In this paper, two types of online as-heat-treated pearlite rails are tempered. The optimal tempering process of two types of high-strength heat-treated rail is obtained based on the changes of mechanical properties and microstructure for the rails under different tempering temperatures. The results showed that the comprehensive mechanical properties of rail could be improved by low temperature tempering within the range of 200~350 ℃. With the increase of tempering temperature, residual stress of rail web tends to be decreased. The residual stresses of rail web for the two types of rail are 45 MPa and 32 MPa respectively with tempering at 350 ℃, which are decreased by 63.4% and 80.6% compared with those before tempering. The hardness, toughness and plasticity of tempered rail are improved with the increase of tempering temperature. The hardness is significantly increased with the improvement of plasticity and toughness. The tread hardness (HBW) of rail is increased by 13 and 8 respectively with tempering at 350 ℃ as well as the tempered rail is still with typical perlite structrure.

文章对两种在线热处理态珠光体钢轨进行回火处理,根据不同回火温度下钢轨力学性能和显微组织变化,得到两种高强热处理钢轨最佳回火工艺。结果表明,在200~350 ℃范围内,低温回火可提高钢轨综合力学性能。随着回火温度的提高,轨腰残余应力呈下降的趋势,350 ℃回火处理,两种钢轨的轨腰残余应力分别为45 MPa和32 MPa,比回火前降低了63.4%和80.6%。回火态钢轨的硬度、韧性和塑性随着回火温度的升高而提高,在改善塑性和韧性的同时,硬度得到较大的提高。350 ℃回火处理使钢轨的踏面硬度(HBW)分别提高13和8。回火态钢轨仍具有典型的珠光体组织。

In this paper, two types of online as-heat-treated pearlite rails are tempered. The optimal tempering process of two types of high-strength heat-treated rail is obtained based on the changes of mechanical properties and microstructure for the rails under different tempering temperatures. The results showed that the comprehensive mechanical properties of rail could be improved by low temperature tempering within the range of 200~350 ℃. With the increase of tempering temperature, residual stress of rail web tends to be decreased. The residual stresses of rail web for the two types of rail are 45 MPa and 32 MPa respectively with tempering at 350 ℃, which are decreased by 63.4% and 80.6% compared with those before tempering. The hardness, toughness and plasticity of tempered rail are improved with the increase of tempering temperature. The hardness is significantly increased with the improvement of plasticity and toughness. The tread hardness (HBW) of rail is increased by 13 and 8 respectively with tempering at 350 ℃ as well as the tempered rail is still with typical perlite structrure.

