The paper introduces mechanical character of boom for luffing jib crane, structural form and construction type of the inverted-Y boom are explained. A conversion section is arranged in the middle of the boom, the hoisting or luffing wire rope enters the boom head after bypassing the conversion section, the load of the boom is reduced by the pull of the wire rope. The example of derrick crane with maximum rated lifting capacity of 500 t is given, calculation of the boom shaft pressure, boom dead weight bending moment, wire rope tension and other loads on the boom chord of the magnitude of the axial force exerted, and analyze its proportion. It shows that the effect of hoisting or luffing wire rope can effectively reduce the dead weight bending moment of the boom, and offset part of the boom chord and belly rod axial force, improve the overall stability and bearing capacity of the boom, thus the design of the boom is optimized.

The paper introduces mechanical character of boom for luffing jib crane, structural form and construction type of the inverted-Y boom are explained. A conversion section is arranged in the middle of the boom, the hoisting or luffing wire rope enters the boom head after bypassing the conversion section, the load of the boom is reduced by the pull of the wire rope. The example of derrick crane with maximum rated lifting capacity of 500 t is given, calculation of the boom shaft pressure, boom dead weight bending moment, wire rope tension and other loads on the boom chord of the magnitude of the axial force exerted, and analyze its proportion. It shows that the effect of hoisting or luffing wire rope can effectively reduce the dead weight bending moment of the boom, and offset part of the boom chord and belly rod axial force, improve the overall stability and bearing capacity of the boom, thus the design of the boom is optimized.

动臂起重机是通过臂架的俯仰变幅实现重物幅度和高度变化的起重机械,动臂起重机的臂架为压弯构件,在满足强度、刚度和稳定的前提条件下进行臂架的优化设计是整机结构设计的核心内容。本文阐述一种人字形臂架结构,并通过在臂架中部附近设置起升或变幅钢丝绳的拉臂点,以减轻臂架弦杆和腹杆内力的方法对臂架结构减载,进而减轻臂架自重,达到优化设计的目的。
