In the paper, the production technology and technological improvement for 500 MPa cold stamping automobile axle housing steel plate are elaborated, the chemical components of Nb, Ti, Cr and Mo as main strengthening elements are designed as well as a series of whole production technology including smelting, continuous casting, heating, rolling and cooling is formulated. The steel plate is with such comprehensive properties as high strength and ductility and toughness, complex cold stamping without cracking as well as small thickness fluctuation on one plate and anisotropy. Its production technology is mature and stable so that the probability of cracking in cold stamping process is greatly reduced, which could meet the technical requirements of automobile axle housing steel and the processing cost is reduced.

In the paper, the production technology and technological improvement for 500 MPa cold stamping automobile axle housing steel plate are elaborated, the chemical components of Nb, Ti, Cr and Mo as main strengthening elements are designed as well as a series of whole production technology including smelting, continuous casting, heating, rolling and cooling is formulated. The steel plate is with such comprehensive properties as high strength and ductility and toughness, complex cold stamping without cracking as well as small thickness fluctuation on one plate and anisotropy. Its production technology is mature and stable so that the probability of cracking in cold stamping process is greatly reduced, which could meet the technical requirements of automobile axle housing steel and the processing cost is reduced.

轻量化是汽车技术的主要发展方向,桥壳是支承车架及车架后部各总成重量的重要部件,其形状及结构特点要求钢板强度高、冷弯及拉延成形性好。目前只有日本和德国有专用桥壳钢牌号,而国内桥壳制造行业多采用铸造件、无缝管或用热压355QK和460QK钢板[1],存在着成形性能差、废品率高、产品质量不稳定、加工成本高和热压强度损失等问题,本研究是基于以上因素开发的一种具有强度高、塑韧性高、冷冲压变形复杂件不开裂和同板差小及各向异性小等综合特性优异的宽厚钢板,助力汽车行业轻量化发展,同时实现加工成本降低,是目前行业较先进的冷冲压汽车桥壳用钢。
(1)尺寸偏差。厚度12.2 mm,偏差±0.2 mm。
(2)钢板不平度不大于7 mm/m。
(3)力学性能应符合表1规定。
(4)晶粒度。钢板的铁素体晶粒度不得小于10级。
(5)非金属夹杂物。钢材应按GB 10561—2005标准[2]检验非金属夹杂物,各类非金属夹杂物评级不大于1.5级,且所有类型非金属夹杂物评级总和不得超过3级。
(6)表面质量。钢板表面不应有裂纹、结疤、气泡和夹杂等有害缺陷,钢板不应有分层。
500 MPa冷压桥壳钢化学成分的设计要有利于提高钢板厚度方向组织均匀性、冷塑性能,降低有害元素及易发生夹杂物元素的含量,并按窄成分控制,保障钢板性能波动小。500 MPa冷压桥壳钢板的化学成分设计如表2所示。
按照包钢宽厚板生产线装备特点及兼顾优良的综合力学性能,工艺路线设计为:KR脱硫扒渣→210 t顶底复吹转炉→LF炉精炼→RH炉精炼→板坯连铸→冷板坯再加热→双机架四辊可逆轧机轧制→ACC冷却及热矫→剪切→取样检验。
