With the gradual depletion of shallow coal resources in mines and the continuous advancement of structural reforms on the supply side of national energy, the number of abandoned mines has increased, drawing growing attention to the environmental issues left behind in these areas. This study focuses on the abandoned mine in the Wansheng Economic Development Zone, Chongqing City. We collected five types of samples, including water (n=7), sediments (n=4), soil (n=8), coal gangue (n=2), and plants (n=10). The concentrations of the 16priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) identified by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) were analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Positive matrix factorization (PMF) and Monte Carlo simulation were employed to analyze the sources of PAH pollution and the carcinogenic risks in various environmental media within the abandoned mine. The results showed that the concentrations of PAHs in river, leachate, sediments, surface soil, coal gangue, and dominant plants were (45.6±12.4), (97.8±89.4)ng/L, (3640±2520), (6400±2650), (18600±1120), and (801±1110)ng/g, respectively. In the river, leachate, coal gangue, and dominant plants, the 2-3 ring PAHs are dominant, accounting for 83%,71%, 39%, and 54%, respectively. In the sediment and surface soil, the 5-6 ring PAHs have a relatively high proportion, accounting for 37% in both. The PMF source apportionment results indicated that diagenetic sources and petroleum source (49%) and traffic sources (32%) were the main contributors to PAHs in water. Traffic sources (48%) and coal combustion sources (35%) were the primary sources of PAHs in surface soil, while traffic sources (46%) and petroleum source and coal combustion sources (38%) were the major sources of PAHs in dominant plants. Monte Carlo simulations revealed potential carcinogenic risks to local residents from soil, coal gangue, and self-cultivated vegetables in the abandoned mine, with adults facing higher health risks than children. Over 96% of the carcinogenic risks were attributed to dermal contact.

随着矿山浅部煤炭资源逐步枯竭和国家能源供给侧结构性改革深化推进,闭坑矿区数量不断增加,其遗留的环境问题引起了广泛关注.本研究选取重庆市万盛经济开发区的闭坑矿区作为研究对象,采集水体(n=7)、沉积物(n=4)、土壤(n=8)、煤矸石(n=2)和植物(n=10)5种环境介质共31个样品,采用气相色谱-质谱联用技术(GC-MS),分析USEPA 16PAHs浓度水平,结合正定矩阵因子分析(PMF)和蒙特卡罗模拟(Monte-Carlo),解析闭坑矿区多种环境介质中PAHs的污染来源,评价健康风险.结果显示,闭坑矿区河流、淋滤液、沉积物、表层土壤、煤矸石和优势植物中PAHs浓度水平分别是:(45.6±12.4),(97.8±89.4)ng/L,(3640±2520),(6400±2650),(18600±1120)和(801±1110)ng/g. 河流、淋滤液、煤矸石和优势植物中,2~3环的PAHs占主导地位,占比分别为83%、71%、39%和54%;沉积物和表层土壤中,5~6环PAHs占比较高,占比均为37%.PMF来源解析揭示,水体中PAHs的主要来源为成岩源与石油源(49%)和交通源(32%),表层土壤中的主要来源为交通源(48%)和煤炭燃烧源(35%),优势植物中的主要来源为交通源(46%)和石油源与煤炭燃烧源(38%).蒙特卡罗模拟结果表明,闭坑矿区的表层土壤、煤矸石和自辟菜地蔬菜对当地居民构成了潜在的致癌风险,且对成人的健康风险高于儿童,表层土壤和煤矸石对居民造成的致癌风险主要通过皮肤接触途径产生.

随着矿山浅部煤炭资源逐步枯竭和国家能源供给侧结构性改革深化推进,闭坑矿区数量不断增加,其遗留的环境问题引起了广泛关注.本研究选取重庆市万盛经济开发区的闭坑矿区作为研究对象,采集水体(n=7)、沉积物(n=4)、土壤(n=8)、煤矸石(n=2)和植物(n=10)5种环境介质共31个样品,采用气相色谱-质谱联用技术(GC-MS),分析USEPA 16PAHs浓度水平,结合正定矩阵因子分析(PMF)和蒙特卡罗模拟(Monte-Carlo),解析闭坑矿区多种环境介质中PAHs的污染来源,评价健康风险.结果显示,闭坑矿区河流、淋滤液、沉积物、表层土壤、煤矸石和优势植物中PAHs浓度水平分别是:(45.6±12.4),(97.8±89.4)ng/L,(3640±2520),(6400±2650),(18600±1120)和(801±1110)ng/g. 河流、淋滤液、煤矸石和优势植物中,2~3环的PAHs占主导地位,占比分别为83%、71%、39%和54%;沉积物和表层土壤中,5~6环PAHs占比较高,占比均为37%.PMF来源解析揭示,水体中PAHs的主要来源为成岩源与石油源(49%)和交通源(32%),表层土壤中的主要来源为交通源(48%)和煤炭燃烧源(35%),优势植物中的主要来源为交通源(46%)和石油源与煤炭燃烧源(38%).蒙特卡罗模拟结果表明,闭坑矿区的表层土壤、煤矸石和自辟菜地蔬菜对当地居民构成了潜在的致癌风险,且对成人的健康风险高于儿童,表层土壤和煤矸石对居民造成的致癌风险主要通过皮肤接触途径产生.