动臂起重机相对平臂起重机,仰臂变幅可使吊物拔高,起升性能的优势明显,但受限于臂架自重较大,超大吨位塔式起重机较少采用动臂式,同时臂架的轻量化设计一直是动臂起重机研究的重点。塔式起重机、桅杆起重机、环轨起重机等大型动臂起重机的起升载荷大、工作幅度大,臂架的长度接近或超过百米,臂架为压弯构件,所受弯矩主要由自重产生,自身弯曲作用产生的稳定应力约占总稳定应力的30%~40%。特别是桅杆起重机,由于吊装工况的需要,全程变幅范围内只有一个额定起重量,即需要在最大幅度下起吊最大额定起重量,导致在小幅度时起重机的吊装性能不能充分发挥,在最大幅度下臂架自重弯曲产生的应力占比很大,如何减重并优化设计成为整机开发的难点。忽略变幅平面外弯矩的影响,臂架在变幅平面内的稳定应力验算公式为
式中:σN为轴压强度应力;σM为弯曲强度应力;N为轴压力;A为截面积;φ为轴压稳定系数;M为变幅平面弯矩;W为变幅平面抗弯模量;Δ为变形导致弯矩增大引起的折减系数;lim σ为极限设计应力。
轴压稳定系数φ与材料屈服强度σs、长细比λ有关,φ呈非线性比值关系;折减系数Δ与临界力、λσN(即NA)有关。在材料弹性范围内,临界力为欧拉临界力,此时长细比λ要大于材料比例极限对应的长细比λp(Q235约为100,Q345约为85),ΔA呈非线性比值关系。为满足式(1)的要求,可以采用以下方法:提高人字架高度减小臂架轴压力N;增大臂架弦杆截面积A;增大臂架弦杆间距以提高抗弯模量W;采用更高强度钢材增大极限设计应力lim σ
采用增大人字架高度来减小臂架轴压力等方法的作用非常有限,设计上常用的办法是增大臂架弦杆间距,选用Q890高强度钢材等来提高臂架的承载力。选用大屈服强度的钢材,增大了极限设计应力,同时减小了轴压稳定系数φ,导致轴压稳定应力计算值也相应增大,即提高了臂架强度,臂架的稳定性却没有同步提高。
稳定应力计算中,压弯构件的长细比λ越大或者轴压应力σN越大,弯曲应力的折减就越严重。当轴压强度应力计算值用到极限设计应力的70%(其余30%考虑弯曲应力作用),对于Q345钢材(λ=85时)、Q460钢材(λ=75时)和Q690钢材(λ=60时),弯曲稳定应力是弯曲强度应力σM的3.5~5.0倍,见表1。因此,减少弯矩的作用是十分必要的,特别是对高强度钢材和大长细比臂架结构。当没有弯矩或者弯矩很小,也就不存在弯曲应力的折减问题,进而设计臂架时可选用大长细比结构。
从臂架稳定性验证公式出发,采用减小臂架变幅平面内弯矩的方法来提高其稳定性。
臂架承受的轴压力由起升载荷和变幅拉索的合力产生,除轴压力外,臂架还承受其自重载荷产生的弯矩和横向剪力的作用。弯矩相当于均布载荷作用的弯矩,其数值跨中最大、两端为零,在弯矩作用下,臂架上弦杆受压、下弦杆受拉。横向剪力的数值跨中为零、两端最大,横向剪力由臂架两端的腹杆承受。
为减少臂架自重弯矩和横向剪力的影响,提出了自重弯矩和剪力的减载方法,给出一种人字形组合臂架,下层臂架为双臂结构,上层臂架为单臂结构,上层臂节可变臂长使用。上、下层之间设置转换节,转换节上布置钢丝绳导向滑轮组或平衡滑轮组,依靠起升或变幅钢丝绳的拉臂作用来抵消臂架自重弯矩和剪力的影响,进而提高臂架的承载力,如图1所示。
采用变幅钢丝绳拉臂时,可根据臂长组合的变化、臂架自重弯矩的大小,选择不同的拉臂绳根数,或者调整变幅滑轮组的倍率,以得到合适的拉臂力。带钢丝绳拉臂的绕绳方法如图2所示。
起升导向滑轮组设置在臂架转换节上,由于起升钢丝绳拉力的作用,在转换节位置产生向上的载荷,使臂架产生弯矩,相当于跨中集中载荷产生的弯矩,该载荷使臂架的上弦杆受拉、下弦杆受压,与臂架自重效应产生的弯矩方向相反,进而削弱了臂架自重产生的弯矩。起升钢丝绳拉力产生的弯矩,其数值中间大、两端为零,与自重弯矩变化趋势也相同,在各个截面处的弯矩互相削弱,其受力和弯矩如图3所示。
空载下臂架受力小,重载下臂架受力大,起升载荷越大,起升钢丝绳拉臂力就越大,抵消臂架自身弯矩的作用就越大,即起升载荷越大,对臂架的减载作用就越大。钢丝绳拉臂的绕绳方法有效减小了大载荷下臂架的弯矩,使危险工况和危险截面处的载荷更小,结构更安全。
臂架自重载荷作用下各截面剪力如图4所示,剪力是由腹杆承受的,臂架跨中附加的腹杆受力很小,显然该处腹杆的承载力未充分利用。在钢丝绳拉臂作用下,使臂架跨中附近的截面剪力增大,跨端附近的截面剪力减小,进而对跨端的腹杆减载,使各截面处腹杆的承载更加均匀。
除采用起升钢丝绳拉臂方案外,也可采用变幅钢丝绳进行拉臂,臂架中部设置变幅平衡滑轮组,变幅钢丝绳的末端最后绕入该滑轮组,使变幅钢丝绳提供拉臂力。大幅度时臂架自重弯矩大,臂架中心与竖直线夹角大,变幅力就大,进而变幅钢丝绳提供的拉臂力大,削弱臂架自重弯矩的作用就越大;小幅度时臂架自重弯矩小,臂架中心与竖直线夹角小,变幅力就小,进而变幅钢丝绳提供的拉臂力就小。因此,不同幅度下变幅钢丝绳提供的拉臂力,对臂架自重弯矩的削弱作用也是同步的。
钢丝绳拉臂的绕绳方法,也可在臂架的不同位置设置多个拉臂点,在危险工况下,通过起升钢丝绳和变幅钢丝绳的共同作用,使臂架自重弯矩接近抵消,或者使臂架在部分截面处出现反弯矩,减小受力最大弦杆的轴力,使臂架上下弦杆的轴力相等,进而使臂架的设计达到最优,如图5所示。
