As the natural disasters caused by global warming become more and more intense, carbon neutrality as an important means to reduce carbon dioxide emissions is gradually being emphasized. As a key to energy saving and environmental protection, new energy vehicles play an important role in reducing carbon emissions. Aiming at the issue of how to reduce the carbon emissions of new energy vehicles in the carbon neutrality background, this paper is from the perspective of the life cycle assessment of new energy vehicles, mainly focuses on the battery energy density including energy management strategies and regenerative braking energy recovery of electric vehicles. Moreover, hydrogen acquisition, electric catalyst and energy management strategies of fuel cell vehicles, electromechanical coupling technology, energy management strategy and braking energy recovery of hybrid electric vehicles and other aspects are analyzed as well through each respective specific emission reduction measures.

随着全球变暖导致的自然灾害愈演愈烈,碳中和作为减少二氧化碳排放的重要手段逐渐被人们重视。新能源汽车作为节能环保的重点,在减少碳排放中发挥重要作用。针对碳中和背景下如何降低新能源汽车碳排放问题,从新能源汽车全生命周期的视角,对纯电动汽车的动力电池能量密度、能量管理策略和再生制动能量回收,燃料电池汽车的氢气获取、电催化剂和能量管理策略,混合动力电池汽车的机电耦合技术、能量管理策略和制动能量回收方向,对具体减碳技术进行了综述。

As the natural disasters caused by global warming become more and more intense, carbon neutrality as an important means to reduce carbon dioxide emissions is gradually being emphasized. As a key to energy saving and environmental protection, new energy vehicles play an important role in reducing carbon emissions. Aiming at the issue of how to reduce the carbon emissions of new energy vehicles in the carbon neutrality background, this paper is from the perspective of the life cycle assessment of new energy vehicles, mainly focuses on the battery energy density including energy management strategies and regenerative braking energy recovery of electric vehicles. Moreover, hydrogen acquisition, electric catalyst and energy management strategies of fuel cell vehicles, electromechanical coupling technology, energy management strategy and braking energy recovery of hybrid electric vehicles and other aspects are analyzed as well through each respective specific emission reduction measures.

碳中和(Carbon Neutrality)目前在学术界主要表现为“气候层面”与“碳排放”2种观点。第1种观点,聚焦于气候层面,即全球温室气体净排放量使全球的升温限制在1.5 ℃内,进入大气中的温室气体排放和吸收达到稳定状态[1];第2种观点,聚焦碳排放,是指国家、企业或个人某个具体时间内因生产制造而产生的温室气体,用植树等方式吸收,达到相对“零排放”[2]
