As the military electronic system demands more and more the real-time and certainty of the network, FC-AE-1553,as a command response network protocol based on fibre channel with strong real-time and high certainty, has been more and more widely used in the fields of data transmission and flight control in avionics environment. This paper introduces the basic characteristics of FC-AE-1553 bus, then takes the launch vehicle telemetry system as the background, constructs a simple star network topology, and uses FC-AE-1553 bus protocol as the communication carrier to verify the applicability of FC-AE-1553 bus technology in the launch vehicle telemetry system.

随着军用电子系统对网络实时性和确定性的要求越来越高,FC-AE-1553作为一种实时性强、确定性高的基于光纤通道的命令响应网络协议,已经越来越广泛地应用于航空电子环境的数据传输、飞行控制等领域。介绍了FC-AE-1553总线的基本特性,并以运载火箭遥测系统为背景,构建简单星形网络拓扑,采用FC-AE-1553总线协议为通信载体,验证FC-AE-1553总线技术在运载火箭遥测系统中的适用性。

As the military electronic system demands more and more the real-time and certainty of the network, FC-AE-1553,as a command response network protocol based on fibre channel with strong real-time and high certainty, has been more and more widely used in the fields of data transmission and flight control in avionics environment. This paper introduces the basic characteristics of FC-AE-1553 bus, then takes the launch vehicle telemetry system as the background, constructs a simple star network topology, and uses FC-AE-1553 bus protocol as the communication carrier to verify the applicability of FC-AE-1553 bus technology in the launch vehicle telemetry system.

遥测系统是运载火箭的关键系统之一,为火箭飞行环境参数获取起到关键作用。传统运载火箭遥测系统采用的方案为“分布采集-逐级综合”式,即由多个采编单元和一个数据综合设备组成。采编单元根据需要分布于全箭各舱段,负责遥测参数的远端就近采集,并把采集的数据编码通过RS422串口传输至数据综合设备,数据综合设备再采用无线点频PCM-FM体制将遥测数据传至地面数据接收设备。
新型运载火箭产生的大量复杂的数据给新一代遥测系统带来了挑战。基于RS422总线设计的传统遥测系统具有通信速率低、系统可扩展性差等特点,已经不能够满足井喷式增长的各类信息的处理和传输要求,亟需一种具有更高带宽、更高可靠性和低延迟的新型总线代替RS422总线作为遥测系统主干网。光纤通道技术(Fiber Channel,FC)具有高带宽、低时延、吞吐率高的特性[1],上层协议接口可兼容多种协议,是航电网络解决方案之一[2]。FC协议标准开发委员会因此制定出了光纤通道航空电子环境协议簇(Fiber Channel Avionics Environment,FC-AE),FC-AE-1553是其中一个协议。
