Satellite resources on board are limited and precious, and ground terminals in real communication scenarios have different geographic distribution and satellite communication service demands, so dynamic on board satellite resource management is needed to design flexible and efficient resource management schemes. In this paper, the use of hopping beam technology can provide flexible resource management at the beam level to solve the problem of unbalanced service demand between ground cells covered by point beams generated by high-throughput satellites. Firstly, in order to solve the problem of co-channel interference in beamhopping satellites, an interference avoidance strategy between beam-hopping clusters based on frequency mode switching is proposed. Further, two cluster configuration strategies, uniform and non-uniform clustering, are proposed. In order to solve the problem of poor equalization effect of uniform clustering and unsuitable for the dynamic change of the ground, combined with the problem of co-channel interference, a non-uniform cluster configuration strategy based on frequency mode switching is proposed for the interference avoidance strategy between beam-hopping clusters. Finally, the interference avoidance strategy is verified and simulated. Besides,the different clustering strategies are verified based on various intelligent optimization algorithms. The simulation results verify the feasibility of the clustered configuration and show that the non-uniform clustering algorithm with no distance limitation has the strongest flow-balancing ability.

星上资源有限且珍贵,而在真实的通信场景中,地面终端用户地理位置分布和卫星通信业务需求各不相同,因此需要进行动态星上资源管理,并设计灵活高效的资源管理方案。本文利用跳波束技术提供波束级别灵活的资源管理,解决高通量卫星产生的点波束覆盖地面小区之间业务需求量不均衡的问题。首先,针对跳波束卫星存在共信道干扰的问题,提出了基于频率模式切换的跳波束簇间干扰避免策略;然后,提出均匀分簇和非均匀分簇两种分簇构型策略,针对均匀分簇均衡效果差、不适用于地面动态变化的问题和共信道干扰问题,提出了基于频率模式切换的跳波束簇间干扰避免策略的非均匀分簇构型方案;最后,对干扰避免策略进行仿真,同时基于多种智能优化算法对不同的分簇策略进行验证,证明所提分簇构型的可行性,并表明无距离限制的非均匀分簇算法的流量均衡能力较传统分簇算法更强。

星上资源有限且珍贵,而在真实的通信场景中,地面终端用户地理位置分布和卫星通信业务需求各不相同,因此需要进行动态星上资源管理,并设计灵活高效的资源管理方案。本文利用跳波束技术提供波束级别灵活的资源管理,解决高通量卫星产生的点波束覆盖地面小区之间业务需求量不均衡的问题。首先,针对跳波束卫星存在共信道干扰的问题,提出了基于频率模式切换的跳波束簇间干扰避免策略;然后,提出均匀分簇和非均匀分簇两种分簇构型策略,针对均匀分簇均衡效果差、不适用于地面动态变化的问题和共信道干扰问题,提出了基于频率模式切换的跳波束簇间干扰避免策略的非均匀分簇构型方案;最后,对干扰避免策略进行仿真,同时基于多种智能优化算法对不同的分簇策略进行验证,证明所提分簇构型的可行性,并表明无距离限制的非均匀分簇算法的流量均衡能力较传统分簇算法更强。

Satellite resources on board are limited and precious, and ground terminals in real communication scenarios have different geographic distribution and satellite communication service demands, so dynamic on board satellite resource management is needed to design flexible and efficient resource management schemes. In this paper, the use of hopping beam technology can provide flexible resource management at the beam level to solve the problem of unbalanced service demand between ground cells covered by point beams generated by high-throughput satellites. Firstly, in order to solve the problem of co-channel interference in beamhopping satellites, an interference avoidance strategy between beam-hopping clusters based on frequency mode switching is proposed. Further, two cluster configuration strategies, uniform and non-uniform clustering, are proposed. In order to solve the problem of poor equalization effect of uniform clustering and unsuitable for the dynamic change of the ground, combined with the problem of co-channel interference, a non-uniform cluster configuration strategy based on frequency mode switching is proposed for the interference avoidance strategy between beam-hopping clusters. Finally, the interference avoidance strategy is verified and simulated. Besides,the different clustering strategies are verified based on various intelligent optimization algorithms. The simulation results verify the feasibility of the clustered configuration and show that the non-uniform clustering algorithm with no distance limitation has the strongest flow-balancing ability.

