An efficient and feasible primary-side control method is proposed for the hybrid energy storage system (HESS) and wireless power transfer (WPT) system. This method can enable the system to dynamically maintain maximum power transfer under different charging states of the hybrid energy storage unit and keep the switching transistors of the Class E power amplifier (Eop) in a soft-switching operating state, ensuring stable and efficient wireless energy supplementation for the hybrid energy storage system. The system topology consists of an Eop, a series-series (S-S) type WPT circuit, and HESS. Based on the analysis of WPT transmission characteristics and Eop soft switching characteristics under different charging modes, the Eop optimal frequency tracking control and Eop soft switching duty cycle control strategies for HESS wireless charging are proposed. The key advantage is that all control mechanisms are located on the transmitting side, which can effectively reduce the volume of additional circuits in the energy storage unit on the receiving side and improve the volumetric energy density of the system. Finally, an experimental prototype is built based on the ZYNQ controller, and the experimental results show that the system can achieve efficient and stable wireless power transfer under different charging states and coupling conditions of the hybrid energy storage.

提出了一种高效可行的一次侧控制方法,用于混合型储能(hybrid energy storage system,HESS)与无线电能传输(wireless power transfer,WPT)系统,该方法能够使系统在混合储能单元不同充电状态下动态维持最大功率传输以及E类功率放大器(class E power amplifier,Eop)的开关管处于软开关工作状态,确保混合型储能稳定高效地进行无线能量补充。系统拓扑由Eop、串联-串联(S-S)型WPT电路和HESS构成,基于对HESS不同充电模式下无线电能传输特性及Eop软开关特性的分析,提出了针对HESS无线充电的Eop最优频率追踪控制及Eop软开关占空比控制策略。该控制策略的优势是所有控制机构均位于发射侧,这样可有效减少接收侧储能单元的附加电路体积,提升系统的体积能量密度。最后,基于ZYNQ处理器搭建了实验样机,实验结果表明,该系统能够在混合储能不同充电状态及耦合条件下实现高效稳定的无线电能传输。

提出了一种高效可行的一次侧控制方法,用于混合型储能(hybrid energy storage system,HESS)与无线电能传输(wireless power transfer,WPT)系统,该方法能够使系统在混合储能单元不同充电状态下动态维持最大功率传输以及E类功率放大器(class E power amplifier,Eop)的开关管处于软开关工作状态,确保混合型储能稳定高效地进行无线能量补充。系统拓扑由Eop、串联-串联(S-S)型WPT电路和HESS构成,基于对HESS不同充电模式下无线电能传输特性及Eop软开关特性的分析,提出了针对HESS无线充电的Eop最优频率追踪控制及Eop软开关占空比控制策略。该控制策略的优势是所有控制机构均位于发射侧,这样可有效减少接收侧储能单元的附加电路体积,提升系统的体积能量密度。最后,基于ZYNQ处理器搭建了实验样机,实验结果表明,该系统能够在混合储能不同充电状态及耦合条件下实现高效稳定的无线电能传输。

An efficient and feasible primary-side control method is proposed for the hybrid energy storage system (HESS) and wireless power transfer (WPT) system. This method can enable the system to dynamically maintain maximum power transfer under different charging states of the hybrid energy storage unit and keep the switching transistors of the Class E power amplifier (Eop) in a soft-switching operating state, ensuring stable and efficient wireless energy supplementation for the hybrid energy storage system. The system topology consists of an Eop, a series-series (S-S) type WPT circuit, and HESS. Based on the analysis of WPT transmission characteristics and Eop soft switching characteristics under different charging modes, the Eop optimal frequency tracking control and Eop soft switching duty cycle control strategies for HESS wireless charging are proposed. The key advantage is that all control mechanisms are located on the transmitting side, which can effectively reduce the volume of additional circuits in the energy storage unit on the receiving side and improve the volumetric energy density of the system. Finally, an experimental prototype is built based on the ZYNQ controller, and the experimental results show that the system can achieve efficient and stable wireless power transfer under different charging states and coupling conditions of the hybrid energy storage.

