The SS steel grade rail with 60E1 cross section is manufactured with small batch production by comparing the rails with 60E1 and 115RE cross sections, optimizing chemical composition, adopting narrow composition control, increasing C content, controlling contents of Mn and Cr as well as optimizing rolling process. The rail performances could reach Rp0.2≥512 MPa,Rm≥982 MPa,A≥10% and tread hardness (HB) ≥310. The small batch industrial production practices prove that the production process of SS steel grade rail with 60E1 cross section is trouble free and its performances are stable, which could meet the user needs so that it can be produced with incremental quantity.

通过60E1和115RE断面钢轨对比,优化钢轨化学成分,采取窄成分控制,提高C含量,控制Mn、Cr元素含量,优化轧制工艺,小批量生产了60E1断面SS钢轨,钢轨性能达到Rp0.2≥512 MPa,Rm≥982 MPa,A≥10%,踏面硬度(HB)≥310。小批量工业生产实践证明,60E1断面SS钢轨生产工艺顺行,性能稳定,满足用户需要,可以扩量生产。

The SS steel grade rail with 60E1 cross section is manufactured with small batch production by comparing the rails with 60E1 and 115RE cross sections, optimizing chemical composition, adopting narrow composition control, increasing C content, controlling contents of Mn and Cr as well as optimizing rolling process. The rail performances could reach Rp0.2≥512 MPa,Rm≥982 MPa,A≥10% and tread hardness (HB) ≥310. The small batch industrial production practices prove that the production process of SS steel grade rail with 60E1 cross section is trouble free and its performances are stable, which could meet the user needs so that it can be produced with incremental quantity.