随着未来互联网的需求不断增长,卫星通信能够克服地形等因素的不利影响,在广播和多播等业务中提供广泛覆盖服务,具有持续发展的应用前景,成为未来互联网架构的关键提供者[1]。目前,多波束卫星通信系统的发展趋势是设计更加高效的系统,以便实现更大的吞吐量,在波束级别提供灵活的资源管理[2]。为了提升系统容量,高通量卫星(High Throughput Satellite, HTS)系统应运而生,然而,初代HTS系统是在容量均匀分布的模型上提出的,这种模型下的每个点波束是固定覆盖在所需的地理区域上,其采用均匀分配功率的方式,没有考虑流量需求的影响,因此严重限制了星上载荷的灵活性。在真实的通信场景中,地面终端用户地理位置分布和业务需求各不相同,因此需要进行灵活的星上资源管理[3]
由于星上资源是有限且珍贵的,因此设计灵活高效的资源管理方案非常重要。同时,由于HTS卫星系统会有几十甚至上百的波束数,波束数量较多,直接将跳波束图案设计应用于总的波束中会有以下缺陷:一方面是由于波束数量较大,波束资源调度器需要计算跳波束图案所花费的时间代价会较大;另一方面也不便于资源管理和突发情况的处理,如果系统中总的资源调度器出现故障,则会直接影响到整个跳波束系统的资源分配结果,降低整个系统的稳健性,因此,需要对跳波束卫星系统的波束进行分簇管理[4]
跳波束分簇是在传统跳波束系统的基础上,对跳波束卫星覆盖区域的所有波束进行分区管理,将不同的波束分为一个集群,在各自的集群之间和集群内部进行资源管理和分配调度。在跳波束分簇构型研究方向上,许多专家和学者设计了各种各样不同的分簇方案。文献[5]提出了一种跳波束图案优化方法,通过采用波束分簇的策略来解决全带宽跳波束卫星通信系统中的干扰问题,通过设定波束距离阈值来规避干扰,提升系统容量。文献[6]不同于以往采用均匀聚类固定分配每个簇波束数和簇大小的方法,提出了一种动态聚类方法来平衡集群之间的流量需求,并通过联合跳波束和预编码算法以抑制簇内干扰,提高了卫星网络的性能。文献[7]与之类似,提出了一种簇跳跃的概念,确定每次跳跃的簇集合和停留时间,并结合跳波束和预编码进行建模求解,通过数值模拟验证了所提方案的可行性。文献[8]提出了一种重叠聚类算法,通过将相邻的波束簇设置为一个共享组,来实现簇间传输资源的共享,解决因为流量需求分布不均导致的集群之间的资源不满足或资源剩余,通过小批量随机梯度下降的最优波束分配算法,以最大化系统吞吐量。文献[9]通过卫星分区的方法,提出了一种跳波束分簇的资源分配方法,系统在业务需求分布不均匀的情况下,资源利用率有所提升。文献[10]采用启发式的动态分簇方法,对临近的波束进行分簇流量均衡,但这种均衡优化在全局最优解方面具有一定的局限性,此外,由于距离的约束可能会导致均衡的效果不够理想。文献[11]采用的是传统的临近均匀分簇,将分簇数目与目标函数建立了联系,研究了分簇数目对供需目标函数的影响。可以看出,虽然已经有一些关于分簇方法的研究,但关于跳波束分簇原理的研究还比较少,大部分关于跳波束的资源分配都是直接默认邻近区域的波束分簇,或采用固定聚类均匀分簇,不能满足服务需求的动态变化。同时,随着跳波束的应用,现有研究忽略了波束之间或簇之间潜在的频率干扰,虽然可以通过空间隔离和簇内预编码来抑制干扰[12,13],但属于同一簇的所有波束仍然必须同时工作并进行预编码,还是无法避免卫星资源的浪费。
综上所述,虽然现有研究已经提出了部分跳波束分簇构型的研究方案,但是缺乏相对真实的用户流量需求模型,存在设计复杂且不适用于现实地面分布不均衡和动态变化的问题。同时,现有研究大部分是基于邻近划分原则或采用固定聚类均匀分簇,难以满足服务需求的动态变化。因此,本文首先对跳波束卫星覆盖下的区域建立业务流量需求模型,进一步根据每个波束覆盖区域的业务需求量对所有的波束进行分簇,最终实现簇与簇之间流量均衡的目的。主要研究工作总结如下:
