The basicity is an important chemical index of blast furnace slag and it plays a decisive role in the trouble-free operations of blast furnace ironmaking. In this paper, the effects of basicity on rheological behavior of blast furnace slag of Baotou Steel are studied under N2 atmosphere with slag specimen prepared by pure chemical reagent based on the slag of 4# blast furnace of Baotou Steel. Moreover, the rules of melting behavior for blast furnace slag with basicity of slag changes are analyzed. The results showed that the melting temperature, viscosity and activation energy of viscous fluid flow of blast furnace slag of Baotou Steel were first decreased and then increased as well as fluidity and thermal stability of slag became better first and then worse when basicity of slag was increased from 1.00 to 1.30. With the basicity of slag increases, the softening temperature, hemispherical temperature and flow temperature of blast furnace slag tend to be increased, which are conducive to moving down of softening zone of blast furnace in the process of ironmaking and promoting development of indirect reduction in blast furnace. It is suggested that the basicity of blast furnace slag of Baotou Steel should be controlled within the range of 1.10~1.20 through overall consideration of the effect laws of basicity of slag on viscous and melting behaviors of blast furnace slag of Baotou Steel.

碱度是高炉渣重要的化学指标,对高炉炼铁稳定顺行起决定性作用。文章以包钢4#高炉渣为基础,采用纯化学试剂配制渣样,在N2气氛下研究了碱度对包钢高炉渣流变特性的影响,同时分析了包钢高炉渣熔化性能随炉渣碱度的变化规律。结果表明,炉渣碱度由1.00升高至1.30,包钢高炉渣熔化性温度、黏度及黏流活化能均呈先降低后升高的趋势,炉渣流动性和热稳定性先变好后变差。随着炉渣碱度升高,包钢高炉渣软化温度、半球温度及流淌温度呈升高的趋势,有利于炼铁过程高炉软熔带位置下移,促进高炉内间接还原的发展。综合考虑炉渣碱度对包钢高炉渣流变特性和熔化性能的影响规律,建议包钢高炉渣碱度控制范围为1.10~1.20。

碱度是高炉渣重要的化学指标,对高炉炼铁稳定顺行起决定性作用。文章以包钢4#高炉渣为基础,采用纯化学试剂配制渣样,在N2气氛下研究了碱度对包钢高炉渣流变特性的影响,同时分析了包钢高炉渣熔化性能随炉渣碱度的变化规律。结果表明,炉渣碱度由1.00升高至1.30,包钢高炉渣熔化性温度、黏度及黏流活化能均呈先降低后升高的趋势,炉渣流动性和热稳定性先变好后变差。随着炉渣碱度升高,包钢高炉渣软化温度、半球温度及流淌温度呈升高的趋势,有利于炼铁过程高炉软熔带位置下移,促进高炉内间接还原的发展。综合考虑炉渣碱度对包钢高炉渣流变特性和熔化性能的影响规律,建议包钢高炉渣碱度控制范围为1.10~1.20。

The basicity is an important chemical index of blast furnace slag and it plays a decisive role in the trouble-free operations of blast furnace ironmaking. In this paper, the effects of basicity on rheological behavior of blast furnace slag of Baotou Steel are studied under N2 atmosphere with slag specimen prepared by pure chemical reagent based on the slag of 4# blast furnace of Baotou Steel. Moreover, the rules of melting behavior for blast furnace slag with basicity of slag changes are analyzed. The results showed that the melting temperature, viscosity and activation energy of viscous fluid flow of blast furnace slag of Baotou Steel were first decreased and then increased as well as fluidity and thermal stability of slag became better first and then worse when basicity of slag was increased from 1.00 to 1.30. With the basicity of slag increases, the softening temperature, hemispherical temperature and flow temperature of blast furnace slag tend to be increased, which are conducive to moving down of softening zone of blast furnace in the process of ironmaking and promoting development of indirect reduction in blast furnace. It is suggested that the basicity of blast furnace slag of Baotou Steel should be controlled within the range of 1.10~1.20 through overall consideration of the effect laws of basicity of slag on viscous and melting behaviors of blast furnace slag of Baotou Steel.

