With the aim of enhancing the space-air-ground integrated telemetry and telecontrol capabilities of the shooting range and meeting the comprehensive measurement demands for high-altitude high-speed targets and low-altitude multiple targets, we propose an air-based multi-target integrated telemetry and telecontrol system scheme leveraging phased array antenna technology. The system employs a space-air-ground integrated three-dimensional architecture. It constructs a large-capacity information relay transmission node via the air-based platform, the onboard telemetry and telecontrol subsystem, and the data relay subsystem. This system possesses the functions of receiving and forwarding multi-target omnidirectional telemetry data and relaying high-bit-rate measurement information. It accommodates the requirements of rapid mobility in stationing within complex terrains such as plateaus and seas. Moreover, key technologies including conformal array antenna design, unit-level all-digital beamforming, and wideband data relay communication have been conquered, thus providing crucial support for the telemetry and telecontrol operations in the aero-weapon range.

为有效提升靶场空天地一体化的综合测控效能,切实满足高空高速目标以及低空多目标等全维度测控需求,提出基于相控阵天线的空基多目标综合测控系统方案。此系统构建了空天地一体化的立体测控架构,其主体由空基平台、机载测控分系统以及数据中继分系统组成,形成大容量测控信息中继传输的关键节点,具备对多目标全方位遥测信息的接收与转发能力,以及高码率测控信息的中继传输等功能,能够适应诸如高原、海上等复杂地域的快速机动布站要求,攻克了共形天线阵列设计、单元级全数字波束形成以及宽带数据中继通信等一系列关键技术难题,为空天武器靶场的测控工作提供至关重要的支撑与保障。

With the aim of enhancing the space-air-ground integrated telemetry and telecontrol capabilities of the shooting range and meeting the comprehensive measurement demands for high-altitude high-speed targets and low-altitude multiple targets, we propose an air-based multi-target integrated telemetry and telecontrol system scheme leveraging phased array antenna technology. The system employs a space-air-ground integrated three-dimensional architecture. It constructs a large-capacity information relay transmission node via the air-based platform, the onboard telemetry and telecontrol subsystem, and the data relay