① 首先,分析跳波束卫星分簇构型以往的研究方法,总结现有研究中存在的问题和不足之处,提出新型分簇构型方案,建立簇间流量均衡系统模型和数学模型。
② 针对跳波束卫星存在共信道干扰的问题,从空间隔离角度确定最大同频复用距离,进而提出基于频率模式切换的跳波束簇间干扰避免策略。
③ 研究对分簇均衡效果产生影响的因素,设计不同的分簇构型方案,通过智能算法对优化问题进行求解,确定适合跳波束通信系统流量均衡效果的合理分簇方法。
④ 针对均匀分簇构型均衡效果差、不适用于地面动态变化需求的问题,且跳波束卫星存在共信道干扰的问题,提出了基于频率模式切换的跳波束簇间干扰避免策略的非均匀分簇构型策略,并仿真验证所提分簇构型的可行性,对比分析所提模型的业务流量均衡效果。
本文考虑的系统场景如图1所示,包括一个携带有跳波束控制器的GEO多波束卫星、地面用户和信关站。跳波束控制器的主要功能是分析接收到的跳波束计划表,进行波束之间的数据流切换,携带有跳波束控制器的GEO多波束卫星,可以为固定用户终端提供广播和互联网、多媒体等宽带服务。
研究场景主要是针对携带跳波束控制器的GEO多波束卫星的前向链路波束簇划分问题,该卫星产生NB个点波束覆盖地面小区域,从而产生NB个波位,假设第i个小区的终端数为ni个,把其中每个小区i在时隙t时刻的业务需求量定义为来自该小区的卫星各个终端的业务需求之和:
在分簇之前,本节参考文献[6]建立出中国地图上的50个点波束覆盖图,如图2所示,同时给出50个不同小区的峰值流量需求模型,如图3所示。
图3中可以看出,地面波束之间的需求量差异较大,有的地区需求量很高,相反有的地区却较低。因此,为了便于进行高效的资源管理,需要对波束进行分簇优化。分簇的目标是为了均衡各个波束簇的需求量,使每个波束簇中的总需求量尽量接近,最终实现未满足的容量最小化总目标。具体的优化目标可以表示为:
其中,RCi表示第i个簇需求的总容量,RCj表示第j个簇需求的总容量,Nc表示最终分得簇的数量,约束条件1表示最终分得簇的数量至少为1个簇,最多为波束数量;约束条件2表示最终分得簇的数量为正整数。
考量空间隔离,先确定最大的同频复用距离门限,而后分析点亮波束间距离变化对用户信干噪比的影响,从而较为合理地分析不同位置波束之间的干扰差异。如图4所示,建立跳波束卫星通信系统干扰模型,仿真并分析波束N中的用户P与波束M之间的距离,以及点亮波束半径的变化对用户P的影响。
此时,分配给第i个波束簇的业务量可以表示为:
其中,Iintra代表簇内干扰,Iinter代表簇间干扰。由于每个时隙每个簇内只点亮一个波束,因此簇内波束间的同频干扰可以通过时间隔离的方式进行有效规避,即Iintra=0。然而,当簇与簇之间的点亮波束全频复用时,若此时点亮波束的距离较近时,便可能会引发簇间波束干扰,当用户P的接收天线中心一直对准卫星,簇间干扰与卫星发射天线增益、接收天线增益以及受同频干扰的波束个数均有关系,即:
图5所示,当波束中心距离为3~4倍以上的r时,共信道干扰的影响与噪声影响相差不大,因此可以忽略。尽管如此,仅靠空间隔离并不能完全解决干扰问题,特别是当同时工作的波束之间距离接近的话,它们之间的干扰会显著降低信号质量。
在对多波束卫星通信系统的干扰问题进行分析的基础之上,提出基于频率模式切换的跳波束簇间干扰避免策略,从以下三个角度开展共信道干扰策略研究。
① 干扰检测与模式切换
引入了一个星上资源控制器,负责实时监测每个时隙内系统所遭受的干扰水平。一旦检测到干扰超过预设阈值,系统将自动从全频复用模式切换到多色频率复用模式。这一智能响应机制能够有效减少邻近波束间的干扰,增强系统的稳定性和通信质量。
