The axle housing is one of the main components of traveling system for vehicle. The 650QK steel developed in laborotary is with the component design of medium carbon as well as trace amount of Nb, Ti and V alloy elements are added, the microstructure is fine and even ferrite, pearlite and bainite, grain size is grade 12~13, yield strength is 664~671 MPa, tensile strength is 762~794 MPa, elongation is 20.0%~21.5%, cold bending property and low temperature impact toughness are good, low temperature impact toughness at -60 ℃ reaches 127 J, ductile-brittle transition temperature is lower than -60 ℃, ultimate fatigue strength is 270 MPa as well as synthesized mechanical properties of material are good, which could provide the technical index of basic performances of material for industrial production.

桥壳是汽车行驶系统的主要构件之一,实验室研制的650QK采用中碳系成分设计,且添加微量Nb、Ti、V合金元素,组织为细小均匀的铁素体、珠光体和贝氏体,晶粒度为12~13级,屈服强度在664~671 MPa,抗拉强度在762~794 MPa,延伸率为20.0%~21.5%,冷弯性能良好,低温冲击韧性良好,-60 ℃低温冲击韧性达到127 J,韧脆转变温度低于-60 ℃,疲劳极限强度为270 MPa,材料的综合机械性能良好,为工业化生产提供了材料的基础性能技术指标。

The axle housing is one of the main components of traveling system for vehicle. The 650QK steel developed in laborotary is with the component design of medium carbon as well as trace amount of Nb, Ti and V alloy elements are added, the microstructure is fine and even ferrite, pearlite and bainite, grain size is grade 12~13, yield strength is 664~671 MPa, tensile strength is 762~794 MPa, elongation is 20.0%~21.5%, cold bending property and low temperature impact toughness are good, low temperature impact toughness at -60 ℃ reaches 127 J, ductile-brittle transition temperature is lower than -60 ℃, ultimate fatigue strength is 270 MPa as well as synthesized mechanical properties of material are good, which could provide the technical index of basic performances of material for industrial production.