With the gradual depletion of shallow coal resources in mines and the continuous advancement of structural reforms on the supply side of national energy, the number of abandoned mines has increased, drawing growing attention to the environmental issues left behind in these areas. This study focuses on the abandoned mine in the Wansheng Economic Development Zone, Chongqing City. We collected five types of samples, including water (n=7), sediments (n=4), soil (n=8), coal gangue (n=2), and plants (n=10). The concentrations of the 16priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) identified by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) were analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Positive matrix factorization (PMF) and Monte Carlo simulation were employed to analyze the sources of PAH pollution and the carcinogenic risks in various environmental media within the abandoned mine. The results showed that the concentrations of PAHs in river, leachate, sediments, surface soil, coal gangue, and dominant plants were (45.6±12.4), (97.8±89.4)ng/L, (3640±2520), (6400±2650), (18600±1120), and (801±1110)ng/g, respectively. In the river, leachate, coal gangue, and dominant plants, the 2-3 ring PAHs are dominant, accounting for 83%,71%, 39%, and 54%, respectively. In the sediment and surface soil, the 5-6 ring PAHs have a relatively high proportion, accounting for 37% in both. The PMF source apportionment results indicated that diagenetic sources and petroleum source (49%) and traffic sources (32%) were the main contributors to PAHs in water. Traffic sources (48%) and coal combustion sources (35%) were the primary sources of PAHs in surface soil, while traffic sources (46%) and petroleum source and coal combustion sources (38%) were the major sources of PAHs in dominant plants. Monte Carlo simulations revealed potential carcinogenic risks to local residents from soil, coal gangue, and self-cultivated vegetables in the abandoned mine, with adults facing higher health risks than children. Over 96% of the carcinogenic risks were attributed to dermal contact.

多环芳烃因其化学结构稳定,能长距离运输,在大气、水体、土壤、植物和沉积物等各种环境介质中广泛存在.鉴于其致癌、致畸和致突变效应,16种母体多环芳烃(16PAHs)于1979年被美国环境保护署列为“优先控制污染物”.随着煤炭等化石燃料的广泛应用,特别是在煤炭开采与加工过程中,PAHs的释放与积累对环境构成了严重威胁.
近年来,随着矿山浅部煤炭资源逐步枯竭和国家能源供给侧结构性改革深化推进,废弃煤矿数量显著增加,煤矸石产量居高不下,2013~2022年间新产生的煤矸石总储存量高达20.9亿t[1],废弃矿区的环境污染问题愈发凸显[2].矿区的污染物来源复杂并且迁移途径多样[3],对周边生态环境安全构成了长期挑战.矿山开采过程中产生的富含PAHs的煤炭颗粒沉降于土壤、水体和植物表面,威胁生态环境安全;未经处理的煤矸石露天堆放,其挥发的PAHs通过大气沉降进入并蓄积在表层土壤中[4-5],进一步加剧了对环境的污染;此外,风力和降雨淋洗作用还促进了矸石山对周围环境的污染扩散[4-5],释放到环境中的PAHs增加了当地居民的致癌风险[6].
目前,国内外学者已对煤矿区部分环境介质中的PAHs污染状况及健康风险进行了初步研究,印度尼西亚南加里曼丹省和新疆淮东煤矿区的土壤中,16PAHs浓度超过1000ng/g[7-8],达到严重污染水平;印度达莫德尔河盆地地表水和沉积物中,16PAHs的平均浓度分别为10110ng/L和380ng/g[9].但针对闭坑矿区多环境介质(如表层土壤、煤矸石、河流、沉积物及植物)中PAHs的全面分析仍显不足.
