The stability of rock slopes is mainly controlled by the spatial composing relations between the developmental structural plane in slope rock mass and slope. The stereographic projection is to project the interaction cutting relation of slopes and structural plane space onto a plane, with which the failure types and stability of rock slopes could be intuitively and preliminarily analyzed to provide support for the subsequent treatment of rock slopes. The analysis and determination for failure types and stability of rock slopes with polar stereographic projection are introduced by taking the stability evaluation of rock slope for 2# open pit of Shuangli Iron Mine of Inner Mongolia Shuangli Mining Co. , Ltd. as an example as well as the prevention measures for unstable rock slope are proposed based on the failure types of slopes.

岩质边坡的稳定性主要是受边坡岩体内发育结构面与边坡的空间组合关系控制,赤平投影是将边坡和结构面空间的相互切割作用关系投影到平面上,可以直观地初步对岩质边坡的破坏类型及稳定性进行分析,为后续的岩质边坡的治理提供支持。以内蒙古双利矿业有限公司双利铁矿2#露天采场岩质边坡稳定性评价为例,介绍利用极射赤平投影法分析判定岩质边坡破坏类型及边坡稳定性,最终针对边坡破坏类型提出不稳定岩质边坡防治措施。

The stability of rock slopes is mainly controlled by the spatial composing relations between the developmental structural plane in slope rock mass and slope. The stereographic projection is to project the interaction cutting relation of slopes and structural plane space onto a plane, with which the failure types and stability of rock slopes could be intuitively and preliminarily analyzed to provide support for the subsequent treatment of rock slopes. The analysis and determination for failure types and stability of rock slopes with polar stereographic projection are introduced by taking the stability evaluation of rock slope for 2# open pit of Shuangli Iron Mine of Inner Mongolia Shuangli Mining Co. , Ltd. as an example as well as the prevention measures for unstable rock slope are proposed based on the failure types of slopes.

极射赤平投影是将立体关系投影到平面上进行研究的一种研究方法,其最早是在天文学领域应用,将星体在太空当中所处的位置关系以及星体间相对的位置关系和大小进行研究[1]。极射赤平投影是利用将线、面的方位以及其两者间的角距等关系平面化的原理,把物体所处的三维空间的几何要素表现在平面上进行研究[2]
通过工程地质的研究和实践表明,岩质边坡体的稳定性主要是由其边坡体内发育的结构面的物理力学性质、结构面在边坡体内所处的空间分布位置及相互间的切割组合关系决定的[3]
在岩质边坡稳定性定性研究方面,极射赤平投影是一种简明、直观并且有效的分析手段,目前在工程实践中得到了广泛的应用。
