The flotation process is the main method for removing impurity element fluorine in magnetic iron ore of Bayan Obo. The indicators and productivity of flotation operation can be effectively improved by reasonably selecting process flow of flotation. The existing flotation process is analyzed aiming at such problems as high iron grade and low productivity of flotation tailings as well as high consumption of reagent for flotation operation of magnetic iron ore of Bayan Obo. It is found that the gap between iron grades of foam in the first and second stages of rougher flotation is great, the iron grade of foam in the first stage is lower than that of flotation tailings, and then it is mixed with foam in the second stage to enter operation of scavenging so that the iron grade of flotation tailings is high and productivity of flotation is low. The foam in the first stage of roughing for flotation is directly with discarding tailings and conditions of flotation operation are reoptimized. In actual production, the iron grade of flotation tailings is decreased by 5.34 percentage points and productivity of flotation concentrate is increased by 6.16 percentage points after improving the process.

浮选工艺是去除白云鄂博磁铁矿中杂质氟的主要方法,合理选择浮选工艺流程可以有效改善浮选作业指标,提高浮选产率。针对白云鄂博磁铁矿浮选作业浮尾铁品位高、产率低、药剂消耗高等问题,对现有浮选工艺进行分析,发现粗选一、二段泡沫铁品位差距大,一段泡沫铁品位已低于浮选尾矿的铁品位,再与二段泡沫混合进入扫选作业,造成浮选尾矿铁品位高,浮选产率低。将浮选的粗选一段泡沫直接抛尾,重新优化浮选作业条件。工艺改进后,在实际生产中,浮选尾矿铁品位降低了5.34个百分点,浮选精矿产率提高了6.16个百分点。

浮选工艺是去除白云鄂博磁铁矿中杂质氟的主要方法,合理选择浮选工艺流程可以有效改善浮选作业指标,提高浮选产率。针对白云鄂博磁铁矿浮选作业浮尾铁品位高、产率低、药剂消耗高等问题,对现有浮选工艺进行分析,发现粗选一、二段泡沫铁品位差距大,一段泡沫铁品位已低于浮选尾矿的铁品位,再与二段泡沫混合进入扫选作业,造成浮选尾矿铁品位高,浮选产率低。将浮选的粗选一段泡沫直接抛尾,重新优化浮选作业条件。工艺改进后,在实际生产中,浮选尾矿铁品位降低了5.34个百分点,浮选精矿产率提高了6.16个百分点。

The flotation process is the main method for removing impurity element fluorine in magnetic iron ore of Bayan Obo. The indicators and productivity of flotation operation can be effectively improved by reasonably selecting process flow of flotation. The existing flotation process is analyzed aiming at such problems as high iron grade and low productivity of flotation tailings as well as high consumption of reagent for flotation operation of magnetic iron ore of Bayan Obo. It is found that the gap between iron grades of foam in the first and second stages of rougher flotation is great, the iron grade of foam in the first stage is lower than that of flotation tailings, and then it is mixed with foam in the second stage to enter operation of scavenging so that the iron grade of flotation tailings is high and productivity of flotation is low. The foam in the first stage of roughing for flotation is directly with discarding tailings and conditions of flotation operation are reoptimized. In actual production, the iron grade of flotation tailings is decreased by 5.34 percentage points and productivity of flotation concentrate is increased by 6.16 percentage points after improving the process.

