The steer-by-wire technology is the key technology for the future development of pure electric vehicles, as the key execution system of the X-by-wire chassis, the mechanical connection is canceled, the steering operation is directly transmitted by electrical signals, the control mode is more flexible, the modular structure can be realized, the coupling and control freedom between the steering system and other subsystems of the chassis are improved. Therefore, the steer-by-wire system is an important part of the drive-by-wire chassis system. In order to provide a useful reference for R&D units and enterprises related to steer-by-wire technology, this paper uses patent analysis method to sort out key technical points in steering strategies, integrated systems and other aspects from the perspective of patent disclosure trend and patent technology composition. This paper also analyzes the development status of steer-by-wire technology of pure electric vehicles from macro and micro perspectives, proposes the key directions for future patent layout in the field of steer-by-wire for pure electric vehicle in China.

线控转向系统是线控底盘系统的重要组成部分,作为线控底盘的关键执行系统,取消了机械连接,转向操作由电信号直接传达,控制方式更加灵活,可实现模块化结构,提高了转向系统与底盘其他子系统的耦合性和控制自由度,是纯电动汽车未来发展的关键技术之一。为了探索纯电动汽车线控转向技术态势情况,为线控转向技术相关的研发单位、企业提供有益的参考,利用专利分析方法,从专利公开态势、专利技术构成等方面梳理了转向策略、集成系统等方面的关键技术点,从宏观、微观角度剖析了纯电动汽车线控转向技术发展现状,同时提出了我国纯电动汽车线控转向领域未来的专利布局重点方向。

The steer-by-wire technology is the key technology for the future development of pure electric vehicles, as the key execution system of the X-by-wire chassis, the mechanical connection is canceled, the steering operation is directly transmitted by electrical signals, the control mode is more flexible, the modular structure can be realized, the coupling and control freedom between the steering system and other subsystems of the chassis are improved. Therefore, the steer-by-wire system is an important part of the drive-by-wire chassis system. In order to provide a useful