The European New Car Assessment Programme published 118 test results of vehicle models for a total in the past three years from 2020 to 2022. In order to accurately benchmark the safety performance of export vehicle models with the overall safety technology level of European market models, the overall ratings of all vehicle models, the distribution and regularity of results for different power types and vehicle types are summarized. A detailed analysis is conducted on the scores and characteristics of different fields, such as adult occupant protection, child occupant protection, rescue, and passive safety configuration for five-star vehicles. The main analysis results indicate that the overall safety level of vehicles in the European market is relatively high, with 75% of the tested models achieving five-star performance. The proportion of new energy vehicles and fuel vehicles achieving five-star performance is basically the same. The type of vehicle, the size of vehicle space, and the optional safety features have a certain influence to the score, and the central airbag contributing the most to the scoring rate.

2020—2022年,欧洲新车评价规程共发布118款车型测试结果,为了出口车型安全性能准确对标欧洲市场车型安全技术水平,统计分析了全部车型整体星级表现,以及不同动力类型、不同车型种类车型结果分布和规律特性,并详细分析了不同领域,如成人保护、儿童保护、救援、五星车型被动安全配置的得分与特点。分析结果表明,欧洲市场车辆整体安全水平较高,75%测试车型可以达到五星,其中新能源车与燃油车五星车型占比基本一致。车辆类型、车型空间尺寸、可选安全配置一定程度影响得分,远端气囊对得分率贡献最大。

The European New Car Assessment Programme published 118 test results of vehicle models for a total in the past three years from 2020 to 2022. In order to accurately benchmark the safety performance of export vehicle models with the overall safety technology level of European market models, the overall ratings of all vehicle models, the distribution and regularity of results for different power types and vehicle types are summarized. A detailed analysis is conducted on the scores and characteristics of different fields, such as adult occupant protection, child occupant