With the rapid development of new energy vehicles, hybrid vehicles have attracted more and more attention and quickly occupy the market. In order to optimize the power architecture of hybrid electric vehicles, this paper analyzes the power architecture of series-connected hybrid electric vehicles and series-parallel hybrid electric vehicles, studies the energy transfer paths, working modes and control logic under various working conditions, and finds that there are problems such as low energy efficiency and complex architecture. Therefore, this paper optimally designs a hybrid architecture and its control logic by reducing the energy conversion path of the power architecture and taking advantage of the characteristics of planetary gear group power shunt, etc. The results show that it not only has higher energy efficiency but a simpler architecture than the series-parallel hybrid architecture, which reduce development costs.

随着新能源汽车的迅猛发展,混合动力汽车受到广泛关注并快速占领市场。为了优化混合动力汽车动力架构,通过剖析串联式混合动力汽车与并联式混合动力汽车的动力结构,研究其在不同工况下的能量传递路径和控制逻辑,发现其存在能量效率低与结构复杂等问题。通过减少动力架构的能量转换路径并利用行星齿轮组功率分流等特性,优化设计了一种混合动力架构控制逻辑,研究表明其具备更高能量效率,同时结构更简单,提升能量效率的同时也较低了开发制造成本。

With the rapid development of new energy vehicles, hybrid vehicles have attracted more and more attention and quickly occupy the market. In order to optimize the power architecture of hybrid electric vehicles, this paper analyzes the power architecture of series-connected hybrid electric vehicles and series-parallel hybrid electric vehicles, studies the energy transfer paths, working modes and control logic under various working conditions, and finds that there are problems such as low energy efficiency and complex architecture. Therefore, this paper optimally designs a hybrid architecture and its control logic by reducing the energy conversion path of the power architecture and taking advantage of the characteristics of planetary gear group power shunt, etc. The results show that it not only has higher energy efficiency but a simpler architecture than the series-parallel hybrid architecture, which reduce development costs.