reference for R&D units and enterprises related to steer-by-wire technology, this paper uses patent analysis method to sort out key technical points in steering strategies, integrated systems and other aspects from the perspective of patent disclosure trend and patent technology composition. This paper also analyzes the development status of steer-by-wire technology of pure electric vehicles from macro and micro perspectives, proposes the key directions for future patent layout in the field of steer-by-wire for pure electric vehicle in China.

随着电动化、智能化、轻量化以及各类前沿技术的进步,新能源汽车进入了新时代,彻底颠覆了传统车辆的底盘架构,这些颠覆性的底盘技术不仅体现在底盘结构布局的变化上,还涉及到材料的创新型应用、软件控制的转变等。底盘系统包含了悬架、制动、转向等子系统,影响着整车的舒适性、安全性与操控性。
汽车转向系统能够维持车辆在转向盘转动时的稳定性,随着电子技术的发展,线控转向(Steering-By-Wire,SBW)控制技术成为汽车转向系统发展的必然方向。线控转向系统取消了转向盘与转向执行机构之间的机械连接部分[1],由电能来实现转向,通过电信号传递驾驶员的转向意图,并及时做出路面信息反馈。线控转向具有安全性能高、驾驶稳定性高、驾驶空间大、转向比可变性强及系统适配性好等优势[2]。该技术极大推进了汽车的集成化、轻量化、网联化和智能化,是车辆智能化、无人驾驶系统等新型热门领域发展的关键技术,获得了行业的广泛关注。目前海外厂商在线控转向技术上具有先发优势,国内企业对于该技术也有大规模研发投入,总体上,该技术距离产业化还有一定的距离。
本文采用专利分析方法,分析纯电动汽车线控转向技术的专利布局情况和重点研发方向,尤其梳理了线控转向在路感反馈控制、故障诊断控制、转向控制装置及转向冗余等关键技术点的技术内容及技术发展路线,旨在通过分析纯电动汽车线控转向技术专利,为国内研发单位、企业在线控转向技术的研发及战略规划方面提供有益的参考。
本文使用的专利检索数据库为中国汽车技术研究中心自主研发的全球汽车专利数据库。通过对该数据库中全球汽车领域重要企业的专利按照技术领域、技术效果、技术手段3个维度进行人工标引。在数据库的技术领域模块选取纯电动汽车节点,并用线控、转向、策略、电子助力转向系统(Electrical Power Steering,EPS)、SBW、路感反馈等关键词进行检索,截至2022年8月30日,得到纯电动汽车线控转向技术领域的相关专利。由于专利公开时间的滞后,2021—2022年的数据仅供参考。
国内线控转向技术专利公开趋势如图1所示,我国纯电动汽车线控转向技术发展势头强劲,2012年之前发展缓慢,公开量不足50件,受新能源汽车技术创新和产业发展规划影响,2012年专利公开量呈现爆发式增长,并从2016年开始专利公开量呈稳步快速增长趋势,进入快速发展期,专利公开量总体不大。
结合专利增长势头与公开量级可以推测,纯电动汽车线控转向技术具有充分的探索布局空间。随着电子技术和网络技术的发展,未来线控转向系统被要求承担更多的功能,以进一步增强车辆操纵稳定性和驾驶舒适性。
纯电动汽车线控转向技术领域技术来源国中,中国申请人以60%占比位居第一,紧随其后的是日本,其申请人占比为24%,其他国家的专利仅占所有专利的1/4,可见在该领域的专利以中国和日本的申请为主,本土专利保护的力度较强(图2)。
纯电动汽车线控转向技术领域共公开专利1 695件,其中发明专利1 250件,实用新型445件。发明专利占比74%,相对较多,一方面是由于部分专利涉及转向策略/软件,只能申请发明专利,另一方面也是由于各个车企、高校在转向技术领域的研发投入大,对于转向技术的专利稳定性需求高。已公开数据的法律状态中,有429件发明和247件实用新型处于授权有效状态,驳回专利仅占4%,可见纯电动汽车线控转向技术领域专利申请质量之高,线控转向技术是纯电动汽车未来发展的研究热点和创新突破点(表1)。