FC-AE-1553协议支持航电系统中设备的高可靠通信连接,可兼容MIL-STD-1553B总线[3]。FC-AE-1553总线作为高速率确定型新型总线[4],与传统MIL-STD-1553B[5]相比较,具有通信速率超过8Gb/s、光纤对电磁干扰免疫、可以使用商用货架光模块、光纤等优势,为传统遥测系统升级换代在技术上和经济上提供了条件。目前,国内已经具有成熟的自主研发的FC网络设备,包括FC交换机和终端仿真节点卡等产品[6,7]
业界对FC-AE-1553的研究主要围绕协议分析、应用探索、性能评估等方面展开。在协议分析方面,鞠铭阳[8]等人分析了FC-AE-1553协议的网络架构、传输模式等,提出了协议的简化和优化方案;王世奎[9]研究了飞行悬挂物FC网络标准与FC-AE-1553标准的关系。在应用探索方面,车明[10]设计了一种面向FC-AE-1553协议的无源光网络(Passive Optical Network,PON)型网络的分层节能模型,而且给出了一种三层(交换层、链路层、物理层)网络节点设计方案;杜玲[11]以航天器测量系统为背景,构建总线简单环形拓扑结构,为系统典型设备设计FC-AE-1553总线接口模块;朱浩文[12]在分析FC-AE-1553协议的基础上,提出一种基于ABTS的FC-AE-1553交换管理模块实现方案,并详细分析了交换处理流程; 王亘[13]提出了一种FC-AE-1553网络互连控制系统的设计和实现方法,解决了传统总线易受电磁干扰、可靠性差、大数据传输实时性差、布线复杂等问题;Zhan[14]提出了将动态带宽分配(Dynamically Bandwidth Assignment,DBA)应用于交换式FC-AE-1553网络的方案,提高了网络吞吐量,同时确保对网络中的业务进行公平处理;高润莲[15]设计了基于FC-AE的数据收发系统架构,并通过功能仿真和硬件调试验证了系统的正确性。在性能评估方面,曹素芝[16]针对仲裁环型与交换式FC-AE-1553总线时间延迟不易确定的问题,在总线型PON网络结构下设计了一种基于下行广播、上行时分复用的传输机制,并分析证明了其严格实时性;房亮[17]对FC-AE-1553网络的消息传输过程、信息类型及相关参数进行了详细分析,并结合通信时间、传输差错的要求,给出了通用的传输效率计算方法;王报华[18]介绍了FC-AE-1553光纤总线技术在运载火箭测量系统中的应用,提出了基于FC-AE-1553光纤总线技术实现测量系统数据传输的系统架构。
本文继续对FC-AE-1553总线技术在运载火箭新一代遥测系统中的应用进行研究,首先对FC-AE-1553总线进行介绍,然后利用FC-AE-1553总线进行系统设计,最后搭建了验证系统对实时性、通信带宽、可靠性等进行了测试。该总线具有100%自主知识产权,完全自主可控,可以应用于运载火箭电气系统,还可用于导弹、空天飞行器、航空飞行器、兵器、汽车等领域。
图1所示,整个FC-AE-1553遥测系统由I级网络以及II级网络共同组成。其中,I级网络包含2个测量终端和2个互为冗余的网络交换机,II级网络包含1个遥测综合控制器、1个测量终端以及2个互为冗余的网络交换机。设备与设备之间,网络与网络之间都通过光纤进行互联,采用FC-AE-1553光纤传输协议作为载体进行数据通信。
遥测综合控制器是系统中的主控设备,其在FC-AE-1553网络中扮演网络控制器(Network Controller,NC)节点的功能。当遥测系统处于正常工作状态时,遥测综合控制器将会周期性通过FC-AE-1553网络读取测量终端采集到的数据,并将其在一个周期内从各测量终端读取到的数据进行汇总,然后经过数据综合、PCM-FM调制处理等步骤,最终将调制后的遥测数据通过遥测天线传回地面数据接收设备中。
测量终端是系统中的终端设备,其在FC-AE-1553网络中实现网络终端(Network Terminal,NT)节点的功能。测量终端会周期性地采集火箭姿态、发动机姿态等传感数据,然后等待遥测综合控制器通过FC-AE-1553网络取走测量终端采集到的传感数据。