subsystem. This system possesses the functions of receiving and forwarding multi-target omnidirectional telemetry data and relaying high-bit-rate measurement information. It accommodates the requirements of rapid mobility in stationing within complex terrains such as plateaus and seas. Moreover, key technologies including conformal array antenna design, unit-level all-digital beamforming, and wideband data relay communication have been conquered, thus providing crucial support for the telemetry and telecontrol operations in the aero-weapon range.

随着航空武器装备的不断发展,远距离、超高速武器已成为世界各国重点研究方向,较常规武器,其空间活动范围更大,速度更快,智能化水平更高,需要采集和测量的信息量与日俱增,靶场测控区域逐渐由空向天延伸,测控方式由单一测控向综合测控发展,单一方式的地面测控设备已无法满足多样化的测控需求。与此同时,高原、海上等复杂地域目标集群测控任务已成为常态化,传统的多站接力测控模式受限于系统调度复杂度、测控系统规模、使用维护成本、转场周期、地形影响等因素,无法满足快速机动的使用要求[1],迫切需要作用范围更大、时效性更强、更加灵活机动的测控装备新形态。空基测控设备可以通过升空解决视距限制,提高对低空目标的跟踪距离,同时受地形等影响较小,部署方式更加灵活,是对大航程低空目标跟踪的有效方式[2],已经成为世界各国靶场的重要测控手段。
美国以波音707飞机为平台的EC18B飞机测控站、以UC880飞机为平台的遥测中继飞机站、以DASH8-100型飞机为平台的E-9A测控飞机站[1,3],俄罗斯以伊尔-76为平台的伊尔-976SKIP(简称空中测控平台)均在武器试验中发挥了重要作用,如图1所示。其中E-9A飞机安装了1 728个S频段相控阵天线单元,可同时跟踪5个目标。近期,美军为保障“空中靶场”飞行试验,将退役的RQ-4“全球鹰”无人机改装为“靶场鹰”无人机,加装遥测接收和中继系统、高分辨率多光谱相机及高空大气传感器等载荷,可大幅提高武器飞行数据采集质量。
我国空基综合测控系统主要有两种。一是在空基平台上安装中继转发设备,例如,王英玲研究了基于相控阵天线的空基测控中继设备,将设备安装于吊舱上,采用128个S频段接收单元,可满足130 km、2 Mbps的遥测数据中继[1];张雪冬研究了基于中高空无人机的遥测中继系统,采用直径600 mm圆形二维相控阵天线,最大增益为22 dB。二是利用大型有人机平台,将地面测控系统迁移至空中,加装遥测接收设备、卫通设备、安控设备等,能够长时间对目标进行持续跟踪,早期以反射面天线为主,只能跟踪单目标,作用距离在50 km~100 km之间,目前已逐步被模拟相控阵或数字相控阵天线替代[4]
基于测控需求分析,本文设计了基于相控阵天线的空基多目标综合测控系统,在大型运输机平台上利用相控阵天线可共形设计、波束扫描快捷、支持多目标等优势,实现方位360°遥测接收和中继通信传输,构建了空基大容量测控信息中继传输节点,满足多样化测控需求[5,6]
多目标集群测控任务通常在远离人群的戈壁、高原及海上等地区开展,多个飞行目标位于空域内不同位置、不同高度,需要实时获取所有飞行目标的内弹道参数和外弹道参数,并对目标进行远程控制[7]。空基综合测控系统承担的测控任务主要有三个方面:一是接收飞行目标的遥测信号,并实时传递至中心;二是将地面雷达、光学设备测量的外弹道参数实时传递至中心;三是根据中心要求向目标发送控制指令。由于遥控指令信息量较少、码速率较低,可通过在空基平台上加装遥控系统,采用全向天线,其技术和工程应用较为成熟。本文重点对前两个方面的任务需求进行分解,任务场景如图2所示。
①多目标遥测信号接收
多个目标的活动空域一般>500 km,飞行高度在0~150 km之间,遥测信息码速率为2 Mbps~10 Mbps。通过计算,遥测总体技术指标为:天线增益>23 dBi,覆盖范围方位0~360°、俯仰±40°,接收目标数≥4个,10 Mbps码速率下作用距离>300 km。
②测控集群信息中继
