The effects of the changes of speed (N), distance (C1) from the bottom and pitch (C2) of the double-layer baffle three-arc blade composite paddle on the flow field in the stirring tank using particle image velocimetry (PIV) were studied. The flow field characteristics of the double-layer baffle three-arc blade propeller and the double-layer baffle-free three-arc blade propeller were simulated and compared. The results show that when the rotation speed N=110 r/min, the velocity distribution of the flow field in the kettle is relatively uniform, and the high-speed zone in the kettle is concentrated near the propellers. When C2=0.27h(h is the liquid level height of the stirred tank), the connection flow between the propellers is stable, and the overall mixing capacity in the kettle is significantly enhanced. When C1=0.29h, the area of the low-velocity zone in the kettle is greatly reduced. The baffle of the double-layer baffle three-arc blade propeller limits its radial pushing capacity, but the axial pushing capacity is significantly enhanced. The research results can provide a reference for the application of double-layer baffle three-arc blade propeller in practical industry.

通过粒子图像测速技术(PIV)研究了双层折流板三弧叶组合桨搅拌槽内转速N、离底距C1及桨间距C2的变化对流场产生的影响,并对双层折流板三弧叶桨和双层无折流板三弧叶桨的釜内流场特性进行了模拟对比。结果表明:当N=110 r/min时,釜内流场速度分布相对均匀,釜内高速区集中在桨叶附近;桨间距的提升会影响上下桨叶之间的相互配合效果;当C2=0.27h(h为搅拌釜液面高度)时,桨叶之间连接流稳定,釜内的整体混合能力显著增强;C1对近液面区域及釜底区域的混合效果影响较大,当C1=0.29h时,釜内低速区面积大幅减少;双层折流板三弧叶桨的折流板限制了其径向推流能力,但轴向推流能力得到了显著增强。研究结果可为双层折流板三弧叶桨在实际工业中的应用提供参考。

The effects of the changes of speed (N), distance (C1) from the bottom and pitch (C2) of the double-layer baffle three-arc blade composite paddle on the flow field in the stirring tank using particle image velocimetry (PIV) were studied. The flow field characteristics of the double-layer baffle three-arc blade propeller and the double-layer baffle-free three-arc blade propeller were simulated and compared. The results show that when the rotation speed N=110 r/min, the velocity distribution of the flow field in the kettle is