据《世界能源统计回顾2021》,2020年我国交通运输占全国CO2排放的比例是10.4%,其中以燃油车为代表的公路运输在交通运输中所占比例达80%以上。为实现2050年道路交通的碳中和目标,各种新能源汽车和节能减排关键技术应运而生。
新能源汽车是指采用非常规燃料作为动力源的汽车,主要包括目前主要为纯电动汽车、燃料电池汽车、混合动力电动汽车。本文将对不同车型整个生命周期的减碳措施进行分析。
纯电动汽车(Electric Vehicle, EV)从动力电池中获取能量,通过电力驱动系统将能量分配给车轮,从而驱动汽车行驶。虽然整个行驶过程并没有直接的温室气体排放,但从EV全生命周期看,CO2排放主要集中在上游发电环节,随着EV行驶时间越长,碳排放量相对于传统燃油车愈发降低。为使EV更加节能减排,目前主要从3方面进行研究:动力电池能量密度、能量管理策略和再生制动能量回收。
当前纯电动汽车使用电池类型主要为镍钴锰三元锂电池、锰酸锂电池和磷酸铁锂电池。磷酸铁锂电池能量密度一般为120~140 W·h/kg,三元锂电池能量密度一般为160~180 W·h/kg。电池能量密度越高,携带相同能量的电池质量会降低,由电池产生的碳排放也会降低。当能量密度从120 W·h/kg提升到160 W·h/kg,磷酸铁锂电池和三元锂电池分别能降低碳排放5.5%和8%[3]。随着对安全性和成本的思考,比亚迪推出了改进版磷酸铁锂电池,用扁平化的电芯形状,不仅提高了空间利用率,还较大程度提升了能量密度。国轩高科通过对正极材料和PACK工艺进行优化,宣称可实现磷酸铁锂电池单体能量密度突破200 W·h/kg。与此同时,宁德时代推出的新一代钠离子电池,能量密度达到160 W·h/kg,有很大发展空间。不仅如此,提高电池的回收率,可有效降低电池生产带来的碳排放。Dunn等[4]通过对不同材料电池的生命周期进行分析,发现电池有关的温室气体释放主要集中在电池生产和电池两极的制造中,通过对废旧电池的回收,可以降低电池生产过程中50%的能源消耗。
在综合考虑汽车的动力性、安全性和舒适性等的前提下,为减少充电次数,同时又增加车辆的续驶里程,所以要对汽车工作能量进行分配,使整车对能源的利用效率达到最高。周美兰[5]对复合储能系统分别制定了逻辑门限和模糊控制策略,结果与只有单一电池的纯电动汽车相比总体节能6.17%和34.57%。Zhang等[6]将电池与电容器构成复合储能系统,加上实时预测能量管理策略,不仅降低了电池电压和电池温度,总体节能多达43.03%。在公路运输中,商用车的碳排放比例占全部车辆碳排放的65%。为了减少碳排放,商用车也逐渐被限制而转向纯电动汽车。丁钰航[7]对具有双电机的纯电动商用车提出一种基于瞬时优化的能量管理策略,先通过对比同一工况不同分配方案间的能量损失,确定最优的电机功率分配。仿真结果显示,与驱动电机单独工作相比经济性能提升6.1%。
为使EV更加节能减排,故需对制动时的动能进行收集,转化为电能对电池进行充电,提高车辆的能源利用率。王永鼎[8]充分考虑电机和SOC的状态,提出一种基于ECE法规、I曲线和f曲线的制动力分配策略,与系统自带的策略比较,回收能力有所提高。李争争[9]为平衡节能与安全性,通过模糊控制提出一种基于前后轴制动力动态变化的分配策略,相对于传统的ECE策略,能量回收能力更强,而且改善汽车的稳定性。Itani等[10]针对电动前驱车,提出一种基于滑模控制的滑移率控制策略,与基于ECE的策略相比,保证前轮最大制动效能的同时又有强力的能量回收能力。
纯电动汽车具有行驶阶段零排放、生命周期低排放的特征。加大对电机、电池和电控系统核心技术的研发,加快纯电动汽车推广普及,将有效推动汽车领域的低碳化,为实现碳中和的目标做出贡献。
燃料电池是一种将燃料(含氢)与氧化剂之间反应产生的化学能变为电能的电池,不仅能做到无排放、无噪声,相对其它能源而言,其作为电能的补充,可以满足几乎所有能源特性,又兼具强大减排能力[11]。从燃料电池汽车(Fuel Cell Vehicle, FCV)的全生命周期来看,降低碳排放的措施主要集中在3个方面:制氢过程、电催化剂和系统控制策略。
目前,在我国氢气的获取主要还是利用化石能源制氢,用煤炭、石油和天然气原料经过一系列化学反应分离杂质,最后提纯得到氢气,这种制氢路线成熟高效、成本较低,但不能摆脱对化石能源的依赖,且会有较多的碳排放 [12]。为了提升对环境的保护和降低碳排放,新的制氢方式如电解水制氢和可再生能源制氢将成为主要制氢方式[13]
氢燃料电池是氢能向电能转换的关键载体,电堆是燃料发生化学反应的场地,也是燃料电池最核心部分,其性能直接决定整个电池系统的性能上限。电催化剂是降低反应活化能、提高反应速率的关键物质。为保证氢能的充分利用,减少对氢能的浪费,提升催化剂的效率成为重中之重。目前常用的电催化剂是依旧是Pt/C,为了解决其Pt颗粒的溶解、团聚现象以及成本问题,研究人员又研制出Pt与过渡金属合金催化剂、Pt单原子层催化剂和Pt核壳催化剂,利用Pt颗粒在纳米级形状上的变化调整来减少用量、提高反应率[14]。为进一步减少Pt的使用,非贵金属催化剂如利用聚合反应合成了氮掺杂碳凝胶催化剂[15]、过渡金属原子簇合物也有飞速进展。
FCV主流技术仍为燃料电池和电池的混合模式,正常行驶下燃料电池为驱动车轮提供能量并在怠速时为电池充电,需要高功率时,2种能量源共同提供动力。为充分利用氢燃料、合理分配不同能量源的能量输送,提出各种能量反应策略。