② 频谱分配算法
在多色频率复用模式中,设计了一种精细化的频谱分配算法。该算法首先评估全频复用条件下各波束所接收的总干扰水平,并与同频复用门限值进行比较。根据这一比较结果,波束被划分为两个类别:可忽略干扰类波束和不可忽略干扰类波束。可忽略干扰类波束与其余波束间的干扰值低于设定的干扰门限,因此,它们可以正常使用全部频带资源,不会受到显著影响。针对不可忽略干扰类波束,算法将进行特别的频谱分配,以避免干扰。在这一类别中,总带宽会根据波束的实际通信需求量进行智能划分。
③ 优化问题构建与求解
对于不可忽略干扰类的波束,建立了以最小化带权重因子的供需比为目标的优化问题。通过求解这一优化问题,能够为每个波束确定最优的带宽分配,从而在保证服务质量的同时,最大化频谱资源的利用效率。
因此,本文基于频率模式切换的跳波束簇间干扰避免策略,提出了基于FMS的跳波束簇间IAS的非均匀分簇构型方案,在该方案中,Iinter=0,因此,SCi变量表达式可以表示为
均匀波束分簇算法保证每个波束簇中有相等数量的波束,实现均匀划分。情况A布局示例如图6所示,图中给出每7个波束为一簇时的跳波束系统用户波束均匀分簇布局示例,其中相邻的相同颜色的波束为一簇。情况B布局示例如图7所示,图中给出颜色相同的波束可以为一个簇。情况A是分成的每个簇的簇内波束之间必须相邻,情况B是分成的每个簇只要求数量相等,不增加必须相邻的要求。情况A下的簇是传统意义上邻近几个波束构成一个簇,而情况B是指归为一个簇的波束没有距离限制。
由于每个波束簇中的波束数量都为M=NB/NC,但不同的分簇数目下整个系统的性能会有所不同,因此需要研究分簇数目对目标函数的影响,求出最优的分簇数目NC和函数最优值,为此所建立的优化目标函数如下:
其中,SCi表示分配给第i个波束簇的业务量,RCi表示第i个波束簇的总业务需求量,第i个波束簇中的点波束数量为Mi。为避免资源浪费,约束条件1表示分配的业务量不大于请求的业务量。
对于情况A,分簇构型较为简单,只需要根据邻近波束成簇的原则把所有波束分组;而对于情况B,本节建立了以下使最终分好的波束簇与波束簇之间的波束需求量尽量接近的优化模型:
其中,Rtot表示所有波束的总需求量;需要求解的波束的分簇矩阵X是一个NC×NB的矩阵,其中每行代表一个簇,每列代表一个波束,矩阵中每一个元素xi,jЄ{0,1},当xi,j=1时,表示波束j被分到了簇i中;当xi,j=0时,表示波束j没有被分到簇i中。约束条件1表示每个波束只能分到一个簇中;约束条件2表示每个簇中的波束数量相等且都为M=NB/NC;约束条件3表示分得的簇的数量至少为1至多个波束数量。
在均匀分簇的基础上,为了进一步满足地面动态变化的场景需求,在本节中进一步提出了第二种非均匀的波束分簇方法,非均匀的波束分簇布局示例图如图8所示。在非均匀波束分簇算法中,每个波束簇中的波束数量不一定相等,波束簇的划分需要满足簇间通信业务需求量均衡的原则,即簇与簇之间的业务需求量要尽量接近,同时也考虑到波束地理位置的条件限制,将地理上接近的波束分到一个簇里。由于多波束卫星可以灵活控制波束,过于苛刻的分簇位置限制会影响簇间的流量均衡效果,因此在分簇时,主要考虑的是簇间流量均衡,不考虑波束位置的限制条件。此外,区别于传统的均匀分簇,即每个簇内波束数量严格相等且距离必须相邻。因此,本节采取非均匀分簇的灵活划分方式,即每个波束簇中的波束数量不一定相等。
以波束簇与波束簇之间的波束需求量尽量接近为优化目标,所构建的目标函数如下:
该优化问题是一个非线性0~1整数规划问题,但在分簇时分簇的个数NC会对优化结果有一定影响,因此需要进一步限制其范围。每个簇的需求量均值为Ra=Rtot/NC,在所有波束中需求量大于均值Ra的波束个数为N0,这些波束各自成为一簇,波束的总需求量为RN0。由于N0NC,剩余的分簇数需要满足,因此目标函数可改写为:
虽然上述问题可以通过多种方式进行求解,但是由于该问题中的波束数量较多,计算结果复杂。如果将50个波束分成NC个簇,那么一共会有种分簇结果。当取NC=2时,都会有1.126×1015种结果,当增大NC时结果会更多。因此,无法采用传统的暴力搜索算法进行求解,需要通过一些智能优化算法来解决该问题。
遗传算法是一种模拟进化过程的随机优化方法[14]。在该算法中,解集被视为一个总体。每个个体代表一个解。在遗传算法的迭代过程中,解空间逐渐扩展,同时可以留下更好的解,这样可以有效地减少过多的解空间。在用遗传算法寻找最优解的过程中,不需要对目标函数进行导数运算。该算法采用基于概率的优化方法对搜索空间进行自适应调整。此外,遗传算法可以实现并行计算,计算效率高,在求解过程中,可自适应调整搜索空间,最终得到全局最优解。
粒子群算法也是一种基于群体智能的进化计算方法,源于复杂适应系统[15]。对鸟群捕食行为的研究,把一个优化问题看作是在空中觅食的鸟群,则“食物”就是优化问题的最优解,在空中飞行的每一只觅食的“鸟”就是粒子群算法在解空间中进行搜索的一个“粒子”。用随机初始化一群随机粒子,通过迭代找到最优解,每一次迭代中粒子通过跟踪个体极值和群体极值来更新自己,每个粒子不断地改变其在解空间中的速度,尽可能地朝着最优解所指的方向收敛。该算法搜索速度快,具有记忆性并且需要调整的参数较少,结构简单。但粒子群算法主要是用于优化连续实数值问题,对于分簇问题需要对其离散化,其主要步骤如下:
首先初始化粒子位置和速度,生成一组初始解,然后根据公式(9)进行速度和位置的更新:

通过概率映射的方式,根据公式(10)、公式(11)所示,通过SIGMOD函数将速度映射到[0,1]区间,作为粒子下一步取值为1的概率:
因此基于全局优化的特点,本文采用遗传算法和粒子群算法求解跳波束卫星下行链路业务需求流量均衡的分簇优化问题。
为了评估所提出的基于频率模式切换的跳波束簇间干扰避免策略在前10个时隙中的有效性,进行相关仿真设计。以4 r为同频复用距离,根据干扰公式可以计算出单个波束的干扰门限为32.769 8 dB,信干噪比门限为47.167 5 dB,则总的干扰门限可以设置为32.769 8×5=163.848 8 dB。如图9图10所示是每个时隙每个簇中点亮波束受到别的簇中波束干扰变化以及每个时隙系统中的总干扰。从图9可以看出,在每个时隙中波束之间的同频干扰问题不可忽略,不同时隙的干扰情况比较复杂,各个时隙超过干扰阈值的干扰波束也是不断变化的,因此需要对每个时隙进行干扰避免,同时这种动态变化要求干扰管理策略必须具备灵活性和适应性。进一步观察图10可以看出,除了第8个时隙之外,其他时隙内的总干扰都超过了干扰门限,需要进行干扰避免。
针对每个时隙,根据所提出的簇间干扰避免策略进行带宽分配,最终的分配结果如图11所示,同时又进行了干扰避免后的簇间干扰仿真,仿真结果如图12所示。从图11中可以看出,每个时隙中不可忽略干扰类的波束簇,以及它们之间的业务量分配情况,在不同时刻受干扰的波束数量不同。因为通过带宽分配灵活地避免了这些波束之间的干扰,最终在每个时隙各个簇之间的波束干扰情况如图12所示,干扰值大于0的波束可以使用全部的频带资源,而干扰值等于0的波束通过使用不同的频带避免了距离邻近所带来的同频干扰,符合干扰避免的预期结果。
由于星上资源是有限的,本节假设在星上资源的分配量小于需求量的情况下进行分簇仿真。
