Extraction of copper from refractory copper oxide ore using a roasting—acid leaching process was investigated.The effects of roasting and leaching conditions on the copper leaching rate were examined. The results show that under the optimal conditions of -200 mesh grinding fineness of 70%,roasting temperature of 850 ℃,roasting time of 1 h,coal addition of 8%,liquid volume to solid mass ratio of 2/1,H2SO4 concentration of 15%,leaching temperature of 60 ℃ and leaching time of 3 h,the copper leaching rate can reache 91.03%.The process is demonstrated to be economically efficient for extracting copper from refractory copper oxide ore and is considered to have potential for broader application.

研究了采用焙烧—酸浸工艺从难处理结合铜氧化铜矿中提取铜,考察了焙烧与浸出条件对铜浸出率的影响。结果表明:在磨矿细度-200目占比70%、焙烧温度850 ℃、焙烧时间1 h、煤添加量8%、液固体积质量比2/1、H2SO4浓度15%、浸出温度60 ℃、浸出时间3 h的最佳焙烧—浸出工艺条件下,铜浸出率可达91.03%。该工艺能从难处理结合铜氧化铜矿中经济高效提取铜,具有一定推广应用价值。

研究了采用焙烧—酸浸工艺从难处理结合铜氧化铜矿中提取铜,考察了焙烧与浸出条件对铜浸出率的影响。结果表明:在磨矿细度-200目占比70%、焙烧温度850 ℃、焙烧时间1 h、煤添加量8%、液固体积质量比2/1、H2SO4浓度15%、浸出温度60 ℃、浸出时间3 h的最佳焙烧—浸出工艺条件下,铜浸出率可达91.03%。该工艺能从难处理结合铜氧化铜矿中经济高效提取铜,具有一定推广应用价值。

Extraction of copper from refractory copper oxide ore using a roasting—acid leaching process was investigated.The effects of roasting and leaching conditions on the copper leaching rate were examined. The results show that under the optimal conditions of -200 mesh grinding fineness of 70%,roasting temperature of 850 ℃,roasting time of 1 h,coal addition of 8%,liquid volume to solid mass ratio of 2/1,H2SO4 concentration of 15%,leaching temperature of 60 ℃ and leaching time of 3 h,the copper leaching rate can reache 91.03%.The process is demonstrated to be economically efficient for extracting copper from refractory copper oxide ore and is considered to have potential for broader application.

铜作为重要的金属资源之一,应用领域非常广泛,涵盖电力、电子、建筑、交通、机械、轻工等多个行业。尤其在电力和电子工业中,铜凭借其高导电性和导热性,发挥着重要作用[1-3]。铜矿主要分为硫化铜矿和氧化铜矿,而以氧化铜矿为原料提取的铜产量较高,占世界总产量的25%。目前,从氧化铜精矿中提取铜多采用酸浸—萃取—反萃—电积工艺流程处理[4-5];但随着氧化铜矿石开采品位不断降低,难处理矿石比例不断增加,直接造成提取成本不断上升[6-7]。因此,探索一种能高效经济地从此类难处理氧化铜矿石中提取铜的途径具有重要意义。
赞比亚露露矿区铜矿的矿物存在形式主要为绿磷铁铜矿,其含量较高,矿物嵌布粒度细,矿泥含量大,属于一种难处理的结合氧化铜矿石[8],采用单一的湿法冶金工艺难以达到理想的铜提取效果。因此,试验研究采用煤焙烧—酸浸工艺从该难处理结合氧化铜矿石中提取铜,考察了各因素对焙烧和浸出的影响,以期为难处理结合氧化铜矿提取铜提供一种高效且经济的方法。
难处理结合氧化铜矿石样品取自于赞比亚露露矿区,磨矿后过200目筛。样品的化学成分分析结果见表1,矿物组成及占比见表2,主要含铜矿物的成分与嵌布特征如图12所示,铜的物相分析结果见表3,粒度分析结果见表4
表2可知:原矿的矿物组成较简单,矿石矿物以含铁铜矿、褐铁矿为主,此外还有少量的绿松石、磁赤铁矿、钛铁矿、黄铜矿、斑铜矿、毒砂、磁黄铁矿、蚀变钛铁矿;脉石矿物主要为石英,其次是绢云母-白云母,以及少量对白云石、绿泥石。
含铁铜矿是矿石中的主要含铜矿物,粒度介于0.01~0.7 mm之间。主要呈团块状集合体分布,与褐铁矿紧密共生,其中可见少量丝脉状、叶片状褐铁矿,如图1所示;其次呈条纹状分布,与褐铁矿、石英紧密共生,如图2(a)所示;少量呈多孔状集合体分布,与细粒胶状褐铁紧密共生,如图2(b)所示。
表3可知:矿石中的铜以结合相为主,占89.97%。结合岩矿鉴定和岩矿测试等手段,确定铜是以磷酸盐形式存在。物相分析结果表明,绿磷铁铜矿以结合氧化铜形式存在。
表4可知:-0.01 mm粒级产率达25%,说明矿石的泥化现象严重。
主要试剂:煤、硫酸(98%),试验用水为自来水。
主要仪器设备:圆盘团球机(ZL5)、pH计(PHSJ-3F)、坩埚、鼓风电热恒温干燥箱(PTTRX-24PT)、烧杯、磁力搅拌器(JJ-1)、抽滤瓶(GG-17 2500 mL)、马弗炉等(SG-XL)。
因试验用矿石属于高结合相的氧化铜矿石,不宜选用浮选、重选、磁选等机械选矿法处理;另外矿石中含铜矿物性质较稳定,用常规酸浸和碱浸处理效果也不佳。因此试验选用预处理—酸浸处理工艺,以期经济高效浸出铜。经与委托方协商并结合赞比亚当地实际情况,确定以添加剂焙烧预处理—酸浸工艺进行试验。
在难处理铜矿石样品中加入煤,通过高温焙烧可破坏矿石结构,将其中的结合氧化铜还原为单质铜,进而使铜更易被硫酸浸出。焙烧—浸出过程中发生的化学反应如下:

Cu+2H2SO4=CuSO4+SO2↑+2H2O。
1)焙烧试验
取原矿样品100 g,加入一定量煤混匀,边加水边团球(4~6 mm);将团好的球放入干燥箱烘干后,再放入马弗炉中于一定温度下焙烧;焙烧结束后取出称重,取样送检测分析,剩余样品以备浸出试验用。
2)浸出试验
取焙砂50 g,加水和硫酸,之后通过水浴加热,开启搅拌进行浸出。待浸出结束后,将浆料进行过滤并洗涤3次,得浸出液和浸出渣。将浸出渣烘干后取样,采用火焰原子吸收光谱法测定其中铜含量[9],并按照下式计算铜浸出率η(以渣计)。

式中:m1—焙砂质量,g;w1—焙砂中铜质量分数,%;m2—浸出渣质量,g;w2—浸出渣中铜质量分数,%。
在焙烧温度850 ℃、煤添加量8%(相对焙砂质量)条件下焙烧1 h,再将焙砂在温度90 ℃、液固体积质量比2/1条件下浸出2 h,考察磨矿细度对铜浸出率的影响,试验结果如图3所示。
图3可知:随磨矿细度增大,Cu浸出率也随之提高,这是因为铜主要分布在细粒级中;磨矿细度-200目占比超过70%时,Cu浸出率变化不大。考虑现场实施性及经济可行性,确定磨矿细度以-200目占比70%为宜。
在磨矿细度-200目占比70%、煤添加量8%条件下焙烧1 h,再将焙砂在温度90 ℃、液固体积质量比2/1条件下浸出2 h,考察焙烧温度对铜浸出率的影响,试验结果如图4所示。
图4可知,随焙烧温度升高,铜浸出率升高:焙烧温度不超过800 ℃时,绿磷铁铜矿结构无法被破坏,导致铜浸出率较低;焙烧温度升至850 ℃时,铜浸出率为80.05%;继续升温至900 ℃,铜浸出率升高幅度很小,仅比850 ℃时高1.29%。综合考虑能耗及生产成本,确定焙烧温度以850 ℃为宜。
在焙烧温度850 ℃、矿石粒度-200目占比70%、煤添加量8%条件下焙烧;再将焙砂在温度90 ℃下、液固体积质量比2/1浸出2 h,考察焙烧时间对铜浸出率的影响,试验结果如图5所示。
图5可知:随焙烧时间延长,铜浸出率先升高后降低;焙烧时间超过60 min后,再继续延长焙烧时间,铜浸出率逐步降低,主要是因为焙烧时间过长会出现过烧现象。综合考虑,确定焙烧时间以60 min为宜。
在焙烧温度850 ℃、原矿粒度-200目占比70%、添加煤焙烧1 h;再将焙砂在温度90 ℃下、液固体积质量比2/1浸出2 h,考察煤添加量对铜浸出率的影响,试验结果如图6所示。
图6可知,随煤添加量增加,铜浸出率先升高后降低:煤添加量为8%时,铜浸出率达 90.14%;继续增加煤添加量至12%,铜浸出率仅增加0.74%;之后随煤添加量继续增加,铜浸出率降低,这主要是因为过量的煤会生成二氧化碳,阻碍反应进行。综合考虑,确定煤添加量以8%为宜。
综上,确定最佳焙烧条件为:磨矿细度-200目占比70%,焙烧温度850 ℃,焙烧时间1 h,煤添加量8%。将该条件下所得焙砂加入硫酸进行铜浸出试验,考察相关因素对浸出的影响。