岩体结构是其在成岩过程及构造作用下形成的,岩体结构是岩体发生破坏的内在因素,在岩质边坡稳定性的研究分析过程中,首先要对岩体的结构做出准确的分析[4]。对于岩体结构的划分是较为复杂的,应用的工程要求不同,相应的岩体结构类型的划分存在着相应的区别。本文结合发育结构面的岩质边坡稳定性分析,参照孙玉科的岩体结构分类[5],将岩质边坡划分为以下3种类型。
岩体结构面是在岩体内发育的原生节理或者构造节理的基础上发展形成的,又在后期风化等地质作用下不断发展扩大。网状结构边坡主要的表现形式为:发育结构面较为密集,不存在定向规则排列,而且结构面较为粗糙,发育裂隙形式主要是张开裂隙,对边坡的稳定性起不到控制性的作用,其对岩质边坡的破坏与土质边坡的破坏类型是相似的,其破坏类型近似为圆弧形。
对于层状结构边坡来说,其内部发育多种相互近似平行的结构面,并且这些结构面排列的连续性较强,一般由于坡体内存在软弱夹层进而导致边坡失稳发生滑塌,滑塌的表现形式主要为顺软弱结构面的滑动,滑动面多为直线形。
对于块状结构边坡来说,其内部主要发育两组以上具有不同产状结构面的边坡,且不同产状结构面相互切割形成。边坡岩体的变形破坏主要是受结构面相互切割作用控制,主要表现为由结构面和临空面组合形成的破坏以及楔形体破坏,边坡岩体发生破坏滑动面主要为直线形、折线形或者楔形。
对于两组及以上结构面控制的岩质边坡稳定性可以根据两两结构面组合交线与边坡的关系,来分析切割体的稳定性,见图1
两组结构面(J1、J2)投影的交点(I)位于开挖边坡投影弧(SC)与自然边坡面(Sn)投影弧之间(图1(a)),表示J1、J2结构面间的组合交线倾角比现在边坡开挖的坡面角小,但是比自然坡面角的角度大,如果出现J1、J2结构面的组合交线在边坡坡面和坡顶位置出露时,此时边坡处于不稳定状态;但是如果J1、J2结构面的组合交线在边坡坡顶距离开挖坡面较远的位置,而且结构面的组合交线不在坡面出露的情况下,表示边坡处于较稳定的状态。
两组结构面投影的交点位于开挖边坡投影弧与自然边坡面投影弧的外侧(图1(b)),表明上述两组结构面间的组合交线倾角比现在边坡开挖的坡面角小,同时其组合交线在开挖边坡坡面没有出露。当在边坡坡顶未出现纵向切割面的情况下,边坡坡面处于稳定状态;但是当开挖边坡坡顶上存在发育的纵向切割面时,表示开挖坡面存在滑塌破坏的可能。
两组结构面的投影的交点位于开挖边坡投影弧上(图1(c)),表明上述两组结构面的组合交线倾角与现在边坡开挖的坡面角相等,表示边坡处于较稳定的状态。这时候进行开挖的边坡角的设置,就需要对岩体内部发育结构进行分析推论来设置保证边坡稳定性的边坡角。
两组结构面的投影的交点位于开挖边坡投影弧的内侧(图1(d)),表明两组结构面组合交线的倾角比开挖边坡面的倾角陡,边坡处于稳定状态。
两组结构面的投影的交点位于开挖边坡投影弧相对的半圆内(图1(e)),说明两组结构面的组合交线倾向坡内,边坡处于最稳定状态。
通过内蒙古双利矿业有限公司双利铁矿矿区已有生产勘探资料,结合本次工程地质测绘及钻探,矿区岩性按其工程地质性质划分如下:石英岩组、透闪岩组、千枚岩组、云母石英片岩组、第四系岩组、岩脉及构造岩组。根据工程地质条件、边坡几何形状及边坡倾向分为A、B、C、D四个区段。
在不考虑影响边坡稳定的坡高、坡顶荷载和山体自然坡度等条件下,采用赤平极射投影法,分别对四个区段的边坡稳定性进行定性分析。
根据边坡现状勘察结果,该区总体坡面产状180°∠47°,台阶坡面产状180°∠55°,发育优势节理共4组,分别为J1(180°∠80°)、J2(280°∠65°)、J3(215°∠70°)、J4(110°∠70°)。对上述结构面进行赤平投影分析,见图2
图2可知,J1与坡面倾向相同,且倾角大于坡角,J1、J3与坡面倾向小角度相交,且倾角大于坡角,对坡体稳定性基本无影响;J2、J4倾向与坡面近似垂直,对边坡稳定性基本无影响。J2与J4的组合交棱线与边坡倾向一致,且倾角小于坡角,属不稳定结构,该组合可能形成坡体楔形破坏;其余节理面组合属于较稳定、稳定结构,对边坡稳定性影响较小。
该区内褶皱发育,岩体变形严重。受褶皱构造以及结构面的共同作用,岩体呈碎块状,部分区域已发生坍塌,在1 850 m平台坡脚位置可见出水情况,基岩裂隙水及构造的作用导致岩体稳定性较低,因此该区属不稳定区域,应采用锚杆(索)、框架梁、喷射混凝土护面等方式进行加固处理,并且在坡面上设置泄水孔。
根据边坡现状勘察结果,该区总体坡面产状212°∠47°,台阶坡面产状212°∠65°,发育优势节理共4组,分别为J1(240°∠70°)、J2(135°∠45°)、J3(350°∠45°)、J4(200°∠65°);主要影响断层为2F3(210°∠70°)。对上述结构面进行赤平投影分析,见图3
图3可知,J1与坡面倾向交角较小,倾角大于总体坡角,对边坡整体稳定性影响较小;J4与坡面倾向相近,倾角小于台阶坡角而大于总体坡角,对单台阶坡体稳定性不利;J2倾向与坡面近似垂直,J3与坡面倾向相反,对边坡稳定性基本无影响。J3与J4的组合交棱线与边坡倾向一致,且倾角小于坡角,属不稳定结构,该组合可能形成坡体楔形破坏;J3、J4的组合交棱线与边坡倾向一致,倾角大于总体坡角而小于台阶坡角,属不稳定结构,该组合可能形成单台阶规模的楔形破坏,其余节理面组合属于较稳定、稳定结构,对边坡稳定性影响较小。
