P204 was used to extract copper and cobalt from low concentration cobalt sulphide concentrate leaching solution. The effects of pH of extraction solution, extractor concentration, extraction ratio and time on the extraction efficiency were investigated. The results show that under the conditions of pH=4, P204 volume fraction of 25%, extraction ratio VO/VA=1/1, extraction time of 3 min, reverse extractant sulfuric acid concentration of 0.10 mol/L, and reverse extraction ratio VO/VA=2/1, the test of two-stage countercurrent extraction, four-stage countercurrent stripping is carried out on the purified liquid of cobalt sulfide concentrate, the mass concentration of cobalt and copper in the raffinate is 338.80 mg/L and 2.96 mg/L, the extraction rate of copper is 98.32%, and 90.03% of cobalt remains in the water phase. Copper and cobalt can be effectively further separated by stripping, which is conducive to preparation of high purity cobalt sulfate.

研究了采用P204+磺化煤油体系从除杂后的低浓度硫钴精矿浸出液中萃取分离铜、钴,考察了萃原液pH、萃取剂浓度、萃取相比、萃取时间、反萃取剂浓度、反萃取相比等对铜钴分离效果的影响。结果表明:在萃原液pH=4、P204体积分数25%、萃取相比VO/VA=1/1、萃取时间3 min、反萃取剂硫酸浓度0.10 mol/L、反萃取相比VO/VA=2/1条件下,对硫钴精矿除杂后液进行两级逆流萃取、四级逆流反萃取试验,萃余液中钴质量浓度为338.80 mg/L,铜质量浓度为2.96 mg/L,铜萃取率为98.32%,90.03%的钴留在萃余液中,经反萃取铜钴可得到进一步分离,有利于下一步制备高纯度硫酸钴。

P204 was used to extract copper and cobalt from low concentration cobalt sulphide concentrate leaching solution. The effects of pH of extraction solution, extractor concentration, extraction ratio and time on the extraction efficiency were investigated. The results show that under the conditions of pH=4, P204 volume fraction of 25%, extraction ratio VO/VA=1/1, extraction time of 3 min, reverse extractant sulfuric acid concentration of 0.10 mol/L, and reverse extraction ratio VO/VA=2/1, the test of two-stage countercurrent extraction, four-stage countercurrent stripping is carried out on the