relatively uniform, and the high-speed zone in the kettle is concentrated near the propellers. When C2=0.27h(h is the liquid level height of the stirred tank), the connection flow between the propellers is stable, and the overall mixing capacity in the kettle is significantly enhanced. When C1=0.29h, the area of the low-velocity zone in the kettle is greatly reduced. The baffle of the double-layer baffle three-arc blade propeller limits its radial pushing capacity, but the axial pushing capacity is significantly enhanced. The research results can provide a reference for the application of double-layer baffle three-arc blade propeller in practical industry.

搅拌设备是对不同物料进行混合以促进其充分反应的关键设备,在化工行业[1]的各工艺流程中应用十分广泛,包括反应、溶解、混合、浸出、萃取、干燥、冷却等[2]。其搅拌性能直接影响产品质量、生产效率和成本控制,因此研究搅拌釜内流场特性对改善搅拌性能具有重要意义[3-4]
粒子图像测速技术(PIV)是一种无接触式流动测量技术,基于图形图像处理原理能够实现对流场全场和瞬态测量。PIV通过对同一瞬时的流动图像分析,可获得测试区域内整个流场的速度分布[5-6]。计算流体力学(CFD)是计算机模拟的一种重要手段,能很好地预测流场特性[7]。将PIV技术与CFD模拟相结合,不仅能通过试验验证模拟结果的准确性,还能利用模拟结果优化试验设计,从而提高研究效率。
轴流桨(CBY)作为典型的三弧叶桨[8-9],适用于中低黏度流体的混合,尤其对固液悬浮混合效果更佳[10]。此外,CBY桨还具有低搅拌功率、强循环效果等特点[11],使其在工业应用中具有广泛的适用性。近年来,国内对CBY桨的研究主要聚焦于双层或多层组合搅拌桨系统[12-13],多层桨搅拌体系的功率特征与多种因素有关,包括搅拌桨选型、桨间距、下层桨离底距、上层桨浸没深度和流体的流动形态等[14-15]。为了深入研究这些因素的影响,研究人员采用数值模拟与试验相结合的方法,对CBY桨槽内的流场特性进行了探究;但研究方向多集中在传统三弧叶搅拌桨釜内流场特性方面,而对改进型三弧叶桨槽内流场特性研究尚未见报道。因此,试验采用PIV技术对双层折流板三弧叶桨的釜内流场进行研究,并将该组合桨与双层无折流板三弧叶桨槽内流场进行模拟对比分析,以期为双层折流板三弧叶桨的工程应用与优化改进提供参考。
方槽的模型如图1(a)所示,厚度为25 mm,高度L=1 000 mm,长度a=900 mm和宽度b=900 mm。试验开始前,向方槽中注入清水,使方槽与搅拌釜液面保持一致,并使CCD相机的拍摄方向垂直于方槽表面,以降低搅拌釜壁面反光带来的不利影响。试验用搅拌釜的筒体材质为透明树脂,筒底为标准椭圆形不锈钢封头,筒体和筒底的厚度均为6 mm,如图1(b)所示。搅拌釜内径T=430 mm,总高度H=670 mm,液面高度h=580 mm,通过调节离底距C1、桨间距C2和搅拌转速N,探究在不同工况条件下双层折流板三弧叶桨槽内的流场变化。
试验用双层折流板三弧叶桨中的上下桨尺寸完全相同,桨叶示意及结构参数如图2所示。带折流板三弧叶桨由轮毂、普通弧形桨叶和折流板3部分组成。其中,三弧叶弧形桨叶与轮毂竖直方向的夹角θ0=45°,叶片之间的夹角θ1=120°,轮毂的高度h0=40 mm,外径d0=40 mm,内径为d1=32 mm,折流板为圆弧形,焊接于桨叶尖端的中心,长度l0=50 mm,宽度l1=25 mm,折流板与桨叶的厚度t0=2 mm,桨叶直径D0=220 mm。叶片由宽叶、窄叶和弧叶组成,其中,宽叶长度l2=10 mm,窄叶与宽叶夹角θ2=10°,窄叶长度l3=55 mm,弧叶折弯角度θ3=35°,折弯半径r0=24 mm。
试验采用粒子图像测速试验平台进行研究。PIV试验平台主要由搅拌控制装置和粒子图像测速装置(美国TSI公司的制造产品)组成,粒子图像测速技术如图3所示。