林歆悠[16]提出一种基于强化学习的能量管理策略,使插电式燃料电池电动汽车(Plug-in Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle, PFCEV)氢气与电池电量消耗间的平衡,在相同工况下与基于规则的策略相比,整车能耗降低20.8%。Yuan等[17]为了解决实时预测这个难点,提出一种分层式的管理策略,上层用K近邻算法预测未来平均车速,下层用强化学习输出控制策略以实现全局优化,不仅能够实时预测,与基于规则的策略相比,氢气消耗可降低6.14%。Sun等[18]提出一种基于强化学习的能量管理策略,合理分配燃料电池、蓄电池和电容3种能量源的功率,与等效燃油消耗最小策略(Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy, ECMS)相比,在各种典型工况下均有更好的优化能力。
近些年来,氢能和燃料电池技术正逐渐被纳入我国国家能源发展规划。通过提高对氢能相关技术产业支持力度,对氢气的制取及氢燃料电池进行专项研究,加快氢能供给体系建设,努力实现更低碳环保、安全高效的能源目标。
混合动力汽车(Hybrid Electric Vehicle, HEV)指同时具备发动机和动力电池2个能量源的汽车,是向纯电动汽车发展的过渡形式。汽车行驶过程中在满足需求功率的前提下,通过各种能量管理策略调节不同动力源的输出功率,实现降低油耗、减少污染的目的,也是目前发展速度最快、市场渗透率最高的一类车型。有效提升HEV的节能水平,主要体现在机电耦合技术、能量管理策略和制动能量回收3个方面。
关于整车方面,为充分发挥电机与发动机各自的优点,各种动力系统、机电耦合技术层出不穷。机电耦合系统是指将发动机和电机2种系统的动力混合起来,在根据不同工况分配动力的部件。比亚迪秦推出一款四驱混联系统,综合油耗降低至1.6 L/100 km,上汽荣威550的双电机混动系统,油耗仅2.3 L/100 km[19]。商用车方面,直驱混连、基于AMT的串并联、双电机混合模式协同发展,最高节油率可达40% [20]
为了调节HEV不同能量源的能量供应,使得汽车在行驶过程中有高效的能量利用。郑春花[21]对并联式HEV采用一种基于强化学习(Reinforcement Learning, RL)的能量管理策略,策略中使用状态转移概率矩阵,简化计算此时刻和下一时刻工况的需求功率,采用经典的Q学习算法获得优化控制策略后,同基于规则的管理策略一起针对Janpan1015、NEDC、UDDS 3种工况进行验证,燃油经济性分别提高了7.67%、10.22%、14.4%。刘辉[22]通过自定义变化的电机和发动机功率分配因子,调整发动机最优工作曲线,得到任何荷电状态(State of Charge, SOC)开始,电池电量从消耗变成维持时分配因子的全局优化模型,然后用退火算法的优化,获得可实时分配的功率分配因子线,将其在应用到插电式混合动力汽车(Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle, PHEV)。以WLTC和NEDC工况为作比较,初始SOC为25%时,优化后整车燃油经济性分别提高了4.1%和10.6%。王钦普[23]针对PHEV频繁起停的问题,基于粒子群算法优化,提出一种等效燃油消耗最小策略(Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy,ECMS),测到不同初始SOC与等效因子的关系,最后再次引入启动车速限制优化后的ECMS。在随后进行的仿真验证中,与基于规则的能量管理策略相比,燃油经济性提高了8.5%。
针对HEV的能量回收,马什鹏[24]以满足安全为前提,以动能回收效率最大为目标,提出一种基于Q学习的控制策略,使制动能量回收效率有所提升。Xu等[25]针对双电机或发动机-电机协同控制2种制动模式,提出一种基于规则的模式切换方法,并用神经网络算法对其进行优化,使得2种模式制动能力提升的同时,又提高了能量回收率。Sun[26]以前后轴为固定比例的再生制动力控制策略为基础,结合PID算法,提出了PID模糊控制算法,增强控制精度的同时,又大大提高了能量回收效率。
除上述常见的降低汽车碳排放的几个方面外,王丛飞[27]对新能源汽车热管理技术和制冷剂2方面提出了减排想法。为了减少如动态规划、ECMS的运算量,杨超[28]在智能网联技术的基础上提出了基于烟花算法的能量管理策略,与基于规则的控制策略进行比较,燃油经济性提升了8.8%。
随着时代不断变革发展,“汽车+”深度融合技术得到飞速发展。为了解决某些具体的问题,乔仁杰[29]采用禁忌搜索和Floyd算法相结合,在结合卫星地图的情况下对某集团物流路线进行规划,大大减少车辆多余行驶里程,降低碳排放。
由上述分析可以得知,新能源汽车的节能减排技术体现在多种车型、多个方面。本文重点从纯电动汽车、燃料电池汽车、混合动力电池汽车等方向进行讨论,主要结论如下。
(1)EV的碳排放主要集中在生产阶段,尤其是电池的生产制造,在努力提高其能量密度的同时,还要注意对电池的回收处理和二次利用。在行驶阶段,要通过合理利用能量管理策略和对制动能量的回收,提升能量利用率。
(2)从FCV的全生命周期来看,要加快电解水制氢和可再生能源制氢的大规模应用,降低制氢过程的碳排放。提高电催化剂的催化效率,提升燃料利用率和反应速率。通过能量管理策略减少氢燃料的消耗和提升电能的储存、利用能力。
(3)HEV要充分发挥2个能量源的优势,提升汽车机电耦合和动力系统方面的节能技术,减少使各系统传递间的能量损耗。充分利用能量管理策略和动能回收,提升汽车行驶里程,促进节能减排。