purified liquid of cobalt sulfide concentrate, the mass concentration of cobalt and copper in the raffinate is 338.80 mg/L and 2.96 mg/L, the extraction rate of copper is 98.32%, and 90.03% of cobalt remains in the water phase. Copper and cobalt can be effectively further separated by stripping, which is conducive to preparation of high purity cobalt sulfate.

钴作为一种重要的战略金属元素,具有独特的磁性和优异的延展性等机械性能,在电池材料、合金、催化剂、磁性材料及玻璃陶瓷等研究或生产领域应用广泛[1-3]。含钴矿分布广泛,但含量偏低,单独钴矿床很少,绝大多数以伴生矿形式存在。自然界中的钴主要有3种赋存状态,即独立钴矿物、类质同象或包裹体[4]。我国作为钴消费大国,钴资源严重不足,目前主要依赖进口。因此,加强对含钴黄铁矿等伴生钴资源进行回收对实现资源的高效利用、降低对国外钴资源的依赖至关重要[5-7]
目前,从硫钴精矿中提钴的主要工艺流程为氧化焙烧—硫酸浸出—净化除杂、萃取分离。用硫钴精矿制备高纯钴的关键是得到高纯钴盐溶液,但硫钴精矿焙砂经硫酸浸出所得粗制硫酸钴溶液中铜、镍等金属杂质含量高,须进行分离。目前,从该类溶液中分离钴、铜、镍的主要采用的方法是溶剂萃取法[8-12]
河北省某硫钴精矿中钴的赋存状态特殊,为非独立的钴矿物,主要以类质同象形式赋存于黄铁矿、磁黄铁矿中,而在黄铜矿中含量相对较少。针对该类硫钴精矿中钴的赋存状态,通常采用氧化焙烧—硫酸浸出工艺处理,所得钴浸出液再采用氧化中和法除铁、氟化铵沉淀法除钙镁,但所得溶液中仍含较高浓度的铜、镍离子。因此,试验研究了用P204+磺化煤油萃取体系从低浓度含钴浸出液中萃取分离铜钴,以期为P507萃取剂制备超高纯钴溶液的深度除杂提供技术参考。
硫酸钴溶液:硫钴精矿经氧化焙烧、硫酸浸出、氧化中和除铁、氟化铵除钙镁后的浸出液,主要化学成分见表1
试验试剂:P204(纯度大于98%,绿联化学科技有限公司),磺化煤油(纯度大于99%,茂名市源茂石化有限公司),氢氧化钠(纯度大于98%,永华化学股份有限公司),硫酸(纯度大于98%,国药集团化学试剂有限公司)。
试验设备及仪器:康氏震荡器(湖南前沿科技有限公司)、电位pH计(东莞万创电子制品有限公司)、梨形分液漏斗(博美(永清)玻璃有限公司)、CCD-1型平面光栅直读光谱仪(湖北省地质实验测试中心)。
基于P204萃取金属离子的难易程度差异,可以实现钴与其他杂质离子的萃取分离。P204对金属离子的萃取顺序为:Fe3+>Zn2+>Ca2+>Cu2+>Mn2+>Co2+>Ni2+[13-14]。因此,可将不同配比的皂化P204+磺化煤油有机相作为萃取剂,将铜离子萃取至有机相中,而将钴离子留在水相中,从而实现铜钴分离,之后以硫酸溶液为反萃取剂反萃取分离负载有机相中的铜钴。
将P204和磺化煤油按一定比例混合均匀配制有机相,再用氢氧化钠溶液对有机相进行皂化。根据预先设置的萃取条件,用硫酸调节萃原液初始pH,将萃取有机相和萃原液置于梨形分液漏斗中,振荡一定时间后静置,直至完全分相,分液后,钴留在萃余液中。之后,将负载有机相与反萃取剂硫酸溶液倒入梨形分液漏斗中振荡,静置分相,得到含铜反萃取液。用CCD-1型平面光栅直读光谱仪分析萃余液中钴离子浓度,用差减法得出有机相中铜离子浓度。金属萃取率(E)和萃取分离系数(β)计算公式分别为[15]:

式中:ρA—萃余液中金属离子质量浓度,mg/L;ρ—萃原液中金属离子质量浓度,mg/L;ρO—负载有机相中离子平衡质量浓度,mg/L;VA—萃余液体积,L;V—萃原液体积,L。
P204为酸性萃取剂,金属萃取过程是溶液中阳离子的交换过程,即P204中的羟基氢离子和水相中金属离子的交换,水相中的金属离子进入有机相,而P204中的氢离子进入水相中[8]。用硫酸调节萃原液pH,在有机相中P204体积分数25%、萃取相比VO/VA=1/1、萃取时间3 min条件下,萃原液pH对铜、钴萃取分离效果的影响试验结果如图1所示。