终身致癌风险(ILCR)模型广泛应用于不同环境介质中PAHs的健康风险评估,成都市和天津市的表层土壤及天津市的茄果类蔬菜中PAHs终身致癌风险增量值超过10-6,存在潜在致癌风险[10-12].然而,传统的ILCR模型基于参数平均值进行估算,一定程度上忽视了个体间的变异性和实际人群构成的多样性,限制了评估的精确性[13].蒙特卡罗模拟(Monte-Carlo)方法基于参数的分布特性随机生成虚拟个体,通过大量循环模拟,最终构建出更贴近实际情况的健康风险分布图谱,可显著提升评估的准确性和可靠性[14].
鉴于此,本研究以重庆市万盛经济开发区闭坑矿区及其周边区域的表层土壤、煤矸石、水体、淋滤液、沉积物和优势植物中16PAHs为研究对象,结合正定矩阵因子模型(PMF)解析PAHs的来源,并结合蒙特卡罗模拟评估表层土壤、煤矸石和自辟菜地蔬菜中PAHs对当地居民的健康风险,旨在深入了解闭坑矿区多环境介质中PAHs的污染现状、来源和潜在健康风险,为闭坑矿区的环境管理和治理提供科学依据和参考.
本研究聚焦于重庆万盛经济开发区的一处闭坑煤矿(28°91′30″~28°93′00″N,106°85′30″~106°87′30″E),万盛经济开发区作为重庆市的传统工业矿区和重要能源基地,拥有7000万t煤炭保有储量,开采历史超过50a.2020年底重庆市政府加速煤矿关停进程.本研究中的闭坑矿区(占地面积15.10km2)在2021年全部关停,但距离矸石山直线距离不足3km的矿区配套居民楼内,仍有大量居民长期居住.并且,居民在闭坑矿区附近荒地大量开辟菜地,部分自辟菜地距离矸石山距离不足500m.闭坑矿区受污染的土壤和露天堆放的矸石山,可能对居民健康构成潜在威胁.基于此,于2021年1月选取万盛经济开发区一处闭坑矿区作为研究对象,采集水体(n=7)、沉积物(n=4)、土壤(n=8)、煤矸石(n=2)和优势植物(n=10)共5种环境介质共31个样品,采样点分布详见图1.其中,水体采自矿区天然河流刘家河(A1~A4)和矸石山淋滤液(B1~B3);沉积物采自刘家河(A1~A2)和矸石山淋滤液(B1~B2);表层土壤(0~10cm)采自矸石山周边土壤(C1~C4)和附近居民自辟菜地(D1);煤矸石采自矸石山(C5~C6);优势植物采自矸石山周边(C1~C4)和附近居民自辟菜地(D1).
水体样品包含河流水体和淋滤液,水样通过孔径为0.45μm的玻璃纤维滤膜以去除悬浮颗粒物,在固相萃取柱(XAD-2/XAD-4质量比为1:1)中添加已知量的氘代多环芳烃(D-PAHs)作为回收率指示物,使用固相萃取柱以10mL/min的流速富集水样中的溶解态的PAHs.富集完成后,萃取柱经冷冻干燥处理,再用100mL二氯甲烷进行洗脱.洗脱液经旋转蒸发仪浓缩至约5mL后,加入15mL正己烷进行溶剂置换,并再次旋转浓缩至5mL.最后,使用高纯度氮气将溶液氮吹至约1mL.浓缩液通过层析柱(内径8mm,长度15cm,自下而上填充依次为3cm去活氧化铝、3cm去活硅胶和1cm无水硫酸钠)进行分离纯化,以15mL正己烷/二氯甲烷混合液(体积比1:1)淋洗层析柱,淋洗液经氮吹浓缩至约0.5mL,并转移至1.5mL棕色瓶中,-18℃保存以待分析.
选取采集得到的萝卜、芥菜、车前草和小蓬草的叶片及根茎部分,白菜和莙荙菜的叶片部分,使用超纯水清洗,清洗后的植物叶片进行冷冻干燥并研磨成粉末,准确称量5.0g植物样品,用滤纸包裹后置于索式抽提装置中,添加一定量的D-PAHs,使用150mL的二氯甲烷索式抽提48h.后续处理同水样.
