DRO orbit in cislunar space is a kind of periodic orbit with great value and mission potential. The scientific exploration satellite on DRO orbit has the requirement of timely down-transmission of critical buret data of scientific payload and global coverage of measurement and control management. This paper analyzes the basic capability of BDS-3 global short message. The cis-lunar space TT&C data transmission scheme and TT&C data transmission process are designed based on the BDS-3 global short message, and the key technologies are analyzed. The research and analysis show that the cislunar space TI&C data transmission scheme based on the BDS-3 global short message can make up for the gap of ground-based TT&C, and realize the low-cost TT&C data transmission in all weather and all day.

地月空间中的DRO轨道是一类极具价值与任务潜力的周期轨道。针对DRO轨道上科学探测卫星科学载荷突发关键数据及时下传的需求和测控管理全球覆盖的需求,在分析北斗三号全球短报文基本能力的基础上,基于北斗三号全球短报文完成地月空间系统测控数传方案和测控数传流程的设计,并对关键技术进行分析。研究分析表明:基于北斗三号全球短报文的地月空间测控数传方案能够弥补地基测控的测控间隙,实现全天候全天时的低成本测控数传。

地月空间中的DRO轨道是一类极具价值与任务潜力的周期轨道。针对DRO轨道上科学探测卫星科学载荷突发关键数据及时下传的需求和测控管理全球覆盖的需求,在分析北斗三号全球短报文基本能力的基础上,基于北斗三号全球短报文完成地月空间系统测控数传方案和测控数传流程的设计,并对关键技术进行分析。研究分析表明:基于北斗三号全球短报文的地月空间测控数传方案能够弥补地基测控的测控间隙,实现全天候全天时的低成本测控数传。

DRO orbit in cislunar space is a kind of periodic orbit with great value and mission potential. The scientific exploration satellite on DRO orbit has the requirement of timely down-transmission of critical buret data of scientific payload and global coverage of measurement and control management. This paper analyzes the basic capability of BDS-3 global short message. The cis-lunar space TT&C data transmission scheme and TT&C data transmission process are designed based on the BDS-3 global short message, and the key technologies are analyzed. The research and analysis show that the cislunar space TI&C data transmission scheme based on the BDS-3 global short message can make up for the gap of ground-based TT&C, and realize the low-cost TT&C data transmission in all weather and all day.