protection, rescue, and passive safety configuration for five-star vehicles. The main analysis results indicate that the overall safety level of vehicles in the European market is relatively high, with 75% of the tested models achieving five-star performance. The proportion of new energy vehicles and fuel vehicles achieving five-star performance is basically the same. The type of vehicle, the size of vehicle space, and the optional safety features have a certain influence to the score, and the central airbag contributing the most to the scoring rate.

近些年我国汽车出口数量日益增多,已成为全球第二大汽车出口国。2020年汽车出口数量快速增长,达到99.5万辆;2021年出口汽车199.3万辆,同比增长100.43%[1];2022年汽车出口高达311.1万辆,同比增长了54.4%[2]。欧洲新能源政策促使越来越多国内车企更加重视欧洲市场,欧洲成为中国新能源汽车品牌的主战场。欧洲新车评价规程(European New Car Assessment Programme,Euro NCAP)是全球权威安全认证机构,其安全测试结果为消费者提供参考。对于出口欧洲的汽车,良好的安全认证评级结果可以提高市场竞争力。欧洲NCAP测试车型的安全评价结果反映出欧洲市场车辆安全性能整体水平,本文对欧洲NCAP近3年测试结果进行分类统计并分析,其分析结果可为中国自主品牌出口车型安全开发提供一定研究基础,使其做好应对未来的安全技术储备,对国内自主汽车品牌提升国际市场竞争力具有重要意义。
欧洲汽车安全评价Euro NCAP始于1997年,是全球最成熟的NCAP体系之一。二十多年来其测试安全评级体系不断完善更新,星级评价也将随之调整。因其总体星级评价规程、单项得分及权重基本一致,具有可对比分析性,本文根据成人保护、儿童保护、行人保护和安全辅助技术4个测评项目,对2020—2022年Euro NCAP的评价结果进行统计分析,结果如表1所示。
2020—2022年,Euro NCAP 测评项目星级最低得分率如表2所示,其中行人保护星级得分率提升了10%[7],其他项得分未有变化[2]
五星车型除了要满足表2中最低得分率,还要满足正面碰撞、MPDB碰撞、侧面碰撞、侧面柱碰4大工况的乘员关键部位不能超出极限伤害,即不能为0分,否则总体星级评价规程只能为四星。乘员关键部位主要是指乘员的头部、颈部和胸部。
2020—2022年,Euro NCAP共测试118款车型,其中2020年13款、2021年38款、2022年67款[9]。2020年,由于全球新型冠状病毒疫情原因测试车型数量较少,而后2年测试车型数量逐年回升。由于Euro NCAP在2023年升级改版难度增加,因此较多车型集中在改版前完成了测试。图1为不同星级车型比,其中五星车型总测试车辆数量的75.4%,即约四分之三的被试车型获得五星,该比例相对较高。四星车型占比19.5%,三星及以下车型占比6%。
Euro NCAP测评项目全部车型平均得分率、五星车型平均得分率及五星车型限值对比如图2所示。其中,全部车型平均得分率由高到低依次为:成人保护得分率为85.88%,儿童保护得分率为84.7%,安全辅助得分率为78.6%,行人保护得分率为70.4%。因五星车型比重较高,全部测试车型平均得分率均高于五星车型最低得分率要求,平均得分率有所提升。五星车型平均得分率由高到低依次为:成人保护得分率为89.22%,儿童保护得分率为86.74%,安全辅助得分率为84.08%,行人保护得分率为72.87%。相对于全部车型平均得分率分别提升3.34%、2.04%、5.48%、2.47%,其中安全辅助得分率提升最多,儿童保护得分率提升最少。