网络交换机是系统中的互联设备,其在FC-AE-1553网络中实现了不同通信节点间的转发功能。对于一个由多个设备组成的光纤通道(Fibre Channel,FC)网络来说,互联设备是其中必不可少的一部分,利用互联设备可以将一个简单的网络扩展成复杂的网络。遥测综合控制器在进行采集测量终端的有效数据流程时,通信数据会首先被送入网络交换机,经由网络交换机的转发,通信数据才能正确地流向目的设备。
由于FC-AE-1553协议规定采用命令响应式进行数据的通信,也就是说一切通信的发起者都是NC节点,而NT节点只能被动地响应NC节点发出的请求,因此,在本FC-AE-1553遥测系统中,不论是遥测综合控制器向测量终端发送控制指令,或是遥测综合控制器获取测量终端从传感器收集到的遥测数据,都需要由遥测综合控制器主动开始数据通信流程。从这个角度来说,整个系统的时间的确定性非常重要:何时遥测综合控制器开始从测量终端读取数据才不会取到无效数据,何时遥测综合控制器给测量终端发送控制指令才不会影响测量终端正常工作。综上考虑,整个遥测系统网络的时间统一性也是必须满足的。
FC-AE-1553遥测系统使用两种通信模式,它们分别是NC-NT模式以及NT-NC模式。NC-NT模式用于NC节点向NT节点发送数据,NT-NC模式用于NC节点从NT节点取数据。使用这两种模式可以满足遥测综合控制器能够向测量终端发送控制指令以及从测量终端读取遥测数据的要求。另外,FC-AE-1553遥测系统采用FC原语时间同步,可以实现将网络中的各节点的本地时间统一到遥测综合控制器的时间上,这样就能有效减少系统出现问题的可能,增加网络安全性。
FC-AE-1553协议是FC-AE协议簇的子协议,该协议是由传统的MIL-STD-1553B总线协议扩展而来的一种基于光纤通道的命令响应网络协议。FC-AE-1553网络由网络控制器NC和网络终端NT组成。NC和NT节点之间的一次通信称为一次消息(或称为一次交换),一次消息是由多个序列(命令序列、数据序列、状态序列)组成,一个序列又是由一个或多个FC-AE-1553帧组成。与其他很多通信协议相比,FC-AE-1553协议最显著的特点是其采用命令响应式的方式进行通信,命令响应式的命令指一切FC-AE-1553通信的发起点都是NC节点,响应指任意一次通信的流程都需要NT节点有所响应。例如一次NC-NT的通信,NC节点在向NT节点发送完毕数据后,会等待接收NT反馈的响应信息,并依此判断此次通信是否工作正常。采用命令响应式的通信机制,使得FC-AE-1553总线的NC节点能够明确每次通信成功与否,极大地增大了通信的可靠性。
与传统1553B总线使用命令字、数据字和状态字进行数据通信类似,FC-AE-1553协议在通信中也使用了三种功能不同的帧,分别是只能由NC发出的命令帧、只能由NT发出的状态帧以及NC和NT都可以发出的数据帧。
三种帧的格式如图2所示,三者都包含帧头定界符(SOF)、通用帧头、负载、循环冗余校验(Cyclical Redundancy Check,CRC)、帧尾定界符(EOF),区别仅在于是否存在负载扩展帧头字段,其中命令帧存在大小为24字节的负载扩展帧头,该扩展帧头用于描述整个消息的基本信息;状态帧存在大小为8字节的负载扩展帧头,其用于描述整个消息的通信状态;数据帧则不存在负载扩展帧头。
FC-AE-1553协议规定了多种通信模式,在本系统中使用了NC-NT模式、NT-NC模式,这两种模式工作流程如图3所示。
NC-NT模式是一种NC节点向单个NT节点或是多个NT节点发送数据的通信模式。
NC节点根据一次消息的通信数据量将待发送数据依次封装在命令帧、数据帧中,然后将其发送至对端NT节点。NT节点在接收到NC节点发送的所有数据后,反馈状态帧到NC节点并结束此次消息。
NT-NC模式是一种NC节点主动读取NT节点数据的通信模式。
NC节点首先主动向NT节点发送命令帧,告知NT节点本次通信需要从NT端读取的数据长度,然后NT节点将待发送数据依次封装在状态帧、数据帧中,并将帧反馈回NC节点,最终在发送完毕所有数据后结束此次消息。
FC-AE-1553遥测系统需要完成三种基本功能,分别是遥测控制器采集测量终端数据、遥测控制器向测控终端发送控制指令、遥测控制器统一系统时间。对于这三种基本功能,遥测控制器采集测量终端数据使用FC-AE-1553协议中的NT-NC通信模式;遥测控制器向测量终端发送控制指令以及统一系统时间指令都使用FC-AE-1553协议中的NC-NT通信模式。如图4所示,系统总线周期由20 ms的大周期和5 ms的小周期共同构成,在20 ms大周期内,遥测控制器将会遍历所有测量终端并读取每个测量终端在大周期内采集到的数据。每个20 ms的大周期又可细分为4个5 ms的小周期,单个5 ms的小周期又被划分了25个时隙。
