Molybdenum targeted-adsorption material (α-BO/PMMA) was prepared by vacuum infusion of α-benzoxime (α-BO) in porous poly-methacrylate carrier (PMMA-DVB), and its structure was characterized by infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis and optical microscopy. The effects of acid type, H+ concentration, contact time and $\mathrm{MoO}_{2}^{2+}$ concentration on the adsorption properties of α-BO/PMMA were investigated. The results show that the adsorption capacity of α-BO/PMMA on molybdenum is greatly affected by acidity, and the adsorption capacity is the highest in 0.1 mol/L hydrochloric acid medium, and the maximum adsorption capacity is 29.8 mg/g. The material can effectively separate and extract molybdenum.

研究了采用真空灌注法将α-安息香肟(α-BO)固载在多孔甲基丙烯酸酯聚合物载体(PMMA-DVB)中制备钼的靶向吸附材料(α-BO/PMMA),通过红外光谱、元素分析、热重分析及光学显微镜等手段对其进行结构表征,并考察了酸种类、H+浓度、接触时间及吸附平衡时溶液中$\mathrm{MoO}_{2}^{2+}$浓度对α-BO/PMMA吸附性能的影响。结果表明:α-BO/PMMA对钼的吸附受酸度影响较大,在0.1 mol/L的盐酸介质中吸附量最高,最大吸附量为29.8 mg/g,该材料可有效分离提取钼。

Molybdenum targeted-adsorption material (α-BO/PMMA) was prepared by vacuum infusion of α-benzoxime (α-BO) in porous poly-methacrylate carrier (PMMA-DVB), and its structure was characterized by infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis and optical microscopy. The effects of acid type, H+ concentration, contact time and $\mathrm{MoO}_{2}^{2+}$ concentration on the adsorption properties of α-BO/PMMA were investigated. The results show that the adsorption capacity of α-BO/PMMA on molybdenum is greatly affected by acidity, and the adsorption capacity is the highest in 0.1 mol/L hydrochloric acid medium, and the maximum adsorption capacity is 29.8 mg/g. The material can effectively separate and extract molybdenum.

钼作为一种重要的稀有金属和战略储备资源,具有高熔点、膨胀系数小、导热性好及热硬性优异等特点,广泛应用于机械制造、冶金、电子、船舶、化工、医药、航空航天及原子能等行业[1-2]。钼主要来源于辉钼矿[3],其中的钼多与铜、钨等其他矿物伴生[4],因此,要获得合格的钼产品,须进行钼分离提取。目前,钼的提取分离方法主要有化学沉淀法、萃取法及离子交换法[5]。其中,离子交换法因具有污染小、效率高等特点,应用相对更为广泛,所采用吸附剂以树脂[6]为主。但在钼质量浓度较低(<10 mg/L)时,树脂易受杂质离子干扰,造成钼选择性差、易中毒、解吸困难[7-10]等问题;而且含钼尾液中钼质量浓度在5~10 mg/L之间,甚至更高,须进一步处理才能达标排放[11-15],会造成生产成本增加。因此,针对低浓度含钼废水难以处理及特定条件下钼超标问题,研究高效吸附低浓度钼的功能材料具有重要意义。
α-安息香肟因对钼具有较高的选择性,可用于萃取分离裂片溶液中放射性同位素99Mo[16],而将α-安息香肟固载在特定载体上[17],则可用于回收裂片元素中的钼[18-19]。目前,对α-安息香肟的研究仅局限于99Mo及低浓度裂变产物等特定领域,偏重于工艺及分离流程的设计及可行性探索,而有关其吸附性能的影响因素、吸附速率及吸附机制等方面深入研究鲜见报道。因此,试验研究了以α-安息香肟(α-BO)为有效成分、以大比表面多孔甲基丙烯酸酯聚合物(PMMA-DVB)为载体,通过真空灌注法制备钼的靶向吸附材料(α-BO/PMMA),并对α-BO/PMMA进行结构表征,探讨了α-BO/PMMA对低浓度含钼模拟溶液中钼的吸附性能。
含钼模拟溶液:用1 g/L光谱级标准溶液和分析纯HCl(36.5%)配制,其主要成分见表1
甲基丙烯酸甲酯、二乙烯苯、过氧化苯甲酰、正庚烷、环己烷、甲苯、乙醇、二氯乙烷、安息香肟,分析纯,购自天津大茂化学试剂公司;明胶、二甲基硅油,工业级,购自鼎驰化工有限公司;氢氧化钠、浓硫酸(98%)、浓硝酸(63%)、浓盐酸(36.5%),购自国药化学试剂有限公司;光谱纯铁标准溶液、光谱纯铅标准溶液、光谱纯钼标准溶液、光谱纯锌标准溶液,核工业北京化工冶金研究院提供。
W201B数显恒温水浴锅,常州翔天实验仪器厂;IKA RW20电动搅拌器,德国Ika公司;电加热套、索氏抽提器,江苏金坛市荣华仪器制造有限公司;BRUKER TENSOR红外光谱仪,德国Bruker公司;LEICA偏光显微镜,德国Leica公司;Asap2020全自动比表面及孔隙度分析仪,美国Micromeritics公司;Vario Micro cube元素分析仪,德国Elementar公司;METTLLER TAG2热重分析仪,瑞士Mettler-Toledo公司。
选择甲基丙烯酸甲酯、二乙烯苯为单体、正庚烷、石油醚和乙酸异戊酯为混合致孔剂,通过悬浮聚合法制备大孔PMMA-DVB载体,过60~80目筛。使用前依次用甲醇、去离子水交替洗涤,直至溶液澄清,滤出树脂,置于烘箱中于70~80 ℃下烘干4 h。
将不同质量α-安息香肟用适量乙醇溶解后,加入到经真空处理的60~80目的大孔PMMA-DVB载体中,搅拌加热2~3 h后,将溶剂缓慢蒸出,得到钼的靶向吸附材料α-BO/PMMA。
采用BRUKER TENSOR红外光谱仪和Vario Micro cube元素分析仪分析α-BO/PMMA官能团和化学成分,采用METTLLER TAG2热重分析仪分析α-BO/PMMA的热稳定性,采用Asap2020型全自动比表面及孔隙度分析仪分析α-BO/PMMA孔结构。
α-BO/PMMA吸附材料是将钼的螯合剂α-安息香肟固载到多孔PMMA-DVB载体的孔道或表面,在酸性条件下,α-安息香肟分子中的羟基脱去1个质子形成肟基负离子,肟基负离子与溶液中$\mathrm{MoO}_{2}^{2+}$接触时,会快速配合生成沉淀Mo-α-安息香肟螯合物,从而使钼与其他杂离子分离。反应式如图1所示。
称取α-BO/PMMA 0.1 g置于250 mL锥形瓶中,再加入一定浓度含钼模拟溶液100 mL;将锥形瓶置于恒温振荡器中,在25 ℃条件下,以振荡速度150 r/min恒温振荡反应20 h;反应结束后静置,过滤。分析滤液钼质量浓度,并分别按照式(1)、(2)计算钼平衡吸附量qe和分配比kd