将样品混合均匀后并去除动植物残体、沙砾、石块,经冷冻干燥并研磨成粉末,将干燥粉末过100目筛后混匀;准确称取5.0g样品,用滤纸包裹后置于索式抽提装置中,添加一定量的D-PAHs,使用150mL的二氯甲烷索式抽提48h.后续处理同水样.
采用安捷伦气相色谱-质谱联用仪(Agilent GC 6890N-5975C MSD)分析美国环境保护署规定的16种优先控制PAHs:奈(Nap),苊烯(Acy),苊(Ace),芴(Flu),菲(Phe),蒽(Ant),荧蒽(Flt),芘(Pyr),苯并[a]蒽(BaA),䓛(Chr),苯并[b]荧蒽(BbF),苯并[k]荧蒽(BkF),苯并[a]芘(BaP),二苯并[a,h]蒽(DBA),茚并[1,2,3-cd]芘(InP),苯并[ghi]苝(BghiP).样品分析前加入200ng六甲基苯(HMB,99.9%)作为内标,GC进口温度290℃;不分流;载气1.0mL/min.升温程序:初始60℃,保持2min,以3℃/min升温至290℃,保持20min;选择性离子检测(Selected ion Monitor),四极杆工作温度150℃,离子化能量70eV;溶剂延迟5min.
将蒙特卡罗模拟和ILCR模型相结合,评估闭坑矿区土壤、煤矸石和自辟菜地蔬菜中PAHs对儿童和成人的致癌风险.其中土壤和煤矸石进入人体的主要方式包括口摄入(CRois)、呼吸吸入(CRpis)和皮肤接触(CRdcs),计算公式如下:
自辟菜地蔬菜的食用部分(白菜叶片、萝卜叶片和根茎、芥菜叶片和根茎、莙荙菜叶片)主要通过口摄入途径进入人体,自辟菜地蔬菜致癌风险计算公式如下.
蒙特卡罗模拟参数设置如表1所示.
实验通过设置空白加标和加标回收进行质量保证与质量控制.样品添加D-PAHs(Nap-d8、Ace-d10、Phe-d10、Chr-d12和Per-d12)作为内标物质,以测定并校正回收率.结果显示,各目标物的回收率均处于可接受范围内,Nap-d8、Ace-d10、Phe-d10、Chr-d12和Per-d12回收率分别为60.2%、81.2%、75.4%、93.5%和81.4%,所有样品的目标物浓度均经过空白值扣除和回收率校正处理,以确保数据的准确性和一致性.采用EPA PMF5.0进行来源解析;蒙特卡罗模拟通过Crystal Ball 11.1.2软件实现;采用Origin 2022作图.
图2展示了闭坑矿区河流、淋滤液、沉积物、表层土壤、煤矸石和优势植物中16PAHs浓度水平.河流中Σ16PAHs浓度范围为36.2~66.7ng/L,平均值为(45.6±12.4)ng/L,与国内其他矿区地表水体相比,本研究区域河流中Σ16PAHs浓度水平高于重庆涪陵页岩气开采区麻溪河(23.2ng/L)[19],低于陕北矿区窟野河(128ng/L)[20],低于广西鹤山煤田河流(427ng/L)[21],显著低于唐山焦化厂附近地表水(757ng/L)[22],总体来看,研究区域地表水Σ16PAHs浓度水平在国内矿区地表水体中处于中等水平.Nap和Ace是检出浓度最高的两种单体,BaP浓度低于我国地表水环境质量标准GB3838-2002规定的限值(2.8ng/L)[23].
淋滤液中Σ16PAHs浓度范围为31.7~224ng/L,平均值((97.8±89.4)ng/L)高于河流((45.6±12.4)ng/L).Nap和Ace是检出浓度最高的两种单体,Phe和Ant次之,淋滤液与河流中优势PAHs单体具有相似性,表明两者可能受到同一污染源(即矸石山)的影响.此外,淋滤液中PAHs浓度自出水口(LE1)向下游(LE2~LE3)逐渐降低的趋势,进一步说明矸石山的淋溶作用可能是淋滤液中PAHs的主要来源.
沉积物Σ16PAHs浓度变化较大(浓度范围为1000~7710ng/g),平均值为(3640±2520)ng/g,显著高于安徽省淮南市谢桥煤矿((119±55.9)ng/g)和潘集煤矿((1470±2020)ng/g)的沉积物浓度[24].Ace、Flu和Chr检出浓度高.空间分布上,淋滤液底部沉积物(SE1~SE2)的PAHs浓度高于河流底部沉积物(SE3~SE4),淋滤液对沉积物中PAHs的积累存在贡献.