为应对高速铁路的发展,通过装备、工艺、技术的不断进步,国内各钢厂先后建立了高洁净度、高均质、高尺寸精度、高平直度的百米钢轨生产线,实现了高速铁路和高品质钢轨的规模化生产。随着各国对铁路重载要求的日益严格,要求钢轨具有更强的耐磨性、更高的硬度[1],同时对钢轨轨型也提出新的要求,要求断面面积较大的钢轨如60E1断面。根据订货要求,采购《AREMA铁路工程保养手册》(2020)(简称AREMA标准)规定的SS强度级别钢轨(简称SS钢轨),规格为EN 13674-1:2011+A1:2017标准[2]中的60E1断面,要求钢轨屈服强度Rp0.2≥512 MPa,抗拉强度Rm≥982 MPa,伸长率A≥10%,踏面硬度(HB)≥310。
AREMA标准115RE断面SS钢轨已形成批量生产,钢轨各项性能均满足AREMA标准要求,此次提出60E1断面钢轨供货,属于首次生产。为了确保60E1断面钢轨的性能,对这两个断面进行比较分析,断面尺寸如图1所示。
图1可知,60E1断面钢轨轨头面积要大于115RE断面钢轨轨头面积,在同等条件下,60E1断面钢轨的散热速度相对于115RE断面钢轨要弱一些,冷速慢。钢轨顶面硬度与轧后冷速关系较大,为了保证60E1断面钢轨的性能,针对该钢轨生产进行了化学成分及轧制工艺优化。
该钢种属于高C含Cr钢,在钢中Cr和Fe形成连续固溶体,与C形成多种碳化物,可提高钢的强度和耐磨性,增加淬透性,改善抗氧化和抗腐蚀能力[3]
随着C含量的增加,钢的硬度也会相应提高,但塑性有所下降,结合115RE断面SS钢轨生产数据,确定此钢的化学成分范围见表1
工业试验的工艺流程为:铁水预处理→复吹转炉冶炼→LF精炼→VD真空脱气→大方坯连铸→步进炉加热→万能轧制→步进式预弯冷床冷却→矫直→探伤→加工→检查入库。
炼钢厂根据质量计划及钢轨生产技术规范冶炼,主要工艺参数见表2
在钢轨钢冶炼过程中,要求深真空时间不低于15 min,软吹时间不低于10 min,严格执行钢轨控制要求,深真空时间和软吹时间均满足要求。
对钢的熔炼成分C、Mn含量进行了统计及分析,见图2图3
从统计结果可知,C含量优化后较优化前平均提高0.02个百分点,Mn含量优化后较优化前平均提高0.04个百分点。
按照AREMA标准取样检验钢中气体含量,结果见表3
钢中氢含量平均为0.000 149%,最大为0.000 20%,符合技术要求,液态钢水中氢含量分布表明氢控制稳定。钢中氧含量平均为0.000 7%,最大为0.001 0%,氧含量控制较好。
按照钢轨生产技术规范,每炉钢检验一次铸坯低倍,检验结果见表4
表4可知,连铸坯低倍检验结果为中心疏松0.5级、非金属夹杂物0.5级,其他均为0级,连铸坯质量控制良好。
轨梁厂采用280 mm×380 mm连铸坯,轧制规格为EN 13674-1:2011+A1:2017标准中60E1断面钢轨。钢坯开轧温度平均为1 100 ℃,终轧温度平均为920 ℃,扩大冷床步距,加速轧后冷却速率,提高性能。
对115RE断面和60E1断面SS钢轨拉伸性能进行统计分析,见表5
表5可知,优化成分和轧制工艺后,60E1断面钢轨力学性能和115RE断面钢轨力学性能相当,抗拉强度平均值为1 095 MPa,屈服强度平均值为635 MPa,伸长率平均值为11.0%,踏面硬度(HB)平均值为316,均满足技术要求,达到了预期目标。
为了更好地保证钢轨内部质量,本批60E1断面钢轨生产非金属夹杂物均要求按照铁标TB/T 2344.1—2020要求执行,要严于AREMA标准要求。对60E1断面钢轨的非金属夹杂物类型及级别进行统计,结果见表6,非金属夹杂物最大为1.5级,最小为0.5级,都满足要求。
按照AREMA标准取轨头试样进行显微组织检测,显微组织均为珠光体,见图4
根据AREMA标准将整个横断面切下来,表面光洁度达到要求后,全部浸入热酸液中进行充分浸蚀,漂洗、刷净吹干后,对钢轨进行低倍检验,均满足标准要求。无白点、缩孔、皮下气泡等缺陷,钢轨低倍照片如图5所示。
对所有60E1断面钢轨进行超声波探伤,无伤轨。60E1断面钢轨工业生产成材率为92.21%,合格率为98.92%,达到了预期目标。
按照AREMA标准要求,取610 mm长钢轨进行轨腰残余应力检测,采用锯切法,切割沿轨腰的中和轴进行,切割长度为400 mm,如图6所示。
通过检测,60E1断面钢轨的垂直位移d=2.16 mm,远低于标准d≤3.75 mm的要求,完全满足标准要求。
在钢轨生产时测定115RE、60E1断面钢轨上冷床后的温降情况,每间隔1 min测一次,温降曲线如图7所示。
图7所示,115RE断面钢轨上冷床温度为783 ℃,60E1断面钢轨上冷床温度为773 ℃,上冷床4 min后两断面钢轨温度降到660 ℃,随后出现一个平台,大约5 min后温度开始下降,平台处60E1断面钢轨温度要高于115RE断面钢轨。大断面钢轨温降低于小断面钢轨温降,因此采取降低终轧温度、加快冷却的生产工艺是可行的。
(1)通过优化SS钢轨化学成分、轧制及冷却工艺,60E1断面钢轨性能满足技术要求,屈服强度Rp0.2≥512 MPa,抗拉强度Rm≥982 MPa,伸长率A≥10%,踏面硬度(HB)≥310。
(2)60E1断面钢轨钢冶炼工艺、轧制工艺稳定。批量出口生产表明性能稳定,成材率达到92.21%。