地面的雷达和光学等测量设备实时传输速率可达几十至上百Mbps,由于任务区域通常在高原、海上、戈壁等无人区域,地面无通信网络依托,需高带宽无线通信设备。通过计算,无线中继通信总体技术指标为:中继通信范围方位0~360°,俯仰-15°~0°,作用距离>300 km,最大传输速率≥100 Mbps。
基于上述测控需求,将任务系统分为遥测系统和中继通信系统,由平台为任务系统供电。综合考虑遥测、中继通信系统天线尺寸、设备功耗、安装空间、加改装难度等,选用大型运输机作为平台。
对于遥测系统,该平台可用于安装遥测天线的空间位于机头(前视)和机尾(后视),机头区域空间为直径约1 m的椭球形,机尾区域空间为直径约0.9 m的椭球形。传统的反射面天线采用机械扫描方式进行跟踪,只能实现对单一目标的遥测信号接收,同时由于机械扫描覆盖范围有限,若要保持对目标的连续跟踪,对于航线规划及飞机姿态控制要求较高。相控阵天线能够产生灵活、捷变的电扫波束,结合共形设计,可以实现更大的增益,通过形成多个相互独立的波束可以有效解决多目标接收问题[8,9]。考虑到目标在空间中的位置分布较大,单个平面式相控阵无法覆盖方位360°空域。为满足天线覆盖范围要求,前后视天线宜采用共形阵面的形式,使前视天线阵覆盖前半空间,后视天线阵覆盖后半空间,通过二维波束空间扫描,实现方位360°、俯仰±40°的扫描。另外,通过多面天线阵增益合成,也可以带来一定的增益提高[10-12]
对于无线通信系统,常用的有卫星通信、微波通信及中继通信等。卫星通信覆盖范围广、使用灵活,不受使用地理条件限制,但带宽有限,信号存在一定延迟,使用成本和资源协调申请难度较大。微波通信具有较大的带宽、传输稳定、建设成本相对较低,但传输距离有限,易受障碍物的影响。卫星通信和微波通信均无法满足测控集群的大容量信息传输。空基中继通信将中继设备加装在空基平台上,减少了地理因素的影响,其飞行高度较低,信号空间衰减弱,便于实现大带宽设计,同时空基平台还具备覆盖范围广、机动性强、灵活性高的特点,可在较大范围内提供中继通信服务,信号在传输过程中的延时也大大降低,是解决靶场测控集群信息中继的有效手段[2]。中继系统由机载中继设备和中继地面站两部分组成,为实现对不同位置多个中继地面站数据的收发,机载中继设备的天线宜安装在飞机机腹位置。采用FDMA+TDMA(频分多址+时分多址)多址接入模式,TDMA协议的时隙分配策略采用动态分配类TDMA协议,可根据不同中继地面站的带宽需要,进行时隙分配。为实现100 Mbps带宽的数据传输,采用Ku频段圆柱形相控阵天线和QPSK(正交相移键控)调制方式,收发共阵面实现方位360°扫描[13,14]。中继地面站采用车载形式,加装小型反射面天线,在满足作用距离和带宽的要求下,兼顾灵活性和机动性。
整体系统组成如图3所示。
相控阵天线是整个空基测控系统的核心部分,包括天线辐射单元、接收射频组件、波束合成网络等。空基平台不同于地面固定平台或车载平台,需要载体平台与天线深度耦合以减少对载体平台气动性能的影响,对结构设计和电性能设计提出了更高的要求。
①需开展小型化、轻量化设计。空基平台为保证其气动外形和其他飞行指标,对于空间和重量重心要求比较严苛,能够提供给大面积相控阵天线的安装空间十分有限,机头和机尾的重量对整个平台的重心影响较大,机腹天线需要考虑飞机起降时的地面安全高度,需要在有限的安装空间内开展天线结构和电性能设计。
②需满足结构强度和环境适应性要求。遥测和中继天线结构设计时,既要减少对空基平台自身的性能的影响,又不能受平台飞行状态变化的影响,需要天线在轻量化设计的同时注重天线结构刚度、强度以及隔振的设计;同时随着空基平台飞行高度的变化,温湿度、气压变化剧烈,天线需要具备更强的环境适应性。
③需具备更强的抗干扰能力。空基平台相控阵天线在对低空目标进行跟踪时,由于地面反射,更容易受到地杂波的影响。另外,因为不同任务区域地面反射特性的差异,其干扰的特性也不一样,需要天线具备更强的抗干扰能力。
机载中继设备需要同时与多个不同位置的中继地面站实现高速中继通信,针对空基平台位置变化较快的特点,为保证通信带宽和通信质量,需要解决以下两个方面的问题。
①网络管理与目标跟踪问题
机载中继设备同时与多个中继地面站进行通信,需要对通信网络状态进行动态管理,为中继地面站按需分配通信通道。若采用网管通道和数据通道共用的方式,由于空基平台位置变化较快,中继地面站初始开机后在没有实时引导的情况下难以将窄波束天线对准目标,导致无法建立链接。独立的网管通道,不受目标位置的限制,可实现快速入网管理。另外,在飞行过程中,单纯依靠天线波束自动搜索跟踪不仅大大增加切换时间,占用通信带宽,而且难以实现有效的双向指向,降低通信质量。
②大动态多普勒和多径效应的影响
在机载数据传输链路中,由于飞行器的高速运动以及最大视距作用范围的要求,地空通信及空空通信信道会同时存在大动态多普勒和多径效应,造成频率偏移和信号衰落,降低通信的可靠性和稳定性。
