With the high proportion of new energy connected to power grid, multi-machine parallel coordinated control of energy storage inverter has become a key problem. Virtual synchronous generator (VSG) algorithm can provide damping, inertial support and stable voltage frequency for grid-forming energy storage system. However, the parallel synchronization, stability, state of charge (SOC) of each stack and impedance of each line should be considered in the coordinated control of parallel operation of multiple energy storage inverters. To solve this problem, a parallel mathematical model of energy storage inverter is established, the methods of reactive power allocation considering virtual impedance and active power allocation considering SOC are analyzed, and an improved VSG control strategy combining self-adaptive virtual impedance and SOC equalization is proposed. Finally, a model is built on the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform, and the coordination control of each energy storage inverter is analyzed under the discharge condition with the all vanadium redox flow battery pack as the energy storage system. The validity of the improved VSG control strategy is verified, and the problem of over-discharge caused by voltage drop, reactive power and SOC difference caused by impedance difference is solved effectively, the utilization efficiency of the battery and the energy storage inverter is improved, and the life loss of the battery is reduced.

随着新能源高比例接入电网,储能逆变器多机并联协调控制已成为关键问题。采用虚拟同步发电机(VSG)算法,可以为构网型储能系统提供阻尼和惯性支撑以及稳定的电压频率。但多台储能逆变器并联运行的协调控制还需考虑并联同步、稳定性以及各电堆的荷电状态(SOC)和各线路阻抗的不同等。对此,研究建立了储能逆变器并联数学模型;分析了考虑虚拟阻抗的无功功率分配和考虑SOC的有功功率分配的方法,提出了一种结合自适应虚拟阻抗和SOC均衡的改进VSG控制策略。最后,在MATLAB/Simulink仿真平台上搭建模型,以全钒液流电池组作为储能系统,分析了各储能逆变器之间的协调控制,验证了改进VSG控制策略的有效性,有效解决了线路阻抗差异导致的压降差及无功功率不均和SOC差异导致的电池过度充放电问题,提高了电池和储能逆变器的利用效率,降低了电池的寿命损耗。

随着新能源高比例接入电网,储能逆变器多机并联协调控制已成为关键问题。采用虚拟同步发电机(VSG)算法,可以为构网型储能系统提供阻尼和惯性支撑以及稳定的电压频率。但多台储能逆变器并联运行的协调控制还需考虑并联同步、稳定性以及各电堆的荷电状态(SOC)和各线路阻抗的不同等。对此,研究建立了储能逆变器并联数学模型;分析了考虑虚拟阻抗的无功功率分配和考虑SOC的有功功率分配的方法,提出了一种结合自适应虚拟阻抗和SOC均衡的改进VSG控制策略。最后,在MATLAB/Simulink仿真平台上搭建模型,以全钒液流电池组作为储能系统,分析了各储能逆变器之间的协调控制,验证了改进VSG控制策略的有效性,有效解决了线路阻抗差异导致的压降差及无功功率不均和SOC差异导致的电池过度充放电问题,提高了电池和储能逆变器的利用效率,降低了电池的寿命损耗。

With the high proportion of new energy connected to power grid, multi-machine parallel coordinated control of energy storage inverter has become a key problem. Virtual synchronous generator (VSG) algorithm can provide damping, inertial support and stable voltage frequency for grid-forming energy storage system. However, the parallel synchronization, stability, state of charge (SOC) of each stack and impedance of each line should be considered in the coordinated control of parallel operation of multiple energy storage inverters. To solve this problem, a parallel mathematical model of energy storage inverter is established, the methods of reactive power allocation considering virtual impedance and active power allocation considering SOC are analyzed, and an improved VSG control strategy combining self-adaptive virtual impedance and SOC equalization is proposed. Finally, a model is built on the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform, and the coordination control of each energy storage inverter is analyzed under the discharge condition with the all vanadium redox flow battery pack as the energy storage system. The validity of the improved VSG control strategy is verified, and the problem of over-discharge caused by voltage drop, reactive power and SOC difference caused by impedance difference is solved effectively, the utilization efficiency of the battery and the energy storage inverter is improved, and the life loss of the battery is reduced.