500 MPa冷压桥壳钢板的化学成分设计对有害气体氧、氮、氢等有较为严格的要求,为了最大限度降低钢中氧、氮、氢等有害气体含量,在现有RH蒸气管道入口处,增加了RH蒸气预热装置,提高真空系统处理能力,达到快速带走钢中氮、氢等气体的目的。同时,对RH真空槽浸渍管环流气管的布置方式进行了优化,将原来单一平面的12支环流气管分布方式,改变为上下6支交叉的环流管分布方式,改变环流驱动气体的流场,提高环流气体的流动性,提高循环速度,从而实现快速脱气的目的。
上述两项措施实施后,钢水中有害气体含量下降明显,钢水中平均氢含量降低了0.4×10-6,如图1所示,平均氮含量降低了13×10-6,如图2所示。
在非金属夹杂物方面,500 MPa冷压桥壳钢不仅要求夹杂物含量低,而且要求控制夹杂物的形态、组成以及尺寸,所以保证钢水纯净度是获得高性能桥壳钢的基础。去除钢中夹杂物分三个阶段,从脱氧夹杂物的形成起,到传输至钢渣界面,最后在粘性力、界面张力的作用下进入炉渣[3]。因此,控制好夹杂物的形成、传输、去除就可以有效的降低夹杂物含量。
500 MPa冷压桥壳用钢对板坯的质量要求尤为严格,低倍偏析达到C1.0级,疏松至少要达到1.5级。连铸轻压下技术可以显著地降低甚至消除连铸坯的中心偏析与疏松,在现有宽厚板连铸技术基础上,主要考虑从动态轻压下和比水量方面进行突破。
连铸工序需要根据现场实际情况控制合适的压下量。压下区间一般要求在铸坯凝固末端控制合适的固相率范围。当固相率fs小于30%时疏松和偏析几乎没有发生,如果此时收缩辊缝反而容易漏钢或产生鼓肚,增加内部裂纹产生;当fs大于70%时固液两相区已基本不流动,偏析不再发生,轻压下起不到相应作用。因此,轻压下区间fs控制在30%~70%之间比较合适[4]。拉速越低对偏析的抑制越有好处,但拉速过低会影响生产节奏,铸机运行不经济,因此铸机拉速控制在1.0~1.2 m/min的范围内是较为合理的。
调节二冷比水量也是改善铸坯质量的重要手段。在铸机工序调整各在线扇形段之间对弧精度均小于0.5 mm,通过统计56炉次低碳钢铸坯不同二冷比水量对铸坯中心偏析影响的样本,得出在相同拉速、相同过热度、不同二冷比水量对铸坯中心C偏析的影响,见图3。二冷比水量增加到0.8 L/kg时,C偏析的指数最低,同时低倍检验发现铸坯的等轴晶比例最高,说明该比水量下铸坯液相穴末端与轻压下扇形段精确吻合,铸坯中心偏析得到有效改善。
通过以上两项关键技术优化后,铸坯的固相率提高到70%以上,负偏析白亮带变宽且不再致密,有效减轻了铸坯的负偏析问题。生产试制的500 MPa冷压桥壳钢显微组织及夹杂物等级见表3。显微组织为粒状贝氏体、珠光体和铁素体,晶粒度为12级,带状组织为0.5~1.0级,夹杂物均不大于1.0级,即钢板的显微组织、晶粒度、带状组织、夹杂物均符合GB 1056—2005标准要求[2]
本次500 MPa冷压桥壳用钢试制厚度为12.2 mm,采用的板坯厚度为250 mm。根据钢中Nb、C的含量计算NbC完全熔解温度为1 123 ℃,根据钢板厚度及宽度规格的轧制变形及钢板表面质量要求,将板坯出炉温度控制在(1 220±20) ℃范围内。为保证板坯在加热炉中温度均匀,要求板坯的均热时间不少于40 min。
技术要求钢板厚度同板差要控制在±0.2 mm以内,影响钢板厚度精度的主要因素是轧机刚度和轧制力,在设备建成后,轧机刚度基本是固定的,因此,要提高钢板的厚度控制精度,只能从控制轧制力入手。影响轧制力均匀性的因素有三:
(1)轧件温度、成分和组织性能的均匀性。
(2)坯料原始厚度的均匀性。
(3)轧制速度的均匀性。
轧制力对厚度具有决定性的影响,厚度精度除了受上面的三个因素影响外,还与本道次的轧制力大小有关。本道次轧制力越小,各种因素导致的轧制力偏差自然也就越小,轧出来的钢板厚度差越小,钢板厚度精度越高。为了提高钢板的厚度精度,在道次分配时,需要减小末道次的压下量,进而减小轧制力[5]。500 MPa冷压桥壳用钢板的最终厚度都在(12.2±0.2) mm范围内,满足技术要求,如图4所示。
500 MPa冷压桥壳用钢对板形也有严格要求,钢板不平度要不大于7 mm/m。要控制好板形,首先要控制好钢板的凸度,轧制时钢板不能出现双边浪和中浪。为了有效控制钢板凸度,精轧机在试制前更换了新工作辊,同时安排了12块相同规格、性能接近的其他钢种作为过渡,根据过渡钢板的板形情况及时调整CVC窜动量和弯辊力,以使钢板凸度满足要求。为保证钢板板形,热矫直机需要矫直三遍。试制钢板实测不平度为4 mm/m,完全满足技术协议要求。
厚度12.2 mm钢板各点厚度都满足技术协议±0.20 mm范围要求,具体实测值如表4所示。
包钢开发的500 MPa冷压汽车桥壳钢各项性能达到陕汽协议要求和窄强度范围控制目标要求,采用横、纵向混合的轧制变形工艺,产品横纵向性能差异性更小,具有更好的冷成形性能和各向异性,具体性能如表5所示,实物应用效果如图5所示,冷弯对折如图6所示。
为进一步评价冷压汽车桥壳用钢的冲压韧性,进行了低温落锤撕裂和冲击试验,并对断口进行分析。图7图8为500 MPa冷压汽车桥壳钢低温落锤和冲击断口形貌图。
韧性是决定冷压性能的重要指标。经检测,500 MPa冷压汽车桥壳钢-10 ℃低温落锤韧性占比为96%、97%,-40 ℃冲击剪切面积为99%、100%、100%,充分满足技术协议要求。本次研发的500 MPa冷压汽车桥壳钢具有优越的低温韧性,厚度方向亦未发现分层现象,电镜扫描为韧性断口,说明其组织均匀,极大程度降低了冷冲压成形过程中的开裂几率。
(1)包钢开发的500 MPa冷压汽车桥壳宽厚钢板厚度精度、不平度、晶粒度等技术指标均满足技术协议要求。
(2)包钢开发的500 MPa冷压汽车桥壳钢各项力学性能达到陕汽协议要求和窄屈服强度520~550 MPa目标要求。
(3)轧制过程采用横纵向混合的轧制变形工艺,产品横、纵向性能差异小,具有更好的冷成形性能和各向异性。
(4)宽厚板冷压桥壳钢板具有优异的韧性、延展性能和冷冲压成形特性。
