Aluminum was extracted from fly ash by (NH4)2SO4 roasting activation—sulfuric acid leaching method. The effects of liquid volume/solid mass ratio, reaction temperature, reaction time and sulfuric acid concentration on the leaching rate of aluminum were investigated. The kinetics of acid leaching process of clinker was studied. The results show that the leaching rate of aluminum is 84.64% under the conditions of liquid volume/solid mass ratio of 8/1, reaction temperature of 90 ℃, reaction time of 120 min and sulfuric acid concentration of 20%. The leaching kinetic formula is $1-{(1-x)}^{\frac{1}{3}}$=6. 033 93${e}^{\frac{-22.045 4}{RT}}$t, and the reaction activation energy is 22.045 4 kJ/mol.

研究了以粉煤灰为原料,采用(NH4)2SO4焙烧活化—硫酸浸出法提铝,考察了液固体积质量比、反应温度、反应时间及硫酸浓度对铝浸出率的影响,探究了熟料酸浸过程动力学。结果表明:在液固体积质量比8/1、反应温度90 ℃、反应时间120 min、硫酸浓度20%优化条件下,铝浸出率为84.64%;浸出动力学公式为$1-{(1-x)}^{\frac{1}{3}}$=6.033 93e-22.045 4/RTt,反应活化能为22.045 4 kJ/mol。

Aluminum was extracted from fly ash by (NH4)2SO4 roasting activation—sulfuric acid leaching method. The effects of liquid volume/solid mass ratio, reaction temperature, reaction time and sulfuric acid concentration on the leaching rate of aluminum were investigated. The kinetics of acid leaching process of clinker was studied. The results show that the leaching rate of aluminum is 84.64% under the conditions of liquid volume/solid mass ratio of 8/1, reaction temperature of 90 ℃, reaction time of 120 min and sulfuric acid concentration of 20%. The leaching kinetic formula is $1-{(1-x)}^{\frac{1}{3}}$=6. 033 93${e}^{\frac{-22.045 4}{RT}}$t, and the reaction activation energy is 22.045 4 kJ/mol.

粉煤灰是燃煤发电厂的主要副产物,近年来我国粉煤灰年产量维持在6~8亿t[1-2],综合利用率约为80%[3-4],大量未处理的粉煤灰以堆存为主,占用土地的同时还污染环境。粉煤灰的主要成分为Al2O3和SiO2,高铝粉煤灰中Al2O3质量分数甚至超过50%[5-6],因此,利用粉煤灰提取Al2O3具有重大战略意义。
目前粉煤灰提取铝的方法主要包括碱石灰烧结法[7-8]、硫酸浸出法[9]、酸碱联合法[10]、硫酸铵焙烧法等[11]。碱法工艺繁长,熟料溶出过程易产生大量残渣[12];在低液固质量比条件下,直接使用硫酸浸出粉煤灰易出现自阻碍现象[13],该法回收率较高但生产成本较大。酸碱联合法在酸和碱消耗量较低,但硫酸铝焙烧分解的能耗相对较高;通过使用助剂硫酸铵与粉煤灰焙烧从中提取铝,成本较低,环境污染也较小,设备的腐蚀程度较低,适于工业化生产。
试验以某粉煤灰为原料,研究了硫酸铵焙烧—硫酸浸出提铝,考察了液固体积质量比、反应温度、反应时间及硫酸浓度对铝浸出率的影响,探讨了浸出动力学。
粉煤灰:取自山西朔州二电厂,主要晶相为莫来石(3Al2O3·2SiO2)、夕线石(Al2O3·SiO2)、石英(SiO2),XRD结果如图1所示,XRF分析结果见表1
试验用主要试剂见表2
主要设备及仪器:水热合成反应釜,LC-KH-5型,力辰科技设备有限公司;隔膜真空泵,AP-01P型,盐城普瑞奇实验仪器有限公司;布氏漏斗,001型,盐城普瑞奇实验仪器有限公司;电热鼓风干燥箱,101-00B型,长葛市明途机械设备有限公司;恒温搅拌蒸馏锅,YAZD5型,上海宝蓝实验仪器制造有限公司;电子天平,JD200-3型,沈阳龙腾电子有限公司;箱式电阻炉,JXR1650-30型,成都极托仪器设备有限公司。
经球磨并加入硫酸铵高温焙烧过的粉煤灰,其硅铝键已大部分断裂,原本坚硬的外壳也被破坏,这使得它能更有效地与H2SO4接触并产生化学反应。其中,粉煤灰中金属氧化物与硫酸结合会生成溶于水的硫酸盐物质,这些物质会在高温环境下进一步分解成为Al2O3,反应方程式如下:
3(NH4)2SO4(s)+Al2O3(s)═══════Al2(SO4)3(s)+6NH3(g)+3H2O(g);
4(NH4)2SO4(s)+Al2O3(s)═══════2NH4Al(SO4)2(s)+6NH3(g)+3H2O(g);