2F3与坡面倾向交角较小,但断层倾角较大,均不小于台阶坡角,对边坡稳定性影响较小。该区断层在目前揭露现状下基本无相交情况,边坡浅部范围内不产生断层面的不稳定结构组合。
本区边坡发育两组顺坡缓倾结构面,可能使坡体发生单平面滑动,且存在多组不稳定结构面组合,对边坡稳定性不利的结构较多。断层破碎带仅在局部发育,对边坡岩体完整性破坏较小。区内不利结构可能使边坡产生局部楔形掉块,造成坡体的单平面及楔形滑动,但不会导致大规模整体滑塌等变形破坏现象,对边坡整体稳定性影响较小,该区边坡现状整体稳定性较好。
本区1 948 m平台边缘出现距台阶边缘5~7 m、宽度为4~5 cm、长度为20 m规模的裂隙,岩体整体下错10~20 cm,高度为10~30 m,2F3断层从下错岩体后缘穿过,断层影响是造成岩体下错的直接原因。该不稳定体规模较大,变形迹象明显,不稳定体主要受2F3断层控制,上盘台阶岩体整体破碎,且影响范围较大,台阶前部基本为碎裂岩体,下盘千枚岩工程性质较好。建议对于该区域采取边坡削方减载及坡面打锚杆、锚索等工程加固,同时设置边坡平台截排水系统及坡面泄水孔等边坡治理措施。
根据边坡现状勘察结果,该区总体坡面产状238°∠48°,台阶坡面产状238°∠56°,发育优势节理共4组,分别为J1(335°∠64°)、J2(248°∠60°)、J3(7°∠64°)、J4(128°∠60°)。对上述结构面进行赤平投影分析,见图4
图4可知,J1、J4节理倾向与台阶坡面、总坡面近似垂直,J3与坡面呈大角度相交,对边坡的稳定性基本无影响,J2与台阶坡面、总坡面倾向交角较小,倾角小于坡面角,对边坡稳定性不利。J2与J4的组合交棱线与边坡倾向一致,且倾角大于总坡角而小于台阶坡角,属于不稳定结构,该组合可能形成单台阶规模的楔形破坏,J2与J1、J3的组合交棱线与边坡倾向一致,且倾角大于坡角,属于稳定结构,对边坡稳定性影响较小。
本区边坡发育一组顺坡缓倾结构面,可能使台阶发生单平面滑动,且存在多组不稳定结构面组合,对边坡稳定性不利的结构较多。区内不利结构可能使边坡产生局部楔形掉块,造成台阶坡体的单平面及楔形滑动,但不会导致大规模整体滑塌等变形破坏现象,对边坡整体稳定性影响较小,区内中上部为千枚岩,下部为石英岩,局部有透闪石岩出露,边坡整体较稳定,局部可能发生平面形破坏。该区边坡现状整体稳定性较好。本区域可能发生平面破坏的部位采用锚杆(索)、框架梁、喷射混凝土护面等方式进行加固治理,并且在坡面上设置泄水孔。
根据边坡现状勘察结果,该区总体坡面产状350°∠48°,台阶坡面产状350°∠58°,发育优势节理共5组,分别为J1(250°∠58°)、J2(350°∠80°)、J3(55°∠30°)、J4(170°∠65°),J5(10°∠50°);主要影响断层为2F2(210°∠68°)。对上述结构面进行赤平投影分析,见图5
图5可知,J1倾向与坡面近似垂直,J5与坡面呈大角度相交,J2倾向与坡面相同,倾角大于台阶坡角和总体坡角,J4与坡面倾向相反,对边坡稳定性基本无影响。J3倾向与坡面相同,倾角小于台阶坡角和总体坡角,对坡体稳定性不利。2F2与坡面呈大角度相交,对边坡稳定性基本无影响。J1与J3、J5、J5和2F2的组合交棱线与边坡倾向一致,且倾角小于坡角,属不稳定结构,上述组合可能形成坡体楔形破坏;其余节理面组合属于较稳定、稳定结构,对边坡稳定性影响较小。
本区边坡发育两组顺坡缓倾结构面,可能使台阶发生单平面滑动,且存在多组不稳定结构面组合,对边坡稳定性不利结构较多。区内不利结构可能使边坡产生局部楔形掉块,造成台阶坡体的单平面及楔形滑动,但不会导致大规模整体滑塌等变形破坏现象,对边坡整体稳定性影响较小,断层破碎带2F2在本区中部边坡呈东西向通过,由该区结构面组合关系可知,可能产生台阶规模楔形体破坏和台阶规模圆弧破坏为主。该区边坡现状整体稳定性一般。
该区出现多处滑塌坡段,岩体均沿顺坡优势节理面发生塌落,在坡面上可见“光面”节理面,该区采场边缘存在多条裂隙,裂隙长度不等,范围为2~8 m,有部分岩体下错,下错1~3 cm,部分已经发生滑塌,属于不稳定区域。本区域应对其他类似部位实施相应的监控以及坡面可采用锚杆(索)、框架梁、喷射混凝土护面等方式进行加固治理,同时应做好坡体截排水措施,减少雨水对岩体的影响。
在工程实践过程中采用赤平投影方法来研究分析岩质边坡稳定性问题,可以把复杂的空间作用问题投影在平面上进行研究,极大程度地简化了空间关系研究的问题,同时避免了复杂的演变计算过程。多数学者通过赤平投影的方法对岩质边坡稳定性进行了研究分析,均取得了良好的分析结果。但是对于赤平投影分析边坡稳定性问题方面也存在着一定的缺点,比如其不能够表达岩质边坡发育结构面的实际规模及其具体在边坡的出露位置,因此还需要地质工作者结合现场实际情况进行分析判定。
