Natural maghemite (γ-Fe₂O₃) particles were coated with SiO₂ and combined with Bi₂WO₆ to prepare a magnetic photocatalyst γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆. The samples were characterized by multiple means of XRD, FESEM, XPS and VSM. The VSM tests indicated that γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆ possesses magnetic properties, allowing for magnetic recovery and reuse. Compared with Bi₂WO₆, the catalytic performance of γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆ for degrading isobutyl xanthate slightly decreases, but the 5%γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆ can almost completely degrade isobutyl xanthate (60mg/L) within 60min, and the TOC test results showed that the mineralization degree of isobutyl xanthate wastewater was as high as 76.86%. The results of cyclic experiments showed that catalytic activity of γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆ hardly decreased after 5cycles. The degradation efficiency of isobutyl xanthate stabilized over 99% and the recovery rate of 5%γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆ was as high as 82.00%. It proved the stability and recyclability of the prepared γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆ composites. Sacrificial agent experiments and ESR tests indicated that ·O₂^- was the predominant species in the photo-degradation process of isobutyl xanthate. Finally, DFT calculations confirmed that the active sites on the catalyst surface and xanthate were W atom and S atom, respectively.

将天然磁赤铁矿γ-Fe₂O₃用SiO₂纳米颗粒包覆后与Bi₂WO₆复合制备磁性光催化剂γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆，采用XRD，FESEM，XPS，VSM等方法对样品进行表征．VSM测试结果表明γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆具有磁性，可通过磁力回收复用．相较于Bi₂WO₆，γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆光催化降解异丁基黄药的性能略有下降，5%γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆在60min内仍能完全降解60mg/L的异丁基黄药，且TOC测试结果显示异丁基黄药废水的矿化程度为76.86%．5次循环实验结果显示γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆的催化活性几乎没有下降，异丁基黄药降解效率均保持在99%以上，且材料的回收率高达82.00%，证明了γ-Fe₂O₃@SiO₂/Bi₂WO₆的稳定性和可回用性．通过牺牲剂实验以及ESR测试表明·O₂^-是异丁基黄药降解过程的主要活性基团．最后，通过DFT计算确定了催化剂表面和黄药的活性位点分别是W原子和S原子．