白云鄂博矿是一种典型的多金属元素共生铁矿,除铁元素外,还富含铌、稀土、钾、钠、氟等元素[1],是包钢高炉炼铁主要用矿。近些年,随着包钢高炉炼铁工艺技术的革新、自产白云鄂博铁精矿入炉比例的变化以及烧结、球团工序配矿种类的增多[2-4],包钢高炉炼铁原燃料条件发生了明显变化,使用白云鄂博矿的包钢高炉渣化学成分与冶金性能也随之变化。造渣制度作为高炉炼铁四大基本操作制度之一,其在高炉生产过程中扮演重要角色[5],高炉渣流变特性及熔化性能直接决定渣金间的传质、传热效率,影响高炉生产的稳定顺行和能耗、生铁质量、生铁成本等[6]。因此,依据包钢炼铁自身原燃料条件及高炉工艺技术发展方向,开展使用白云鄂博矿高炉渣流变特性及熔化性能的研究,对实现包钢高炉生产效率最大化意义重大。
碱度是高炉渣重要的化学指标,升高碱度在一定程度上有利于提高高炉渣脱硫能力和促进高炉长期稳定顺行,得到包钢炼铁生产技术人员及科研人员的密切关注。但随着包钢高炉原燃料条件的变化和炼铁工艺技术的进步,包钢高炉渣适宜的碱度控制范围及炉渣碱度对高炉渣系流变特性和熔化性能的影响需进一步研究,因此,亟待探索分析炉渣碱度对包钢高炉渣流变特性和熔化性能的影响规律,并确定适宜的炉渣碱度控制范围。
以包钢4#高炉渣为基础,按照实验方案采用纯化学试剂配制实验渣样,包钢4#高炉渣化学成分如表1所示,实验方案如表2所示。本研究在固定高炉渣其他组元含量在一定水平条件下,运用单因素实验方法分析碱度对包钢高炉渣流变特性及熔化性能的影响,高炉渣碱度变化范围为1.00~1.30。
为提高实验准确性,在配制渣样前,对实验用包钢4#高炉炉渣进行烘干、破碎、细磨处理。同时,将CaO、SiO2、MgO、Al2O3、TiO2纯化学试剂置于马弗炉在1 000 ℃条件下焙烧1 h以消除化学试剂中水分对制备实验渣样的影响。将细磨后的包钢4#高炉渣和焙烧处理的纯化学试剂按一定比例混匀,而后将混匀样置于石墨坩埚中进行预熔,预熔温度为1 500 ℃,预熔时间为30 min。渣样熔化且化学成分均匀后,结束高温电阻炉恒温,配制的高炉渣随炉冷却至室温。对获得的高炉渣样进行破碎、细磨处理,炉渣粒度小于0.074 mm,随后用于炉渣流变特性和熔化性能的测试分析。
运用鞍山科翔设备商开发的RTW-2010型熔体物性综合测定仪分析高炉渣的流变特性,实验装置示意图如图1所示。实验过程中,首先称取170 g目标渣样置于特定石墨坩埚中,而后将盛有实验渣样的石墨坩埚放于测试设备的恒温区,并升温至1 500 ℃。待实验渣样完全熔化且成分均匀后,调整实验设备测试位置,将钼测头缓慢地放置于熔体中心,连接钼测头的刚玉细杆挂置于实验设备扭矩传感器。实验信号稳定后,开始降温测试炉渣黏度,降温速率为3 ℃/min。当炉渣黏度急剧增长且数值达到1.50 Pa·s左右时,结束测量,最终获得不同碱度高炉渣的黏度-温度(η-t)曲线,而后分析碱度对包钢高炉渣熔化性温度、黏度、黏流活化能的影响。
运用熔点熔速仪分析不同碱度高炉渣的熔化性能,实验装置示意图如图2所示。实验过程中,称取一定量的目标渣样放置于熔点熔速仪制样模具中,而后压制成型。将压制成型的样品置于熔点熔速仪相应的测试位置,并开启升温程序和摄像程序。随着温度的不断升高,实验样品依次出现变形、坍塌和流淌状态,分别记录炉渣熔化性能各特定指标对应的温度值以获取不同碱度高炉渣软化温度、半球温度和流淌温度。同时,选取FToxid数据库,采用Factsage8.2热力学软件Phase Diagram模块计算渣系相图,对高炉渣的熔化性能进行机理分析。
不同碱度高炉渣黏度-温度(η-t)曲线如图3所示。由图3可见,随着温度降低,包钢高炉渣黏度呈升高趋势,且各炉渣η-t曲线上存在一个拐点。当炉渣温度高于拐点温度时,炉渣黏度随温度变化较为缓慢,炉渣流动性和热稳定性较好。当炉渣温度低于拐点温度时,炉渣黏度增长迅速,在较小温度变化范围内,黏度可达到1.50 Pa·s,炉渣流动性和稳定性变差。高炉渣η-t曲线上的拐点温度为炉渣熔化性温度(break point temperature,以下简写为tBP),其可表征高炉渣在高温条件下自由流动的临界温度,是熔渣的一个重要流变特性指标[7]。通常,将高炉渣η-t曲线与横坐标成135°斜线相切点对应的温度定义为炉渣的熔化性温度[8]
根据炉渣熔化性温度的定义,不同碱度高炉渣tBP图4所示。由图4可见,当碱度由1.00升高至1.30,包钢高炉渣tBP呈先降低后升高的趋势。炉渣碱度为1.20时,tBP达最低值,为1 358 ℃。
经实验分析,碱度对包钢高炉渣系黏度的影响如图5所示。由图5可知,炉渣碱度由1.00升高至1.30,包钢高炉渣黏度呈先降低后升高的趋势。炉渣碱度为1.10~1.20时,包钢高炉渣黏度变化不大,处于较低水平,炉渣流动性较好。
依据分子与离子共存理论,碱性高炉渣物相组成及其熔融态时熔渣中复杂黏滞流动单元的聚合程度共同决定碱性高炉渣流动性[9-10]。CaO为一种典型的碱性氧化物,其在高温下形成的自由O2-可解聚熔渣中复杂黏滞流动单元,如[SixOy]z-、[AlO4]5-、Si—O—Al,使复杂黏滞流动单元转变为简单黏滞流动单元,从而简化熔渣离子结构[11]。此时,随着炉渣碱度升高,炉渣黏度降低,流动性得到改善。但是,当炉渣碱度增加到一定程度后,CaO对熔渣中复杂黏滞流动单元的解聚作用减弱,而渣中易形成一些高熔点的物相,如Ca2SiO4(熔点为2 130 ℃),在高温下易导致熔渣非均质化,反而升高了炉渣黏度,恶化了渣系流动性[12]。此时,随炉渣碱度升高,高炉渣黏度呈升高趋势。
黏流活化能是高炉渣的一个重要流变特性指标,可反映炉渣黏度对温度的敏感性,即炉渣热稳定性[13]。黏流活化能越高,温度对炉渣黏度的影响越大,炉渣热稳定性越差。
通常,高炉渣黏流活化能可通过炉渣温度高于熔化性温度时的黏度数据和阿伦尼乌斯黏度公式进行拟合计算获得[8],具体步骤为:①对公式(1)阿伦尼乌斯黏度公式两边取对数,得变形公式(2);②代入实验数据并按照ln(η/T)-1/T作图,进行线性回归处理,斜率与R的乘积即渣系黏流活化能。