地月空间是指地球大气以外延伸至月球轨道的宇宙空间,具有丰富的物质、能源、位置、环境等战略资源[1]。在地月空间的大量周期轨道中,远距离逆行环月轨道(Distant Retrograde Orbit, DRO)是一种轨道半径约为6.15万公里的高月球轨道,是一类极具价值与任务潜力的周期轨道[2]。在这条轨道上,卫星几乎可以不耗费任何燃料,就能长期稳定地运行,且DRO轨道上的航天器对整个地月空间具备良好的覆盖性。因此对于地月空间建设、开发和利用的探索具有十分重要的意义。
当前,对于地月空间航天器的测控仍以地基测控为主,但是我国目前深空测控网资源有限,其测控站的位置几何分布对环月轨道航天器的测控覆盖率在90%左右,仍存在一定的测控间隙[35]。DRO轨道上的科学探测卫星配置多个科学实验载荷,当产生的突发关键科学数据需要及时下传至地面时,现有测控站数量和分布情况难以实现对其全天候实时测控和接收下传数据。
王文彬等人在中国科学院战略性先导科技专项的支持下,开展了地月空间DRO-LEO编队系统的相关研究[6,7]。北斗三号全球短报文功能可以实现对轨道在1 000 km以下航天器的覆盖,可实现对近地轨道(Low Earth Orbit, LEO)卫星全轨道、准实时的关键状态监视、载荷控制和应用效能快速评估等[8]。为了支持DRO轨道上科学探测卫星科学载荷关键科学数据、测控相关的重要信息即时下传至地面,弥补地基测控的测控间隙,在地月空间DRO-LEO编队系统中的LEO卫星上配备短报文通信载荷,将DRO卫星上科学载荷关键科学数据和测控相关重要信息通过星间链路传送至LEO卫星,再由LEO卫星上的短报文通信载荷经由北斗系统下传至地面站,实现低成本测控数传。地月空间DRO-LEO编队系统示意图如图1所示。
本文在分析北斗三号全球短报文能力的基础上,完成地月空间DRO-LEO编队系统基于北斗全球短报文通信的整体测控数传方案设计,并对关键技术进行分析,推动北斗三号全球短报文通信服务在地月空间科学和宇宙探测中的应用。
2020年7月31日,北斗三号全球卫星导航系统正式开通运行,提供定位导航授时服务,并融合通信数传功能,实现全球、区域短报文通信及国际搜救服务等[9,10]。北斗短报文功能将通信和导航融合,是北斗卫星导航系统的一项特色服务。
北斗三号卫星导航系统在兼容卫星无线电测定业务(Radio Determination Satellite Service,RDSS)体制的基础上,采用广义RDSS体制和无线电导航业务(Radio Navigation Satellite System,RNSS)+短报文通信体制,全面提升了短报文通信的服务能力,服务区域从亚太地区扩展到了全球,可以提供区域短报文通信服务(Regional Short Message Communication,RSMC)与全球短报文通信服务(Global Service Management Center,GSMC),为全球用户提供导航定位授时和通信数传一体的高品质服务[11,12]
GSMC通过14颗MEO卫星为1 000 km高度以下的特许用户提供全球随遇接入服务,主要性能见表1[13]
地月空间DRO-LEO编队系统通信数据量较小且具有短时突发的特点,北斗三号全球短报文支持可变长度数据包,能够满足测控数传的要求,对其测控能力进行分析。
① 测控数传覆盖能力:地月空间DRO-LEO编队系统中的LEO卫星轨道高度小于1 000 km,在北斗三号全球短报文轨道覆盖性能指标以内,能够为LEO卫星提供全球随遇接入服务。
② 测控数传时间:地面测控站与DRO卫星之间单向传输时延由北斗三号全球短报文链路响应时延、DRO卫星和LEO卫星间传输时延组成。北斗三号全球短报文系统响应时延≤60 s,DRO卫星和LEO卫星间传输时延最大为5 s,因此使用北斗三号全球短报文完成地月空间系统测控数传的最大延迟为65 s。通过全球短报文可以实现突发关键科学数据的准实时下传,该下传时延对于突发关键科学数据的应用处理影响甚微。该时延对于无需遥测反馈的遥控指令亦无影响,但对于需要遥测反馈的遥控指令,由于双向时延的影响,将延长整个遥控进程。基于全球短报文的测控数传可以实现准实时测控数传,不影响非强实时性要求的测控数传。
③ 测控数传容量能力:北斗三号全球短报文支持可变长度数据包,其最大单次数传容量为70字节。对于8字节的遥控指令和40字节的短消息类型突发关键科学数据直接采用单次短报文传输即可实现,对于420字节的长消息类型突发关键科学数据,则可以拆分成6包,通过6次短报文数据传输实现,满足测控数传的数据容量要求。
基于北斗三号全球短报文系统的性能和资源,在LEO卫星上配置短报文通信载荷终端,通过接收北斗卫星导航系统B2b信号完成卫星位置解算,并通过全球短报文系统完成遥控指令、关键遥测和科学载荷关键数据的信息传递。基于北斗全球短报文的地月空间卫星测控系统如图2所示,由北斗导航卫星、地月空间系统卫星、北斗系统地面站和地月空间系统测控站组成。
