The hot rolled coil plate for pipeline steel is mainly used for manufacturing delivery welded pipe of petroleum and natural gas. In this paper, the development of hot rolled coil plate for L485M pipeline steel with heavy gauge and low costs is introduced. The design with diversified alloy systems of C-Mn-Cr-Mo or C-Mn-Cr-Mo-Ni as well as smelting of clean steel and thermo mechanical control process (TMCP) are adopted. The microstructure of developed L485M hot rolled coil plate is acicular ferrite+granular bainite and precipitate is homogeneous. The L485M hot rolled coil plate is with such characteristics as high strength and excellent low temperature toughness through such mechanisms as dislocation strengthening and precipitation strengthening. The experimental results showed that the L485M hot rolled coil plates with and without Ni element could meet the technical requirements as well as was with capacity of batch production, which is beneficial for enterprises to reduce costs and increase benefits.

管线钢热轧卷板主要用于石油和天然气输送焊管制造。文章介绍了一种厚规格低成本L485M管线钢热轧卷板的研制情况。采用C-Mn-Cr-Mo或C-Mn-Cr-Mo-Ni多样化合金体系设计,纯净钢冶炼,热机械轧制(TMCP),开发出的L485M热轧卷板显微组织为针状铁素体+粒状贝氏体,析出物均匀。通过位错强化、析出强化等机制,L485M热轧卷板具有高强度和优良的低温韧性等特点。试验结果表明,加Ni和不加Ni元素的L485M热轧板卷满足技术要求,具备批量生产的能力,有利于企业降本增效。

The hot rolled coil plate for pipeline steel is mainly used for manufacturing delivery welded pipe of petroleum and natural gas. In this paper, the development of hot rolled coil plate for L485M pipeline steel with heavy gauge and low costs is introduced. The design with diversified alloy systems of C-Mn-Cr-Mo or C-Mn-Cr-Mo-Ni as well as smelting of clean steel and thermo mechanical control process (TMCP) are adopted. The microstructure of developed L485M hot rolled coil plate is acicular ferrite+granular bainite and precipitate is homogeneous. The L485M hot rolled coil plate is with such characteristics as high strength and excellent low temperature toughness through such mechanisms as dislocation strengthening and precipitation strengthening. The experimental results showed that the L485M hot rolled coil plates with and without Ni element could meet the technical requirements as well as was with capacity of batch production, which is beneficial for enterprises to reduce costs and increase benefits.

管道作为输送石油和天然气最经济、高效的方式,一直以来被广泛使用。我国管道工业已经形成了以中俄东线天然气管道为代表的第三代管道体系,管道输送技术位居世界前列[1]。就高强管线钢产品而言,降低合金成本和设备能耗,提高轧制节奏可以有效降低产品制造成本,大幅度提高产品生产效率。目前高强管线钢L485M用合金价格居高不下,尤其是钢中含有贵金属元素Mo、Ni,其合金成本高,使得产品盈利能力较低,因此2023年企业结合市场需求,开发经济型厚度14.5 mm的L485M管线钢热轧卷板,应用于中东地区国家能源领域合作的“一带一路”重点项目。
根据国外某地区工程用14.5 mm厚度的L485M管线钢合同要求,技术协议中化学成分要求见表1,相比美国石油学会API 5L[2]标准更为严格。
技术协议要求热轧卷板的力学性能见表2。卷板强度值明显高于API 5L标准要求,屈服强度和抗拉强度范围收窄,屈强比控制严格,特别是规定了取样方向与轧制方向成30°角,此方向因晶粒取向等原因,使得钢板屈服强度最低,需要添加一定的合金元素Mo、Ni来保证。但是,用户为了控制焊管加工后钢材硬化,要求母材硬度的最大限值相比API 5L要求明显降低,又在一定程度上限制了成分设计。因此如何满足拉伸和硬度要求是产品设计的难点。
秉承低成本设计理念,C是最经济的强化元素,为了保证高级别管线钢的韧性,产品设计通常采用低碳成分系;Mn和Cr主要以固溶强化方式提高强度;Nb、V、Ti是最常用的微合金化元素[3],具有显著的细晶强化作用和析出强化作用,主要用来提高钢材的强度,但是铌铁、钒铁合金价格较高;Mo和Cr是提高钢淬透性的重要元素,Mo强于Cr但稍逊于Mn[4],但是钼铁合金价格远比铬铁合金高;Ni可以改善产品的低温韧性和耐蚀性,但是镍铁合金价格居高不下,不利于产品降本。
综合考虑上述各元素特性及生产成本,厚规格L485M管线钢热轧板卷设计两种成分体系,方案1为加Ni成分体系,方案2为不加Ni成分体系,见表3。依据近两年铁合金价格,不加Ni的方案2更为经济。
L485M生产工艺流程:铁水预处理→转炉冶炼→LF精炼→RH真空脱气→板坯连铸→加热→粗轧→精轧→冷却→卷取。
LF-RH双联工艺匹配脱硫及钙处理等措施,可以显著提高钢水纯净度,确保钢材的低温韧性[5]。板坯加热在充分固溶和微合金化后,进行6或8道次粗轧以细化奥氏体组织,7道次精轧采用低温大压下来积累足够的位错密度,轧制后钢板快速冷却至450~500 ℃完成组织转变,获得均匀细小的贝氏体组织。
加Ni和不加Ni成分系各试制三炉,化学成分均按目标值控制,热轧工艺控制良好。在钢卷尾部切除1 m后取样进行拉伸、弯曲、冲击、落锤、硬度和金相组织检测。
加Ni和不加Ni的L485M管线钢主要力学性能检测结果见表4。拉伸性能检测均采用矩形试样(试样宽度为38 mm),取样角度为沿轧制方向45°。两个成分系的热轧板卷屈服强度为515~545 MPa,抗拉强度为660~675 MPa,断后伸长率为33%~37%,均满足要求,但加Ni成分系管线钢屈服强度略显不足。鉴于屈服强度易受试样瓢曲的影响[6],后续需要大量数据积累。冲击性能沿轧制方向45°取样检测,试样尺寸为10 mm×10 mm×55 mm,0 ℃试验温度下冲击吸收功为274.6~333.0 J,满足要求。落锤性能在0 ℃试验温度下沿轧制方向45°取样检测,平均剪切断面率为93%~96%,结果满足技术要求。维氏硬度值为228~236,满足技术要求。
取加Ni成分系和不加Ni成分系的L485M管线钢金相样,在光学金相显微镜下观察金相组织,分别见图1图2。由图1图2可见,两者存在一定差异,加Ni成分系管线钢厚度截面整体组织均匀性稍差,心部出现大片状铁素体,且碳化物析出颗粒偏聚明显,这是由于Mo含量低,钢板心部淬透性减弱,针状铁素体和粒状贝氏体减少所致。不加Ni成分系管线钢的显微组织为针状铁素体+粒状贝氏体,晶粒尺寸细小均匀,位错密度高,组织具有良好的强韧性[7]
(1)采用纯净钢冶炼、热机械轧制工艺,开发出的加Ni成分系和不加Ni成分系的L485M管线钢晶粒细小均匀,通过细晶强化、位错强化、析出强化等机制,产品具有高强韧性以及落锤止裂性等特点,各项指标均满足技术要求。
(2)加Ni成分系和不加Ni成分系的L485M管线钢显微组织存在一定差异。加Ni成分系的组织多为片状或多边形铁素体;不加Ni成分系的显微组织,针状铁素体数量较多,更为均匀,有利于改善低温韧性。
(3)加Ni成分系和不加Ni成分系比较,后者合金成本低,更具有经济适用性。
