The extraction performance of gallium in sulfuric acid solution with new alkyl hydroxamic acid DX201 and P204 was studied. The effects of extraction and stripping conditions on gallium extraction performance were investigated. The extraction and stripping isotherms were drawn. The results show that the single-stage extraction rate of gallium is 97.52% under the conditions of VO/VA=1/1, extraction temperature of 25 ℃ and extraction time of 15 min in sulfate solution with mass concentration of sulfuric acid of 20 g/L sulfate solution and organic phase composition of 10%DX201+15%P204+75%260#solvent oil. Using 2.5 mol/L dilute sulfuric acid solution to strip gallium from supported organic phase, the single stage stripping rate of gallium is 94.21% under the conditions of VO/VA=2/1, stripping temperature of 25 ℃ and stripping time of 2 min. The extraction rate of gallium in 3-stage countercurrent extraction is 99.64%, and the extraction performance is stable.

研究了新型烷基羟肟酸DX201与P204组成的萃取体系在硫酸溶液中萃取镓的性能,考察了萃取及反萃取条件对其萃取镓性能的影响,并绘制了萃取与反萃取等温线。结果表明:对于硫酸质量浓度为20 g/L的硫酸盐溶液中,在有机相组成为10%DX201+15%P204+75%260#溶剂油、萃取相比VO/VA=1/1、萃取温度25 ℃、萃取时间15 min条件下,镓的单级萃取率为97.52%;采用2.5 mol/L稀硫酸溶液从负载有机相中反萃取镓,在反萃取相比VO/VA=2/1、反萃取温度25 ℃、反萃取时间2 min条件下,镓的单级反萃取率为94.21%;用DX201进行3级逆流萃取镓,萃取率可达99.64%,萃取性能稳定。

The extraction performance of gallium in sulfuric acid solution with new alkyl hydroxamic acid DX201 and P204 was studied. The effects of extraction and stripping conditions on gallium extraction performance were investigated. The extraction and stripping isotherms were drawn. The results show that the single-stage extraction rate of gallium is 97.52% under the conditions of VO/VA=1/1, extraction temperature of 25 ℃ and extraction time of 15 min in sulfate solution with mass concentration of sulfuric acid of 20 g/L sulfate solution and organic phase composition of 10%DX201+15%P204+75%260#solvent oil. Using 2.5 mol/L dilute sulfuric acid solution to strip gallium from supported organic phase, the single stage stripping rate of gallium is 94.21% under the conditions of VO/VA=2/1, stripping temperature of 25 ℃ and stripping time of 2 min. The extraction rate of gallium in 3-stage countercurrent extraction is 99.64%, and the extraction performance is stable.