2020—2022年,Euro NCAP测试的118款车型中包括燃油车78款和新能源车40款,参与测试车型中燃油车占多数。其中,59款燃油车获得五星,占燃油车总数比重为75.6%,30款新能源车型获得五星,占新能源车总数比重为75%,2种动力类型车辆五星车型占比相当。图3为新能源车与燃油车平均得分率对比,新能源车型在成人保护、儿童保护、安全辅助这3项平均得分率比于燃油车平均得分率分别高2.73%、1.11%、3.43%,而新能源车平均行人保护得分比燃油车平均得分率低0.67%。
根据车型种类统计分析,SUV车型数量占比最高,达到49款,其次为轿车共44款;按照车型尺寸分类,小型SUV数量最多,达到33款,其次为小型家用车共27款。小型SUV、小型家用车及微型车总体占比为66.1%,欧洲市场小型车占比较大。其中大型SUV、大型MPV车型、皮卡车、商用及家用厢式车全部获得五星,微型车仅1款车获得五星,由此可见大尺寸空间车型获得五星比例更高(图4)。
不同级别SUV平均得分率如图5所示。成人保护测评项目中,小型SUV平均得分率略高于大型SUV;其余3项测评项目中,大型SUV平均得分率略高于小型SUV;大型SUV与小型SUV各测评项目的平均得分率总体相近。
图6所示,不同级别轿车平均得分率由高到低依次为:商务车(大型轿车)、大型家用车和小型家用车。随着轿车车内空间增加,其平均得分率有明显提升趋势。
不同级别MPV平均得分率如图7所示,在儿童保护测评项目中,小型MPV平均得分率略高于大型SUV,在其余3项测评项目中,大型MPV平均得分率高于小型MPV。
对不同车辆类型平均得分率进行对比,结果如图8所示。成人保护测评项目中,SUV车型平均得分率最高;儿童保护测评项目中,MPV车型平均得分率最高,除微型车平均得分率较低,其余3种车型平均得分率相近;行人保护测评项目中,轿车平均得分率最高;安全辅助测评项目中,SUV车型平均得分率最高,其次是MPV车型和轿车。其中,微型车在4项测评中综合平均得分率最低。
成人保护单项平均得分率从高到低依次是侧面碰撞、追尾鞭打、正面碰撞和救援(见表3),相对于正面碰撞工况,侧面碰撞工况更容易得分。
进一步统计分析正面碰撞工况主要失分工况MPDB,该工况下仅10%的车型取得满分评价,主驾人体乘员约束测试装置(Test Device for Human Occupant Restraint, THOR)假人胸压、小腿均有不同程度失分,包含壁障兼容性罚分,因此正面碰撞总体得分率相对较低。相关研究统计表明,在相同条件下,THOR假人的胸部压缩量明显大于混三假人的胸部压缩量[10],THOR假人右上胸压更易失分[11]
图9为五星车型成人保护得分率对比,救援性能单项平均得分率提升最大,包含车辆紧急呼叫(emergency-Call, e-Call)与多重碰撞自动制动(Multi Collision Brake, MCB);五星平均得分率从78.5%提升至87.5%,得益于救援配置率与性能提升;其次是侧碰工况单项平均得分率提升较多,由90.5%提升至94.56%,得益于配置增加,如远端中央气囊。
救援单项满分为2分,现有测评结果统计平均得分1.57分,63.5%的车型可以得到满分。五星车型救援工况下平均得分1.75分,76%的车型可以得到满分。2023年以后,成人保护测评内容的主要变化是救援单项满分从2分提升至4分。
儿童保护各部分权重与星级平均得分率如表4所示,儿童保护得分率对比如图10所示。可以看出,全部车型儿童保护单项得分率由高到低依次为:儿童座椅安装、正面碰撞、侧面碰撞和车辆匹配性能。儿童保护测评各项五星平均得分率与平均得分率相比均有提升且侧面碰撞动态平均得分率提升明显。
侧面碰撞工况包含Q6儿童(Q系列6岁儿童假人)和Q10儿童(Q系列10岁儿童假人),Q6全部为满分,主要失分项是Q10岁儿童乘员,21.20%车型失分部位为头部,6.70%车型胸部失分。头部气帘保护效果影响头部伤害结果,头部发生触底现象,如图11所示。
行人保护各部分权重与星级平均得分率如表5所示。行人保护单项平均得分率与五星车型得分率对比如图12所示。由表5可知,行人碰撞部分(头、柔性腿、大腿冲击器)各项得分率,从高到低依次是大腿冲击器、头部和柔性腿,其中五星车型柔性腿平均得分率略偏低。行人碰撞部分(头、柔性腿、大腿冲击器)五星车型平均得分与全部车型平均得分相近。自行车AEB平均得分率高于行人AEB平均得分率。行人AEB保护(行人AEB、自行车AEB)五星得分明显提升,得益于主动安全配置提升。
统计分析89款五星车型的乘员安全带配置,前后排均是预紧限力式安全带。
