Aiming at the problems such as long production cycle, low utilization rate of carbon dioxide and difficult to meet the standard requirements of battery grade lithium carbonate produced by traditional carbonization decomposition method, the preparation of battery grade lithium carbonate by sodium carbonate—shear carbonization—ion exchange—heating decomposition process was studied using low-grade leachite ore as raw material. The results show that the removal rates of calcium, magnesium and manganese are 97.26%, 81.82% and 95.73%, respectively, under the conditions of 30 ℃, liquid volume/solid mass ratio of 25/1, carbon dioxide input rate of 0.5 L/min and shear speed of 6 000 r/min. The shear assisted carbonization method can significantly improve the carbonization reaction rate, shorten the reaction time, save more than 70% of CO2, and is more conducive to the production of battery grade lithium carbonate. The prepared lithium carbonate can meet the standard of battery grade lithium carbonate.

针对传统碳化分解法制备电池级碳酸锂存在生产周期长、二氧化碳利用率低、杂质含量难以达到电池级碳酸锂标准等问题,以低品位锂云母矿石浸出液为原料,研究了碳酸钠沉锂—剪切碳化—离子交换—加热分解工艺制备电池级碳酸锂。结果表明:在温度30 ℃、液固体积质量比25/1、二氧化碳通入速率0.5 L/min、剪切转速6 000 r/min条件下,钙、镁、锰去除率分别达97.26%、81.82%、95.73%。剪切辅助碳化法可显著提升碳化反应速率,缩短反应时间,节省70%以上CO2气体,更有利于制得电池级碳酸锂。所制备碳酸锂符合电池级碳酸锂标准。

Aiming at the problems such as long production cycle, low utilization rate of carbon dioxide and difficult to meet the standard requirements of battery grade lithium carbonate produced by traditional carbonization decomposition method, the preparation of battery grade lithium carbonate by sodium carbonate—shear carbonization—ion exchange—heating decomposition process was studied using low-grade leachite ore as raw material. The results show that the removal rates of calcium, magnesium and manganese are 97.26%, 81.82% and 95.73%, respectively, under the conditions of 30 ℃, liquid volume/solid mass ratio of 25/1, carbon dioxide input rate of 0.5 L/min and shear speed of 6 000 r/min. The shear assisted carbonization method can significantly improve the carbonization reaction rate, shorten the reaction time, save more than 70% of CO2, and is more conducive to the production of battery grade lithium carbonate. The prepared lithium carbonate can meet the standard of battery grade lithium carbonate.