无线电能传输(wireless power transfer,WPT)技术通过非接触方式实现能量传递,具备供电灵活性与安全性[1-2],在旋转设备状态监测系统供电或高压隔离区域设备供电等特殊场景中具有独特的优势[3-5]。与此同时,混合储能系统(hybrid energy storage system,HESS)融合了蓄电池的高能量密度与超级电容器的高功率密度及快速响应特性,显著提升了储能单元的综合性能[6-8]。将WPT技术与HESS相结合构成HESS+WPT系统,有望为海上风电离岸储能平台、厂区/电站内的移动巡检系统和电动运输车辆等提供安全、便捷的无线能量补充方案,应用前景广阔[9]
然而,HESS+WPT系统的高效稳定运行面临一个核心挑战:WPT系统对负载阻抗、线圈耦合系数等参数高度敏感[10],而HESS的等效直流输入阻抗会随其充电模式、荷电状态(state of charge,SOC)、工作温度及老化程度发生显著变化[11]。如锂离子电池在SOC从5%升至100%时,其内阻可由约43 mΩ降至24 mΩ;当温度从10 ℃升至40 ℃时,电池内阻则可能从25 mΩ增至约75 mΩ[12-13]。这种宽范围的内阻波动使系统直流输入阻抗变化进而使系统偏离谐振状态,导致传输效率下降和功率不稳定[14]
为应对HESS输入阻抗变化带来的扰动,现有研究普遍采用在WPT接收侧(二次侧)引入额外电路结构的设计方案:如文献[15]在WPT接收侧添加并联匹配网络以抵消负载变化,但引入的谐振元件增加了损耗,而且在负载与耦合系数同时扰动时难以实现精准匹配,易导致发射侧功率器件的软开关失效与系统效率降低。文献[16]提出L-π型阻抗匹配网络,旨在将实际负载阻抗映射至不同耦合系数下的高效工作区,但同样增加了系统复杂性与潜在损耗。文献[1417]则在WPT接收侧引入DC-DC变换器,利用其阻抗变换能力补偿HESS等效阻抗变化,并结合智能控制算法追踪最优功率点。然而,DC-DC变换器本身会引入开关损耗与传导损耗。
综上所述,现有解决方案均存在接收侧增加匹配网络或DC-DC变换器等功率电路,将不可避免地带来以下问题[18]:新增的电感、电容、开关管等电路元件会产生附加损耗,降低系统整体效率[19];额外电路占用接收侧宝贵空间,显著降低系统的体积能量密度,尤其不利于空间受限的集成化应用。为解决上述问题,本文提出一种面向HESS+WPT系统的一次侧闭环控制方法。该方法的核心思想是:HESS+WPT无需配置接收侧的任何额外匹配或功率变换电路,仅通过对发射侧E类功率放大器(Eop)的精准调控,即可有效适配HESS等效输入阻抗的宽范围变化。其控制目标是在HESS不同充电状态下,同时确保系统实现最大功率传输(maximum power transfer,MPT)并维持发射侧Eop的零电压开关(zero voltage switching,ZVS)状态,从而实现高效和稳定的无线能量传输。并减少对接收侧的空间占用,有效提升系统的体积能量密度与工程实用性。
本文所构建的HESS+WPT系统拓扑结构如图1所示。该系统主要由三部分构成:高频变换器采用E类功率放大器拓扑;WPT部分采用串联-串联(S-S)型拓扑;接收侧部分由全桥不控整流器及混合储能系统构成。值得注意的是,HESS中的超级电容同时作为全桥不控整流器的滤波电容。
针对E类功放负载网络中的S-S型WPT拓扑进行分析,建立其对应的耦合模方程为:

式中:Γ1=ΓR+ΓLω1=ωTωω2=ωRω;储能模幅值αTαR定量表征了无线电能传输系统中发射线圈、接收线圈存储电磁能量的能力,其大小直接反映线圈在特定工作状态下的电磁储能水平。
根据式(3),系统的输出功率P0可表示为:

考虑到HESS在充电过程中等效输入电阻RL的变化,需分析系统在不同RL下的传输特性,图2为输出功率随HESS等效输入电阻的变化关系。由图2可知,随着HESS等效输入电阻RL减小,系统输出功率的峰值由单值分裂为2个以固谐振角频率ω0图2中绿色虚线)为对称中心的对称频率点。为确保系统在充电过程中维持较高输出功率,选取输出功率峰值对应的频率点作为系统实际工作点。
进一步分析选定工作点处的系统传输效率,首先,根据式(3)和式(4)计算系统的输入功率Pin

图3展示了不同HESS等效输入电阻RL下系统传输效率的变化关系。从图3可知,在不同RL下,系统传输效率的最大值均出现在固有谐振频率ω0处。然而,输出功率曲面中分裂峰值对应的传输效率低于ω0处的效率值(图3中的红色曲线)。
此外,随着RL减小,分裂峰值点处的传输效率降低,这源于RL相对于系统等效串联损耗减小所致。尽管如此,该点处的传输效率仍可表示为:

在此工作点,系统效率损失主要来源于原、副边谐振子的等效串联损耗。鉴于储能锂电池的直流等效输入电阻通常在几欧姆至几十欧姆之间,而原、副边谐振子的等效串联损耗仅为几十至几百毫欧,因此该点对应的系统传输效率仍可维持在较高水平。综合系统传输特性分析结果,选取最终输出功率峰值对应的频率点作为系统实际工作频率点。
对系统的高频变换器(E类功放)拓扑进行分析,系统实际工作频率范围为数十万赫兹到数兆赫兹,而HESS等效输入电阻RL的变化时间尺度要远大于该频率范围,因此在应用基尔霍夫定律分析时,可将RL视为准静态值,假设流过E类功放负载网络的电流为:

在实际工作中,系统负载网络的等效电阻Req与等效电抗Xeq会随着充电状态及线圈耦合系数变化而变化,因此可表示为时间t的函数,即Reqt)、Xeqt)。相应的,控制参数ωt)和Dt)也表示为时间t的函数,以反映系统对扰动的实时响应。其中ωt)为上文通过传输特性分析得到的最优工作角频率,式(10)—式(12)建立了系统控制参数(ωD)与扰动参数(ReqXeq)之间的关系。进一步结合E类功放的零电压开关(ZVS)约束方程:

针对HESS等效输入阻抗以及耦合系数变化,联立求解式(10)—式(13),可动态调节开关管占空比Dt),由于方程组包含三角函数、非线性项及时间变量,解析法难以直接求解,实际采用数值解法—牛顿迭代法,具体求解的步骤如下:

考虑到HESS等效阻抗的变化时间尺度(秒级)远大于开关周期(微秒级),可将Reqt)和Xeqt)视为准静态变量,在每个控制周期内固定其值进行求解,从而降低计算复杂度。当残差绝对值|f1|、|f2|、|f3|均小于设定阈值(本文设置为10–6)时,停止迭代,输出当前Dφ
通过初始值设定、残差方程构建及迭代更新实现数值收敛,结合高频谐波忽略和准静态假设简化计算。求解精度可通过残差收敛性、实验波形对比及理论边界验证确保,最终实现E类功放开关管的软开关控制,提升系统效率。该策略旨在在一定耦合系数范围内实现与RL变化无关的软开关工作模式,从而保障系统整体高效运行。
基于第1节选取的最优工作频率及开关管占空比,设计系统闭环控制策略。系统整体控制策略逻辑流程如图4所示。
为实现HESS+WPT系统闭环控制,需实时获取发射线圈与接收线圈间的耦合系数k及HESS等效输入电阻RL。本文提出一种仅需在系统一次侧测量的参数辨识方法。
在系统发射侧同步采集Eop负载网络端电压及流经该网络的电流波形,结果如图5所示。
由于E类功放负载网络的端电压包含直流、基波和谐波(主要为倍频)分量,需首先提取其基波分量,随后结合Eop负载网络等效阻抗与电压、电流基波分量间关系方程(式(17)和式(18)),联立求解可得线圈耦合系数k及HESS等效输入电阻RL

利用参数辨识得到的线圈耦合系数k和HESS等效输入电阻RL,动态调整系统工作频率至最优值,以确保在RL变化时系统实现最大功率传输。控制流程(图4)的核心是判断系统当前工作点是否处于频率分裂区域。
可以根据式(19)判断系统是否处于频率分裂区域[16]

处于分裂区域(kkc):将系统工作频率设定为输出功率峰值对应的频率(即频率分裂点)。研究表明,在非过渡的分裂区域,输出功率峰值点与宇称-时间(PT)对称磁耦合谐振式WPT(MCR-WPT)系统的对称工作频率点高度重合。因此,可采用PT对称频率近似替代分裂点频率,简化计算。PT对称频率计算公式为:

式(20)表明,S-S型MCR-WPT系统在对称区内存在2个PT对称频率解,分别对应频率分裂后的2个输出功率峰值点。2点的传输特性相同,可任选其一作为系统的实际工作频率。然而实际应用中,较高的工作频率对系统的低损耗设计及开关管驱动挑战更大。因此,控制策略中通常选取低频分支作为实际工作频率。
处于非分裂区域(k<kc):将系统工作频率设定为:

在系统工作频率调整至最优值的基础上,结合第1节选取的最优占空比,确保Eop开关管在RL变化下实现零电压(ZVS)软开关工作。
Eop开关管占空比D的设计依赖其负载网络的等效阻抗Zeqt)=Reqt)+jXeqt)。而该阻抗值取决于系统当前所处区域(分裂或非分裂)及辨识得到的参数。
处于分裂区域:此时,副边回路折算到原边的电抗与原边回路电抗相互抵消。负载网络的总电阻Req由副边负载电阻RL和等效串联电阻(ESR)折算到原边后,与原边等效串联电阻共同构成:

相较于传统的HESS+WPT系统固定频率或占空比的控制方案,本文通过同时动态调控工作频率ωt)和开关管占空比D2个自由度,使系统能够在RL宽范围变化的情况下,同时实现最大功率传输(MPT)和Eop开关管的软开关工作,从而显著提升系统效率和功率传输能力。
本文参数辨识速度显著优于传统二次侧辨识方法,图6为一次侧参数辨识与二次侧参数辨识精度误差。由图6可见,一次侧参数辨识和二次侧参数辨识方法精度相差小于0.5%。本文在提高能量密度、减小系统体积的同时避免了传统二次侧控制方法的通信延迟问题,进一步保障了系统在动态工况下的高效稳定运行。
结合HESS在“车载辅助储能”场景等典型应用场景的需求,本文使用能量配比为1:12(超级电容能量:锂电池能量)。参考《GB/T 31467.3—2015电动汽车用锂离子动力蓄电池包和系统第3部分:安全性要求与测试方法》中“常温充电测试”标准,将充电环境温度固定为(25±1)℃。实验样机设计包含主电路与控制器两部分,其中主电路依据图1所示拓扑设计,系统的固有频率ω0(即LTCTLRCR的谐振频率)设定为433 kHz。其他主要参数可按照扼流电感Lf2(π24+1)RLf,剩余电感Lbπ(π24)RL16ω0,开关管并联电容C18π(π2+4)ω0RL进行设计。
为降低系统传导损耗,发射与接收线圈采用利兹线绕制;并通过对绕制线圈分段串接补偿电容,减小线圈匝间的介质损耗,绕制的传能线圈如图7所示。使用阻抗分析仪测量谐振子阻抗特性,结果如图8所示。
图8可见,在433 kHz处,红色曲线过零(电抗值X=0),谐振子发生串联谐振,该点即为固有频率点。计算可得绕制线圈电感值为134.86 μH。谐振频率下,谐振子等效串联阻抗为673 mΩ。发射与接收侧线圈对称,谐振子总等效串联电阻约为1.2 Ω。将绕制的发射与接收线圈安装于可轴向移动的导轨上,通过调整线圈相对位置,模拟系统实际工作过程中的线圈偏移。HESS+WPT测试系统如图9所示。其中发射与接收侧线圈固定于同一导轨上,其轴向中心保持对齐,仅发射侧的采样与控制接口连接至控制器。
控制器由AD9434采样模块和ZYNQ处理器构成,ZYNQ处理器内部逻辑如图10所示。首先,对系统负载网络端口电压以及流入电流进行采样与滤波。鉴于主电路工作频率高,采样与控制速率要求严苛,此部分由ZYNQ的FPGA单元(PL)实现。随后,基于采样波形辨识kRL,并计算开关管控制信号,此部分由ZYNQ的ARM单元(PS)实现。
耦合系数随发射线圈与接收线圈之间距离的变化如图11所示。由图11可见,耦合系数随线圈距离的增加呈现显著的下降趋势。当发射线圈与接收线圈之间的距离较小时,耦合系数下降速率极快。在近距离下,线圈间的磁场耦合程度对距离变化极为敏感,微小的距离增加会导致磁场的有效交链面积和磁通量密度大幅降低,从而使耦合系数迅速衰减。随着距离进一步增大,耦合系数的下降速率逐渐变缓,呈现出缓慢趋近于0的趋势。这是由于当距离较大时,线圈产生的磁场在空间中扩散范围广,能够交链到接收线圈的磁通量占比已很小,后续距离的增加对磁通量交链的影响程度相对减弱,此时线圈间几乎无有效磁耦合,能量难以通过磁耦合方式传输,直观地反映了无线电能传输系统中磁耦合程度与线圈间距密切相关,且距离对耦合的影响在不同间距阶段表现出不同敏感性的特性。
