In this paper, the cognition for ore genesis of iron, rare earth and niobium of Bayan Obo is put forward with comprehensive geological research means through surface geological survey, geostatistics, element spatial concentration regularity as well as researches of the latest deep drilling data and fluid inclusions. It is considered that the iron, rare earth and niobium ores are the genesis of igneous carbonate magma accompanied by multi-period hydrothermal metasomatism in later period, which provide important basis for Bayan Obo to establish the prospecting model, conduct metallogenic prediction and evaluation as well as accurately search for resource target regions.

利用综合地质研究手段,通过地表地质调查、地质统计学、元素空间富集规律、最新深部钻孔资料及流体包裹体的研究,提出了白云鄂博铁、稀土、铌矿床成因认识,认为白云鄂博铁、稀土、铌矿是火成碳酸岩浆成因,伴随后期多期热液交代活动。该成果为白云鄂博建立找矿模式、进行成矿预测及评价、准确寻找资源靶区提供了重要依据。

In this paper, the cognition for ore genesis of iron, rare earth and niobium of Bayan Obo is put forward with comprehensive geological research means through surface geological survey, geostatistics, element spatial concentration regularity as well as researches of the latest deep drilling data and fluid inclusions. It is considered that the iron, rare earth and niobium ores are the genesis of igneous carbonate magma accompanied by multi-period hydrothermal metasomatism in later period, which provide important basis for Bayan Obo to establish the prospecting model, conduct metallogenic prediction and evaluation as well as accurately search for resource target regions.