图1看出:随萃原液pH升高,铜、钴萃取率迅速升高;萃原液pH>4后,铜、钴萃取率小幅降低;铜钴分离系数随萃原液pH升高而快速增大,萃原液pH>4时,铜钴分离系数逐渐降低。综合考虑铜、钴萃取分离效果及萃原液pH成本,选择最佳萃原液pH为4。
增大有机相中P204体积分数,反应物浓度及相际接触面积会增大,可加快反应速率,增大平衡转化率。在萃原液pH=4、萃取相比VO/VA=1/1、常温条件下萃取3 min,有机相中P204体积分数对铜、钴萃取分离效果的影响试验结果如图2所示。
图2看出:随有机相中P204体积分数增大,铜、钴萃取率迅速升高:有机相中P204体积分数大于25%时,继续增大P204体积分数,铜、钴萃取率升高幅度较小。铜钴分离系数随P204体积分数增大而略有增大,P204体积分数大于25%时,铜钴分离系数反而逐渐减小。由于有机相中P204体积分数越大,有机相和水相的分相速度越慢,易导致生产成本增加。因此,综合考虑铜钴分离效果、有机相萃取性能及萃取剂成本,选择有机相中最佳P204体积分数为25%。
在萃原液pH=4、P204体积分数25%、常温条件下萃取3 min,萃取相比VO/VA对铜、钴萃取分离效果的影响试验结果如图3所示。
图3看出,随萃取相比VO/VA增大,铜、钴萃取率快速升高;VO/VA大于2/1时,铜、钴萃取率升高幅度变小;随VO/VA增大,铜钴分离系数增幅较小;VO/VA大于2/1时,继续增大萃取相比,铜钴分离系数逐渐减小。综合考虑铜钴分离效果和萃取成本,选择萃取相比VO/VA为1/1。
在萃原液pH=4、P204体积分数25%、萃取相比VO/VA=1/1条件下,萃取时间对铜、钴萃取分离效果的影响试验结果如图4所示。
图4看出:随萃取时间延长,铜、钴萃取率基本无变化。表明P204对铜、钴萃取速度很快,在3 min内萃取已经完成,萃取时间对铜钴的萃取效果影响很小。虽然铜钴分离系数随萃取时间延长有小幅提高,但综合考虑萃取能耗和铜钴的萃取分离效果,选择萃取时间为3 min。
以硫酸为反萃取剂,对萃原液pH=4、P204体积分数25%、萃取相比VO/VA=1/1、萃取时间3 min条件下所得负载有机相进行反萃取,进一步分离铜钴。
在反萃取相比VO/VA为2/1条件下,考察反萃取剂硫酸浓度对负载有机相铜钴分离效果的影响,试验结果如图5所示。
图5看出:硫酸浓度对铜、钴反萃取率影响很大,随硫酸浓度增大,铜、钴反萃取率快速升高。反萃取液中铜钴物质的量比随硫酸浓度增大先快速增大后趋于平缓,硫酸浓度大于0.10 mol/L时,铜钴物质的量比变化较小。因此,综合考虑硫酸成本和铜钴分离效果,选择硫酸浓度为0.10 mol/L。
在硫酸浓度0.10 mol/L条件下,考察反萃取相比VO/VA对负载有机相中铜、钴萃取分离效果的影响,试验结果如图6所示。可以看出:随反萃取相比增大,铜、钴反萃取率逐渐降低,铜钴物质的量比先增大而后逐渐减小;反萃取相比VO/VA小于2/1时,反萃取液中铜钴物质的量比逐渐增大。反萃取相比VO/VA大于2/1时,铜钴物质的量比都逐渐减小。因此,选择反萃取相比为2/1。
在萃原液pH=4、P204体积分数25%、萃取相比VO/VA=1/1、萃取时间3 min、反萃取剂硫酸浓度0.10 mol/L、反萃取相比VO/VA=2/1条件下,对硫钴精矿除杂后液进行两级萃取、四级反萃取试验,流程如图7所示,试验结果见表2
表2看出:在最佳试验条件下,萃原液通过两级萃取四级反萃取,萃余液中钴质量浓度为338.80 mg/L,铜质量浓度为2.96 mg/L,有机相中铜萃取率为98.32%,钴萃取率为9.97%,可知90.03%的钴留在萃余液中,说明经过硫酸反萃取,有机相中的铜钴得到了有效分离,有利于下一步提取钴。
采用P204+磺化煤油体系对硫钴精矿除杂后液,即低浓度铜钴溶液进行两级萃取、四级反萃取的多级逆流萃取分离铜钴是可行的。最佳萃取条件为萃原液pH=4,P204体积分数25%,萃取相比=1/1,萃取时间3 min;最佳反萃取条件为反萃取剂硫酸浓度0.1 mol/L,反萃取相比VO/VA=2/1。该条件下,铜萃取率为98.32%,90.03%的钴留在萃余液中,铜钴实现了高效分离。萃余液中钴浓度较高,铜离子浓度较低,还有少量镍离子,后续可采用P507+磺化煤油体系进行镍钴分离。试验结果可为处理该类溶液制备高纯度硫酸钴提供技术参考。