表层土壤Σ16PAHs浓度范围为3580~10500ng/g,平均值为(6400±2650)ng/g,与国内其他矿区相比,本研究区域表层土壤Σ16PAHs浓度水平远高于贵州省毕节市煤矿((177±37.4)ng/g)[25],高于安徽省淮南市胡芦岭煤矿(1150ng/g)[26]和辽宁省调兵山市铁法煤矿(1640ng/g)[27],低于山西平朔煤矿(11900ng/g)[28],研究区域土壤Σ16PAHs浓度水平在国内矿区表层土壤中属于中等偏高水平.根据土壤PAHs污染等级标准,本研究区域土壤已达到严重污染水平(>1000ng/g)[29],这可能与煤矿开采历史、煤矸石的露天堆放和重庆独特的地貌气象有关,矿区闭坑前开采作业过程排放的煤颗粒和矸石山向环境挥发的PAHs,因受到独特地貌条件(多丘陵山地)和气象因素(风速小、静风和逆温频率高,光照时间短)的影响,很难通过大气环境向外扩散[27],最终沉降并汇聚在土壤中,导致表层土壤中PAHs的浓度水平较高.Ace、Pyr和BaP三种单体检出浓度高,Flu、Flt、BaA、BkF、DBA、BghiP次之.
煤矸石Σ16PAHs浓度平均值((18600±1120)ng/g)约是表层土壤((6400±2650)ng/g)的3倍,与国内其他矿区相比,本研究区域煤矸石Σ16PAHs浓度水平高于安徽淮北刘桥二矿(505ng/g)[30],低于山西大同忻州窑煤矿(25100ng/g)[31].Flu是检出浓度最高的单体(占Σ16PAHs的23%),Ace、Pyr、BkF、BghiP含量次之,并且煤矸石和表层土壤具有相似的优势单体(Ace、Pyr、Flu、BkF、BghiP),这表明矸石山可能是表层土壤中PAHs的重要污染源[32].从空间分布来看,煤矸石(GS1~GS2)Σ16PAHs的平均浓度((18600±1120)ng/g)>矸石山附近表层土壤(SO1~SO4)平均浓度((8910±1340)ng/g)>路边自辟菜地表层土壤(SO5~SO8)平均浓度((3900±346)ng/g),这可能是因为距离矸石山近的表层土壤受矸石山淋溶作用和自燃作用影响较大,而自辟菜地表层土壤距离矸石山较远,受影响相对较小.
矿区优势植物样品PL1~6分别代表自辟菜地蔬菜(萝卜、芥菜、白菜、莙荙菜)、野生车前草和小蓬草的叶片部分,PL7~10代表萝卜、芥菜、车前草和小蓬草的根茎部分.优势植物∑16PAHs浓度范围为42.1~4010ng/g,平均值(801±1110)ng/g.Phe检出浓度最高,其次是Ant、Flt和Nap.优势植物的叶片部分,4种自辟菜地蔬菜叶片浓度水平接近(平均值((645±32.8)ng/g),车前草叶片浓度含量(4010ng/g)远高于其他优势植物.植物叶片中PAHs含量((1250±1240)ng/g)普遍高于根系((121±77.9)ng/g),与Lee等的研究结论相吻合[33].对自辟菜地蔬菜可食用部分分析,萝卜和芥菜的叶片浓度((652±43.2)ng/g)远高于根茎((97.8±26.1)ng/g),4种蔬菜的叶片和芥菜根茎的BaP含量均超过BG2715-2016《食品安全国家标准》规定的限量值(5ng/g)[34],只有萝卜的根茎部分BaP含量未超过标准,食用萝卜根茎部分可能相对安全.
PAHs可分为低环(2~3环)、中环(4环)和高环(5~6环),图3展示了闭坑矿区不同环境介质(河流、淋滤液、沉积物、表层土壤、优势植物和煤矸石)中PAHs的组成特征.在河流中,低环PAHs的浓度((38.1±13.4)ng/L)显著高于中环((5.87±1.16)ng/L)和高环((1.71±1.09)ng/L),占比为83%,这可能与低环PAHs正辛醇-水分配系数(Kow)较小溶解度较大[35]和矸石山挥发的低环PAHs通过大气沉降在水体中富集[14]有关.
淋滤液中的PAHs组成也以低环为主(平均值(69.5±56.0)ng/L,占比71%),淋滤液受到矸石山的影响,高环占比(14%)相较于河流(3.7%)有所增加.