液固体积质量比是决定浸出剂浓度的重要因素,对浸出效果有重要影响。在硫酸用量15%(相对焙砂质量,下同)、浸出温度60 ℃、浸出时间3 h条件下,考察液固体积质量比对铜浸出率的影响,试验结果如图7所示。可知:随液固体积质量比增大,铜浸出率呈先升高后降低趋势。这是因为液固体积质量比过低时,矿浆浓度变大,传质速度降低,抑制浸出反应进行,导致铜浸出率较低;但液固体积质量比过大时,浸出剂浓度较低,可能无法满足浸出所需条件,也会导致铜浸出率下降。综合考虑,试验选择最佳液固体积质量比为2/1。
浸出难处理氧化矿时,硫酸用量是影响铜浸出速率的重要因素。在浸出温度60 ℃、液固体积质量比2/1、浸出时间3 h条件下,考察硫酸用量对铜浸出率的影响,试验结果如图8所示。
图8可知,随硫酸用量增大,铜浸出率先升高后趋于稳:硫酸用量增至15%时,铜浸出率达 91.07%;再继续增大硫酸用量,铜浸出率保持平稳,无明显变化。但考虑到硫酸用量过大会将矿石中杂质引入至浸出液中,造成后续净化困难。因此,试验选择最佳硫酸用量为15%。
浸出温度对反应的速率和扩散速率产生重要影响。在硫酸用量15%、液固体积质量比2/1、浸出时间3 h条件下,考察浸出温度对铜浸出率的影响,试验结果如图9所示。
图9可知:铜浸出率随浸出温度升高先升高,当浸出温度超过60 ℃后变化不明显。这是因为矿物内部化学键在高温条件下易被破坏,使动能大于等于活化能的分子数目增多。因此,试验选择最佳浸出温度为60 ℃。
浸出时间在一定程度上能够反映铜浸出完成程度,是浸出反应的重要影响因素。在硫酸用量15%、浸出温度60 ℃、液固体积质量比2/1条件下,考察浸出时间对铜浸出率的影响,试验结果如图10所示。
图10可知:浸出时间3 h内,铜浸出率随时间延长而升高;浸出3 h时,铜浸出率升至91.32%;继续延长浸出时间,铜浸出率反而在小幅升高后呈下降趋势,这主要是因为浸出时间过长会使矿物表面形成沟流,影响溶液渗透速度,进而导致浸出率降低。考虑到浸出时间越长,矿石中杂质离子越易被浸出,造成后续分离除杂困难,因此,试验选择最佳浸出时间为3 h。
通过焙烧与浸出的条件试验确定最佳工艺参数为:煤添加量8%,焙烧温度850 ℃,焙烧时间1 h,液固体积质量2/1,硫酸用量15%,浸出温度60 ℃,浸出时间3 h。为考察该工艺的稳定性与可行性,在最佳条件下对铜矿进行3组平行试验。试验结果见表5。3组平行试验铜的浸出率基本变化不大,平均浸出率为91.03%,说明该工艺可行性好,浸出效果较好。
赞比亚露露矿区的铜矿的主要存在形式为绿磷铁铜矿,矿石中的铜以结合相为主,占89.97%,属于一种难处理的结合氧化铜矿石,采用常规工艺浸出时,铜难以达到满意效果。但采用煤焙烧—硫酸浸出工艺可从中高效提取铜,在煤添加量8%、焙烧温度850 ℃、焙烧时间1 h、液固体积质量比2/1、硫酸用量15%、浸出温度60 ℃、浸出时间3 h最佳工艺条件下,铜浸出率可达91.03%,浸出效果较好。该工艺稳定,与常规工艺相比具有一定优势,有一定推广应用价值。
