    肠道菌群在调节动物免疫功能、营养物质代谢和消化吸收中发挥着重要作用,影响着肠道稳态和宿主健康。近年来,益生菌作为一种安全且有效的微生态制剂广泛应用于调节犬猫肠道平衡,维护犬猫健康。然而,益生菌的作用效果受菌株特异性、宿主差异性等因素影响,其具体机制仍需进一步研究。目前,犬猫的肠道菌群研究处于起步阶段,本文就犬猫肠道菌群的特点、肠道菌群对营养物质代谢与宿主健康的影响、及益生菌对犬猫肠道菌群的调控作用进行了综述,旨在为改善犬猫肠道健康及促进功能性宠物食品开发提供理论依据。