天线单元是相控阵天线的基本组成单元,其设计不仅要满足工作频段、方向图、带宽、增益和极化等电气性能要求,还应具备生产加工简单、互易性强、低成本、轻质化和低轮廓优点。为满足天线增益以及结构轻量化、低剖面的设计需求,设计了介质集成的背腔式微带天线。
为适应发射天线极化状态变化的需要,一般遥测系统接收天线通常设计为左、右旋圆极化。在相控阵天线系统中,微带天线和振子天线是S频段两类常用的天线单元,均具有工作频带宽、方向图轴对称性好的特点,能够利用交叉极化隔离度高的多个线极化馈点同时形成左、右旋圆极化。振子天线中常用的为十字交叉振子,通过馈电阻抗匹配优化设计,可实现宽频带宽波束性能,采用双点馈电,馈电网络简单[15]。通过对其电性能和结构进行仿真分析,其单个独立振子具有较高的增益。但在整个天线阵列中,在相同间距排布下,十字交叉振子天线的阵元间互耦比微带天线的互耦要大,组阵后方向图变形明显,交叉极化分量变大,增益性能下降。同时天线剖面高度较大,主体结构为金属结构,重量较重,不利于机载有限安装空间使用。
因此,本文设计了介质集成的背腔式微带天线,通过背腔改善微带天线的方向性、增益和极化方式,增加天线的工作带宽。天线基于多层板工艺实现介质集成设计,辐射贴片背部通过金属化孔形成背腔,降低耦合、优化方向图,确保相位中心稳定,上层寄生贴片可有效展宽天线带宽,天线内部引向贴片与背腔综合设计可提高辐射效率。仿真模型如图4所示。
波束扫描范围是相控阵天线的首要的技术指标,在很大程度上决定了天线阵面设计、天线单元设计、单元间距和排列方式[5]。根据安装位置分为前视天线和后视天线,前视天线法向为航向0°方向,后视天线法向为航向180°方向,天线扫描范围设计为前后视天线方位法向±95°,俯仰±40°,如图5所示。在前后天线覆盖重叠区域,通过波束合成的选择和切换,实现全方位目标的跟踪。
为适应空基平台安装空间要求,满足扫描范围的前提下实现天线增益最大化,同时兼顾法向增益和侧向增益,阵面布局采用圆柱阵和平面阵相结合的方式。采用圆柱阵,能够更好地适应椭圆形的安装空间,并满足增益要求,侧面采用平面阵可增大扫描范围,兼顾侧向增益。
对于前视天线,法向±60°区域采用圆柱阵,与天线罩共形设计,保证法向等效辐射面积最大,圆柱阵使用16×8共128个天线单元;同时在侧向放置平面阵列保证侧向90°的有效辐射面积最大,两侧的平面阵分别使用4×8个天线单元,共计64个天线单元。整个前视天线共192个天线单元。前视天线布局如图6所示。
由于在工作频段内天线的方向图基本一致,频段高、低端增益变化量小,阵列在方位面呈旋转对称结构,天线性能在方位面具有重复性。通过对天线在中间频点2.3 GHz、典型波束指向角处左旋圆极化不同扫描角度的方向图性能进行实测,天线在法向方向增益最大,为26.5 dBi,扫描范围内最小增益为方位90°,为24.2 dBi,差波束零深度≤-25 dB。前视天线法向左右旋方位和、差波束方向图如图7所示。
后视天线与前视天线类似,法向±60°区域采用圆柱阵,与天线罩共形设计,使用120个天线单元,共12列;同时在两侧的平面阵分别使用3×8个天线单元,共计48个天线单元。整个后视天线共168个天线单元。后视天线布局如图8所示。
通过暗室实际测量,后视天线在法向方向增益最大,为26.7 dBi,扫描范围内最小增益为方位270°方向,增益为23.9 dBi,差波束零深度≤-25 dB。后视天线法向左右旋方位和、差波束方向图如图9所示。
波束形成技术是相控阵天线系统的关键,常用的波束形成技术有模拟波束形成技术、数字波束形成技术和混合波束形成技术。模拟波束形成技术通过对天线阵中各个阵元的信号进行相位和幅度的调整,在空间中形成特定方向的波束,具有实现简单、成本低的优点,但形成波束的数量由硬件决定,增加波束数量需要增加对应数量的硬件设备;数字波束形成技术通过数字信号处理技术对波束进行形成和控制,可以实现更精确的波束指向和形状控制,理论上波束数量可以无限拓展,能够通过对各个阵元信号的权值调整实现对干扰的有效抑制,可适应不同的环境和任务需求,但需要大量的计算资源,对系统的实时处理能力要求较高。混合波束形成技术通常在前端采用模拟方式对信号进行初步处理,然后将模拟信号转换为数字信号,采用物理降维的方法减少数字化通道的使用数量,从而大幅度降低系统的建设成本和复杂度,兼具模拟和数字波束形成的特点[16,17]
随着数字信号处理技术的发展,数字处理芯片的处理能力日益提高,在相控阵天线阵面规模不大的情况下,采用单元级数字波束形成技术,既能够满足多目标任务目标数不断增加的需求,便于后续拓展,又能通过自适应波束形成算法提高天线抗多径干扰和信道干扰能力,较模拟波束形成技术和混合波束形成技术具有更大的优势。在天线端,采用并行处理架构,通过FPGA平台,实现各通道信号的数字化,同时采用数字时延滤波器,对各通道的信号时延进行调整,确保信号在时间上的同步性。波束形成上,采用基于子阵和中心的2级波束形成架构,为提高抗干扰能力,减少地杂波等影响,采用广义旁瓣对消(General Sidelobe Canceller,GSC)算法进行波束形成,为降低FPGA实现复杂度,将复杂的凸优化问题分解为波束指向、阻塞矩阵和权值求解三个独立的模块,通过双FPGA同步处理架构提高实时运算能力,对于多径干扰信号具有明显的削弱效果。