Al2(SO4)3(s)═══════Al2O3(s)+3SO2(g)+$\frac{3}{2}$O2(g)
硫酸铵与粉煤灰(Al2O3)按照质量比8/1混合均匀放入坩埚中,使用箱式电阻炉在580 ℃下焙烧120 min,反应结束后取出坩埚,冷却,将焙烧熟料研磨成微粒状态,按照一定液固体积质量比与一定浓度的硫酸溶液倒入反应釜中,用硫酸对活化后的粉煤灰进行酸浸,设置磁力搅拌器的搅拌速度为300 r/min,加热保温冷却再通过固液分离洗涤获得酸浸液,测定浸液中铝含量。
反应温度80 ℃,反应时间120 min,硫酸浓度15%,液固体积质量比对铝浸出率的影响试验结果如图2所示。
图2看出:随液固体积质量比增大,铝提取效果也相应增强;液固体积质量比大于8/1时,铝浸出率逐渐平稳,表明液固体积质量比为8/1时,已经达到酸浸过程所需酸量,而且反应逐渐达到平衡状态,如果进一步增大液固质量比可能会加大酸浸液处理难度,从而不利于实际生产的操作。综合考虑,确定液固体积质量比为8/1。
反应时间120 min,硫酸浓度15%,液固体积质量比8/1,反应温度对铝浸出率的影响试验结果如图3所示。可以看出:随反应温度升高,铝浸出率大幅提升;温度超过80 ℃时,铝浸出率始终保持在78%以上,这说明升高温度有利于铝的浸出;然而,当温度升高至90 ℃后,铝浸出率逐渐趋于稳定,表明反应已经接近平衡状态。由于高温有利于硫酸蒸发,使得和粉煤灰发生化学反应的有效酸量下降,从而导致铝浸出率下降,因此,综合考虑,确定反应温度为90 ℃。
液固体积质量比8/1,硫酸浓度15%,反应温度90 ℃,反应时间对铝浸出率的影响试验结果如图4所示。
图4看出:反应时间从60 min延长至90 min,铝浸出率迅速提升;反应时间从90 min延长至120 min,铝浸出率的上升趋势则逐渐减缓;反应120 min后,铝浸出率开始趋于平稳,但反应150 min后,铝浸出率又有所下降,这是因为随硫酸铝浓度增大,更多的硫酸根释放出来,使得原溶液中的游离酸含量较低,导致铝离子水解过程更加明显,造成铝浸出率逐渐下降。综合考虑,确定反应时间为120 min。
液固体积质量比8/1,反应温度90 ℃,反应时间120 min,硫酸浓度对铝浸出率的影响试验结果如图5所示。可以看出,铝浸出率随硫酸浓度增大而提高:硫酸浓度为20%时,铝浸出率达84.46%;继续增大硫酸浓度,铝浸出率升高趋势减缓,浸出反应逐渐达到平衡。考虑到高浓度的硫酸具有较强腐蚀性和较大黏度,可能会阻碍化学反应发生。综合考虑,确定硫酸浓度为20%。
硫酸与焙烧产物的反应属于液-固相反应,浸出过程可按照收缩未反应核模型来解释其动力学过程。结合酸浸反应,可认为该液-固反应过程的主要步骤如下:1)硫酸根离子和氢离子从硫酸中释放出来并附着于粉煤灰煅烧产品的表面形成硅胶固态物质,这些物质会进一步渗透至内部未发生反应的熟料固体层;2)硫酸会在粉煤灰焙烧熟料颗粒表面上产生界面化学反应。内扩散控制或界面化学反应控制可能是铝浸出反应控制步骤的主要方式,也可能受两者综合控制。
不同温度下铝浸出率与反应时间的关系,如图6所示。
图6看出:反应时间从60 min延长至120 min,铝浸出率随之增大,在120 min之后变化不明显。
当反应速率受到界面化学反应控制时,动力学方程式如下:
$1-(1-x)^{\frac{1}{3}}=k_{1} t$
当反应速度受到固体产物层内部扩散控制时,动力学方程式如下:
$1+2(1-x)-3(1-x)^{\frac{2}{3}}=k_{2} t ;$
式中:x—铝浸出率,%;t—浸出时间,min;k1—外扩散控制的速率常数,min-1;k2—内扩散控制的速率常数,min-1
图6数据分别带入式(5)和(6)中,并且把得到的数据用origin进行线性拟合,试验结果如图78所示,不同温度下反应速率常数与相关系数见表3
相关系数越接近1则表面越符合实际浸出动力学模型。由图78表3看出:$1-(1-x)^{\frac{1}{3}}=k_{1} t$与时间t在不同温度下呈现出良好的线性相关性,这表明酸浸提铝反应过程受界面化学反应控制。
阿伦尼乌斯(Arrhenius)公式如下:

式中:k—化学反应速率常数,min-1;T—热力学温度,K;Ea—表观活化能,kJ/mol;R—理想气体常数,8.314 J/(mol·K);A—指前因子,min-1
依据式(7),对不同温度下$1-(1-x)^{\frac{1}{3}}=k_{1} t$与时间t之间的关系进行线性回归分析,试验结果如图9所示。通过计算得到Ea=22.045 4 kJ/mol,指数前因子A=6.033 93,代入界面化学反应控制反应方程中,得到动力学方程如下:
$1-(1-x)^{\frac{1}{3}}=6.03393 \mathrm{e}^{\frac{-22.0454}{R T}} t 。$
粉煤灰采用硫酸铵焙烧活化—硫酸浸出提铝是可行的。粉煤灰与硫酸铵的焙烧熟料在温度90 ℃、硫酸浓度20%、液固体积质量比8/1、浸出时间120 min最佳条件下,铝浸出率为84.64%。酸浸提铝过程的动力学行为符合收缩未反应核模型,受界面化学反应控制,表观活化能为22.045 4 kJ/mol,动力学方程如下:
$1-(1-x)^{\frac{1}{3}}=6.03393 \mathrm{e}^{\frac{-22.0454}{R T} t} \text { 。 }$
试验结果为粉煤灰提铝实际生产中减少能源损耗、加快化学反应速率、强化浸出效果进而提高生产效率方面提供了理论支持,在粉煤灰高值化利用开发方面具有重要的现实意义。