验证系统在多种充电模式下的工作状态。首先测试其能否跟踪系统最优频率工作点。选取5 V1 A(RL≈5 Ω)、5 V0.5 A(RL≈10 Ω)、5 V0.33 A(RL≈15 Ω)共3种充电模式。系统工作频率随耦合系数的变化关系如图12所示。由图12可见,实验结果与理论值基本吻合,最大频率误差低于1%。误差主要源于有限的采样精度及电路高频寄生参数,导致辨识得到的kRL存在偏差,进而影响工作频率计算精度。
随后测试不同HESS充电模式及WPT工作区域下前级Eop的工作状态。开关管端电压在一个周期内的波形如图13所示。
图13可见,在不同充电模式及耦合系数下,当开关管导通时,其端电压均能够降至0附近,表明Eop的ZVS工作条件基本独立于充电模式及耦合系数。这有效降低了激励源开关管的电压与电流应力要求及高频开关损耗。
图14展示了测量得到的不同充电模式下,系统传输效率随耦合系数的变化关系。图14中阴影区域标示对应充电模式下的频率分裂区域,在最优频率追踪下,分裂区间内的传输效率最大标准差小于0.023 8%,且效率值近似等于HESS等效输入电阻与谐振子等效串联电阻的分压比。这是由于激励源的软开关特性使得开关管损耗极低,系统效率损失主要集中于谐振子及PCB板。同时可见,在分裂区内系统效率基本保持恒定,与理论分析一致,这对系统稳定工作至关重要。
为验证系统适用边界,开展“负载电阻-耦合系数-工作频率”的全工况实验,结果如图15所示。结合频率分裂理论与E类功放软开关约束,对适用边界分析如下:
非极端工况耦合系数k12反映发射线圈与接收线圈间的磁耦合程度。当k12增大时,线圈间能量传输效率提升,系统谐振特性更稳定。为维持E类功放的零电压开关条件(ZVS),占空比D需适配变化的谐振参数,因此占空比呈现出随k12变化的平滑过渡趋势;负载电阻RL决定系统的能量消耗与功率传输需求。当RL在合理范围内变化时,系统需通过调整占空比D来匹配功率需求:若RL减小,负载功率需求增大,E类功放需增大占空比以输出更多能量;若RL增大,功率需求减小,占空比则相应降低。
极端工况当RL超过阈值时,系统无法正常传输功率,此阈值为负载电阻的最大适用值。占空比的变化维持能量传输效率与功放工作稳定性,对功率需求、磁耦合特性的动态适配;而极端工况下占空比置零,作为系统在故障风险下的保护机制。
一次侧控制方法将所有控制策略设于发射侧,无需在二次侧配置任何额外的采样电路与通信电路,有效减少了接收侧储能单元的附加电路体积,显著提升了系统的体积能量密度,同时精度可满足工业控制的要求,更适应集成化应用。同时,传统二次侧辨识方法存在参数采集、信号传输、数据处理的完整流程,采集参数后,需通过通信电路将数据传输至发射侧,这一过程会产生一定的信号延迟,导致时序控制速度受限。而一次侧控制方法直接在发射侧完成参数采集与数据处理,无需经过二次侧采样与跨侧通信环节,大幅缩短了参数辨识与控制策略制定的时间,使系统能更快速地响应HESS等效输入阻抗变化及线圈耦合系数扰动。图16为一次侧负载扰动辨识速度与二次侧负载扰动辨识速度对比,图17为耦合系数一次侧辨识与二次侧辨识对比。从图16图17可以看到一次侧控制在负载扰动和耦合系数变化的辨识速度上均优于二次侧控制,本质源于检测位置和信号处理传输的简便,减少了间接推导与跨侧通信带来的延迟,更适配负载频繁波动、线圈相对偏移的动态工况。
本文提出了一种用于混合型储能的高效WPT系统一次侧控制方法。主要结论如下。
1)基于对HESS不同充电模式下WPT传输特性的分析,发现当系统工作频率调整至输出功率峰值点时,可实现原副边线圈谐振匹配,确保传输效率稳定。据此选取该点作为系统最优工作频率点。
2)建立了系统激励源(Eop)瞬态方程,通过使WPT系统与Eop谐振匹配,求解出维持软开关工作的最优开关管占空比。
3)结合最优频率与占空比,设计了基于副边参数反演与分区控制原理的一次侧控制方法,实现了在发射侧对系统全工况的控制,使系统在分裂区与非分裂区均能实现最大功率传输(MPT)及软开关工作。
4)基于ZYNQ控制器实现了闭环控制方案,利用其FPGA单元处理高速信号,ARM单元处理低速计算。实验验证表明,系统能在不同充电模式及耦合系数下准确跟踪传输功率峰值点,且开关管始终维持软开关工作状态,从而保障HESS+WPT系统在充电过程中高效稳定的能量传输。