如今,铁路建设和运输行业快速发展,钢轨服役安全被高度重视,研发性能优良的钢轨需求越发迫切。钢轨在热处理过程中通常会产生较大的残余应力,这些残余应力会导致钢轨在长期使用过程中发生开裂或疲劳失效[1]。回火是热处理工艺的一部分,通过回火改善材料的机械性能。低温回火温度范围为150~350 ℃,主要作用是改善钢的机械性能[2],包括消除内应力,改善钢轨的硬度、韧性以及抗裂性能。低温回火通过加热钢轨至较低温度,使钢轨内部的应力得到释放,降低钢轨裂纹扩展的风险,提高钢轨在长期使用中的抗疲劳性能。
本文以两种高强热处理钢轨为研究对象,通过改变回火温度分析钢轨力学性能及显微组织变化趋势,探究回火温度对钢轨组织、性能的影响,为钢轨的性能优化提供参考。
试验选取两种高强热处理钢轨A和B。钢轨A依据欧洲标准EN 13674-1:2011生产,钢轨抗拉强度≥1 175 MPa,伸长率≥9%,踏面硬度(HBW)为350~390。钢轨B是一种H400等级过共析热处理钢轨,强度高,耐磨性好,依据用户技术协议要求,钢轨抗拉强度≥1 300 MPa,伸长率≥8%,踏面硬度(HBW)为390~440。
两种规格在线热处理态钢轨在欧洲标准和技术协议要求中的熔炼成分见表1
对钢轨A、B进行基本力学性能的检测,数据见表2表3。所获得的在线热处理态钢轨轨头抗拉强度、断后伸长率、轨腰残余应力以及顶面中心线硬度测量值均符合欧洲标准和技术协议要求。
选取长度为1 m的两种规格在线热处理态钢轨,采用RX4-65-8回火炉进行回火处理,钢轨具体回火工艺参数见表4
对不同材质、不同回火工艺下的钢轨进行显微组织、性能对比分析。采用Instron 60电子拉伸试验机进行拉伸性能检测,采用N175冲击试验机进行冲击性能检测,采用TH600硬度计进行踏面硬度检测,采用AFT-CM-10残余应力测试仪进行残余应力检测,采用EVO50HV扫描电子显微镜进行显微组织分析。
对两种回火态钢轨的拉伸性能进行对比分析,见表5图1
表5图1可知,对于钢轨A,在线热处理态钢轨的抗拉强度为1 267 MPa,回火态钢轨的抗拉强度为1 270~1 293 MPa;对于钢轨B,在线热处理态钢轨的抗拉强度为1 385 MPa,回火态钢轨的抗拉强度为1 421~1 443 MPa,表明回火处理能够不同程度地提高钢轨的抗拉强度。在200~350 ℃的回火温度范围内,抗拉强度随着回火温度的提高而提高,350 ℃回火热处理钢轨A的抗拉强度提高2%,钢轨B提高4%。在线热处理态钢轨A的伸长率为12%,在线热处理态钢轨B的伸长率为9%,在200~350 ℃温度范围回火后,钢轨A的伸长率增加2~3个百分点,钢轨B的伸长率增加1~2个百分点,并且随着回火温度的提高,钢轨伸长率提高。回火温度对两种钢轨的屈服强度、屈强比、面缩率影响不大,均满足标准要求。综上所述,钢轨回火态的拉伸性能略优于在线热处理态,并且随着回火温度的提高,塑性和延展性得到有限的改善。
对回火态钢轨轨头进行常温冲击(U型)对比分析,每个编号的回火态钢轨做三组平行室温冲击试验,轨头冲击性能见表6图2,图3为冲击断口裂纹起源区与裂纹扩展区扫描电镜照片。
表6图2图3可知,不同回火温度下钢轨A、B冲击断口起源区及裂纹扩展区均呈现典型的河流状花样,表明解理断裂机制占主导。对于200~350 ℃低温回火态的钢轨,随着回火温度的升高,钢轨A的室温冲击吸收功平均值从15.7 J增加到19.0 J,钢轨B的室温冲击吸收功平均值从7.7 J增加到11.0 J,并且两种规格回火态钢轨的抗冲击性能随着回火温度的升高而提高。200~350 ℃低温回火可以释放部分残余应力,减少应力集中,从而降低裂纹萌生的可能性。
对回火态钢轨进行踏面硬度对比分析,见表7图4
表7图4可知,对于钢轨A,在线热处理态的踏面硬度(HBW)为360,回火态的踏面硬度(HBW)为366~373;对于钢轨B,在线热处理态的踏面硬度(HBW)为403,回火态的踏面硬度(HBW)为404~411,表明回火处理能够不同程度地提高钢轨的踏面硬度(HBW)。钢轨A的踏面硬度(HBW)随着回火温度的升高,呈现先升高后逐渐稳定的趋势,350 ℃回火热处理钢轨的踏面硬度与热处理态相比提高了13。钢轨B的踏面硬度(HBW)随着回火温度的升高而升高,350 ℃回火热处理钢轨的踏面硬度与热处理态相比提高了8。低温回火促进了碳化物的析出,进一步钉扎位错,阻碍位错的运动,提高了钢轨的硬度[3]
按照标准TB/T 2344.1—2020要求,对1 m钢轨进行轨腰残余应力对比分析,回火态钢轨轨腰残余应力见图5
图5可知,在线热处理态钢轨A的轨腰残余应力为123 MPa,在线热处理态钢轨B的轨腰残余应力为165 MPa。经过200~350 ℃低温回火之后,钢轨A的轨腰残余应力降低至45~65 MPa,钢轨B的轨腰残余应力降低至32~90 MPa。随着回火温度从200 ℃升高到350 ℃,残余应力呈下降的趋势,350 ℃回火处理,两种钢轨轨腰残余应力分别为45 MPa和32 MPa,比回火前降低了63.4%和80.6%。大量研究表示[4-7],回火处理可有效降低钢轨残余应力。通过回火工序的加热和保温,钢轨材料内部的应力得到释放,从而降低轨腰的残余应力。
两种钢轨在三种回火温度下进行回火处理后,分析其显微组织,见图6。回火态钢轨显微组织主要为铁素体与渗碳体交错排列的珠光体组织。对六支回火态钢轨进行珠光体片间距测量,每号选取三张显微组织照片,每张照片里随机测量十组十片厚的珠光体片层厚度,得到三组算术平均值,见表8。对比回火态钢轨轨头、轨腰珠光体片间距最大差值,值越小表示珠光体金相图像显示越清晰均匀,如图7所示。
表8图6图7可知,随着回火温度从200 ℃升高到350 ℃,珠光体片间距最大差值逐渐降低。钢轨A轨头珠光体片间距最大差值从51 nm降低到17 nm,轨腰珠光体片间距最大差值从99 nm降低到35 nm。钢轨B轨头珠光体片间距最大差值从38 nm降低到17 nm,轨腰珠光体片间距最大差值从68 nm降低到22 nm,表明回火处理可以使得珠光体金相图像显示更清晰均匀,并且随着回火温度的升高,清晰程度增加。低温回火虽然不足以驱动珠光体片间距细化[8],但是会释放材料中的微观残余应力,使珠光体区域的晶格畸变减轻[9],观察显微组织,片层因应力释放而显得排列更规则。低温回火还会降低珠光体界面能[10],使腐蚀试剂4%硝酸酒精溶液更容易渗透至界面区域,增大渗碳体、铁素体两相的侵蚀对比度,显微组织显示片层边界更清晰均匀。
(1)200~350 ℃低温回火可提高钢轨综合力学性能。两种钢轨回火态的拉伸性能、踏面硬度、残余应力优于在线热处理态。
(2)回火态钢轨A、B的综合力学性能随着回火温度的升高而提高。200~350 ℃温度范围内,350 ℃回火处理钢轨A、B的抗拉强度分别提高2%、4%,伸长率分别增加2~3、1~2个百分点,踏面硬度(HBW)分别提高13、8。350 ℃回火处理,钢轨A、B轨腰残余应力分别达到45 MPa、32 MPa,降低了63.4%、80.6%。
(3)200~350 ℃低温回火处理虽然不足以驱动珠光体片间距细化,但是会降低珠光体界面能,减轻珠光体区域的晶格畸变,使得珠光体金相图像显示更清晰均匀。回火处理使珠光体片间距最大差值降低。350 ℃回火处理,钢轨A轨头、轨腰的珠光体片间距最大差值较在线热处理态分别降低了34 nm、64 nm,钢轨B轨头、轨腰珠光体片间距最大差值较在线热处理态分别降低了21 nm、46 nm。