碳酸锂是一种重要的无机化合物,广泛应用于能源、陶瓷、化工等领域。随着新能源行业的快速发展,碳酸锂需求急剧增长,尤其是电池级碳酸锂供不应求。从矿石中提锂制备电池级碳酸锂是该领域研究重点之一,流程主要包括先进行采矿—破碎—选矿,得到含锂精矿,再对精矿进行焙烧—浸出—分离—净化,得到富锂溶液[1],富锂溶液可用于进一步制备碳酸锂[2]、氢氧化锂[3]等化合物。目前由粗碳酸锂提纯制备电池级碳酸锂的方法有碳酸锂重结晶法[4]、苛化法[5]、电解法[6-7]、碳化沉淀法[8]、碳化分解法等[9]。重结晶法生产成本低但生产周期长;苛化法操作简单、工业应用广泛但无法准确控制反应终点;电解法可制备高纯度碳酸锂,但生产过程会释放氯气,恶化环境,且对离子交换膜要求较高,难以实现工业化;碳化沉淀法操作性强但使用大量氢氧化锂成本高,且滤液无法回收利用;碳化分解法操作简单、设备简易、原料易得,但碳化反应速率慢,CO2利用率低,且对杂质钙、镁的去除效果不够理想,亟需加以改善。
高转速均质乳化机是一种用于将液体或半固体物质进行均质、混合和乳化的设备。它通过高转速的刀具或转子,将物料进行剪切、挤压、冲击等多重作用,使得物料颗粒变得更加细小,从而达到均质和乳化的目的。在食品加工、医药、化工等领域有着广泛的应用,可以提高产品质量,改善生产效率。将高转速均质乳化机引入碳化反应过程,可加快碳化反应中气-液-固的传质速率,缩短反应时间,提升生产效率,提高CO2利用率,节省气体用量,降低生产成本。
基于碳化分解法现存问题,试验引入剪切强化碳化反应,以低品位锂云母矿石经硫酸盐焙烧—浸出后的浸出液为原料制备电池级碳酸锂,研究结果可为电池级碳酸锂的高效制备提供参考。
试验用原料:江西某冶炼厂提供的锂云母矿石经硫酸盐焙烧—浸出所得的富锂浸出液(卤水),主要包含锂、钠、钾等元素,其具体成分见表1
试验用试剂:碳酸钠(分析纯)、CO2气体(纯度>99.99%);试验用水为去离子水。
试验流程如图1所示。
首先,在卤水原料中加入一定浓度的碳酸钠溶液进行沉锂反应,反应结束后液固分离得到初级碳酸锂与沉锂后液,其中沉锂后液返回浸出流程用于配液。初级碳酸锂进行调浆水洗,之后过滤得到粗碳酸锂与洗液,洗液也可返回浸出配液;称取一定量上述粗碳酸锂加入去离子水混匀调浆并通入CO2进行剪切碳化反应,反应后固液分离去除碳化残渣,并将碳化后液流经离子交换柱除去碳化液中的钙、镁杂质;最后,加热分解经过离子交换后的碳化液,反应后过滤并洗涤滤饼若干次,热解母液返回剪切碳化阶段,滤饼经干燥后即得到电池级碳酸锂产品。
采用正交优化试验[10]考察锂离子浓度、碳酸钠浓度、温度、反应时间、剪切速率等因素对沉锂效果的影响,优化沉锂试验参数,提高沉锂效率。选取对碳酸钠沉锂率具有显著影响的因素:A(卤水锂离子浓度)、B(碳酸钠浓度)、C(反应时间)、D(反应温度)、E(剪切速率),选取5因素4水平(L16(54))设计正交试验,因素、水平设计见表2
碳酸锂在水溶液中溶解度与温度的关系[11]表3,卤水沉锂过程利用碳酸锂微溶于水且在水中溶解度随温度升高逐渐减小的特性[2],在较高水浴温度下用碳酸钠进行沉锂得到碳酸锂,反应方程式为:

正交试验结果见表4,各影响因素的极差分析结果见表5
表5:所选定的5个因素的极差大小顺序为A(卤水锂离子浓度)>B(碳酸钠浓度)>D(反应温度)>E(剪切速率)>C(反应时间);因素AB的极差分别为10.833%、9.33%,其余3个因素极差均在1%左右,说明卤水锂离子浓度、碳酸钠浓度对沉锂率有显著影响,反应温度、反应时间、剪切速率对沉锂率有一定影响。
在上述最优条件(初始锂质量浓度15 g/L、碳酸钠质量浓度360 g/L、反应温度95 ℃、反应时间70 min、剪切速率1 000 r/min)下扩大试验规模,结果一次沉锂率达80%,所制得产品中碳酸锂质量分数在90%以上,主要成分见表6
将沉锂反应后得到的碳酸锂进行调浆水洗除去附着杂质,并在温度90 ℃、液固体积质量比1/1最优条件下洗涤20 min,结果钠去除率达91.97%、钾去除率达90.91%,碳酸锂纯度由90.39%提升至97.62%。经过调浆水洗后的粗碳酸锂主要成分见表7
对上述经沉淀—水洗得到的粗碳酸锂进行提纯制备电池级碳酸锂试验研究。首先进行碳化试验,将粗碳酸锂加入去离子水进行混匀调浆后通入CO2气体,反应生成碳酸氢锂溶液[12],反应方程式如下:
Li2CO3(s)+H2O(l)+CO2(g)=2LiHCO3(aq)
粗碳酸锂中的碳酸钙、碳酸镁、碳酸锰等杂质因反应活性低于锂,未能参与碳化反应,以沉淀形式存在于溶液中,须通过固液分离去除碳化残渣中的钙、镁、锰杂质。试验引入剪切以强化碳化过程[13],一方面提升气-液-固反应速率,提高气体利用率,节省CO2气体用量;另一方面缩短反应时间,减少碳酸钙、碳酸镁等杂质与CO2的接触与反应时间,降低钙、镁、锰杂质的溶出,达到进一步除杂的目的。反应条件为:液固体积质量比25/1、二氧化碳气体流速0.5 L/min,温度30 ℃,全程监测溶液pH至其稳定后结束反应。对比分析有无剪切外场以及改变剪切转速对碳化试验的影响,试验结果见表8。剪切碳化反应过程中碳化液pH随反应时间的变化规律如图2所示。由表8看出:在引入剪切外场后,碳化反应时间缩短,反应速率大幅提升,且碳化残渣质量减少,说明在剪切外场的作用下,反应进行地更充分,粗碳酸锂碳化更完全。且随剪切转速增大,反应时间进一步缩短,气体节省率达70%以上。
图2看出:无剪切强化时,碳化液pH下降趋势较缓;引入剪切外场后,碳化液pH在反应前期迅速下降至9;随剪切转速加大,碳化液pH下降趋势更加明显,可更快到达碳化反应终点。剪切可以有效分散二氧化碳气泡,使气体与碳化液接触更加充分,促进反应速率大幅提升。
在液固体积质量比25/1、二氧化碳气体流速0.5 L/min、温度30 ℃、剪切转速6 000 r/min最优条件下进行剪切强化碳化试验,碳化后溶液的主要化学成分见表9
表9看出:碳化过程中钙、镁、锰等杂质多以不溶于水的碳酸盐形式存在,在固液分离后仍有少量杂质溶于溶液中,根据碳化液成分计算可知,碳化过程对钙、镁、锰去除率分别达97.26%、81.82%、95.73%。
采用HCD101大孔径螯合型树脂处理碳化过程得到的碳化液,进一步去除溶液中钙、镁、锰等杂质离子。首先对树脂进行预处理,步骤为:1)利用6%的盐酸溶液淋洗树脂,淋洗流速1 BV/h,淋洗时间2 h;2)纯水淋洗树脂,淋洗流速2~4 BV/h,淋洗至出水pH=4;3)利用4%氢氧化锂溶液淋洗树脂,淋洗流速1 BV/h,淋洗时间2 h;4)纯水淋洗树脂,淋洗流速2~4 BV/h,淋洗至出水pH=8即可。分别设置离子交换过柱流速为1.34、2.68、3.87 BV/h,处理200 mL碳化液,不同过柱流速下杂质离子去除效果见表10
离子交换流速过高或过低都会影响吸附效果。由表10看出:镁离子去除效果较稳定,均保持在99%以上;钙吸附效果随过柱流速提升呈上升趋势,去除率可达98.52%以上;HCD101型树脂对锰的去除率相对较低,对锰仅有一定去除效果。综上可知,该树脂对钙、镁杂质具有良好吸附效果,吸附后液中钙、镁浓度均可达到制备电池级碳酸锂标准。
将经过离子交换除杂后的料液进行加热分解,利用碳酸锂在相同条件下溶解度小于同族碳酸钠、碳酸钾在水溶液中溶解度的特点,使碳酸锂在升温过程中逐渐析出,从而实现碳酸锂与杂质钾、钠等的分离。反应方程式如下:

加热分解过程主要考察了加热温度、搅拌速度、蒸发量,以及离子辅助场对碳酸锂析出的影响。结果表明,在温度90 ℃、搅拌速度300 r/min、蒸发量36%、1%酒精加热条件下,碳酸锂析出直收率为75%,所制备碳酸锂产品的主要化学成分见表11,碳酸锂及杂质含量均可达到国标要求。碳酸锂产品的物相与形貌表征结果如图3所示。
图3(a)看出:试验所得的沉淀产物衍射峰与碳酸锂标准PDF卡片高度匹配,说明所得碳酸锂产品纯度较高且结晶性能良好。由图3(b)看出:不同于传统的球状碳酸锂产品,试验所制备的碳酸锂呈片状。片状碳酸锂颗粒之间的堆积较为紧密,不易发生团聚或结块现象,可极大避免成核长大过程中对杂质离子的包覆与夹杂,有利于得到纯度更高的碳酸锂产品。此外,片状碳酸锂的颗粒间空隙较少,在浆料或涂料中具有较好的流动性和填充性,可以更均匀地分散在基体材料中,提高复合材料的力学性能和耐久性,具有广阔应用前景。
采用碳酸钠沉锂—剪切碳化—离子交换—加热分解工艺处理锂云母矿石经硫酸盐焙烧后的富锂浸出液制备电池级碳酸锂是可行的。正交优化试验表明,初始锂质量浓度与碳酸钠质量浓度对沉锂试验结果影响显著。剪切强化碳化过程中碳化反应速率显著提升,相较传统碳化法可缩短70%反应时间,同时节省70%以上CO2气体用量。离子交换与剪切碳化联用可将杂质含量进一步降低至电池级碳酸锂标准,工艺操作流程简单,成本较低,有望用于电池级碳酸锂工业化生产。
