With the accelerated development of information technologies, digital and intelligent development has gradually become an important means for oil and gas companies to cope with the pressure of carbon emission reduction and large fluctuations in oil prices, maintain competitive advantages, and achieve high-quality development. This paper discusses the trend and great value of digital transformation brought by information technologies to oil and gas companies in China and abroad, summarizes four development stages of international petroleum engineering software, as well as the development and application of integrated E&P platform and real-time drilling operation center, and introduces the top-level design scheme and successful practice of digital transformation of CNOOC. CNOOC has carried out smart oilfield construction by using advanced information technologies, established the network communication systems for offshore platforms and drilling ships, and developed the real-time E&P decision-making system, “Xuanji” rotary steering drilling and logging while drilling system, drilling expert decision-making system (E-Drilling), and integrated design cloud platform for drilling and completion, which have achieved excellent application results. This paper also analyzes four challenges in digital and intelligent development in China’s offshore petroleum engineering and puts forward five suggestions for development.

随着信息技术的加速发展,数字化智能化发展逐渐成为油气企业应对碳减排和油价大幅波动压力、保持竞争优势、实现高质量发展的重要手段。文章论述了信息技术为国内外油气行业带来的数字化转型趋势和巨大价值,总结分析了国际石油工程软件发展的4个阶段、勘探开发一体化平台和钻井实时作业中心的发展与应用情况,介绍了中国海洋石油集团有限公司(简称中国海油)的数字化转型顶层设计方案和成功实践。中国海油利用先进的信息技术开展智能油田建设,建立了海上平台和钻井船的网络通信系统,研发了勘探开发实时决策系统、“璇玑”旋转导向钻井与随钻测井系统、钻井专家决策支持系统(E-Drilling)和钻完井一体化设计云平台,获得了很好的应用效果。文章还分析了中国海洋油气工程数字化智能化发展面临的4个挑战,并提出了5条发展建议。

This paper discusses the trend and great value of digital transformation brought by information technologies to oil and gas companies in China and abroad, summarizes four development stages of international petroleum engineering software, as well as the development and application of integrated E&P platform and real-time drilling operation center, and introduces the top-level design scheme and successful practice of digital transformation of CNOOC. CNOOC has carried out smart oilfield construction by using advanced information technologies, established the network communication systems for offshore platforms and drilling ships, and developed the real-time E&P decision-making system, “Xuanji” rotary steering drilling and logging while drilling system, drilling expert decision-making system (E-Drilling), and integrated design cloud platform for drilling and completion, which have achieved excellent application results. This paper also analyzes four challenges in digital and intelligent development in China’s offshore petroleum engineering and puts forward five suggestions for development.

With the accelerated development of information technologies, digital and intelligent development has gradually become an important means for oil and gas companies to cope with the pressure of carbon emission reduction and large fluctuations in oil prices, maintain competitive advantages, and achieve high-quality development.