对白云鄂博矿床的研究将近一个世纪,在矿床成因、成矿元素富集机制、成矿流体、成矿时代、赋矿白云岩成因以及控矿构造研究等方面,不同学者、流派提出了众多不同的认识和见解,时至今日,依然没有完全达成共识。各种对立的、矛盾的成因观点彰显了白云鄂博矿床成因的复杂性。
从分析白云鄂博矿区的地表地质现象、微量元素特征、矿物学特征入手,对照世界上岩浆碳酸岩区的特点和岩浆碳酸岩成岩成矿机理,立足前人已有的对赋矿白云岩的研究成果,结合近年来在东矿深部勘查工作中收集到的实际资料,经综合研究后认为,白云鄂博铁、稀土、铌矿床是岩浆碳酸岩成因。
含矿白云岩体与围岩的接触关系反映的是侵入接触关系,直接证据有:
(1)含矿白云岩呈脉状穿入不同岩矿石中。在东矿的南部,见到含矿白云岩侵入到炭质板岩和白云岩中,见图1
(2)在东矿东部及北部含矿白云岩中多处见到变质粉砂岩捕掳体,见图2
(3)具有明显的流动构造特征。在矿坑及深部钻孔的岩芯中见有由萤石、磁铁矿、稀土矿物组成的流线,呈现流动状构造,独居石被磷灰石交代,见图3
白云鄂博矿床成因争论主要是由于白云岩成因不清楚引起的。与中国地质大学(武汉)合作,在ZK20-2钻孔(最深钻孔)岩芯中对含矿白云岩进行了取样分析。
对含矿白云岩分粗粒白云岩、细粒白云岩和不等粒白云岩样品分别进行了全岩微量元素分析,数据见表1。全岩分析结果显示稀土含量变化范围较大,可从4 917 g/t变化至42 717 g/t,这与白云质碳酸岩稀土变化范围大致相同(15 295~34 313 g/t),而远高于沉积碳酸盐岩的稀土含量(115~151 g/t)。
在稀土特征上,含矿白云岩和岩浆碳酸岩均具有明显的轻重稀土分异,La、Lu含量比值全部都大于1 000,与沉积碳酸盐岩的(La、Lu含量比值为45.777)明显不同。
电子探针数据见表2表3表4。在岩相学研究的基础上,通过对均一和不均一两种含矿白云岩样品进行电子探针分析发现,主量元素除MgO(10.76%~16.17%)和FeO(4.38%~11.88%)变化范围较大以外,其余都保持稳定,如CaO变化范围(26.90%~28.93%)。但由于含矿白云岩造岩矿物主要为铁白云石,考虑是由于Fe2+与Mg2+在晶格中互相替换导致,综合观察CaO+MgO+FeO的值,白云岩的主量元素仍保持稳定(48.69%~51.67%)。
含矿白云岩几乎不含K2O和Na2O,最高的也分别只有0.07%和0.30%,考虑是含有少量钠闪石的缘故。
图4中,反映的是含矿白云岩的SrO含量和MnO含量都远高于沉积碳酸盐岩。而与该区域内岩浆型碳酸岩相比,SrO含量相似,但MnO含量明显较高。
一般认为,判断白云岩为沉积碳酸盐岩还是火成碳酸岩,MnO和SrO的含量可以作为判定标准,若其含量同时小于0.15%则为碳酸盐岩,若其含量同时大于0.15%则为碳酸岩[1]。如图4所示,样品中SrO含量均大于0.15%,全部样品MnO的含量均大于0.15%,反映了明显的火成碳酸岩特征。
从主量元素的特点可以看出,含矿白云岩与火成碳酸岩的特征类似。
与中国地质科学院矿产资源研究所合作,开展了含矿白云岩流体地质学的研究工作,主要查明磁铁白云岩和稀土白云岩这两种白云岩形成的温度和流体环境。
(1)磁铁白云岩。在东矿的磁铁矿白云岩样品中,磁铁矿呈条带状,细粒结构,块状构造。在白云石中观察到了大量纯CO2流体包裹体,其数量、形态与石英中的流体包裹体十分相似,但是流体包裹体明显偏小,为3~13 μm,多呈椭圆形、四边形,显示出孤立分布的原生包裹体特征,见图5。据Qin等[2]认为,矿体内较纯净的磁铁白云岩中的白云石存在气液两相包裹体,其大多为1~5 μm,气液比小于5%,还存在透明度较差热液成因的纯CO2流体包裹体,与本文所观察到的流体包裹体形态相似。
(2)稀土白云岩。在铁矿体围岩富稀土矿物的白云岩中,样品为萤石型条带状稀土白云岩,细粒结构,块状构造。通过显微镜观察,稀土矿物呈条带状、板柱状和粒状,主要为氟碳铈矿和独居石(见图6AB)。稀土矿物中的包裹体主要为气液两相包裹体,其分布数量不多,形态多为长条状、椭圆状,流体包裹体直径较小,大小为2~9 μm,多为孤立分布的原生流体包裹体(见图6CDEF)。
(1)磁铁白云岩。白云石中近30个流体包裹体的初熔温度为-56.3~-56.9 ℃,指示该气相气体应该为CO2。水合物熔化温度为7.9~8.9 ℃,部分相均一温度为24.9~30.7 ℃,在加温过程中大部分样品均一到液相,少部分样品均一到气相,在加温的过程中几乎所有的包裹体到达部分相均一温度以后就发生了爆裂,均未测到完全均一温度,表明其内压较高。盐度为2.2%~4.1%,密度为0.560~0.704 g/cm3。但据Qin[2]测得此类包裹体的完全均一温度为310~325 ℃,说明是火成碳酸岩成因。白云石中还存在液体包裹体,其完全均一温度为85~155 ℃。张琦玲等[3]对磁铁白云岩中白云石进行流体包裹体测试,其完全均一温度为167~175 ℃,认为白云岩与岩浆作用有关。详细结果见表5
(2)稀土白云岩。根据氟碳铈矿的流体包裹体测温结果,表明其冰点温度在零下6.4~7.1 ℃之间,经过加温后所有包裹体均达到完全均一温度,其范围在265.4~285.6 ℃,根据冰点温度计算它们的盐度,盐度范围为9.7%~10.6%。据Smith[4]对氟碳铈矿中流体包裹体的测温结果表明,其完全均一温度为269~340 ℃,盐度为6.8%~10.6%,与本项目测试结果相近,具体结果见表6
通过对世界上独一无二的白云鄂博超大型铁、稀土、铌矿床的剖析,对比研究国内外典型稀土矿床,综合分析了成矿控制因素,利用地表地质调查、地质统计学、原位LA-ICP-MS微量元素分析、最新深部钻孔资料岩相学分析、流体包裹体研究资料,特别是从铁、稀土、铌成矿关系的角度,依据矿床地球化学、流体地质学方面的证据,重新厘定了白云鄂博矿床成因模式,认为含矿白云岩是岩浆碳酸岩成因,在成岩成矿后,又经历了多期热液蚀变和交代作用,形成了今天的白云鄂博矿床。该成果对白云鄂博铁矿找矿预测方面具有重要指导作用,认为还是要以白云鄂博现有矿山为中心,预测的重点区域包括主东矿结合部、东介勒格勒的南部及东南部、西矿南侧及西南侧等地区。