在均匀分簇优化问题中,按照是否要求波束之间相邻的关系,将其转化成两种不同的情况。情况一是分成的每个簇中的波束之间被要求必须相邻,情况二是分成的每个簇只要求数量相等,不增加必须相邻的要求。在情况一中,将相邻的10个波束分成一簇,其中每个簇中的需求如图13所示。在情况二中,按照簇间流量均衡的准则对波束进行均匀分簇,不限制波束的分簇距离,与非均匀分簇算法的求解方法类似,采用粒子群算法进行求解,该算法的目标函数适应度曲线如图14所示。
分簇点亮矩阵如图15所示,每一行代表一个簇,每一行被选中在该行所在簇的波束所在位置为“1”,计算得每一簇的需求量分别为311,316,307,241,310.5 Mbps。
本节分别通过遗传算法和粒子群算法对非均匀分簇优化进行求解。所建立的遗传算法和粒子群算法优化模型的仿真参数设置如表1所示。
在遗传算法中,采用目标函数作为适应度函数,仿真收敛曲线图如图16所示,最终的优化矩阵如图17所示。其中,从上到下每一簇中的波束个数分别为12、7、11、10、10,每一簇的需求量分别为310.5、310.5、310.5、310、310 Mbps。
由于分簇个数可能会对优化结果造成一定影响,因此进一步分析了当分簇数目不同时的优化结果,如图18所示。从图18中可以看出:当分簇数目逐渐增加时,目标函数的值整体会不断增大;当波束分簇的数量达到6以上时,目标函数的最优值整体开始有明显的增大。可以看出,分簇数目越多越难以实现簇内流量均衡,也就是说,难以实现分成的每个簇之间需求量接近的目标。因此,一方面要尽可能使得各个簇之间的流量尽量接近,另一方面也要考虑使分得的簇的个数不能太少。
为了避免波束间的干扰,需要限制每个簇只点亮一个波束,因此需要更多的簇。同时需要在每个簇中进行跳波束图案设计,使得每个地面小区都能够得到更好的服务。综合上述两点考虑,本方案选择cluster=5的分簇方案,将波束分成5簇。
在粒子群算法中同样将目标函数作为适应度值,仿真收敛曲线图如图19所示。最终的优化矩阵XP图20所示,其中从上到下每一簇中的波束个数分别为11、6、8、8、17,每一簇的需求量分别为310.5、310.5、310、310、310.5 Mbps。
同样,将粒子群算法和遗传算法进行对比,如图21所示。从图21中可以看出粒子群算法和遗传算法二者虽然求出的最优值是一样的,但是遗传算法比粒子群算法能更快收敛到最优值,性能相对来说更好。虽然二者求出的目标函数最优值相同,但最优解可以不同。
图22中可以看出,非均匀分簇整体相较于均匀分簇流量均衡效果是更好的,更适用于地面业务需求量不均衡的场景。由于相比于非均匀分簇,均匀分簇相当于在非均匀分簇中添加了一个簇中波束数量的约束条件,因此在分簇过程中会影响分簇均衡的效果。在均匀分簇的两种不同情况中可以看出,在邻近波束成簇的方案中,最终分得的簇与簇之间的差异很大,这是由于地域经济、人口等因素的影响导致不同地区本身的需求量差异很大。而在均匀无距离限制的波束成簇方案中,由于不限制波束成簇的距离,可以更加灵活地将波束按照流量均衡进行分簇。在非均匀分簇方案中,由于粒子群算法受限于波数数量的限制,不一定是最优解,因此非均匀遗传算法比粒子群算法求得的分簇结果更好。
本文在跳波束卫星下行链路中,构建了均匀分簇和非均匀分簇两种模型。在均匀波束分簇构型中仿真了波束需求量和分配业务量对目标函数的影响。在非均匀波束分簇构型中,在对跳波束卫星共信道干扰分析基础之上,提出了基于频率模式切换的跳波束簇间干扰避免策略的非均匀波束分簇构型,分别通过遗传算法和粒子群算法仿真了非均匀分簇优化问题。仿真结果表明,所提出的非均匀分簇算法与均匀分簇算法相比,具有优秀的流量均衡能力,更适应动态变化的地面需求场景。