图5所示,5 ms的小周期细分为20个时隙。其中,第1个时隙用于遥测控制器将系统时间统一,第2~21个时隙用于遥测控制器遍历20个测量终端,第22~25个时隙用于遥测控制器根据需要向20个测量终端发送控制指令。需要说明的是,第1个时隙仅在第一个5 ms周期有效,剩余3个5 ms周期的第1个时隙都为空消息。另外,时隙第22~25个时隙需要根据当前遥测控制器是否有控制指令需要发送来判断填充消息,若有控制指令待发送则填充控制指令,若没有则当前时隙空闲。
FC-AE-1553遥测系统使用FC原语时钟同步功能和FC-AE-1553消息时间同步功能保证了整个系统的时间统一性。FC原语时钟同步是FC协议中规定的一种通过FC原语将两个互联FC设备的时间进行同步的方法。首先,FC原语时钟同步功能存在两个端口,它们分别是时间同步主端口和时间同步从端口,主端口会定时向从端口发送Syncx,Syncy,Syncz原语,这三种原语包含主端口的时间信息,从端口在接收到同步原语后,将时间信息提取出来然后将本地时间同步,通过原语时间同步功能可以将FC两端的设备时间统一。对整个系统来说,只需要遥测控制器先同步交换机设备,然后交换机设备再同步其他设备,这样就可以将所有设备的时间同步到遥测控制器的时间上,如图6所示。利用NC-NT广播消息将遥测控制器应用层周期工作时间通知其余测量终端实现FC-AE-1553消息时间同步。通过FC原语时间同步以及FC-AE-1553消息时间同步最终实现整个系统的工作时间都是统一且确定的。
图7所示,FC总线模块从FC层次上可以分为4层,具体描述如下。
FC-1层:GTX模块完成并行数据和串行信号之间的转换以及编码解码工作。字同步模块和链路建立模块完成接收数据重排序以及FC链路建立工作。
FC-2层:FC帧发送模块完成对待发送FC帧的最终处理并发送的功能,FC帧接收模块实现对接收数据还原成FC帧的功能,FC时间同步模块实现FC原语时间同步功能。
FC-3层:实现热双冗余功能。发送冗余模块实现将待发送FC帧数据冗余下发功能,接收冗余模块实现接收FC帧的冗余接收功能。
FC-4层:发送调度模块用于处理NC状态机、NT状态机的发送FC帧数据请求,并选择其中之一下发。接收调度模块用于仲裁冗余后的FC帧数据的去向,根据特定信息将数据送入NC状态机或NT状态机或NM状态机。NC状态机模块实现FC-AE-1553协议中的NC节点功能,NT状态机模块实现FC-AE-1553协议中NT节点功能,NM状态机模块实现监听功能。指令/数据模块用于与用户逻辑、NC状态机逻辑、NT状态机逻辑、NM状态机逻辑的数据信息,指令信息交互工作。配置模块对整个FC-AE-1553总线模块的功能以及工作状态做出控制。
遥测FC-AE-1553总线系统传输速率支持1.062 5 Gbps,可扩展为2.125 Gbps、4.25 Gbps。
遥测FC-AE-1553总线系统误码率极低,通过FC协议的保障,误码率能够低于10-12
遥测FC-AE-1553总线系统传输采用光纤线缆,线缆成本较低,重量较轻,电磁干扰对光信号影响极小。
遥测FC-AE-1553总线系统采用双冗余机制、FC链路建立机制、FC流量控制机制、命令-响应型通信机制等保证系统通信的可靠性。
遥测FC-AE-1553总线系统时间同步误差小于等于100 ns。
遥测FC-AE-1553总线系统网络拓扑搭建方便,易于扩展。

在实验室搭建FC-AE-1553总线验证系统,如图8所示。
系统NT-NC总线通信功能由NC定时地从各个NT获取遥测数据来实现。
NC向NT1发送一个命令序列,告知NT1将采集到的遥测数据反馈回来。NT1接收到遥测综合控制器NC发送的指令后,返回状态序列,即是遥测数据。紧接着遥测综合控制器NC继续依次向NT2、NT3、NT4等发送命令序列并接收反馈的遥测数据,最终在完成对所有测量终端的数据采集后,遥测综合控制器NC把测量终端反馈的数据整合在一起,显示在上位机应用程序上。
系统NC-NT总线通信功能由NC向各个NT发送控制指令来实现。