沉积物中PAHs的组成特征则与水体显著不同,高环PAHs(平均值(1330±772)ng/g,占比37%)是主要组成部分,原因是高环PAHs疏水性较强,易被水体中胶体颗粒吸附,并通过物理、化学和生物作用沉降并富集在底层沉积物中[24].
表层土壤中的PAHs同样以高环为主(平均值(2370±730)ng/g,占比37%),原因可能是高环PAHs容易与土壤中的有机质等胶体结合,迁移能力弱[25],更容易被截留在土壤环境中;并且在淋溶作用下,高环PAHs比中、低环PAHs更容易迁移至周边土壤[30].
煤矸石中的低环浓度(平均值(7280±371)ng/g,占比39%)虽略高于高环((6690±493)ng/g,占比36%),但总体差异不大,这可能与煤矸石的风化、自燃、淋溶和渗透作用等多种因素的综合影响有关[3,36].
不同植物种类间的PAHs组成特征相似,均以低环PAHs为主要组成成分,平均值(436±735)ng/g,占比54%,这与Waqas等[37]的研究结果相吻合.相比之下,表层土壤与植物样品中的PAHs组成特征存在显著差异,植物体内低环PAHs占主导,而表层土壤高环PAHs的贡献率更高.这种差异可能归因于多个方面.首先,从物理化学性质的角度来看,PAHs的Kow随着其相对分子质量的增加而增大,低环PAHs因具有较高的水溶性,在土壤中的迁移能力较强,更容易以溶解态形式被植物根系吸收并向上运输至植物体内富集,相反,高环PAHs因其较高的脂溶性,更倾向于被土壤中的固体颗粒和有机质吸附固定,从而限制了其在土壤中的迁移,导致在表层土壤中的累积量较高[12].其次,矸石山挥发和自燃过程释放的PAHs可能通过大气传输途径与植物叶片直接接触,其中的低环PAHs更易被叶片表面的气孔吸收,增加了植物体内低环PAHs的含量[38],进一步导致了植物与表层土壤中PAHs组成特征的差异.
采用PMF对煤矿区水体(河流和淋滤液)、表层土壤和优势植物中PAHs进行来源解析,16PAHs不确定度为样品浓度检出值的10.0%,若PAHs浓度低于检出限,则用1/2检出限代替,其不确定度为5/6检出限[39],最终确定3个主要的污染源因子.水体中,因子1的Nap、Acy、Ace和Flu占比较高,均为2~3环PAHs,Nap、Acy和Flu是石油化工类物质泄露指示物[40-41],矿区闭坑前煤矿开采以机械开采为主,机械设备运转造成的石油类物质泄漏和煤化工企业排放的废水都可能引起石油污染[41];并且,煤炭和石油同属化石燃料,有机成分相似[14],研究区域煤炭资源丰富,因子1也可能受到成岩源(煤和煤矸石颗粒污染)的影响.因此推测因子1为成岩源与石油源.因子2的Chr、BaA和BbF占比较高,Chr和BaA是煤高温燃烧的产物[20,42],矿区内原设有火电厂,燃煤发电产生的PAHs[20],通过沉降作用影响水体.因此,推测因子2为煤炭燃烧源.因子3的BkF、BaP、DBA、BghiP和InP的贡献率较高,BkF、BaP、InP和DBA是汽油和柴油发动机排放的特征单体,是典型的交通源指示物[20],研究区域临近渝筑高速,繁忙的交通运输可能影响矿区PAHs的分布.因此,推测因子3为交通源.水体中3个污染源贡献率分别为成岩源与石油源49%、煤炭燃烧源19%和交通源32%.
表层土壤中,因子1的特征污染物是Nap,Ace和Flu贡献率也相对较高,Nap和Flu是石油化工类物质泄露指示物,鉴于与水体中因子1的相似分析过程,推测因子1为成岩源和石油源.因子2的BaA、BkF、BaP、DBA和BghiP占比较高,BaP、DBA和BghiP通常来源于汽油燃烧[43],BkF、BaP和DBA是汽油和柴油发动机排放的特征单体,是典型的交通源指示物[37,42],鉴于与水体中因子2的相似分析过程,推测因子2为交通源.因子3中,Phe、Ant、Flt、Pyr、Chr和BaA占比较高,Phe、Ant、Flt、Pyr和Chr是煤炭燃烧过程典型的排放物[43-45],Chr和BaA是煤高温燃烧的产物[20,42],并且煤燃烧主要产生3~4环PAHs[46],因此推测因子3是煤炭燃烧源.土壤中3个污染源贡献率分别为成岩源与石油源17%、交通源48%和煤炭燃烧源35%.
