察到,但硅含量较高,缺陷处容易伴随出现异质颗粒现象,并根据硅钢热轧裂纹与加热炉中铸坯裂纹脱硅性差异,作为硅钢缺陷产生工序的判定[2-3]。而SS400B较之冷轧硅钢碳含量高,硅含量低,所以高温短时保温缺陷处可以观察到脱碳现象,但无异质颗粒,随着SS400B高温保温时间的延长,裂纹缺陷处氧化脱碳严重并伴有异质颗粒层厚度增加。通过本试验及相关报道可以看出,脱碳及异质颗粒形成与钢种的碳含量和添加的合金元素密切相关,碳含量低的钢种不易观察脱碳,碳含量高的钢种高温短时保温也能出现裂纹周围的脱碳;Cr、Si含量较高钢种易形成异质颗粒,而Si含量较低的钢种需要在高温阶段保温足够的时间才会达到析出异质颗粒的条件,P含量较高的钢种异质颗粒形成温度较低。所以裂纹周围的氧化脱碳和异质颗粒形成与钢种成分、热工制度均有关系[4-7]
(1)SS400B热轧H型钢粗轧阶段引起钢材裂纹,则会出现裂纹周围的脱碳现象,高温短时轧制过程不会出现异质颗粒。SS400B成品腹板裂纹周围有脱碳及析出含Si、Mn异质颗粒,则说明该裂纹缺陷曾经历了足够时间高温氧化脱碳脱硅过程,裂纹起源于铸坯并非粗轧阶段。
(2)裂纹周围的氧化脱碳和异质颗粒形成与钢种成分、热工制度均有关系。钢材的碳含量决定了脱碳程度,合金元素含量、种类与异质颗粒的形成密切相关。
