By constructing an angle tracking loop model and performing simulations in the phased array TT&C (Telemetry, Tracking and Command) system, it is used to assist in designing the parameters for the α-β filtering estimation algorithm in the angle tracking loop and the closed-loop period and delay time of the entire loop. Firstly, the equipment composition of the phased array antenna angle tracking system is introduced, and a simulation model of the angle tracking loop is constructed. Then, when the parameters of the filtering estimation algorithm and the closed-loop period and delay time of the angle tracking loop change, the step signal is used to test the dynamic response performance of the angle tracking loop, and based on this, the design parameters of each link in the loop are determined. Subsequently, constant-velocity signals and sinusoidal signals are used to simulate the maneuvering characteristics of the flight target, and the lag error of the angle tracking loop is simulated to verify whether the design parameters meet the usage requirements of the system. Finally, the sinusoidal signal is used to simulate the disturbance characteristics of the antenna carrier platform. The anti-disturbance performance of the angle tracking loop is verified through loop lag error simulation, and by simply improving the filtering estimation algorithm, the anti-disturbance performance of the loop is improved. Experimental results demonstrate that modeling and simulation of the angle tracking loop enable rapid parameter and algorithm design for all components in the loop, significantly reducing trial-and-error costs.

通过构建相控阵天线角跟踪回路模型并进行仿真,用于辅助设计角跟踪回路中α-β滤波估计算法的参数以及整个回路的闭环周期、延迟时间。首先,介绍相控阵天线角跟踪系统的设备组成,并基于此构建角跟踪回路的仿真模型;其次通过阶跃信号测试角跟踪回路的动态响应性能,并基于此确定滤波估计算法参数以及跟踪回路的闭环周期、延迟时间;进一步采用等速/正弦信号模拟飞行目标的机动特性,对角跟踪回路的滞后误差进行仿真,验证设计参数是否满足系统的使用需求;最后,利用正弦信号模拟天线载体平台的扰动特性,通过环路滞后误差仿真验证角跟踪回路的抗扰性能,再通过对滤波估计算法进行简单改进,提高回路的抗扰性能。实验结果表明:通过对角跟踪回路的建模仿真,能够快速实现角跟踪回路中各环节的参数及算法设计,大幅减小了试错成本。

通过构建相控阵天线角跟踪回路模型并进行仿真,用于辅助设计角跟踪回路中α-β滤波估计算法的参数以及整个回路的闭环周期、延迟时间。首先,介绍相控阵天线角跟踪系统的设备组成,并基于此构建角跟踪回路的仿真模型;其次通过阶跃信号测试角跟踪回路的动态响应性能,并基于此确定滤波估计算法参数以及跟踪回路的闭环周期、延迟时间;进一步采用等速/正弦信号模拟飞行目标的机动特性,对角跟踪回路的滞后误差进行仿真,验证设计参数是否满足系统的使用需求;最后,利用正弦信号模拟天线载体平台的扰动特性,通过环路滞后误差仿真验证角跟踪回路的抗扰性能,再通过对滤波估计算法进行简单改进,提高回路的抗扰性能。实验结果表明:通过对角跟踪回路的建模仿真,能够快速实现角跟踪回路中各环节的参数及算法设计,大幅减小了试错成本。

By constructing an angle tracking loop model and performing simulations in the phased array TT&C (Telemetry, Tracking and Command) system, it is used to assist in designing the parameters for the α-β filtering estimation algorithm in the angle tracking loop and the closed-loop period and delay time of the entire loop. Firstly, the equipment composition of the phased array antenna angle tracking system is introduced, and a simulation model of the angle tracking loop is constructed. Then, when the parameters of the filtering estimation algorithm and the closed-loop period and delay time of the angle tracking loop change, the step signal is used to test the dynamic response performance of the angle tracking loop, and based on this, the design parameters of each link in the loop are determined. Subsequently, constant-velocity signals and sinusoidal signals are used to simulate the maneuvering characteristics of the flight target, and the lag error of the angle tracking loop is simulated to verify whether the design parameters meet the usage requirements of the system. Finally, the sinusoidal signal is used to simulate the disturbance characteristics of the antenna carrier platform. The anti-disturbance performance of the angle tracking loop is verified through loop lag error simulation, and by simply improving the filtering estimation algorithm, the anti-disturbance performance of the loop is improved. Experimental results demonstrate that modeling and simulation of the angle tracking loop enable rapid parameter and algorithm design for all components in the loop, significantly reducing trial-and-error costs.