纯电动汽车线控转向技术相关专利中,日本企业优势明显,国内高校、企业正加快专利布局。如图3所示,排名前十位申请人中,日本企业占据四席,德国企业占据两席,株式会社捷太格特以264件专利名列第一,紧随其后的蒂森克虏伯以181件专利位列第二,第三位日立与前2名专利公开量差距较大。就前十位申请人来看,零部件供应商有7家,整车企业有1家,高校有2家,零部件供应商在此领域有相对较大的研发投入。在前十位申请人中仅有2家国内高校,说明我国纯电动汽车线控转向技术储备虽与日美等发达国家还有一定差距,但高校及企业正在积极开展针对此领域的研究,特别是模型搭建、算法设计等方面发展较快。
纯电动汽车线控转向领域的专利内容分布在转向策略及转向系统集成上,转向策略领域专利占比55%,转向系统集成领域专利占比45%(图4)。
在转向系统集成方面,专利公开量在2018年之前稳步增加,2018年之后略有下降趋势。转向策略专利公开量近年来稳步上升,这与新能源汽车大量的相关政策扶持有关,该领域专利公开量2020年开始略有下降,但始终保持在一个较高的水平。
转向策略主要包括路感反馈控制方法、转向执行控制方法以及故障诊断与容错控制方法;而转向系统集成则主要包括转向控制装置、转向装置、集成系统及转向冗余系统。转向策略和转向系统集成专利具体分布情况如表2所示。转向策略领域中,转向执行控制方法相关专利占比较大,而在线控转向系统集成领域中,集成系统相关专利数量最多,转向控制装置和转向装置相关专利数量基本一致,转向冗余系统相关专利占比相对较少。企业在开展线控转向研究时,首先进行结构方面的研究,进而开展策略方面的研究,因此专利布局也适应性的在转向体系集成方面的布局比转向策略方面多。而路感反馈控制方法、故障诊断与容错控制方法属于技术空白点,相关研究较少,车企对于这两方面的研究属于起步阶段,因此它们是线控转向领域未来的研究重点。转向系统集成方面,虽然转向冗余系统相关专利较少,但是由于线控转向的安全性十分重要,而高级别智能驾驶要求线控转向具备电子冗余,因此预测未来转向冗余系统相关专利申请量会有进一步增长。
在转向策略中,路感反馈控制以及故障诊断控制方面专利布局较少,这两项技术面临了更多的挑战,有较大的研究空间。在转向系统集成方面,车企更为关注转向控制、转向冗余结构设计,因此本文将重点研究路感反馈控制、故障诊断控制、转向控制装置及转向冗余4个方面的相关专利,分析专利文献,梳理上述各技术的发展路线。
在线控转向技术中,路感信息不能直接被反馈到驾驶员,因此需要基于路感反馈控制方法,通过路感模拟电机产生作用于转向盘的转向阻力矩为驾驶员提供路感反馈。转向阻力矩主要包含:回正力矩和摩擦力矩,回正力矩与车辆前轮的受力状态存在直接关系,而前轮受力状态又和车辆实时的运动状态及路面附着系数直接相关。因此,路感反馈主要构成因素包括:路面与车轮间的相互作用力与转向系统自身动力学特性,前者是驾驶员感知路面信息的主要来源,后者则对驾驶员操纵感有较大影响。多变的路面状况与轮胎产生交互作用,轮胎产生回正力矩经转向拉杆,最终以外部齿条力的形式加载到线控转向执行系统上。
博世华域转向系统有限公司在专利CN115042858A[3]中提出了一种基于动态齿条力的转向系统驾驶员路感反馈调整方法。通过控制器局域网络(Controller Area Network, CAN)总线的方式传输到路感模拟模块;通过参数的标定,确定不同车速下的目标手力;通过比例-积分-微分(Proportional、Integral、Derivative, PID)控制,与实际的转向盘手力作闭环控制,结合回正功能和阻尼功能,提供给驾驶员真实的路感反馈,解决了对于不同类型的路面以及颠簸路面,无法做到精确的路感反馈或采用传感器进行路面负载力矩计算且对于传感器精度要求较高的问题。
株式会社万都在专利CN113928408A[4]中提出了SBW转向系统及其转向盘反作用扭矩信号生成方法,装置在向线控转向系统的转向盘提供反作用扭矩时,可以根据车轮的转速确定目标频率,生成从齿条力信号中排除了包含目标频率的截止频带的经滤波的齿条力信号,基于经滤波的齿条力信号生成目标反作用扭矩信号,并基于目标反作用扭矩信号生成反作用扭矩,通过为转向盘提供反作用扭矩,来改善SBW转向系统的转向感,这里的反作用扭矩在生成过程中被去除了诸如摆振和颤振之类的不必要振动分量。