由于重物中心竖直线与变幅拉索的交点不在臂架中心上,对臂架产生附加弯矩,其数值从臂架头部到臂架根部线性减小为零。大幅度时,该弯矩与臂架自重弯矩方向相同,相互叠加,因此多点拉臂时,拉臂点应靠近臂架头部方向设置。
人字形组合臂架分为上、下两层,底部设置横梁,横梁与根部节通过矩形法兰+螺栓连接,下层臂节之间通过销轴连接,下层臂节之间可互换。中部设置转换节,顶部设置独立臂头,臂头与头部节通过矩形法兰+螺栓连接,上层臂节之间通过销轴连接,并可互换。上、下层臂节的截面不同,通过布置不同数量的上层臂节来实现不同臂长的组合,如图6所示。
根据设计需要可以将滑轮组布置在臂架上部,也可以布置在臂架轴心上,这里按滑轮组布置在臂架上部考虑。针对起升钢丝绳拉臂方案,臂架转换节上布置起升导向滑轮组,两根或多根起升钢丝绳通过臂架转换节后再进入臂架头部,起吊重物时,起升钢丝绳产生的拉力提供拉臂力,带起升钢丝绳拉臂的臂架结构如图7所示。
针对变幅钢丝绳拉臂方案,臂架转换节上布置变幅平衡滑轮,两根变幅钢丝绳末端最后绕入该平衡滑轮,起吊重物时,变幅钢丝绳产生的拉力提供拉臂力。带变幅钢丝绳拉臂的臂架结构如图8所示。
以最大额定起重量500 t桅杆起重机(以下简称桅杆起重机)为例,不同工况下的工作幅度、起升滑轮组倍率、臂架位置等参数见表2,夹角定义如图2所示。不计载荷系数和臂架风载荷,将臂架自重折算到头部,并考虑起升和变幅系统在臂架头部产生的积重。

起升和变幅钢丝绳对臂架的轴力仅作用在臂架的上弦杆上,忽略钢丝绳对臂架截面中心产生的附加弯矩作用,钢丝绳对臂架作用的受力如图10所示。
针对含起升钢丝绳、变幅钢丝绳拉臂作用和不含钢丝绳拉臂作用的各种方案,对最大额定起重量的最大幅度和最小幅度两种工况进行分析。将转环节处的臂架截面视为危险截面,分别对自重弯矩和钢丝绳作用弯矩进行计算,进而验算臂架轴压力、臂架自重弯矩、钢丝绳拉力和钢丝绳作用弯矩等载荷对臂架弦杆产生的轴力,比较各自占比情况,其数值见表4
通过计算可知,只含起升钢丝绳拉臂作用或变幅钢丝绳拉臂的方案可使臂架弦杆最大轴力减小约20%,同时采用变幅钢丝绳和单根起升钢丝绳拉臂作用的方案可使臂架弦杆最大轴力减小约30%。当采用变幅钢丝绳和起升钢丝绳联合拉臂作用时,臂架出现了反弯,即总弯矩作用下臂架的上弦杆受拉、下弦杆受压。
最大幅度下,臂架腹杆处于危险工况,钢丝绳沿臂架截面的分力,降低臂架自重在其两端产生的剪力,减小两端附近腹杆的轴力,改善臂架腹杆受力情况,见表5。由表5可知,钢丝绳拉臂作用对臂架跨端腹杆的轴力减少约30%。
因此,当采用钢丝绳拉臂方案时,钢丝绳拉臂力几乎可抵消臂架自重弯矩的影响。将臂架弦杆轴力、腹杆轴力和整体稳定应力减小约30%,进而对臂架进行深度优化。
通过臂架中部设置转换节,其上布置钢丝绳导向滑轮组或平衡滑轮组,钢丝绳沿导向滑轮组走臂架中部,钢丝绳的拉臂效应能够大大削弱臂架自重载荷产生的弯矩作用。
对臂架弦杆而言,使四根弦杆的最大压力减小,最小压力增大,所受载荷更加均匀;对不同工况而言,使最小幅度和最大幅度等各种工况下臂架的承载更加接近,进而使臂架的承载能力得到充分利用。
(1)介绍动臂起重机臂架的受力特点,从臂架稳定性验证公式出发,采用减小臂架变幅平面内弯矩的方法来提高其强度和稳定性。阐述人字形组合臂架结构形式和构造特点,臂架中部设置转换节,钢丝绳通过转换节后再绕入臂架头部,通过钢丝绳的拉臂作用使臂架弯矩减载。
(2)通过最大额定起重量为500 t的桅杆起重机实例,计算臂架轴压力、臂架自身弯矩和钢丝绳拉力等载荷对臂架弦杆产生的轴力,计算臂架两端截面剪力,并分析其占比情况。结果表明,钢丝绳拉臂方案可以使桅杆起重机的臂架优化30%。说明钢丝绳拉臂作用能够有效减小臂架自重弯矩和剪力的影响,并抵消臂架受压最大弦杆的部分轴力,同时抵消臂架两端腹杆的部分轴力。
(3)钢丝绳拉臂方案有别于腰绳的作用,履带起重机的臂架常采用设置腰绳的方式减小弯矩的影响,但是通常多在地面起臂时使用。腰绳是静态的钢丝绳,独立于起升钢丝绳和变幅钢丝绳之外,不参与起重机各机构的动作。腰绳不提供变幅拉力,且受力复杂,绳拉力不易明确。起升钢丝绳和变幅钢丝绳是运动的钢丝绳,均提供变幅拉力。
(4)大幅度时臂架自重弯矩大,变幅力大;小幅度时臂架自重弯矩小,变幅力小,即在不同幅度时,变幅钢丝绳拉力对臂架自重弯矩的折减同步,因此应优先采用变幅钢丝绳拉臂方案。钢丝绳拉臂作用的绕绳方法适用于各类动臂起重机的臂架设计,通过钢丝绳拉臂作用使臂架中部有了支承,缩短了臂架的计算长度,限制了臂架沿自身弯矩方向的变形和屈曲,提高了臂架在变幅平面的整体稳定性,利于臂架结构的轻量化设计,改善起重机远端性能曲线,使远端工况下臂架结构更安全。该方法对动臂起重机的臂架设计有一定指导意义。
(5)设计中从整体上把握一台车,用机构专业方法解决结构设计问题,统筹兼顾机构和结构设计,将滑轮组倍率选择、钢丝绳缠绕方法和臂架结构设计相结合,分析利弊,进而对臂架进行优化设计,提高整机性能。