随着航天技术与武器系统的发展,多目标协同测控需求在测控领域显著增加。传统抛物面天线通常只能进行单目标测控,若要进行多目标测控,需布设多个抛物面天线站点,维护使用十分不便[1]。相控阵天线基于数字波束形成技术可同时生成多个波束实现多目标实时测控,且通过电波束即可覆盖较大空域范围[2];另外,由于相控阵天线角跟踪系统是一个全电子的自动调节系统,天线电波束具备快速捷变能力,相对于传统的机械扫描天线角跟踪系统,具备较好的动态跟踪性能[3]。所以在测控领域,基于相控阵天线的测控系统应用越来越多。
相控阵天线角跟踪回路核心是滤波估计算法,大量文献进行了相关研究工作,文献[3]采用基于锁相环原理,把二阶闭环自动控制策略应用到相控阵天线角度闭环跟踪中[3];文献[4-6]采用α-β滤波进行相控阵天线角度闭环跟踪[4-6];文献[7]采用Kalman滤波进行相控阵天线角度闭环跟踪[7],文献[8]研究了α-β滤波及α-β-γ滤波算法的参数设计[8]。相控阵天线测控系统实际使用过程中,我们不仅关注滤波估计算法本身的参数设计,波束指向与目标之间存在的角误差噪声、整个系统闭环跟踪流程中存在的时间延迟以及角跟踪回路的闭环周期,都是实际设计使用中需要考虑的因素。
在角跟踪回路设计时,一个重要的参考是相控阵天线电波束宽度,随着测控频段逐步扩展至X 和 Ka 频段,天线主波束宽度也随之大幅减小[9]。当目标处于电波束主波束之外,不仅影响通信链路的数据传输[10],系统链路无法解算出正确的角度偏差,也无法实现角度连续跟踪。由于飞行目标的机动特性,若角跟踪回路设计不合理,易导致电波束跟踪目标时存在较大的噪声,或存在较大的滞后误差,使得跟踪特性变差。另外当相控阵天线处于载体平台上时,载体平台姿态扰动会显著影响系统跟踪精度。这一耦合特性要求在进行相控阵天线角跟踪回路相关参数设计时,更需结合具体任务场景的运动学特性进行参数适配。因此相控阵天线在对目标进行跟踪时,需要对其动态角跟踪性能的跟踪误差范围及数据精度等进行测试[11],通过跟踪误差范围的大小可以确定当前角跟踪回路是否满足应用需求。
相控阵角跟踪系统包括跟踪接收机、DBF(数字波束形成)处理机、波控处理机及相控阵天线。在测控系统中,角跟踪系统是一种轨迹连续变化的偏差控制闭环系统,角度偏差来源于目标来波与当前天线波束指向的空间偏差,该偏差由跟踪接收机解算得出,一般以角误差电压来表示。随后,波控处理机利用空间角度偏差,结合上一时刻的天线指向角,运用滤波估计算法估算出当前时刻的天线指向角度。需要指出的是角度偏差由角误差电压乘以斜率系数转换为角度得到,由于相控阵天线不同位置波束宽度有差异,该斜率不能保证所有位置等比例转换;最后DBF处理机利用当前时刻的角度估算值计算相控阵天线各个电波束的波控码,并发送至相控阵天线TR组件(接收发射组件),进而完成相控阵天线当前时刻电波束指向[12,13]。另外由于相控阵天线经常会被放置在动平台上,比如船载平台、机载平台,载体的扰动会引起额外的角度偏差。基于上述考虑,构建相控阵天线角跟踪系统具体框图,如图1所示。
基于图1所示的天线角跟踪系统,构建角跟踪回路仿真模型。目标相对于测控站的运行轨迹通常分解为方位俯仰两个轴向角度,由于两个轴向跟踪过程具有独立性,建模时仅需考虑单一轴向即可。目标飞行轨迹相对于测控站的机动特性分别以阶跃信号、等速信号及正弦信号表征,基于该三种信号进行仿真测试可以验证角跟踪回路的动态响应性能。
跟踪接收机的核心功能是解算目标来波与电波束指向之间的角度偏差。受外界环境和跟踪接收机本身硬件的电特性,极易在角误差解调过程中引入高频噪声。在工程实践中跟踪接收机通常会对该角误差信号进行平滑滤波处理,目前业界常用的滤波方法为窗口滑动平均值方法,其数学机理如公式(1)所示。
式中,n为平滑点数,x1x2、…xn-1xn为最近连续n个时刻的直接计算值,为前一时刻和当前时刻的平滑输出结果。
公式(1)与一阶低通滤波离散表达式一致,平滑点数与滤波带宽的关系为:
式中τ为窗口滑动滤波器带宽,T为采样时间。以T=1 ms,n=20为例,滤波器带宽约为8.4 Hz。
当角误差信号输入波控处理机后,系统通过融合前一时刻的波束指向角,采用滤波估计算法估计当前时刻波束指向角。滤波估计算法是整个角跟踪回路设计的核心,目前常见的算法有Kalman滤波估计算法、α-β滤波估计算法和α-β-γ滤波估计算法。在测控领域,由于目标相对测控站距离非常远,波束指向角变化速率较慢,α-β滤波凭借其计算复杂度低、实现简单的优势,能够满足测控领域大多数场景下的应用需求,因此本文中采用α-β滤波估计算法进行仿真验证。
α-β滤波估计算法的数学机理如公式(3)所示。式中k为采样时刻,T为角跟踪回路的闭环周期,为当前时刻的角度、速度一步预测值,为前一时刻的角度、速度估计值,为当前时刻的角度、速度估计值,RtrackErr为跟踪接收机经平滑滤波输出的角误差,yk为当前时刻的角度采样值,其值等于上一时刻的角度估计值与角误差之和。αβ是滤波估计算法中两个定值参数,是滤波估计算法的设计核心,决定了算法的性能。从中可以看出,在跟踪初始时刻,给定,然后通过逐个时刻的递推关系,能够实时计算天线电波束指向角。
αβ参数满足公式(4)所述关系时[14],滤波估计算法具备较好的响应性能,从中看出只需设计参数α即可实现上述算法。
波控处理机将实时估计的角度信息发送至DBF处理机,后者据此计算生成波控码,并发送至相控阵天线TR组件,实现当前时刻的波束指向。DBF处理机和相控阵天线在角跟踪回路里引入的主要是角度指向延迟,可等效为时间延迟环节。另外由于物理连接,波控处理机发送波束指向角度至DBF处理机、跟踪接收机解算的角误差发送至波控处理机均会产生时间延迟,仿真时,延迟时间可设,用以指导回路中各设备间延迟时间分配及设计。
基于上述分析,电波束跟踪回路可以完全实现程序化仿真,基于Matlab平台构建仿真模型如图2所示,模型中滤波估计环节、角误差平滑滤波环节均可以完全表征设计实现过程。研究表明,相控阵天线角跟踪回路设计主要关注滤波估计算法的α/β参数、闭环周期T、角误差斜率以及环路延迟时间。
相对于理论分析和实际工况测试,基于模型仿真的方法可更加便捷设计环路参数,显著降低试错成本。阶跃测试是测定系统的动态性能的有效方式。通常而言,系统在阶跃信号输入下要求最为严苛。当系统输入阶跃信号时,若系统能够稳定良好的运行,系统的各项动态指标满足要求,那么可推断系统能在其他形式的输入函数作用下良好运行。基于此,分别在不同滤波参数、不同闭环周期及不同延迟时间参数下对角跟踪回路开展阶跃测试仿真。此外,角误差斜率和角误差平滑滤波带宽同样对环路动态性能产生影响,可进行进一步仿真验证。
为验证不同α-β滤波器参数对跟踪回路动态性能的影响,本研究将闭环周期固定T为10 ms,给出了三组α参数的阶跃仿真结果,如图3所示,仿真时β参数依据公式(4)得出。从中可以看出α参数越大,系统响应速度越快。在满足公式(4)关系的αβ参数关系时,系统响应的超调量约为20%。然而,回路响应速度过高意味着易引入噪声影响。因此,在实际应用中,应在满足系统调节时间要求的前提下,择优选择滤波估计算法参数。
为验证闭环周期对跟踪回路动态性能的影响,本研究将α参数固定为0.1,给出了两组不同闭环周期系统回路的阶跃仿真结果,如图4所示。从中可以看出:降低闭环周期可有效提高系统的响应速度。然而,相较于原滤波器参数下的系统表现,系统超调量增大,震荡次数增多。若采用降低闭环周期这一措施来提升系统响应速度,则需要重新调整滤波器参数,以确保系统回路具备更优的动态响应特性。
为验证环路延迟时间对跟踪回路动态性能的影响,本研究将α参数固定为0.1,闭环周期T设定为10ms,给出了三组不同闭环周期系统回路的阶跃仿真结果,如图5所示,从中可以看出,在一定延迟时间范围内,环路延迟对系统动态影响较为有限。然而,当系统环路延迟时间过大时,系统动态性能会显著恶化,过大的环路延迟时间甚至会造成系统不稳定。因此设计环路时,需要综合评估系统中各个环节占据的响应时间及数据传递时间,确保环路延迟处于系统稳定范围内。