同济大学在专利CN113335374A[5]中提出了一种适用于线控转向系统的路感反馈方法,线控转向系统转角执行机构采集车辆前轮转角和电机电流信息,发送至转向系统控制器,控制器根据接收到的前轮信息,通过扩张状态观测器估计前轮所受回正力矩,并对回正力矩进行滤波和力矩换算处理后,与车身电子稳定系统(Executive Scheduling Program,ESP)助力共同构成路感反馈主力矩。当车辆前轮与转向盘转角之差位于额定范围内时,系统生成正常的路感反馈力;当车辆前轮与转向盘转角之差超过额定范围,如前轮卡死时,控制器则额外生成一个等效刚度力矩,使驾驶员感知到前轮转向受阻,及时调整驾驶操作;当驾驶员将转向盘转动到极限位置时,对驾驶员进行限位提示,通过路感电机施加限位力矩阻止驾驶员的过转向行为,该方法解决了虚拟路感的提供不能准确将车辆前轮实时受力反馈至驾驶员且拉压力传感器布置不便的问题。
多种力可能导致车辆加速/减速或转弯,这些力可能来自轮胎-道路结合面,纵向和/或横向轮胎滑动在轮胎与道路之间产生轮胎力,通常道路摩擦因数是影响最大轮胎力的主要因素。
操纵技术IP控股公司CN114572301A[6]中提出了一种用于生成扭矩辅助的方法,基于交通工具速度、转向角度和道路摩擦因数值来确定模型偏航率值,以及使用模型偏航率值与交通工具偏航率值之间的差值来确定差分偏航率值,至少使用差分偏航率值来确定更新的道路摩擦因数值,基于更新的道路摩擦因数值和模型齿条力值来生成扭矩辅助值,该方法解决了摩擦因数会对路感产生影响的问题。
从上述技术路线来看,路感反馈控制一般包括对齿条力的改进、对摩擦因数的改进和对目标扭矩的直接改进,对上述参数的调整,一般基于车辆状态:电机电流、扭矩请求状态、转向盘转角、转向盘转速、转向盘扭矩、车速、轮速、横摆角速度、侧向加速度、车辆纵向速度、车辆垂向载荷等。摩擦因数、摩擦力矩的计算相关专利申请较少,可以考虑在该领域进行研究布局。虽然在基于动态模型获取反馈力矩的专利所占比例相对较多,但由于路感反馈控制概念较新,因此,对于反馈力矩的建模依然是当前研究的热点,建议加大对于基于神经网络建立目标扭矩的研究投入,也可以考虑在建立动力模型的同时结合参数曲线拟合以进行路感模拟。
容错控制可以使系统在发生故障的情况下,能够自动补偿故障产生的影响以维护系统的稳定性,能够尽可能地恢复系统故障前的性能,使系统运行稳定可靠。故障诊断技术是容错控制的重要支撑技术之一,是对系统故障的特征进行描述,并利用故障特征去检测和隔离系统的故障。为了取得好的容错效果,纯电动汽车迫切需要高效的故障诊断机构在线提供比较准确的故障信息来完成系统的容错控制。
南京航空航天大学在专利CN111497867A[7]中提出了一种考虑驾驶员转向特性的线控转向系统容错策略。该策略基于线控转向系统,针对3种不同驾驶员提出了个性化的容错控制策略。线控转向系统由1个故障检测和诊断控制器和1个性化容错控制器组成。故障检测和诊断控制器由干扰观测器和遗忘因子递推最小二乘算法组成,实时检测并估算执行器的状态和参数,并将与电机有关的状态或部分损坏的程度反馈给电子控制器单元(Electronic Control Unit, ECU)。ECU发出容错命令后,将打开个性化容错控制器,以处理故障电机对不同驾驶员的影响。个性化容错控制策略可以在转向电机发生故障时,辅助驾驶员较好的跟踪参考路径,大大降低电机故障给驾驶员带来的生理和心理负担。
江苏大学在专利CN112519873A[8]中提出了一种四轮独立线控转向电动汽车执行机构主动容错控制算法,包括:建立四轮独立转向汽车的车辆二自由度动力学模型、车辆参考模型、执行机构故障模型和设计间接自适应主动容错控制器;以车辆参考模型为跟踪目标进行自适应主动容错控制器的设计,根据执行机构故障模型推导出带有故障形式的主动容错控制器表达式,再根据李亚普诺夫函数(Lyapunov)推导出最终的主动容错控制器,实现对车辆参考模型的零质心侧偏角和修正横摆角速度的跟踪。该算法能够通过主动调节控制器的参数,在不增加硬件冗余的前提下,实现四轮独立线控转向电动汽车转向执行机构在部分失效、中断及卡死故障情况下的容错控制,保证执行器故障模式下汽车对理想参考模型的零质心侧偏角和修正横摆角速度进行跟踪,提高转向过程中的操纵稳定性。
从故障诊断与容错控制领域技术发展路径来看,容错控制策略方面多为主动容错控制。基于模型的故障诊断技术专利,尤其是通过卡尔曼滤波方法对故障进行判断的相关专利布局较多。建议在基于信号处理的故障诊断方面进行布局,如利用系统时域和频域中较深层次的多种特征向量与系统故障源之间的联系,对系统信号进行分析和处理,从而判断故障源位置。
转向控制装置在执行相应控制方法时,上层部分根据当前车辆的状态和驾驶员的输入,在尽量满足控制目标和约束条件的情况下,计算出期望的前轮转角;而下层部分则是由转向控制器控制转向电机执行该指令,快速、准确地达到该目标转角。线控转向系统十分灵活,衍生出很多控制算法。