NC向NT1发送一个命令序列,该命令序列携带NC希望NT1执行的指令信息。NT1接收到NC发送的指令后,返回状态序列,通知NC成功接收到控制指令。随后NC根据需要向NT2、NT3、NT4等发送携带控制信息的命令序列并接收反馈的状态序列。最终通过查看每个NT的上位机应用程序接收指令情况验证系统NC-NT总线通信功能。
系统总线传输速率支持1.062 5 Gbps,2.125 Gbps,4.25 Gbps。在遥测系统正常的工作中,使用FC逻辑分析仪可以查看消息瞬时速率以及总线传输速率。
系统总线中的物理通信可靠性通过误码率测试来进行验证。误码率测试的本质就是向光纤上发送一串固定格式的数据,接着在将发送的数据从光纤上接收回来,并比较两者的异同。如果完全相同,则表明光纤通信正常,不存在误码;若光纤通信异常,则说明发送数据与接收数据存在数据不完全匹配的情况。误码率的计算采用公式“误码率=(发送/接收异常数据)/(发送/接收数据总数)”,如果误码率在10-12以下,既是说每发送/接收1012比特数据,误码出现个数小于1比特,表明系统光纤传输较为可靠。
系统总线时间同步用于将系统内的所有设备的本地时间统一到遥测控制器(NC)的时间。通过时间同步功能,整个系统就可以被人为划分为多个独立的时隙,每个独立的时隙执行不同的通信内容,因此也就避免了系统在通信时可能存在的紊乱情况。
首先,NC将本地时间通过FC原语时间同步功能同步至网络交换机;其次,网络交换机在将从NC接收到的时间信息同步至与该网络交换机互联的NT中;最后,NC的时间就与NT的时间达成统一。
为了验证上述功能,我们将NC的本地时间以及NT本地时间从硬件设备上接出,然后使用示波器比较时间同步前以及时间同步后两者的相对时间关系。
系统总线采用A/B双路通信功能进一步保障通信的可靠性。A/B两路光纤在正常工作时,发送同样的数据,若是从两路上接收到同样的数据,则冗余一路数据,将另外一路数据作为有效数据使用。采用A/B双总线进行通信,即便其中一路出现异常时,只要另外一路正常,通信也能成功。
验证流程如下:
先将系统正常工作于A/B路双总线通信状态下,断开A路总线,观察通信情况;接着接上A路总线,观察通信情况;随后断开B路总线,观察通信情况;最后接上B路总线,观察通信情况。上述四步操作,每一步完成后观察通信的情况都应该是通信正常的。
在NC生成NT→NC的消息,NC发送一个送至NT1的命令帧,NT1接收到命令帧后就会向NC返回一个状态帧(携带数据),表示此次数据采集完成。紧接着NC依次采集NT2、NT3、NT4的数据,通过FC协议分析仪查看FC数据通信情况,如图9所示。
在NC生成NC→NT的消息,NC发送一个送至测量终端的命令帧(携带数据),NT1接收到命令帧后会返回一个状态帧,表示此次消息通信完毕。紧接着NC依次向NT2、NT3、NT4发送数据,通过FC协议分析仪查看通信情况,如图10所示。
可以通过协议分析仪,查看到支持1.062 5 Gbps,2.125 Gbps,4.25 Gbps,如图11所示。
在不同速率下,误码率测试时间≥24 h,误码率的结果<10-12,如图12所示。
采用FC时间原语同步功能进行系统时间同步,FC协议分析仪查看时间同步流程,如图13所示。
通过示波器查看两个设备间在时间同步后的误差小于100 ns,如图14所示。
首先NC正常工作于A/B路双总线通信状态下,随后断开A路总线,观察通信情况,未出现失败的消息;接着重新连接A路总线,观察通信情况,同样并未出现失败的消息,如图15所示。
随后断开B路总线,观察通信情况,未出现失败的消息;最后接上B路总线,观察通信情况,还是未出现失败的消息,如图16所示。
由于FC-AE-1553采用双路A/B热冗余,两路总线同时在发送,同时在接收,无需切换。接收端采用先到先得的策略。如果先到的有错误,则采用后面收到的数据。如果后面的数据也有错误,则数据丢失。
随着时间的推移以及科技的进步,以往的遥测系统所使用的通信协议受制于传输速率、物理拓扑体积等原因已经渐渐地越来越难满足现代遥测系统要求的高传输速率、高带宽、低延迟、物理拓扑体积小等需求。本文在上述背景下对基于FC-AE-1553总线的新一代运载火箭遥测系统进行了方案设计,并通过实际工程应用测试,验证了FC-AE-1553总线在遥测系统中的应用情况,实验表明了基于FC-AE-1553总线的遥测系统的一系列性能指标(传输速率、可靠性、稳定性以及实际物理拓扑体积等)都有了明显提升。