试验选择密度1 198.1 kg/m3、黏度30 mPa·s的甘油-水溶液作为搅拌介质。首先将清水注入方槽直至方槽与搅拌釜的液面保持一致;然后根据多次少放的原则向搅拌釜内加入粒径为50 μm示踪粒子,以便粒子能够均匀分布,避免局部浓度过高或过低;同时,为了确保粒子成像的质量,在搅拌桨叶和搅拌轴表面均匀喷上黑色哑光喷漆,以防止激光照射其表面时产生反光影响粒子成像效果;之后根据转速、离底距、桨间距设置不同的试验工况,在满足所有试验要求后,开始连续拍摄,每一工况拍摄200组照片,以确保能准确获取整个流场的平均速度分布;拍摄完成后,提取图像,在Insight4G中进行预处理和后处理,目的是提升图像质量和数据准确性,最后利用Tecplot软件对处理后的图像进一步分析与处理,得到试验所需的速度云图。
为了保证模拟结果的准确性,同时尽可能减小网格数量,采用ANSYS 2022 R1中的Fluent Meshing组件对桨叶附近的动区域面网格进行加密,并在边界处添加3层边界层,模型的面网格和体网格如图4所示。在模拟计算中,选择RNG k-ε模型进行瞬态计算,使用多重参考系法对静区域和动区域进行设置。试验选择增加网格数量后的功率变化量作为变量进行网格无关性验证,在控制N=130 r/min、C1=0.29h(h为搅拌釜液面高度,下同)和C2=0.27h相同条件下,通过改变面网格的最小尺寸及动区域和静区域的网格尺寸来确定不同的网格总数,再将不同网格总数下搅拌功率进行对比。因划分网格数量为131万时,增加网格数量后功率变化量小于4%,故选择131万网格数量作为模拟网格数量。
RNG k-ε模型对标准k-ε模型的动力黏度系数增加一个修正项,在湍动耗散率ε的方程中增加一个项,该模型的湍动能K、湍动耗散率ε、湍动黏度系数μt和修正系数${C}_{ \epsilon 2}^{*}$的表达式如下:

模型方程中经验常数的典型取值为:Cμ=0.084 5,αε=1.39,Cε1=1.42,Cε2=1.68,η0=4.377,β=0.012。
图5为不同转速下釜内的速度云图。z/h为轴向无因次化位置,r/T为径向无因次化位置。由图5(a)看出:当N=90 r/min时,近液面0.7<z/h<0.9区域及近轴0<r/T<0.1区域出现面积较大的低速区;上下桨的高速区之间速度断层,导致釜内整体的轴向混合效果大幅降低。由图5(b)看出:当N=110 r/min时,低速区面积大量减小,近液面0.4<z/h<0.5、0.6<z/h<0.7区域的流体速度均明显加快;但近液面0.8<z/h<0.9区域仍存在部分低速区,这是由于近液面处的流体主要来自上桨叶的卷吸作用及壁面回流,说明转速增大对近液面区域流体速度的影响有限。由图5(c)看出:当N=130 r/min时,近液面0.4<z/h<0.5区域形成了稳定的高速循环流,上下桨叶的高速区面积无明显变化;转速的进一步增大并未使近液面0.8<z/h<0.9区域的低速区面积明显减小。综上分析可知,当N=110 r/min时,混合效率最佳。
图6为不同离底距下釜内的速度云图。由图6(a)看出:C1=0.26h时,近液面0.8<z/h<0.9区域的低速区主要分为近轴径向位置0<r/T<0.1区域和中部0.2<r/T<0.3两部分,由于上桨叶斜向下的推流作用明显,上下桨叶高速区之间0.3<z/h<0.4区域形成了明显的高速连接带。由图6(b)看出:C1=0.29h时,近液面0.8<z/h<0.9区域的低速区改善不明显;在下桨叶的卷吸作用下,上桨叶与下桨叶之间0.3<z/h<0.4区域的流速明显加快;但壁面回流与C1=0.26h相比有所减弱,导致近壁面径向0.4<r/T<0.5位置的近液面0.8<z/h<0.9区域流速显著降低。由图6(c)看出:当C1=0.32h时,离底距的进一步增大使釜底径向0.1<r/T<0.2位置开始出现低速区,使搅拌釜底部的混合效果减弱,近液面区域的低速区面积与C1=0.29h相比有所增加。综上分析可知,当C1=0.29h时,釜内流体的整体流动情况最好。
图7为不同桨间距下釜内的速度云图。由图7(a)看出:C2=0.24h时,近液面0.6<z/h<0.7区域出现连续的低速区;由于上下桨叶位置整体偏低,近轴0.7<z/h<0.9区域也出现大面积的低速区,易导致物料堆积与悬浮;近液面区域径向0.35<r/T<0.45处的流体速度相对较高,该区域不易产生悬浮物。由图7(b)看出:C2=0.27h时,近液面0.7<z/h<0.9区域及近轴0.6<z/h<0.7区域的低速区面积减小,说明桨间距增大使上桨叶的高速区上移,同时使下桨叶的高速区面积扩大20%。由图7(c)看出:C2=0.30h时,近液面0.7<z/h<0.9区域的低速区面积相比C2=0.27h时的明显增大;由于桨间距增大,使近液面0.4<z/h<0.5区域出现面积较小的高速区,但该区域的径向0<r/T<0.1区域的流体速度相比C2=0.27h时有所下降,对该区域的物料混合产生不利影响。综上分析可知,最佳桨间距为C2=0.27h