镓是重要的战略性金属矿产资源之一,广泛应于电子通讯、航天航空、医药卫生等高新技术领域[1-3]。在自然界中,镓主要以伴生形式赋存在铝土矿和铅锌矿中,其在伴生矿中含量很低,直接从原矿中回收成本很高,因此工业上通常以冶炼副产物为原料,从中进行二次提取,以实现镓的综合回收[4]。目前,约90%的金属镓是从氧化铝冶炼过程中的铝酸钠循环母液中吸附分离回收,其余10%左右的镓则是从煤粉和锌冶炼过程产生的浸出渣中回收[5]
萃取分离技术作为重要的分离富集工艺已得到广泛应用。目前,应用于萃取镓的萃取剂种类较多,按萃取剂的化学性质分主要为磷酸酯类萃取剂、羧酸萃取剂、羟肟酸螯合萃取剂等[4-7]。其中,磷酸酯类萃取剂又可分为酸性磷酸酯类和中性磷酸酯类萃取剂。酸性磷酸酯类萃取剂中以P204、P507、Cynex272研究最为广泛,中性磷酸酯萃取剂主要为TBP,在高浓度盐酸体系中应用较多[8-14]。羧酸类萃取剂萃取时间长,金属选择性差,尚未见相关工业应用报道[7-8]。羟肟酸类螯合萃取剂主要为烷基羟肟酸,具有代表性的有YW100、H106、7815、HGS98、G315和G8315[14-18]。一般烷基羟肟酸在H2SO4体系中单独使用时,镓萃取率较低,不足90%,通常与P204协同萃取,才能提升至98%以上。目前,工业上普遍应用的羟肟酸萃取剂是YW100萃取剂。该萃取剂主要是C5—C9烷基羟肟酸,存在易降解、水溶性大、稳定性差等问题,造成萃取剂大量消耗,制约了其工业化应用。为了满足镓等金属的高效萃取需求,探寻一种新型、高效且稳定的羟肟酸萃取剂十分必要。DX201是一种新型的烷基羟肟酸萃取剂,其疏水基团为长支链分子结构,羟肟酸基团所连碳原子位阻大,该结构保留了YW100萃取剂的螯合性能,具有水溶性小、凝固点低、黏度小、分相迅速等优点,且由于位阻的缘故,羟肟酸很难酸解,能极大地降低萃取剂水溶及酸解损失。因此,试验研究了采用DX201替代YW100萃取剂,探讨了其在硫酸体系中对镓的萃取性能,以期为工业萃取富集分离镓提供一种可选择的萃取剂。
试验原料:取自国内某锌冶炼厂,综合回收萃取除铁后料液,料液中硫酸质量浓度为27 g/L,主要化学成分见表1
试剂:DX201新型羟肟酸萃取剂(羟肟酸浓度≥80%,自制),P204(工业级,洛阳中达化工有限公司),260#溶剂油(工业级,洛阳中达化工有限公司),碳酸钠(分析纯,西陇化学试剂有限公司),浓硫酸(98%,分析纯,西陇化学试剂有限公司)。
设备:DGG-9053A型恒温水浴振荡器(上海森信实验仪器有限公司),ICP-OES型电感耦合等离子光谱发射仪(德国斯派克分析仪器公司)。
量取一定体积DX201和P204萃取剂,分别置于烧杯中,加入260#溶剂油作为稀释剂,搅拌均匀后作为萃取有机相,备用。
按照试验设定的相比VO/VA,将料液与萃取有机相装入分液漏斗中,再按萃取试验条件放入振荡器中,在设定温度下混合振荡一定时间。反应结束后,测定萃余液体积和其中金属离子浓度,计算金属离子萃取率E1。计算公式[13]

式中:ρB0—料液中金属离子质量浓度,g/L;ρB1—萃余液中金属离子质量浓度,g/L;V0—料液体积,mL;V1—萃余液体积,mL。
按照试验设定的相比VO/VA,将配制好的反萃剂与负载有机相装入分液漏斗中,再按反萃取试验条件置于振荡器中,在设定温度下混合振荡一定时间。反应结束后,测定反萃液体积和其中金属离子浓度,计算反萃取率E2。计算公式为

式中:ρB2—负载有机相中金属离子质量浓度,g/L;ρB3—反萃液中金属离子质量浓度,g/L;V2—负载有机相体积,mL;V3—反萃液体积,mL。
将P204与DX201萃取剂组成协同萃取体系,可使DX201油溶性提升,从而提高镓萃取率[19]。萃取反应方程式见式(3)。