式中,η为炉渣黏度,Pa·s;T为热力学温度,K;A为频率因子;Eη为黏流活化能,J/mol;R为气体常数,8.314 J/(mol·K)。
不同碱度高炉渣ln(η/T)与1/T线性拟合结果如图6所示。由图6可见,不同碱度高炉渣ln(η/T)与1/T呈高度线性关系,线性拟合度r高于0.99,表明高温实验过程中,高炉渣黏度与温度紧密遵从阿伦尼乌斯黏度公式,熔渣呈牛顿流体特性[8]。不同碱度高炉渣黏流活化能如图7所示。由图7可见,碱度对包钢高炉渣黏流活化能的影响与黏度一致。当碱度从1.00升高至1.30,包钢高炉渣黏流活化能呈先降低后升高趋势。炉渣碱度为1.20时,炉渣黏流活化能最低,为191.95 kJ/mol,炉渣热稳定性最好。
碱度对包钢高炉渣熔化性能的影响如图8所示。由图8可见,炉渣碱度升高,包钢高炉渣软化温度、半球温度及流淌温度呈升高的趋势,从而有利于炼铁过程高炉软熔带位置下移,促进高炉内间接还原的发展,提高煤气利用率。
为明确炉渣碱度对包钢高炉渣熔化性能的影响机制,运用Factsage 8.2热力学软件Phase Diagram模块(选取数据库为FToxid),计算CaO-SiO2-MgO-11.41%Al2O3-1.15%TiO2五元渣系相图,并标注不同碱度高炉渣成分点以分析其液相线温度,如图9所示。可见,当炉渣碱度由1.00升高至1.30,包钢高炉渣成分点由黄长石初晶区向高熔点物相Ca2SiO4的初晶区过渡,炉渣液相线温度呈升高趋势,分别为1 372.10 ℃、1 378.76 ℃、1 384.25 ℃、1 388.63 ℃、1 399.27 ℃、1 410.43 ℃、1 479.98 ℃,高炉渣呈现难熔化的特点,从而使包钢高炉渣变形温度、半球温度及流淌温度呈升高的趋势。
综合考虑炉渣碱度对包钢高炉渣流变特性(熔化性温度、黏度、黏流活化能)和熔化性能(软化温度、半球温度、流淌温度)的影响规律以及高碱度不利于炉渣排碱的特性,建议包钢高炉渣碱度控制范围为1.10~1.20。
(1)炉渣碱度由1.00升高至1.30,包钢高炉渣熔化性温度、黏度及黏流活化能均呈先降低后升高的趋势,炉渣流动性和热稳定性先变好后变差。
(2)炉渣碱度由1.00升高至1.30,包钢高炉渣软化温度、半球温度及流淌温度呈升高的趋势,有利于炼铁过程高炉软熔带位置下移,促进高炉内间接还原的发展。
(3)综合考虑炉渣碱度对包钢高炉渣流变特性和熔化性能的影响规律,建议包钢高炉渣碱度控制范围为1.10~1.20。