优势植物中,因子1中BkF、Flu和Acy是特征元素,Phe、Flt和Ant占比也较大.Phe、Ant和Flt是煤炭燃烧过程典型的排放物[43-45],BkF是煤高温燃烧产物[47],推测因子1受到煤炭燃烧源的影响;并且,Acy和Flu是石油化工类物质泄露指示物[40-41],因子1也可能受到石油源的影响.因此,推断因子1为石油源与煤炭燃烧源.因子2中BghiP是特征化合物,BaA、BbF、BaP、DBA和InP占比也较高,BaP、DBA和BghiP通常来源于汽油燃烧[43],InP是交通源典型指示物[45],因此推断因子2是交通源.因子3中Nap和Ace占比高,石油的挥发会产生以Nap为特征化合物的大量低环PAHs,煤炭和石油有机成分相似[14],结合研究区域的煤炭资源广泛分布现状,推测因子3为成岩源.植物3个污染源贡献率分别为石油源与煤炭燃烧源38%、交通源46%和成岩源16%.
石油源、煤炭燃烧源和交通源是人为源,成岩源是自然源,闭坑矿区水体、表层土壤和优势植物中PAHs的人为源均超过了50%,表层土壤和优势植物中的人为源超过80%,人类活动显著改变了闭坑矿区PAHs的分布.并且,石油源、成岩源和煤炭燃烧源均与煤矿开采历史和矸石山的露天堆放密切相关.因此,应加快矸石山的处置与资源化再利用,修复矿区周边地区受污染土壤,以降低闭坑矿区PAHs的污染水平.
本研究选取7种具有较高致癌性的PAHs(Chr、BaA、BbF、BkF、BaP、InP和DBA)[48],计算它们的毒性当量浓度(ΣTEQ7PAHs),作为健康风险评估中的污染物浓度参数.表层土壤、煤矸石和自辟菜地蔬菜可食用部分(白菜叶片、萝卜叶片和根茎、芥菜叶片和根茎、莙荙菜叶片)ΣTEQ7PAHs平均值分别为1340,2380和17.8ng/g,应用蒙特卡罗模拟方法,评估闭坑矿区表层土壤、煤矸石和自辟菜地蔬菜中PAHs对当地居民(儿童和成人)的潜在致癌风险,图5展示了致癌风险运算结果,表2汇总了蒙特卡罗模拟得到的口摄入、呼吸摄入和皮肤接触等3种暴露途径的致癌风险平均值.根据USEPA和纽约州卫生部的标准,终生致癌风险被划分为3个等级:估计值<1×10-6表示无明显致癌风险;估计值处于1×10-6~1×10-4表示存在可接受的致癌风险;估计值>1×10-4表示致癌风险不可接受[24,48].采用加和的方式,计算3种环境介质(土壤、煤矸石和自辟菜地蔬菜)对儿童和成人造成的总致癌风险,值分别是4.97×10-5和1.25×10-4,表层土壤、煤矸石和自辟菜地蔬菜分别占对成人致癌风险的21%、38%和40%,土壤、煤矸石和蔬菜分别占对儿童致癌风险的32%、56%和13%,煤矸石是当地最大的致癌风险来源.
表层土壤对儿童致癌风险(10%~90%)范围为3.28×10-6~3.18×10-5,对成人致癌风险(10%~90%)范围为5.30×10-6~5.30×10-5,对成人致癌风险(中位数2.69×10-5)高于儿童(中位数1.57×10-5).鉴于此,建议尽快采取措施对矿区周边土壤进行修复,以降低PAHs含量,减少对居民健康的潜在威胁.
煤矸石对儿童致癌风险(10%~90%)范围为5.82×10-6~5.59×10-5,对成人致癌风险(10~90%)范围为9.22×10-6~9.44×10-5,对成人致癌风险(中位数4.78×10-5)高于儿童(中位数2.77×10-5).蒙特卡罗模拟结果显示,煤矸石中PAHs对当地居民致癌风险>1×10-6的概率超过96%,并且,煤矸石中的PAHs导致的致癌风险平均值是表层土壤的1.8倍,露天堆放的煤矸石,对居民健康构成了严重威胁,建议尽快清理或无害化处置煤矸石,以降低对当地居民的致癌风险.