式中:V—含钼模拟溶液体积,L;m—α-BO/PMMA质量,g;ρ0—钼初始质量浓度,mg/L;ρe—吸附平衡钼质量浓度,mg/L;kd—钼离子在吸附材料α-BO/PMMA和溶液中的分配比。
分别对PMMA-DVB载体和合成后的α-BO/PMMA吸附材料进行红外光谱表征,结果如图2所示。
图2(a)看出:PMMA-DVB载体红外谱图中1 733 cm-1处的峰为酯基的C══O伸缩振动,1 210 cm-1处的峰为酯基C—O—C的伸缩振动,说明甲基丙烯酸甲酯已与二乙烯苯聚合,得到带有酯基的树脂载体。由图2(b)看出:1 632 cm-1处出现了较大强度的肟基C══N的伸缩振动峰,说明α-安息香肟已经成功负载到甲基丙烯酸甲酯-二乙烯苯载体上。
对PMMA-DVB载体、α-安息香肟和α-BO/PMMA材料进行元素分析表征,测定C、H、N、O含量,结果见表2。可以看出:与多孔PMMA-DVB载体相比,α-BO/PMMA中O、N质量分数明显增大,介于多孔载体和α-安息香肟之间,分别为4.22%和1.89%,这主要是由于多孔PMMA-DVB载体上负载了含羟基和氮的α-安息香肟。通过N质量分数计算得肟基负载量为1.35 mmol/g;通过O质量分数折算得肟基负载量为1.32 mmol/g,二者基本一致,说明肟基已成功负载到载体上。
在N2气氛下,多孔PMMA-DVB载体及α-BO/PMMA吸附材料质量随温度的变化曲线如图3所示。
图3(a)看出:在400 ℃以下,多孔PMMA-DVB载体质量下降幅度较小,说明在此温度范围内稳定性较好;在400~460 ℃范围内,多孔PMMA-DVB载体质量呈线性下降,质量损失率超过90%。由图3(b)看出:在100 ℃以下α-BO/PMMA吸附材料具有较好的稳定性,质量损失率小于0.86%;升温至155 ℃时,质量损失率增至9.33%,当升温至357 ℃时,α-BO/PMMA吸附材料质量损失率为25.3%,此温度区间吸附材料质量的变化主要与α-安息香肟的热分解有关;温度达357 ℃后继续升温,吸附材料的质量迅速降低,这主要是由PMMA-DVB共聚物热分解所致,其中α-安息香肟的热分解导致的质量损失为25%左右,多孔PMMA-DVB载体的质量损失约75%,这与实际情况相吻合。
采用电子显微镜表征多孔PMMA-DVB载体负载α-安息香肟前、后的外貌特征,结果如图4所示。
图4看出:多孔PMMA-DVB载体和α-BO/PMMA均呈球状,与多孔PMMA-DVB载体相比,α-BO/PMMA球体中出现明显光斑,这可能与粉末状α-安息香肟在球体内部及表面负载有关。
分别向含钼模拟溶液中加入一定体积浓硫酸、浓硝酸和浓盐酸,调节溶液H+浓度分别为0.1、1、3和5 mol/L,以上述溶液为吸附原液,在固液质量体积比1∶1 000条件下,考察H+浓度对α-BO/PMMA吸附钼的影响,试验结果如图5所示。
图5看出:在3种酸介质中,α-BO/PMMA对钼的吸附量随H+浓度变化趋势基本一致;H+浓度相同时,在HCl介质中α-BO/PMMA对钼的平衡吸附量最大,其次为HNO3,最后是H2SO4;在HCl介质中,钼平衡吸附量随体系中H+浓度增大呈先升高后降低趋势,H+浓度为0.1 mol/L时,钼平衡吸附量达最大,为10.1 mg/g;随H+浓度继续增大,钼平衡吸附量明显降低,说明在盐酸介质中α-BO/PMMA吸附钼的适宜H+浓度为0.1~0.5 mol/L。主要原因是在HCl介质中,随H+浓度增大,溶液组成和钼离子形式发生明显变化,H+浓度在0.1~0.5 mol/L范围内,钼主要以$\mathrm{MoO}_{2}^{2+}$形式存在,$\mathrm{MoO}_{2}^{2+}$可被螯合试剂α-安息香肟有效识别生成Mo-α-安息香肟螯合物;H+浓度进一步增大,受反应平衡控制,螯合反应向沉淀解离方向进行,使得钼平衡吸附量逐渐降低。这与上述配合物组成和反应机制基本一致。综合考虑,后续试验选择0.1 mol/L HCl溶液为介质。
以含钼模拟溶液为吸附原液,在固液质量体积比1∶1 000条件下,以吸附时间为横坐标,吸附量为纵坐标,绘制吸附动力学曲线,考察α-BO/PMMA对钼的吸附动力学,结果如图6所示。
图6看出:α-BO/PMMA对钼的吸附速率较快,吸附30 min时,钼吸附量已达饱和吸附量的85%;之后,吸附速率减缓,吸附75 min时,基本达到吸附平衡,钼平衡吸附量为9.85 mg/g。
试验采用准一级、准二级动力学模型对图6数据进行拟合,拟合曲线如图7所示。
准一级动力学模型公式:

式中:qe—吸附平衡时α-BO/PMMA对钼的吸附量,mg/g;qt—吸附t时间的钼吸附量,mg/g;k1—准一级动力学模型的吸附速率平衡常数,min-1;k2—准二级动力学模型的吸附速率平衡常数,g/(mg·min)。
图7看出:准一级和准二级动力学拟合相关系数R2分别为0.932 1和0.993 1,说明吸附过程与准一级、准二级动力学模型的吻合度均很高;但后者拟合相关系数高于前者,表明准二级动力学模型能更好地描述α-BO/PMMA吸附材料对钼的吸附动力学过程,说明在吸附过程中化学吸附占主导。
取含钼模拟溶液100 mL,加入0.1 mol/L HCl溶液100 mL,调节溶液钼质量浓度为5 mg/L;另取含钼模拟溶液100 mL,分别加入不同体积、质量浓度为1 g/L的光谱纯钼标准溶液,调节溶液的钼质量浓度分别为10、20、30、40、50、80、100、150 mg/L。以上述不同浓度的含钼溶液为吸附原液,在固液质量体积比1∶1 000条件下,考察吸附平衡时尾液中钼质量浓度与平衡吸附量之间的关系,结果如图8所示。
图8看出:随吸附尾液中钼平衡质量浓度增大,钼平衡吸附量逐渐升高,吸附尾液中钼质量浓度增至70.2 mg/L时,钼平衡吸附量达最大,为29.8 mg/g。
试验采用Langmuir、Freundlich等温吸附模型对图8数据进行拟合,拟合曲线如图9所示。
Langmuir等温吸附方程:

式中:ρe—吸附平衡时尾液中钼质量浓度,mg/L;qe—吸附平衡时α-BO/PMMA对钼的吸附量,mg/g;qm—α-BO/PMMA对钼的饱和吸附量,mg/g;kL—Langmuir模型吸附平衡常数,L/mg;kF—Freundlich模型吸附平衡常数,mg1-1/n·L1/n·g-1;n—无因次参数,L/mg。
图9看出:Langmuir和Freundlich等温吸附相关系数R2分别为0.996 3和0.976 2,说明α-BO/PMMA对钼的吸附过程更符合Langmuir等温吸附模型,吸附过程为单分子层吸附。经拟合计算得,α-BO/PMMA的最大理论吸附量为32.0 mg/g,与试验值29.8 mg/g较接近。
采用真空灌注法将α-安息香肟固载到多孔甲基丙烯酸甲酯-二乙烯苯(PMMA-DVB)共聚载体中可成功制备钼的靶向吸附材料α-BO/PMMA。该吸附材料对钼的吸附受酸度影响较大,在H+浓度为0.1~0.5 mol/L的盐酸介质中对低浓度$\mathrm{MoO}_{2}^{2+}$具有较好的吸附作用,吸附量可达29.8 mg/g。该吸附材料在低浓度钼的分离富集、回收提纯及分析检测等领域具有较好的应用前景。