白云鄂博铁矿的特点是矿石类型复杂,多金属共生矿石及难选矿石多,且矿物嵌布粒度细,选矿难度大,其中选铁过程去除杂质氟的有效措施是浮选。宝山矿业公司有4套脱氟浮选设备,年处理白云鄂博磁铁矿480万t。2023年对其中一套浮选设备进行了更新升级,运转后浮选尾矿铁品位较高,导致浮选精矿产率一直偏低。统计2024年2至3月份生产指标,浮尾的铁品位平均在37%左右,大于35%的占比在69.26%,大于38%的占比在33.76%,浮选精矿产率仅为70%左右,造成了极大的金属流失,同时导致药剂、蒸汽等单耗升高,制造成本增加。
白云鄂博磁铁矿经过破碎、磨矿、磁选后得到粒度<0.074 mm含量达90%、铁品位约60%、杂质氟含量约为2.5%的磁选精矿,磁选精矿作为浮选给矿经过粗选后,粗选沉砂铁品位大于65.5%,杂质氟含量小于0.45%,浮选精矿质量指标合格。粗选泡沫给入一次扫选,一次扫选泡沫给入二次扫选,一次、二次扫选沉砂合并返回至浮选给矿,二次泡沫为浮选尾矿[1]。粗选作业由6台50 m3浮选机完成,分为两段,中间设有闸门室,一次扫选由3台50 m3浮选机完成,二次扫选由6台20 m3浮选机完成,设备联系图如图1所示。
宝山矿业公司选铁工艺流程为破碎→磨矿→弱磁选→浮选,最终获得铁品位大于65.5%、杂质氟含量小于0.45%的铁精矿。2023年浮选设备更新,上了一套新浮选机用来脱除铁矿石中杂质氟,新浮选设备运行后,在保证浮选精矿质量指标合格的前提下,一直存在浮尾铁品位高、浮选产率低的问题,浮尾铁品位平均高达37.3%,浮选精矿产率仅为73.12%,造成浮选产率低、药剂消耗高、经济效益不好等问题,与设计浮尾铁品位33.64%、浮选精矿产率87.73%相差甚远。为此,对浮选工艺流程进行了大量的考察研究,探索了调整浮选作业参数、改进药剂制度等措施,但是效果均不理想。由于浮选产率低,造成精矿产量降低,制造成本升高,严重影响宝山矿业公司的经济效益[2]
对浮选作业各节点进行取样分析,统计分析作业参数及药剂添加情况。磁选精矿铁品位为59.80%,杂质氟含量为2.38%。浮选作业给矿浓度为49%,浮选温度为50 ℃,水玻璃添加量为22 L/min,浮选药剂GQ601粗选一段添加量为45 L/min,粗选二段添加量为25 L/min。浮选工艺数质量流程图见图2,浮选工艺指标见表1
图2表1结果可知,粗选一段泡沫铁品位仅为31.40%,低于浮选尾矿铁品位,也低于铁品位33.64%的设计指标,具有直接抛尾条件,无需再进行扫选作业。因此计划对浮选作业流程进行改进,将粗选一段的泡沫直接抛尾,不再进行扫选作业,粗选二段的泡沫保持不变,继续进入一次扫选作业。
现场接取粗选二段泡沫在实验室模拟现场生产进行两次扫选试验,结果见表2
表2结果可预测,将来扫选得到的浮选尾矿铁品位约为37.20%,再从图2可知浮选作业流程中粗选一段泡沫产率是16.19%,二次扫选得到的浮选尾矿产率是26.88%,如果将浮选的粗选一段泡沫直接作为浮选尾矿抛除,那么预测工艺改进后浮选尾矿铁品位是33.71%。
将浮选粗选一段3台浮选机的泡沫通过管道接至二次扫选泡沫槽,与原浮选泡沫形成最终的浮选尾矿。
改进后的浮选工艺数质量流程见图3,由数质量流程指标可知,将粗选一段泡沫直接抛尾的措施可行,在保证浮选精矿指标合格的前提下,最终浮选尾矿铁品位可以降至31.20%,浮选精矿产率提高了7.37个百分点,同时药剂消耗也降低。
将粗选一段泡沫作为尾矿直接抛尾后,浮选作业的产质量指标得到了提高。统计了2024年改进前2、3月份浮选生产作业指标和改进后5月份的浮选生产作业指标,结果如表3所示。改进后,在保证精矿质量的前提下,浮选精矿产率提高了6.16个百分点。
浮选工艺流程改进后,浮选作业状况得到了改善,药剂用量明显减少,对比结果如表4所示。改进后水玻璃用量减少了5 L/min,每年可节约2 522 t,浓度20%的GQ601用量减少了22 L/min,每年可节约9 112 t。
浮选工艺将粗选一段泡沫作为最终尾矿直接抛尾,与传统浮选工艺相比,改进后工艺流程浮选产率提高,药剂成本降低。工艺改进后,浮选尾矿铁品位降低了5.34个百分点,浮选精矿产率提高了6.16个百分点。