自辟菜地蔬菜对儿童致癌风险(10%~90%)范围是4.28×10-6~9.09×10-6,对成人致癌风险(10%~90%)范围是3.57×10-5~7.15×10-5,对成人致癌风险(中位数5.06×10-5)高于儿童(中位数6.24×10-6),因此,建议当地居民,特别是成人,减少食用可能受到PAHs污染的自辟菜地蔬菜,以降低潜在的致癌风险.
设定总暴露风险的平均值为100%,计算口摄入、呼吸摄入和皮肤接触3种暴露途径对总致癌风险的贡献率[49-50].表层土壤和煤矸石对儿童致癌风险中,约99%的风险通过皮肤接触产生,0.6%的风险通过口摄入产生;对成人的致癌风险中,约96%的风险通过皮肤接触产生,3.6%的风险通过口摄入发生;呼吸摄入途径影响不显著.因此,建议当地居民在户外活动时采取适当的防护措施,如减少皮肤暴露面积,并避免接近矸石山露天堆放区域,以降低PAHs的潜在健康影响.
为探究各暴露参数对健康风险的影响程度,使用Crystal Ball 11.1.2对关键暴露参数进行敏感性分析,结果显示,土壤对当地居民的总致癌风险中,暴露持续时间(EDs/g)显示出最高敏感性,对儿童和成人致癌风险的影响分别达到88%和90%,其次是体重(BW),对儿童和成人的影响分别是-7.5%和-5.3%;皮肤暴露面积是影响评估的第三大参数,对儿童和成人的影响分别是4.8%和4.6%,其他暴露参数敏感度均低于0.1%.煤矸石对当地居民的总致癌风险敏感性分析结果与土壤类似,暴露持续时间(EDs/g)显示出最高敏感性,对儿童和成人致癌风险的影响分别达到88%和89%;其次是体重(BW),对儿童和成人的影响分别是-7.5%和-5.5%,皮肤暴露面积是影响评估的第三大参数,对儿童和成人的影响分别是4.3%和5.0%,其他暴露参数敏感度均低于0.2%.暴露持续时间被认为是影响土壤和煤矸石中PAHs健康风险的主导因素,建议当地居民远离矸石山,减少接触矿区污染土壤的农业活动,缩短暴露时间,从而有效降低污染土壤和矸石山中PAHs带来的致癌风险.此外,为了提高土壤和煤矸石中PAHs风险评估的准确性,需要更精确地定义暴露持续时间(EDs/g)的概率分布类型.在自辟菜地蔬菜对当地居民的总致癌风险中,摄入致癌斜率(CSFIng)的敏感性最高,对儿童和成人的影响分别是51%和61%,其次是体重(BW),对儿童和成人的影响分别是-49%和-39%.
3.1 万盛经济开发区闭坑矿区河流、淋滤液、沉积物、表层土壤、煤矸石和优势植物中PAHs浓度水平分别是:(45.6±12.4),(97.8±89.4)ng/L,(3640±2520),(6400±2650),(18600±1120)和(801±1110)ng/g.水体、表层土壤以及自辟菜地蔬菜的PAHs浓度超出相关标准,污染程度较严重.河流、淋滤液、煤矸石和优势植物中,2~3环的PAHs占主导地位,占比分别是83%、71%、39%和54%;沉积物和表层土壤中,5~6环PAHs占比较高,占比均为37%.
3.2 根据PMF来源解析结果,水体中PAHs的主要来源为成岩源与石油源(49%)和交通源(32%),表层土壤中的主要来源为交通源(48%)和煤炭燃烧源(35%),优势植物中的主要来源为交通源(46%)和石油源与煤炭燃烧源(38%).石油源、成岩源和煤炭燃烧源均与该地区煤矿开采的历史和煤矸石的露天堆积有直接关联,因此应加快废弃煤矸石山的资源化处理和矿区表层土壤的修复.
3.3 蒙特卡罗模拟结果显示,闭坑矿区的表层土壤、煤矸石和自辟菜地蔬菜对当地居民构成了潜在的致癌风险,且成人面临的风险高于儿童.表层土壤和煤矸石中PAHs对当地居民的致癌风险超96%通过皮肤接触产生.在土壤和煤矸石对当地居民的总致癌风险评估中,暴露持续时间(EDs/g)显示出最高的敏感性.