桥壳是汽车行驶系统的主要构件之一,它是重要的承载部件。壳体冲压成形时要承受很大的弯曲和膨胀塑性变形,冲压成形后的壳体需要经过焊接组合成桥,以保护传动系统中的各部件[1]
随着中、重型卡车逐步向节能、轻量化的方向发展,鉴于桥壳的特殊服役环境,要求桥壳钢具备塑韧性好、强度适当、焊接性能和耐疲劳性能优良的性能。国内各钢厂桥壳钢的成形工艺略有差别,既有热冲压桥壳钢也有冷冲压桥壳钢,而且各钢厂桥壳钢牌号命名规则并不统一,数字含义也不相同,有的表征屈服强度,有的表征抗拉强度。首钢桥壳钢为冷冲压成形产品,其屈服强度达到550 MPa,分别设计了Mn+Ti系和Nb+微Ti系桥壳钢成分体系[2]。宝武开发出一系列高强度冷冲压及热冲压桥壳钢,冷冲压桥壳钢抗拉强度已经达到800 MPa级别以上,为桥壳的轻量化提供了多种解决方案[3]。宝武开发的冷冲压桥壳钢具有强度高、易冲压、易焊接等特点,生产效率高,适用于薄规格轻卡桥壳的生产。热冲压桥壳钢适用于热冲压成形工艺,其特殊设计的组织能够保证热冲压以后获得高强度及良好的抗疲劳性能。
为了形成桥壳用钢产品的系列化,本研究以开发屈服强度650 MPa高级别桥壳用钢为目标,在实验室开展了成分体系、工艺模拟、组织调控、力学性能、疲劳性能等一系列研究,基本摸清了650QK桥壳钢的成分、工艺及组织性能之间的关系,为开展工业试制奠定了基础。
桥壳钢要求具有高强度、良好的塑韧性及延展性,因此研究设计必须充分考虑各因素的影响,需要在冶炼、轧制、轧后处理等环节精确控制。考虑降低成本,成分设计应以中碳含量、微合金化为基本出发点,并充分运用细晶强化、析出强化等高强钢生产技术。
试验所用的冶炼、轧制设备主要为25 kg真空中频感应炉、Φ750 mm×550 mm二辊可逆热轧轧机及层流冷却机组。试验步骤为冶炼钢锭→热轧钢板(厚度12 mm)→层流冷却→加工试样→检测分析。
桥壳钢按中碳低硅钢设计,除了加入Nb、V、Ti等微合金元素外,还对钢中Al含量作出定量要求。加入的合金元素当中,Mn具有固溶强化作用,可提高钢的强度和塑性[4];Nb、V具有细晶强化作用,可提高钢的强韧性和疲劳性能[5]
将切割抛丸处理的低磷(≤0.010%)、低硫(≤0.005%)、低氧(≤0.004 0%)、低氮(≤0.006 0%)优质废钢和计算配比好的铁合金加入实验室25 kg真空中频感应炉,待废钢和铁合金全部熔化后浇注到钢锭模中,钢锭尺寸为220 mm×250 mm×300 mm的矩形,共冶炼三炉,具体化学成分见表1
钢锭加热温度要求1 200 ℃,加热时控制好炉内各区温度分布,保证钢锭温度的均匀性,待温度达到设定要求并保温一定时间,用机械手将钢锭置于机前辊道上,自动输送至Φ750 mm×550 mm轧机进行轧制,轧制成厚度12 mm的钢板。
轧制工艺采用两阶段控制轧制,即奥氏体再结晶区轧制和奥氏体再结晶区轧制。在奥氏体再结晶区轧制四道次,开轧温度设定为1 135~1 185 ℃。为细化原始奥氏体晶粒,第一和第二道次的压下率都大于10%。根据化学成分的目标值计算,650QK的奥氏体再结晶临界温度为960 ℃,所以奥氏体未再结晶区的轧制必须在奥氏体再结晶区轧制结束后,钢坯待温到960 ℃开始精轧,第五、第六道次的压下率控制在25%以上,后几道次的轧制压下率在15%左右。奥氏体未再结晶区轧制主要目的是使奥氏体晶粒伸长、晶界面积增加,轧制使得晶粒内部导入大量的变形带,可以增加相变形核密度和形核点,具有细化晶粒的作用,终轧温度控制在820~840 ℃。
轧制完成后,钢板进入层流冷却机组以20~25 ℃/s的冷却速度冷却,待表面温度达到400~450 ℃后进入冷床空冷。主要轧制工艺参数见表2
按照GB/T 228.1—2001《金属材料拉伸试验第一部分:室温试验方法》[6],沿钢板纵向取样,使用WAW-600C拉伸试验机检测钢板的力学性能,检测结果见表3。由表3可见,钢板的屈服强度为664~671 MPa,抗拉强度为762~794 MPa,延伸率为20.0%~21.5%,屈服强度、抗拉强度和延伸率均符合设计要求,并且强度存在一定的富余量。
试验钢显微组织为铁素体+珠光体+贝氏体,如图1所示。按照GB/T 6394—2002《金属平均晶粒度测定方法》[7],试验钢晶粒度评级为12~13级,B类夹杂物评级为1.5级,Ds类夹杂物评级均为1.0级。
650QK冷弯试验取矩形试样,宽度30 mm,180°冷弯,弯芯直径d=2.0 a(a为试样厚度),冷弯结果合格,冷弯试样照片如图2所示。
在板宽四分之一处取纵向试样,加工成10.0 mm×10.0 mm×5.0 mm的V 型缺口半尺寸冲击试样,按照GB/T 229—2020 《金属材料夏比摆锤冲击试验方法》[8],使用NI750冲击试验机进行20 ℃、0 ℃、-20 ℃、-40 ℃、-60 ℃等五个不同温度的冲击试验,结果如图3所示,可以看出试验钢的韧脆转变温度低于-60 ℃,表明低温冲击韧性良好。
利用扫描电镜观察650QK试验钢系列温度冲击断口形貌,如图4所示。由图4可见,试验钢20 ℃、0 ℃、-20 ℃的冲击断口形貌为韧窝状,-40 ℃的断口形貌为准解理+韧窝,-60 ℃的断口形貌为准解理。
沿钢板纵向取矩形试样,按照GB/T 3075—2008 《金属材料疲劳试验轴向力控制方法》[9]标准要求进行疲劳特性测试。本研究试验钢的疲劳寿命设计目标为5×106次。试验加载应力取230 MPa、250 MPa、260 MPa、270 MPa、280 MPa、290 MPa、300 MPa、310 MPa、330 MPa、350 MPa等10个数值,将试验结果应用Minitab软件拟合绘制曲线,以图形法示于图5。试验结果表明,当加载应力在280~350 MPa之间时,试样最高循环周次达到120万次发生断裂;加载应力在230~270 MPa之间时,试样循环周次达到500万次仍然未断裂,可以认定试验钢的疲劳强度为270 MPa。实际上从拟合曲线走向来看,平台大致位于230 MPa,与试验结果有近40 MPa的差距,这个与试样数量不足有关系,试验结果可能略高于材料实际疲劳强度。
按照设计的试验方案,在实验室制备获得的650QK样品各项性能满足设计要求,强韧性匹配良好,具有良好的耐低温冲击韧性,应用Minitab软件拟合绘制曲线得到材料疲劳极限强度为270 MPa。实验室研究探索出650QK桥壳钢的成分、工艺及组织性能之间的对应关系,为工业试制奠定了基础。