株式会社捷太格特在专利CN103303362A[9]中提出了一种车辆用转向控制的装置,将由转向转矩传感器检测出的转向转矩T的绝对值与规定的阈值Tsh进行比较判断,当上述检测出的转向转矩值的绝对值小于上述阈值Tsh时,则基于转向转矩值对转向反力进行控制,当上述检测出的转向转矩值的绝对值在上述阈值Tsh以上时,则以检测出的反力电机电流值为基准值I_keep对转向反力进行控制,解决了转向转矩传感器的检测范围扩大时转向转矩较小的范围内传感器的检测分辨率降低的问题。
吉林大学在专利CN107150718A[10]中提出了一种多模式汽车线控转向系统,该线控转向系统具有电机助力模式与电机全动力模式2种工作模式。2种模式优点分别为:在电机助力模式下,驾驶员可以在转向时节省电能,经济性较好,并通过转向盘获得实时的真实路面反馈信息;在电机全动力模式下,驾驶员在转向时可以节省体力,并通过转向盘获得路感模拟。该系统解决了现有线控转向技术中的转向动力源单一、转向系统断电失效时安全性差、转向路感模拟不够逼真与转向精度不高的问题。
ZF汽车德国有限公司在专利CN112977601A[11]中提出了一种用于车辆的线控转向系统,该转向系统具有车桥致动器,车桥致动器包括车桥电动马达和车桥控制单元,并且连接至车辆的车桥。线控转向转向系统包括等效电路,等效电路被设计成测量由转向盘电动马达感应的电流,并且根据感应电流来给车桥控制单元提供至少一个测量值,以用于控制车桥电动马达。该系统解决了转向系统的可靠性低,控制电子器件完全或部分失效的情况下,不能继续确保驾驶员的转向运动可以被检测并实施的问题。
转向控制装置方面,对于多模式转向系统的控制方法的布局较多。博世、万都、捷太格特、采埃孚等零部件供应商在转向控制方面具备一定实力。
通过增加系统检测设备的方法称之为硬件冗余,线控转向系统的硬件冗余架构可以涉及传感器冗余、底盘域控制器冗余、转向执行冗余、供电冗余和通讯冗余等多个方面,通过冗余系统的设置能够进一步提升线控转向系统的可靠性。
福特全球技术公司在专利CN114348106A[12]中提出了一种具有多个控制器的转向系统,该系统包括:(1)转向系统电动机;(2)第一ECU和第二ECU:第一ECU和第二ECU各自与转向系统电动机连接;(3)通信线路:通信线路分别与第一ECU和第二ECU直接通信;(4)网关模块:网关模块将第一ECU连接到CAN总线并保证二者可以通信,同时网关模块将第二ECU连接到CAN总线并保证二者可以通信。第一ECU被编程为在检测到故障时,经由通信线路并经由网关模块将故障代码传输到第二ECU。第二ECU被编程为在检测到故障时,经由通信线路并经由网关模块将故障代码传输到第一ECU,以此解决线控转向系统单一控制器出故障无法及时补救的问题,保证行车的安全和稳定。
南京航空航天大学在专利CN114524019A[13]中提出了一种商用车双绕组双电机线控转向系统,该系统包括:转向盘模块、双绕组双电机助力模块、循环球液压助力模块、机械传动模块及转向控制单元;电机、绕组双重硬件冗余功能避免了任何一个单转向电机或者单个绕组故障而造成转向指令执行的失效,进一步提高了线控转向系统的可靠性,增强了车辆安全性;此外,融合了双绕组电机的优点,相比单绕组电机能够输出更大的转矩,保证了现有商用车线控转向系统所需的转矩要求,解决了能耗较大且响应速度慢的问题。
转向冗余系统方面的相关专利申请主要集中在近几年,以提升转向可靠性方面的专利为主。汽车自动驾驶从技术本身来看,除了搭载足够丰富的自动驾驶技术,还必须保证系统始终处于运行状态,确保自动驾驶系统的安全性和持续性。因此,冗余成为了必不可少的一环,也是未来线控转向领域的重点。
本文从专利申请态势、专利技术构成、关键技术点等方面剖析了纯电动汽车线控转向技术的专利布局和技术发展路线。线控转向是纯电动汽车领域的核心技术,该技术发展起步较晚,国外供应商对于线控转向的研究处于领先地位,采埃孚、博世对于线控转向的研究在未来几年会从概念模型转向量产,而国内对于线控转向的研究,以高校为主,且取得了一定进展,车企在该领域的研究不多,我国纯电动汽车线控转向相关专利还没做好落地准备。线控转向尚存在技术难点需要突破,专利申请量会持续走高。未来在路感反馈控制方面的研究,可以考虑在建立动力模型的同时结合参数曲线拟合以进行路感模拟。摩擦因数、摩擦力矩的计算相关专利申请较少,可以考虑在该领域进行研究布局。在故障诊断和容错控制方面的研究,建议进一步提升软件容错算法的可靠性,结合硬件冗余,改善转向系统的性能,预计随着线控转向策略研究的不断深入。未来10年,线控转向技术成熟度会进一步提高,其在纯电动汽车领域的应用会更加广泛。