地月空间系统测控站通过短报文终端,经北斗链路向LEO卫星发送遥控指令作为通信前向链路,LEO卫星将遥测信息和科学载荷关键数据信息经过北斗链路发送至短报文终端,再传送到地月空间系统测控站作为通信反向链路,均为“地面短报文终端/短报文通信载荷—北斗卫星—北斗地面站—北斗卫星—短报文通信载荷/地面短报文终端”的信息双跳流程完成测控任务[14,15],具体信息流如图3所示。
根据总体方案设计,短报文通信载荷是地月空间DRO-LEO编队系统利用北斗短报文系统完成测控数传的关键核心载荷。短报文通信载荷采用主备份设计,系统组成如图4所示。北斗出站B2b信号由接收天线接收,经低噪放大后进入下变频信道,再经AD采样送入通道处理模块,通道模块跟踪卫星信号,解调电文信息,控制软件模块完成接收短报文解析处理和定位解算。将待发送的信息内容完成组帧、编码、调制、多普勒补偿后送入上变频信道,信道完成信号上变频、滤波、放大送入功放,功放完成入站信号高功率放大和滤波后发送至发射天线,完成短报文L频段信号发射。
等效全向辐射功率(Equivalent Isotropically Ra-diated Power,EIRP)对短报文通信载荷发射信号的传输质量和覆盖范围具有决定性的影响。为了确保测控数传链路的通信能力,短报文通信载荷的EIRP要满足链路的传输要求,见表2,短报文通信载荷在仰角20°~90°范围内的实际发射EIRP为10 dBW~15.5 dBW,满足链路传输要求。
根据地月空间DRO-LEO编队系统特点,将短报文通信载荷下行参数分为指令遥测数据和科学载荷突发关键数据。短报文通信载荷具体数传流程控制如图5所示,短报文载荷开机接收北斗B2b下行信号,完成电文解析和定位解算后,若收到DRO卫星传至LEO卫星的突发科学载荷数据,则根据当前导航定位结果选择合适的北斗短报文上行卫星,进行多普勒补偿,通过反向通信链路将突发科学载荷数据下传至地月空间系统测控站;若从短报文电文中解析得到通过前向链路上传的地面遥控指令,则将指令转发至载荷管理单元,载荷管理单元识别解析后再将其转发至相关载荷,此遥控指令若是遥测请求下传指令,则根据当前导航定位结果选择合适的北斗短报文上行卫星,进行多普勒补偿,通过反向通信链路将相应的遥测数据下传至地月空间系统测控站。
短报文通信载荷配置在低轨LEO卫星上,LEO卫星具有动态大的特点,且卫星姿态持续缓慢变化,因此短报文通信载荷需要解决以下关键技术。
① 高动态信号捕获跟踪技术
低轨卫星因其高动态特性,对于全球短报文B2b下行信号的捕获跟踪难度要远高于地面静止或者低速运动用户终端。针对低轨卫星的特点,短报文通信载荷设计采用了一种“匹配滤波+FFT”的快速捕获设计,如图6所示,将时域与频域搜索相结合,单次捕获即可同时得到码相位和载波多普勒频率信息。该方法既能实现星载环境下多普勒频率信号的快速捕获,又具有捕获成功概率高的优点,将锁频环的动态跟踪能力和锁相环的跟踪精度相结合,实现稳定跟踪。
② 双天线置星选星策略
LEO卫星配置有两个导航接收天线,分别位于卫星的两个对立面上,同时跟踪接收北斗卫星导航信号,且卫星姿态持续缓慢变化,对通道置星、选星提出了更高的要求。针对LEO卫星这种情况,短报文通信载荷设计采用了先等效置星后选择的方法,即对两个天线通道进行独立顺序置星搜索捕获,捕获稳定跟踪后对两个天线通道卫星进行比较,若有捕获相同的卫星,则保留载噪比较高的通道,将另一通道清除,释放通道;结合北斗系统全球短报文下行信号播发特点,仅对通道置北斗三号MEO和IGSO卫星,提高置星速度和效率。
③ 入站卫星选择及频率补偿技术
北斗三号卫星导航系统要求到达北斗导航卫星的信号频偏要小于1 kHz,因此短报文用户终端需要进行自适应信号频率补偿,使之满足系统要求。同一时刻短报文用户终端可见的具有全球短报文入站能力的卫星数在2~6颗之间,如图7所示。选择不同的导航卫星作为入站接收卫星,其多普勒频偏补偿、天线增益、传输距离等均不同,因此需先选择入站卫星,再进行信号频率补偿。
根据当前短报文通信载荷定位结果选择可视范围内高俯仰角和高载噪比的卫星作为入站卫星。相比较于选择低俯仰角和低载噪比的卫星作为入站卫星,在入站卫星方向上短报文通信载荷的EIRP值较大,且多普勒频偏补偿值相对较小。选定入站卫星后,根据定位结果钟漂和因相对运动产生的径向多普勒频移进行发射信号频率补偿。
针对实际飞行等高动态环境,全球短报文通信载荷利用出站跟踪多普勒信息、载体位置速度以及由卫星星历计算出来的卫星位置和速度等信息,分离短报文出站接收的多普勒频率中由钟漂分量和由相对运动引起的多普勒分量,并建立了高动态入站频率补偿数学模型,对入站频率进行实时频率补偿,确保入站信号频率满足多普勒频率准确度要求。
本文在分析研究北斗三号全球短报文系统能力的基础上,提出了在LEO卫星上配置短报文通信载荷终端,利用北斗三号全球短报文系统完成在地面测控站不可见时DRO卫星科学实验载荷的即时测控数传需求,设计完成了全天时、全天候的测控数传方案和测控数传流程,并对短报文通信载荷需要解决的关键技术进行分析,提出解决方法。后续将进一步开展在轨测试实验工作。