即便跟踪环路的阶跃特性满足要求,但鉴于飞行目标的机动特性,跟踪环路跟踪目标过程中往往存在滞后误差。一旦滞后误差超过电波束的半波束宽度时,跟踪接收机就会失锁,或者其增益大幅度下降,进而无法有效解算出角度偏差,此时目标很容易丢失。因此在环路设计时,需考虑目标的机动特性,在测控领域中,通常以最大速度、最大加速度来表征系统跟踪机动目标的能力,基于此通过给定环路模型等速信号和正弦信号来验证环路跟踪机动目标的能力。
理论上,α-β滤波器跟踪等速信号可以实现无偏差跟踪。然而,在角跟踪环路中,α-β滤波器所跟踪的实际信号至算法输入端时,会存在一个周期的采样延迟,这会引入额外的跟踪偏差。图6呈现了角跟踪回路在等速信号作用下的滞后误差仿真结果。左图展示了跟踪回路在不同环路周期下,对速度30°/s的等速信号跟踪能力。从图中可以看出,跟踪环路采用α-β滤波器时,会存在一定的滞后误差。具体而言,当环路周期为10 ms时,滞后误差约为0.3°;当环路周期为5 ms时,滞后误差约为0.15°,且滞后误差约为目标速度与环路周期的乘积。图6的右图为不同速度等速信号输入下跟踪环路的滞后误差,其仿真结论与前文分析一致。
正弦信号包含等速信号与加速度信号两种分量。在正弦信号输入下,可进一步验证跟踪环路的机动响应能力,正弦信号的幅度和周期可依据飞行目标的最大速度及加速度来确定。
正弦响应曲线的特性函数为
其中y为目标轨迹,A为最大幅值,ω为角速度,vmax为最大设计速度,amax为最大设计加速度,通过vmaxamax即可计算出正弦信号的幅值和周期。
图7给出了角跟踪回路在正弦信号作用下的滞后误差仿真结果。其中正弦信号最大速度为30°/s,最大加速度为10°/s²,跟踪环路闭环周期为10 ms,延迟时间为20 ms,α参数为0.1。仿真结果显示,滞后误差最大值约为0.3°,且其变化趋势呈正弦规律变化,此时仍需保证最大滞后误差不超过电波束半波束宽度,且均方差满足跟踪精度要求。
对相控阵天线角跟踪回路在正弦信号作用下进行仿真可知,基于α-β滤波估计算法的角跟踪回路仍存在一定范围的跟踪滞后误差。若需进一步减小跟踪滞后误差,一方面在保证跟踪环路动态性能的同时,通过调整角误差斜率以提高环路增益实现;另一方面,可以通过更改滤波估计算法对跟踪环路进行改进实现。文献[15-19]对多种滤波估计算法跟踪机动目标的特性进行了对比研究[15-19],但在当前测控领域中,相控阵天线波束宽度较宽,基于α-β滤波估计算法设计的跟踪环路能够满足大部分应用场景。
为扩展相控阵天线的应用场景,通常把天线放置在机械转台或船载、机载平台上。载体的扰动会直接干扰相控阵天线电波束空间指向,在跟踪环路中引入角度偏差,影响跟踪精度。为验证及改善相控阵天线角跟踪回路的对载体平台的扰动抑制能力,构建图8所示的系统仿真模型。
上述模型中通过把载体平台的扰动速度信息添加至α-β滤波器,通过改进滤波器算法提高环路的抗干扰能力。改进方法如公式(6)所示,其在公式(3)基础上,增加了速度补偿,式子中δ为补偿系数,Vspeed为载体扰动速度。
为验证上述的跟踪环路抗载体运动的扰动能力,本研究选取船摇扰动作为典型扰动进行仿真。船摇扰动及扰动速度可通过坐标变换折算至电波束方位俯仰指向轨迹上[20,21],船摇扰动可近似为正弦波,仿真时设计正弦波周期为8 s、幅度为10°,船摇扰动速度补偿系数设计为0.85。图9为在图8所示模型中加入船摇扰动的仿真结果,从中可以看出通过在α-β滤波器中加入速度补偿后,跟踪环路隔离扰动的能力大幅度提高。
本文通过相控阵天线角跟踪回路组成结构分析,构建了完整的系统级仿真模型,通过阶跃测试指导设计跟踪回路中的算法参数、环路周期及延迟时间,并通过等速信号、正弦信号验证回路在跟踪机动目标下的滞后误差,最后改进滤波估计算法,显著提升了回路的抗载体扰动能力。本文所设计的跟踪回路能够满足测控领域大多数的应用需求,所采用的方法能够有效指导工程设计中相控阵天线角跟踪回路的算法设计及环路参数设计,具有重要的工程应用参考价值。