采用硫酸作为反萃剂,可反萃取负载有机相中金属离子。反萃取反应方程式见式(4)。

式中:$\overline{HL}$代表DX201羟肟酸萃取剂,$\overline{{H}_{2}{A}_{2}}$代表P204萃取剂。
溶液中硫酸浓度采用氢氧化钠容量法测定;水相中金属离子浓度采用电感耦合等离子光谱发射仪(ICP-OES)测定,有机相中离子浓度通过差减法计算[14]
萃取有机相组成10%DX201+15%P204+75%260#溶剂油,萃取相比VO/VA=1/1,萃取时间10 min,萃取温度25 ℃,采用浓硫酸碳酸钠调节料液硫酸质量浓度,料液中硫酸质量浓度对金属离子萃取率的影响试验结果如图1所示。
图1看出:镓离子萃取率随料液硫酸质量浓度升高而降低;硫酸质量浓度为5 g/L时,锌、铜、镓离子萃取率分别为7.74%、5.52%、98.44%;硫酸质量浓度增至20 g/L,镓离子萃取率缓慢降至95.40%,锌、铜离子萃取率也有小幅下降;继续增大硫酸质量浓度,镓离子萃取率快速下降,而锌、铜离子萃取率保持稳定不变。主要原因是在硫酸体系中,随硫酸质量浓度下降,P204萃取剂对金属离子的萃取能力逐渐提高。结合文献[20]可知,P204萃取剂对金属离子的萃取顺序为Fe3+>Zn2+>Cu2+>Ga3+,且在硫酸质量浓度小于5 g/L时,P204对Zn2+和Cu2+萃取率较高[20],镓与杂质离子不能彻底分离,进而会影响镓产品质量。因此,确定料液中硫酸质量浓度为20 g/L。
料液中硫酸质量浓度20 g/L,萃取相比VO/VA=1/1,萃取时间10 min,萃取温度25 ℃,控制萃取有机相中P204萃取剂体积分数为15%不变,调节DX201和260#溶剂油体积分数,考察DX201萃取剂体积分数对金属离子萃取率的影响,试验结果如图2所示。
图2看出:DX201体积分数为2.5%时,镓离子萃取率为86.99%,铜、锌离子基本不被萃取;DX201体积分数增至10%,镓离子萃取率达98.21%;继续增大DX201体积分数至30%,镓离子萃取率仅有小幅升高,但铜离子萃取率大幅升高至16.06%。综合考虑,选择DX201体积分数为10%。
料液中硫酸质量浓度20 g/L,萃取相比VO/VA=1/1,萃取时间10 min,萃取温度25 ℃,控制萃取有机相中DX201体积分数为10%不变,调节P204和260#溶剂油体积分数,考察P204体积分数对金属离子萃取率的影响,试验结果如图3所示。
图3看出,P204体积分数对镓萃取率影响较大:P204体积分数由5%增至15%时,镓离子萃取率从84.25%升至96.50%,仅少量锌、铜离子被萃取;继续增大P204体积分数,镓离子萃取率升高不明显,锌、铜杂质离子萃取率逐渐升高,导致萃取分相困难。综合考虑,选择P204体积分数为15%。
料液中硫酸质量浓度20 g/L,萃取有机相组成为15%P204+10%DX201+75%260#溶剂油,萃取时间10 min,萃取温度25 ℃,萃取相比VO/VA对金属离子萃取率的影响试验结果如图4所示。
图4看出:随萃取相比VO/VA减小,镓离子萃取率呈下降趋势,而锌、铜离子基本不被萃取;相比VO/VA=1/1时,镓离子萃取率达最大,为97.72%,相比VO/VA减小至1/20时,萃取有机相接近饱和,影响镓离子的萃取。综合考虑,确定萃取相比VO/VA以1/1为宜。
料液中硫酸质量浓度20 g/L,萃取有机相组成为15%P204+10%DX201+75%260#溶剂油,萃取相比VO/VA=1/1,萃取温度25 ℃,萃取时间对金属离子萃取率的影响试验结果如图5所示。
图5看出:随萃取时间延长,镓离子萃取率升高,而锌、铜离子基本不被萃取;萃取时间2 min时,镓离子萃取率仅为34.43%,延长萃取时间至15 min时,镓离子萃取率达95.61%,继续延长萃取时间,镓离子萃取率变化不大。综合考虑,确定萃取时间以15 min为宜。
料液中硫酸质量浓度20 g/L,萃取有机相组成为15%P204+10%DX201+75%260#溶剂油,萃取时间15 min,萃取相比VO/VA=1/1,萃取温度对金属离子萃取率的影响试验结果如图6所示。
图6看出:萃取温度对镓离子萃取率影响不大,萃取温度升至25 ℃时镓离子萃取率即可达99.80%;铜和锌离子萃取率随温度升高略有变化,萃取温度升至65 ℃,锌和铜离子萃取率升至4.96%和12.24%。考虑到升高温度不利于镓与铜锌的萃取分离,同时有机相挥发损失会增大,因此,确定萃取温度以25 ℃为宜。
