In order to relieve the environmental pressure caused by a large amount of waste in the process of smelting rare earth, the experimental study on beneficiation of high grade rare earth ore concentrate of Bayan Obo is carried out. The sodium silicate is as inhibitor, reagent of hydroximic acid is as collecting agent and 2# oil is as foaming agent as well as the closed circuit experiment process of “one time of rougher flotation and four times of concentrations” is adopted in the flotation test of rare earth. As a result, the rare earth ore concentrate with grade of 62.79% and recovery rate of 84.73% is obtained, which lays a good foundation of raw material for subsequent clean productions.

为了缓解稀土冶炼过程中产生大量废弃物造成的环境压力,进行了白云鄂博高品位稀土精矿的选矿试验研究。稀土浮选试验以水玻璃为抑制剂,羟肟酸类药剂为捕收剂,2#油为起泡剂,采用一粗四精闭路试验流程,获得了品位为62.79%、回收率为84.73%的稀土精矿,为后续清洁生产奠定了良好的原料基础。

In order to relieve the environmental pressure caused by a large amount of waste in the process of smelting rare earth, the experimental study on beneficiation of high grade rare earth ore concentrate of Bayan Obo is carried out. The sodium silicate is as inhibitor, reagent of hydroximic acid is as collecting agent and 2# oil is as foaming agent as well as the closed circuit experiment process of “one time of rougher flotation and four times of concentrations” is adopted in the flotation test of rare earth. As a result, the rare earth ore concentrate with grade of 62.79% and recovery rate of 84.73% is obtained, which lays a good foundation of raw material for subsequent clean productions.