为了满足系统使用要求,同时达到经济实用的目的,Ku频段相控阵接收天线采用外形为圆柱的相控阵天线形式,接收和发射柱形阵面均采用一维相控阵天线形式,天线单元采用波导缝隙天线,整个阵列由64个接收波导缝隙阵列和64个发射波导缝隙阵列单元组成环形阵列,接收和发射线阵垂直方向上下分布,水平方向交替排布,相邻单元之间的圆心角为5.625°,实现方位360°的波束扫描。考虑整个相控阵天线的集成化,波导缝隙阵列单元与腔体滤波器集成设计,每个线阵单元输出一个波导端口,与T/R组件采用对插连接的方式,经过实测,接收和发射增益均能达到20 dB以上,其结构示意图如图10所示。
为解决机载中继设备与中继地面站的组网管理问题,机载平台和中继地面站分别安装全向通信天线,采用时分复用(TDM,Time Division Multiplexing)链路,下行发送链路为连续信道,由机载中继设备产生网络管理数据包,以广播的形式发送至中继地面站,多个地面站开机后主动进行信道搜索,接收到广播信息后,通过ALOHA(随机访问介质访问控制方式)信道携带地面站的入网申请信息,发送至机载中继设备。在成功加入中继通信网络系统后,中继地面站可以根据需要向机载站发送业务申请,与网络内的任意一个中继地面站进行业务通信。
为实现100 Mbps的宽带数据传输,减少大动态多普勒和多径效应的影响,系统采用单载波频域均衡技术(Single-Carrier Frequency-Domain Equalization,SC-FDE)。SC-FDE是解决码间串扰问题的一项重要技术,相比于单载波时域均衡技术(Single-Carrier Time-Domain Equalization,SC-TDE)和正交频分复用技术(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing,OFDM),SC-FDE技术具有复杂度低、峰均功率比小的优点,避免了OFDM系统所引起的峰平比问题,降低了系统对频偏影响的敏感程度,能充分利用多径的分集增益[18,19];同时抗多径性能及抗频率选择性衰落性能与OFDM系统相近。调制方式上,对比了多进制数字相位调制(Multiple Phase Shift Keying,MPSK)、多进制正交幅度调制(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation,MQAM)等方式,选择采用QPSK调制方式,同时为减少系统误码率,采用了低密度奇偶校验码(Low Density Parity Check Code,LDPC)信道编码方式,LDPC码字长度为15 360,在硬件设计时具有编解码简单及硬件成本低的特点。数据传输上,为适应不同格式数据的接入需求,设计为基于TPC/UDP协议的透传模式。
系统还采用多模式、变带宽设计,分档速率可根据信道条件自适应动态调整。同时,通过对业务数据速率进行时隙资源分配、对输入数据组帧,可实现逐比特速率可调整的信息传输,满足10 kbps~100 Mbps速率要求。
在现代测控领域中,空基平台测控系统已崛起成为执行测控任务的关键手段之一。基于此,本文设计了一套依托相控阵天线技术的空基多目标综合测控系统。该系统具备强大的功能,能够全方位地接收和转发多个目标的遥测与外测信息,同时对目标实施精准的安全控制操作,从而在靶场空天地一体化综合测控体系建设中,担当起至关重要的测控信息传输枢纽角色,极大地增强了在高原、海上等复杂地域针对长弹道目标的快速机动布站能力以及信息高效回传能力。
展望未来,有人空基测控系统凭借其高度的可靠性和灵活的能动性,再加上相对较低的集成难度,在短期内仍将引领空基测控的主流发展方向。在此基础上,通过进一步整合光学测量、雷达测量、大气测量等多种先进设备,有望显著提升有人空基测控系统的综合测控效能,使其能够应对更为复杂多变的测控任务需求。
与此同时,无人平台以其显著的使用成本优势和便捷的保障特性,正逐渐崭露头角。特别是随着长航时、超音速无人平台技术的日益成熟和广泛应用,以及天线与平台结构之间耦合程度的不断加深,以相控阵天线技术为核心构建的智能蒙皮天线必将成为无人平台天线的主流发展形态。借助人工智能、机器学习等前沿技术的赋能,无人平台有望实现智能化的自主测控以及集群协同作业,从而大幅提升武器系统的全面综合测控能力,为未来的军事作战和科学探索提供更为有力的支持与保障。