89款车型都装配主驾驶气囊(Driver AIRBAG, DAB)、副驾气囊(Passenger AIRBAG, PAB)。29款车型主驾驶配备膝部气囊(Knee AIRBAG, KAB),KAB配备率为32.5%,共5款车型副驾驶配备KAB,KAB配置率仅为5.6%,如图13所示。经统计分析主驾配备KAB的29款车型工况平均得分为13.52分,而全部五星车型工况平均得分为13.56分,结果显示KAB对于五星平均得分提升贡献效果有限。
前排侧气囊(Side AIRBAG, SAB)标配和侧气帘(Curtain AIRBAG, CAB)配备率为100%。11款车型配备后排侧面安全气囊,配备率为12.4%。后排未配备SAB车型儿童假人得分为7.88分,配备SAB车型的儿童假人得分为7.89分,统计结果显示后排是否配备SAB对车型五星平均得分影响不明显。
图13所示,远端中央气囊(Central AIRBAG, CeMAB)在主驾驶76款车型中的配置率为85.3%,在副驾驶71款车型中的配置率为79.7%;配置中央气囊车型侧面碰撞得分为15.37分,乘员保护平均得分率为90%,未配置中央气囊车型侧面碰撞得分13.68分,乘员保护得分率为84.4%。统计结果显示,CeMAB使五星侧面碰撞平均得分、乘员保护得分率明显提升。也有相关研究分析了Euro NCAP对于推动安全产品配置率提升有积极影响,远端测试工况实施提升了远端气囊配置率[12]
共计64款车型二排外侧配备用于安装儿童约束系统的国际标准固定系统(International Standards Organization FIX,ISOFIX)/一体化通用ISOFIX增强型儿童约束系统(Integral Universal ISOFIX Enhanced Child Restraint Systems,i-size)接口(即2个接口)占比为72%,车辆匹配性能得分为8.32分,座椅安装得分为11.79分;有25款副驾座位也配置了接口,即3个接口,车辆匹配性能得分为8.12分,座椅安装得分为11.93分,占比为28%(表6)。其中2个接口座椅安装得分相对低,车辆匹配性能得分略高;车辆匹配性能中同时满足3个ISOFIX/i-size接口和3个反向大尺寸儿童座椅可以多增加1分,但是统计显示儿童静态总体平均得分并没有提升,由于车辆整体空间条件限制,很难前后排同时安装3个反向大尺寸儿童座椅,但是对于消费者而言可多一个安装ISOFIX/i-size类型儿童座椅位置的选择。
集成式儿童座椅仅1款,副驾PAB气囊开关100%配备。
安全带提醒前排主驾、副驾、后排100%配备。83%的车型配置e-Call紧急呼叫功能,74.5%的车型配置MCB多重碰撞自动制动功能。
经统计分析Euro NCAP官网近3年安全测试结果得出以下结论。
(1)全部测试车型118款,五星车型89款,占总被测车辆比重为75%。
(2)测试车型燃油车78款,新能源车40款,参与测试车型燃油车占多数。五星燃油车占燃油车总数比重为75.6%,五星新能源车占新能源车总数比重为75%,动力类型获得五星比例无明显差异。
(3)车型种类最多的是SUV车型,总数为49款。其次为轿车车型,共44款,两者占总测试车型78.8%。在车型尺寸方面小型车及微型车78款,占比较大,占总测试车型66.1%。
(4)车型空间尺寸与得分率,轿车有比较明显规律,随着轿车空间增加,成人保护、儿童保护、行人保护、安全辅助4项的平均得分率均有所提升。其中,SUV车型成人保护、MPV车型儿童保护,这2项平均得分率与车型空间成反比,微型车平均得分率最低。
(5)单项得分方面,成人保护中侧面碰撞平均得分率最高,儿童保护中座椅安装平均得分率最高,行人保护中大腿冲击器平均得分最高。
(6)五星车型气囊配置率,在膝部气囊KAB配置方面,主驾侧配置率为32.5%,副驾侧配置率为5.6%,后排SAB配置率为12.4%,远端中央气囊CeMAB配置率方面,主驾侧配置率为85.3%,副驾侧配置率为79.7%。其中膝部气囊KAB、后排SAB对五星平均得分率提升贡献较小。远端中央气囊CeMAB对侧面碰撞工况平均得分提升较为明显,平均提升1.69分。
(7)五星车型的儿童保护配置2个与3个位置ISOFIX接口和i-size接口得分差异不大,副驾均配备PAB气囊开关。
(8)五星车型救援功能有76%车型得到满分2分,平均得分1.75分,其中83%的车型配置紧急呼叫功能e-Call,74.5%的车型配置MCB多重碰撞自动制动功能。
Euro NCAP车型测试结果一定程度上反映了欧洲市场车整体表现,统计分期测试结果的分布规律可以为中国车企出口新能源车型产品规划、目标定义提供技术参考,提升一定国际竞争力。随着评价规程不断完善和难度升级,未来将重点关注新的趋势变化和新的测评结果,进一步深度分析高分五星车型结果,助力我国实现高水平安全性能开发。