矿物分选的主要方法有浮选、磁选、电选及重选四种。矿物介电常数是电选的依据,矿物可浮性差异是浮选的依据,矿物密度的差异是重选的依据,矿物的比磁化系数是磁选的依据。目前在选矿厂,磁选法和浮选法是稀土选矿最适用的方法。对于稀土矿物与脉石矿物的分离,最常用且最有效的方法是浮选。稀土矿物是混合矿物,主要脉石矿物有铁、萤石、硅酸盐、重晶石等矿物[1],由于这些矿物的物理化学性质类似,可以通过浮选药剂的添加来改变矿物的可浮性。
白云鄂博矿稀土浮选工艺以白云鄂博原矿选铁流程生产的磁选尾矿为原料,采用“一粗两精”浮选流程生产REO含量为50%的稀土精矿[2-3]。稀土冶炼企业多采用浓硫酸高温焙烧稀土精矿生产稀土产品,由于稀土精矿中含有大量杂质元素,增加了焙烧工艺中原辅材料消耗和三废产出,产生大量含氟含硫烟气、冶炼废水和水浸渣[4]。为了减少冶炼过程中原辅材料的消耗,降低冶炼成本,减少污染物排放,实现稀土冶炼清洁生产,亟需生产高品位稀土精矿[5]
试验所用矿样为宝山矿业公司选铁尾矿,其主要化学成分见表1
表1可知,原矿中稀土品位为10.08%,主要杂质CaO含量占25.96%,全铁含量为10.32%,CaF2含量为29.86%,SiO2含量为12.01%,P含量为1.59%,因此在分选过程中要考虑磷灰石、萤石、方解石等矿物的抑制作用。
采用200目、325目、400目、500目标准筛对试验矿样进行筛析,其对应的粒度分别为0.074 mm、0.045 mm、0.028 mm,共分为四个粒级,并检测各粒级试样的REO含量,筛析结果见表2
表2可知,原矿中<0.074 mm粒级含量占80.22%,粒度较粗,且随着粒度变细,稀土占有率逐渐增加,稀土矿物主要集中于<0.028 mm粒级。
试验所用设备和药剂见表3表4
本试验所用抑制剂为吉林省探矿机械厂生产的分析纯水玻璃,作为浮选非目的矿物即脉石矿物的抑制剂,配制浓度为5%。采用湖北巨胜科技有限公司生产的分析纯水杨羟肟酸及苯甲羟肟酸按照一定配比混合后作为此次浮选试验的捕收剂,每5 g捕收剂加0.1 g氢氧化钠皂化配制而成,浓度为5%。2#油作为目标矿物的起泡剂。2#油工业品为100%原液。
将混匀后的原矿矿样进行工艺矿物学分析,包括矿物组成、多元素分析。确定矿石的化学成分、元素类型、嵌布粒度、矿物类型及共生关系等基本矿物信息。根据化验结果确定了磨矿-正浮选法分离稀土的工艺流程。
因矿样粒度较粗,对原矿进行塔磨机磨矿-浮选试验,确定最佳磨矿时间。磨矿时间分别为1 min、2 min、3 min、4 min、5 min,试验结果见表5
表5试验结果可以看出,随着磨矿时间的增加,<0.074 mm粒级含量逐渐增加,稀土精矿的品位及回收率呈先上升后下降的趋势。当<0.074 mm粒级含量达到90.58%时,稀土品位为21.36%,回收率达到92.00%。随着粒度逐渐变细,<0.074 mm粒级大于95.26%之后,稀土精矿的品位及回收率反而开始下降。
综合考虑稀土品位及回收率,选择磨矿时间为3 min。通过分析可知,随着磨矿时间的增加,稀土解离度增加,因此精矿品位及回收率均提高,但随着磨矿时间的加长,产生了过磨现象,过细颗粒发生了泥化,细粒矿物吸附于精矿颗粒上浮,影响浮选效果,因此导致品位降低。
在稀土浮选试验过程中,水玻璃作为抑制剂除了可以降低脉石矿物的表面活性,增强浮选效果,同时也是良好的分散剂,起到分散矿泥的作用,优化浮选环境。
抑制剂采用水玻璃,磨矿时间为3 min,矿浆浓度为45%,温度为55 ℃,捕收剂用量为1.0 kg/t,2#油用量为0.1 kg/t,浮选时间为5 min,考察抑制剂用量对浮选结果的影响。抑制剂用量条件试验结果见表6
表6抑制剂用量条件试验结果可知,随着抑制剂水玻璃用量的增加,稀土品位逐渐升高,稀土回收率随之降低。当水玻璃用量高于0.70 kg/t时,稀土精矿品位增加幅度变小,而回收率开始大幅下降。这是因为水玻璃对硅酸盐类矿物有很强的抑制作用,水玻璃用量小时有选择性,用量大时选择性会大幅降低,综合考虑,选择最佳抑制剂用量为0.70 kg/t。
捕收剂采用水杨羟肟酸和苯甲羟肟酸按7∶3的比例配比,矿浆浓度为45%,温度为55 ℃,水玻璃用量为0.70 kg/t,2#油用量为0.1 kg/t,浮选时间为5 min,考察捕收剂用量对浮选结果的影响。捕收剂用量条件试验结果见表7
表7可知,随着捕收剂用量的增加,稀土品位、回收率都呈先上升后下降趋势。当捕收剂用量高于0.95 kg/t时,易浮矿物大量上浮,稀土品位和回收率开始大幅度降低,综合考虑,捕收剂用量选择0.95 kg/t。
矿浆浓度在浮选试验中对于试验结果的影响非常大,矿浆浓度的大小直接影响浮选药剂与试验矿样接触反应的几率,从而对试验效果产生影响。因此,选取合适的矿浆浓度对矿物分选具有重要意义。
抑制剂用量为0.70 kg/t,捕收剂用量为0.95 kg/t,2#油用量为0.1 kg/t,浮选时间5 min,考察矿浆浓度对稀土浮选效果的影响,矿浆浓度条件试验结果见表8
表8可知,随着矿浆浓度增加,稀土精矿品位逐渐升高,回收率逐渐降低,矿浆浓度超过55%时,稀土品位变化不大,回收率大幅降低。综合考虑,浮选浓度选择55%。
通过条件试验确定了最佳试验条件后,在开路试验流程的基础上进行了闭路试验。闭路试验流程图见图1,试验结果见表9
表9可知,以水玻璃为抑制剂(用量为0.70 kg/t),水杨羟肟酸与苯甲羟肟酸7∶3混合药剂为捕收剂(用量为0.95 kg/t),2#油为起泡剂(用量为0.1 kg/t),原矿经一次粗选四次精选作业后,中矿一、中矿二抛尾,中矿三、中矿四返回粗选工艺,最终获得了精矿品位为62.79%、精矿回收率为84.73%的稀土精矿。
(1)通过条件试验确定了该矿物浮选的最佳浮选条件:磨矿时间为3 min,矿浆浓度为55%,温度为55 ℃,水玻璃用量为0.70 kg/t,捕收剂用量为0.95 kg/t,2#油用量为0.1 kg/t,浮选时间为5 min。
(3)采用一粗四精、中矿返回浮选工艺流程,获得了稀土品位为62.79%、回收率为 84.73%的高品位稀土精矿。