采用P204+DX201萃取体系在硫酸质量浓度为20 g/L料液中进行萃取时,氢离子浓度变化较小,因此,在MeCabe-Thiele图解分析法中采用改变相比法绘制平衡等温线,最终确定多级逆流萃取级数。萃取有机相组成为10%DX201+15%P204+75%260#溶剂油。选用镓质量浓度为0.56 g/L的料液进行萃取试验,控制萃取温度25 ℃、萃取时间15 min、萃取相比VO/VA分别为1/1、1/2、1/3、1/3.5、1/4.5,根据试验数据绘制McCable-Thiele图和操作线[12-16],结果如图7所示。可以看出:有机相中镓萃取容量为1.52 g/L,萃取操作线选用流比O/A=2.5/1,镓的萃取通过理论3级逆流萃取,萃余液中镓质量浓度为0.008 g/L,镓萃取率达98.57%。
选用稀硫酸溶液反萃取负载有机相,负载有机相中Ga质量浓度0.65 g/L,反萃取温度25 ℃,反萃取相比VO/VA=1/1,反萃取时间10 min,硫酸浓度对镓反萃取率的影响试验结果如图8所示。可以看出:硫酸浓度为0.5 mol/L时,镓反萃取率为14.51%;增大硫酸浓度至2.5 mol/L时,镓反萃取率接近100.00%。考虑到酸浓度过高会破坏DX201萃取剂结构,导致其分解,因此,确定硫酸浓度以2.5 mol/L为宜。
反萃取温度25 ℃,反萃取相比VO/VA=1/1,硫酸浓度2.5 mol/L,反萃取时间对镓反萃取率的影响试验结果如图9所示。
图9看出:反萃取2 min时,镓反萃取率为95.45%;继续延长反萃时间,镓反萃取率变化不大,基本保持稳定。综合考虑,确定镓反萃取时间以2 min为宜。
反萃取相比VO/VA=1/1,反萃取时间2 min,硫酸浓度2.5 mol/L,反萃取温度对镓反萃取率的影响试验结果如图10所示。
图10看出:温度为25 ℃时,镓反萃取率为97.73%;温度升高至45 ℃时,镓反萃取率为99.59%;温度继续升高至65 ℃时,镓反萃取率略有降低,为96.37%。考虑到硫酸溶液中,温度过高会加快DX201萃取剂分解,最终导致萃取剂失效,因此,确定反萃取温度以25 ℃为宜。
反萃取温度25 ℃,反萃取时间2 min,硫酸浓度2.5 mol/L,反萃取相比VO/VA对镓反萃取率的影响试验结果如图11所示。
图11看出,随镓反萃取相比VO/VA增大,镓反萃取率逐渐降低:反萃取相比VO/VA=1/1时,镓反萃取率最大,为97.31%;VO/VA增至2/1时,镓反萃取率降至94.21%,继续增大VO/VA至8/1时,镓反萃取率降至53.07%。综合考虑,确定反萃相比VO/VA以2/1为宜,工业生产中可通过增加回流提高镓反萃取效率。
试验采用改变相比法绘制镓反萃取平衡等温线。负载有机相中镓质量浓度为0.65 g/L,采用2.5 mol/L稀硫酸溶液作反萃剂进行反萃取试验,控制反萃取温度25 ℃、反萃取时间2 min、反萃取相比VO/VA依次分别为1/1、2/1、4/1、6/1、8/1,根据试验数据绘制McCable-Thiele图,按照流比O/A=4/1绘制镓反萃取等温操作线,结果如图12所示。可以看出:通过理论2级逆流反萃取镓,负载有机相中镓质量浓度降至0.04 g/L,镓反萃取率达93.85%以上。因此,采用2级逆流反萃取镓即可。
采用分液漏斗进行3级逆流萃取模拟试验。试验条件为:萃取相比VO/VA=1/1、萃取时间15 min、萃取温度25 ℃、萃取有机相组成为15%P204+10%DX201+75%260#溶剂油。3级逆流萃取后测定萃余液中金属离子含量,并计算萃取率,结果见表2。可以看出:经过3级逆流萃取后,Ga3+萃取率达99.64%,Zn2+和Cu2+萃取率仅为2.86%和0.93%,说明该萃取剂体系的萃取性能良好。
新型烷基羟肟酸DX201萃取剂可替代YW100萃取剂萃取硫酸体系中的镓,且萃取性能良好。在有机相组成为15%P204+10%DX201+75%260#溶剂油、料液硫酸质量浓度20 g/L、萃取温度25 ℃、萃取时间15 min、萃取相比VO/VA=1/1条件下,Ga3+的单级萃取率为97.52%;采用2.5 mol/L稀硫酸溶液反萃取镓,在反萃取温度25 ℃、反萃取时间5 min、反萃取相比VO/VA=2/1条件下,Ga3+的单级反萃取率为94.21%;经过3级逆流萃取,Ga3+萃取率达99.64%,Zn2+和Cu2+萃取率仅为2.86%和0.93%。该萃取剂性能良好,有望得到工业化应用推广。