2种组合桨双层无折流板三弧叶桨、双层折流板三弧叶桨的桨叶模型结构如图8所示。
图8看出:与双层折流板三弧叶桨相比,双层无折流板三弧叶桨仅卸下了桨叶尖端处的折流板,其余尺寸参数一致。因此,依据原双层无折流板三弧叶桨在混合时间和流场特性等情况下选取的最佳工况,选取N=90 r/min、C1=0.32hC2=0.30h,并在该工况下对双层折流板三弧叶桨和双层无折流板三弧叶桨进行数值模拟对比。
图9为2种组合桨釜内的速度云图。从整体来看,双层折流板三弧叶桨和双层无折流板三弧叶桨都表现出轴流桨的特性,高速区集中在桨叶附近并向轴向扩散,转速较低导致椭圆形封头与圆柱筒壁的连接处出现大面积的低速区。
将2种组合桨釜内的的速度云图进行对比可知:折流板使桨叶尖端处的流速明显加快,但由于折流板会减弱径向推流作用,导致高速区的径向面积没有明显增加;由于轴向推流增强,使上下桨叶的高速区之间形成明显的连接流,改善了釜内整体的流体循环;折流板使釜底低速区的面积显著减小,进而缩短了整个釜内的搅拌混合时间。综上分析可知,折流板使搅拌釜内流速分布更佳。
图10为2种组合桨的釜内流型图。从整体来看,不同组合桨的上下桨叶处都出现了互相影响的高速涡旋,釜底0.4<z/h<0.6区间的流体均出现顺时针涡旋,0<z/h<0.32区域在下桨叶的向下排出作用下,都形成了大面积的顺时针涡旋,不同组合桨的釜内循环流动均由这4个涡旋组成。与双层无折流板三弧叶桨相比,双层折流板三弧叶桨折流板增强了其轴向推流作用,釜底0.4<z/h<0.6区间的顺时针涡旋向上桨叶靠近,使得该区间的流速明显提高;由于下桨叶的排出作用增强,双层折流板三弧叶桨的釜底形成了大循环流场,而双层无折流板三弧叶桨的釜底出现了2个涡旋,釜底的速度进一步降低,使得釜底的物料混合更易出现沉积现象。故在桨叶尾部加装折流板能够优化流场结构,在釜底形成大循环,加强釜内流体的循环能力。
图11为2种组合桨釜内的湍动能云图。从整体来看,湍动能的变化规律与流体速度相似,双层折流板三弧叶桨和双层无折流板三弧叶桨的桨叶处湍动能较高,且主要从轴向传递给整个流场,釜壁及釜底的湍动能整体处于较低水平。对比双层折流板三弧叶桨和双层无折流板三弧叶桨的速度云图可知:折流板限制了上桨叶湍动能的径向传递,但使上桨叶与下桨叶轴向区域的湍动能显著增大,提高了液面处及釜底的湍动能平均水平。综上分析可知,折流板的设置对流体湍动能分布有显著影响,提高了釜内整体湍动能的分布均匀性。
C1=0.29hC2=0.27hN=110 r/min最佳工况下,对数值模拟和PIV试验的流型图进行对比分析,结果如图12所示。可以看出:PIV试验和数值模拟的上下桨叶处均出现了高速涡旋,位置和大小也几乎一致,在0.5<z/h<0.8区域的模拟与PIV试验具有很好的一致性;PIV试验和数值模拟中0.46<r/T<0.50处的流体都呈现出沿壁面向上的流动方向;由于上下桨叶均为斜叶桨,PIV试验和数值模拟中z/h=0.5和z/h=0.3处的流体受到明显的斜向下的推流作用,该处的流型也呈现出斜向下方向;在r/T=0.13处的0.3<z/h<0.4区域,PIV试验中的流体沿垂直向下的方向流动,但数值模拟中的流体在z/h<0.35处出现分流,一部分与PIV试验中相同,沿垂直向下的方向流动,另一部分则回流到近轴区域。综上分析可知,PIV试验与数值模拟的流型图吻合度较高,故说明数值模拟能够对搅拌釜内的流场进行准确预测。
对双层折流板三弧叶桨釜内流场进行了试验研究,并验证了数值模拟的可靠性,将该组合桨和双层无折流板三弧叶桨的釜内流场特征进行了对比研究,得到的主要结论如下:
1)最佳转速为N=110 r/min,此时折流板的轴向推流作用增强,釜内的高速区集中在桨叶附近,釜内流体速度得到明显改善。当离底距C1=0.29h时,釜底没有出现低速区,上桨叶的推流作用能够对近液面区域产生有效影响,釜内整体的低速区有所减小,促进了釜内的介质混合。
2)合适的桨间距能有效提高上下桨叶之间的相互配合效果,改善釜内整体的循环流动。当桨间距C2=0.27h时,近液面低速区的面积显著减少,桨叶之间的速度分布合理,此时釜内混合效率最高。
3)对比2种组合桨的研究结果,双层折流板三弧叶桨上下桨叶之间的流型得到改善,有利于该桨釜内整体的循环流动。折流板优化了釜内湍流能量的分布情况,促进了液面与釜底区域的湍动能的提升。该组合桨釜内数值模拟与试验流型图吻合度较高。
4)加装折流板能够加强流体轴向推力,加快釜底流体速度,这对于提高湿法浸出等反应的效率具有一定意义。对比其他文献研究结果可知,该桨结合了折流板与三弧叶二者的特点,通过进一步优化流场特性,可提升该组合桨推进效率和混合效果。受限于试验条件,未对双层折流板三弧叶桨的实际釜内混合时间进行相关试验,后续有待进一步研究。