随着可再生能源的快速发展,能源存储技术在电力系统中扮演着越来越重要的角色,储能成为新能源转型的必备基础设施。储能电站容量需求的不断增长,从兆瓦级到百兆瓦级的趋势日益明显[1]。在这种情况下,单个功率转换系统(PCS)已经难以满足储能系统的需求。但更大容量的PCS不仅对功率器件有更高的要求,其故障风险也增大[2]。因此,多个PCS并联运行的储能系统成为必要选择。
构网型储能系统由于具备提供惯量和阻尼支撑的能力,因此在电力系统中具有重要地位[3-4]。为了实现多PCS并联运行储能系统的有效控制,研究基于构网型虚拟同步发电机(virtual synchronous generator,VSG)控制策略,并考虑线路阻抗和储能荷电状态(state of charge,SOC)的问题非常有意义。这不仅可以实现多PCS协调运行,提高系统的稳定性和可靠性,也能有效解决线路阻抗差异导致的压降差和无功功率不均,以及储能单元间SOC差异导致的过度充放电等问题,从而进一步优化储能系统的性能,保障系统寿命。
针对以上问题,很多学者提出了改进的控制策略。文献[5-9]为提升系统稳定性,在储能逆变器控制算法上进行了改进。例如在PQ控制上考虑线路阻抗,有的为解决锁相环暂态失稳问题提出自适应暂态支撑方法,有的基于VSG控制以抑制光伏发电的随机性和波动性,还有的提出一种加入虚拟母线电压的改进控制以优化构网型储能变流器稳定性。文献[10-12]对级联储能系统DC/DC侧的SOC进行均衡控制。文献[13-17]对储能逆变器的稳定性及协调控制策略进行了研究和改进。上述研究中,有的没有考虑线阻差异导致的压降,有的没有根据SOC差异对输出功率恰当分配,或是采取传统的PQ下垂控制,稳定性不佳等。
基于上述情况,研究一种同时考虑线路阻抗和SOC差异的改进VSG控制方法很有必要。本文从储能逆变器的拓扑结构入手,首先分析了单个储能变流器的运行机理,根据级联系统的特征,分析了逆变器并联系统的原理,控制策略采用VSG下垂控制。为实现补偿线阻压降差和调节SOC均衡,在VSG控制中加入虚拟阻抗自适应和SOC均衡控制,通过对无功功率和有功功率的调节分配,实现并联储能系统的安全稳定运行。最后,在MATLAB仿真平台上进行了验证。
图1为并联运行储能系统结构,其中包括全钒液流电池储能装置、储能逆变器和交流负载。选择具有调频、调压、提供阻尼和惯性支撑的构网型VSG控制作为基本控制策略。
储能逆变器选择双级式两电平式拓扑,DC/DC部分选择双向Buck/Boost变换器,DC/AC部分选用电压型三相桥式逆变电路,拓扑中包含的元器件少,结构简单,控制难度和成本低。
图2为双级式两电平PCS电路拓扑。电压型三相桥式逆变电路由6个IGBT开关元件组成,经LC滤波器后连至本地负载。图2中:L为逆变器的滤波电感,R为滤波电感等效电阻,C为滤波电容,Rload为逆变电源接入交流负载,UbcIbc分别为逆变器直流母线侧的电压、电流,uoabcioabc分别为逆变器桥臂交流输出侧的电压、电流,uabciabc分别为负载侧电压、电流,uCabciCabc分别为流过滤波电容的电压、电流。
双级式两电平储能逆变器的控制主要由DC/DC变换器控制和DC/AC逆变器控制2个部分组成。DC/DC模块采用传统的电压电流双闭环控制;DC/AC模块在VSG控制策略下,将提供稳定电压的全钒液流电池作为虚拟原动机,提供虚拟机械转矩,逆变器的电动势等效为同步发电机的内电动势,逆变器的输出滤波感抗模拟同步发电机中定子绕组电抗,滤波电感和功率器件的等效电阻等效同步发电机的电枢电阻,逆变器输出端电压等效于同步发电机的电枢端电压,以此满足系统的功率需求,快速跟随功率指令[18-19]。本文在此基础上,加入结合自适应虚拟阻抗和SOC均衡的改进VSG控制方法,构网型储能逆变器并联运行的改进VSG控制原理如图3所示。
构网型VSG控制主要是模拟同步发电机的有功-频率和无功-电压下垂特性,以此实现调频调压。其中,VSG的机械方程与定子电气方程为:

1)在VSG有功调速器控制部分,由转子机械方程计算出VSG的机械功率和经调频后的实际输出转子角频率,计算公式为:

式中:ωvsg为VSG输出转子角频率;ωref为输出转子角频率参考值;kpf为调频系数;Pm为VSG的机械功率;Pref为输出有功功率参考值;P为励磁功率(由逆变器交流侧实际输出电压电流计算得出有功功率);Dp为常阻尼系数;J为转动惯量。
2)在VSG无功调压控制部分,通过模拟无功电压下垂特性调节逆变器的输出电压,可表示为:

式中:kqku分别为调差系数;Qe为经交流电网侧三相电压和电流计算出的无功功率;Uref为额定电压;Uvsg为实际输出电压;E0为空载电势;Em为励磁电势。
3)在电压电流双闭环控制部分,通过设计电压外环、电流内环2个PI控制器来实现无静差控制。
4)在VSG并联同步控制部分,设备间的电压和相位需保持同步,如果设备的电压和相位不一致,会导致并网失败和电流冲击。多台VSG并联运行时,通过测量逆变器交流输出侧的电压,经同步处理,实现电压相位和幅值的同步[20-21]
总体的VSG控制算法如图4所示。由图4可见,VSG控制算法由有功调频、无功调压、转子惯性环节、电磁方程、电压和相位同步以及电压电流双闭环控制构成。
构网型PCS并联控制中,功率的合理分配至关重要,逆变器控制参数、线路阻抗的不同,都会造成逆变器的输出功率不均,使系统间存在环流,从而影响系统稳定性。
有功功率按容量分配,额定有功功率P之比等于额定容量S之比,有功下垂系数与有功功率额定值成正比,因此考虑SOC均衡的控制可以通过调节输出有功功率实现均衡:

由于逆变器输出电压相等,无功下垂系数与无功功率额定值成反比[22]。因此,可以通过调节输出无功功率补偿线阻差异产生的压降差:

储能逆变器联机运行时,由于线路阻抗的存在,导致压降差和无功功率分配不均。一般在控制策略中,直接加入虚拟阻抗RviXvi来代表各线路阻抗差Rvi=-ΔRiXvi=-ΔXi以补偿压降落差,其表达式为:

式中:ΔUv为输出功率在虚拟阻抗上产生的电压降;ΔUi为第i个设备输出功率在线路阻抗上产生的电压降。
但这不可避免要提前测量线路阻抗值,在实际中难以实现;而且在长时间运行后,阻抗并非是一成不变的。为避免此缺点,在VSG控制的无功功率环部分,加入自适应调整虚拟阻抗部分,补偿压降落差,实现无功功率的均衡分配。
令虚拟电阻与虚拟电抗相等[23-24],即令Mvi=Rvi=Xvi,虚拟阻抗表达式为:

式中:负荷功率因数cotϕ=-Pi/Qi,虚拟阻抗值随负荷功率因数变化而变化。
自适应虚拟阻抗表达式为:

式中:LviKviQi分别为第i台设备的虚拟阻抗、虚拟阻抗积分系数和无功功率。最后得到的虚拟阻抗与VSG控制得到的电压参考值相叠加:

在实际运行时,储能系统的SOC存在差异,因此需考虑SOC不同来调整出力,即调整输出功率,让SOC高的储能模块分配更大的负载功率,以均衡各储能模块SOC,提高电池利用效率。
储能装置的SOC根据安时积分法估算,充电Is>0,放电Is<0,计算公式为:

在并联储能结构中,各模块通过低速通信获取当前系统各个储能模块的SOC,求得平均值:

其中,每个模块的均衡系数随时间变化更新:

当储能单元的SOC大于平均值时,ΔSSOC.i(t)>0ki(t+Ts)>0,储能单元输出较大功率,SOC下降速率更快,且ΔSSOC.i(t)越大,储能单元的输出功率越大。用MATLAB仿真均衡系数,均衡系数knt的变化如图5所示。
因此,给定有功功率计算公式为:

式中:kSOCi=ki(t+Ts)×kP。计算每个电堆SOC的增益系数,并反馈到各自的功率中,进行均衡调整。改进的VSG控制策略如图6所示。
为验证所提改进方法的有效性,在MATLAB中搭建并联储能系统仿真模型,具体如图7所示。由图7可见,该模型由3个并联的储能模块组成,每个储能模块由VRB、PCS和控制回路组成,3个VRB经过变流器升压后给交流母线侧供电。该仿真模型主要参数见表1
此外,需对转动惯量、常阻尼系数、各个控制环的PID控制参数等进行整定[25],选取合适参数使并联储能系统正常运行。
对比加入虚拟阻抗自适应控制前后的3个储能模块输出电压Uvsg和无功功率Q的变化情况,且在1 s和2 s时突增负载和突减负载,测试跟随情况,结果如图8图9所示。由图8图9可见,加入虚拟阻抗自适应控制后,电压降差被补偿,并实现了无功功率均分。
加入均衡系数前后的3个a相电流、SOC变化情况及输出的有功功率仿真结果如图10图12所示。可以看到,当加入SOV均衡控制后,电流相位保持同步状态,输出幅值变化,输出有功功率改变,即SOC大的储能模块输出电流和输出功率更大,SOC随之而下降更快,SOC小的储能模块输出电流和输出功率更小,SOC下降更慢,最后达到均衡。
1)本文在传统VSG控制的基础上,提出了一种考虑自适应虚拟阻抗和SOC均衡的改进VSG控制方法。输入的给定功率基准来自理想的输出功率和当前单元SOC和所有单元SOC的均值之差;输入的给定电压来自于VSG控制输出的励磁电势向量和自适应虚拟阻抗与输出电流乘积后的电压分量之差。最后在MATLAB/Simulink上仿真,对比分析并验证了改进方法的可行性和有效性。
2)本文所提改进VSG控制策略中的自适应虚拟阻抗控制模块,考虑了线路阻抗差异,能够补偿压降差,使无功功率输出实现均分。
3)本文所提改进VSG控制策略中的SOC均衡控制模块,考虑了各储能模块SOC不同的情况,能够合理分配给定有功功率,使SOC达到均衡输出。