2020年国家从环境保护与能源战略安全的角度出发,提出了“碳达峰、碳中和”战略目标[1]。汽车行业迅速响应国家战略,推出“双积分”政策,推进新能源汽车绿色、健康发展。混合动力汽车属于新能源汽车的重要车型[2],相较于纯电动汽车,混合动力汽车拥有2个或2个以上动力源[3],兼顾了纯电动汽车与传统燃油车的优势[4],充电时间更自由,可对国家电网起到削峰填谷作用[5]
国外对混合动力汽车的研究起步较早,Davis等[6]结合燃料与电池寿命成本建立控制策略,降低2%成本的同时延长了动力电池寿命。Asensio等[7]基于电池荷电状态(State of Charge,SOC)值动态调整低通滤波器宽带的功率分流实时控制策略,有效提高了能量利用率。Gnanaprakasam等[8]利用原子轨道搜索与增强循环神经网络设计了混动车辆的控制策略,并有效提升了燃油经济性。国内对混动技术的研究相对起步较晚,但在国家政策的支持和推动下,中国自主品牌陆续发布了以串联式混合动力与串并联式混合动力为代表的混合动力汽车[9],国内学者在混动技术方面的研究也取得了丰硕成果。Tian等[10]利用模糊控制器跟随神经网络生成的SOC参考曲线,有效降低了整车油耗。王乐妍[11]将建立的速度预测模型与动态规划算法结合应用在混动能量管理问题上,获得了与全局优化算法相近的控制效果。任崇领等[12]研究员兼顾动力电池SOC的充放电平衡和燃油消耗,使用动态规划算法建立动态规划能量管理策略,仿真表明比基于规则的能量管理策略油耗降低5.78%。陈渠等[13]提出一种动态规划和神经网络结合的能量管理策略,对上海市某个随机工况进行仿真计算,显著提升节油效果。
为了兼顾汽车混动系统的燃油经济型和动力性,同时控制架构研发制造成本。本文基于对现有串联式与并联式混动系统架构与控制逻辑的研究分析,通过减少动力架构中能量转换路径并利用行星齿轮组功率分流等特性,优化设计了一种混合动力架构及控制逻辑,旨在使其具备比串联式混动架构更高的能量效率,且结构更为简单,提升能量效率的同时降低开发制造成本。
串联式混动架构电机分布如图1所示,发动机与发电机共同组成增程器,发动机、发电机和驱动电机串联工作,形成一条连续的能量路径,其能量流向为:发动机、发电机、动力电池、驱动电机。增程器与动力电池、驱动电机以及控制器为电器连接,发动机、发电机、驱动电机与变速器以及车轮为机械连接。
串联式混动架构主要体现在以下3个方面:
(1)发动机转速与车速解耦,发电机调节发动机在高效区间稳定工作,发动机具备良好的燃油经济性。
(2)动力电池可以为驱动功率“调峰”,发动机对排量需求较小,多采用1.5 L小排量发动机[14]
(3)增程器与驱动电机之间无机械连接,占用空间较小,整车布局相对更灵活。
尽管在适当标定且理想的工况下,串联式混动架构能够展现出良好的经济性,然而其劣势也尤为显著:
(1)发动机输出的全部功率需通过发电机转换为电能供驱动电机使用。为了实现功率平衡与良好的动力性,需配备较大的发电机、驱动电机和动力电池。
(2)发动机将燃料化学能转化为机械能,发电机将机械能转化为电能,动力电池将电能转化为化学能,再将化学能转化为电能供驱动电机使用,最后驱动电机将电能转化为机械能。这一能量转换路径较长,过程中增加了功率损耗。
(3)动力电池电量不足且在高速或高功率工况下,发动机难以持续在高效区间工作,电机效率下降且系统功率损耗较大,整车经济性与动力性不理想。
综上,在动力电池电量充足且中低速工况下,串联式混动架构具备良好的动力经济性,而在高速或高功率工况下,该架构难以保持较好的动力经济性。
并联式混动架构中,发动机与驱动电机并联驱动车辆,发动机既可以带动发电机发电又可以直接参与驱动车辆。并联式电机可按布置位置分为P0、P1、P2、P3和P4电机[15],数字越小电机距离发动机位置越近[16],如图2所示。
P0布置在发动机前端,通常与发动机柔性连接,仅负责辅助发动机启动。P1为集成式智能启动驱动发电机(Integrated Starter Generator,ISG),布置在发动机曲轴末端,介于发动机与离合器之间,发动机曲轴作为电机转子。P2电机位于离合器与变速箱之间,离合器负责控制发动机与电机的动力耦合与解耦。因此发动机与电机均可单独驱动车辆,也可共同驱动车辆。P3电机位于变速器输出轴与主减速器之间,距离轮端较近,只需安装一个固定齿比的减速器即可增加输出扭矩,直接通过减速器驱动车辆,其动力输出与能量回收效率高,但由于减速器距离发动机较远,所以其对发动机工作状态调节能力有限。P4电机一般与P2电机配合使用。
并联式混动架构通常采用P1~P4电机进行协同工作的方式,该架构具有以下3点优势:
(1)高效能量利用。发动机可以直接驱动车辆,能量损耗较低,发动机功率利用率较高,避开电机的低效区间,利用发动机的高效区间驱动车辆,可以在更多工况下保证经济性。
(2)发动机功率可适当减小。相较于串联式架构,并联式架构的发动机在带动电机发电的同时也可以直接驱动车辆,减少了需要装备大型动力电池的需求。
(3)动力性能强。发动机与电机可共同驱动车辆,能够有效应对大功率和大扭矩工况,具有更强动力性。
然而,并联式混动架构存在以下劣势:
(1)制造和研发成本高。由于并联式混动架构结构复杂性,其制造和研发阶段成本较高,且其后期维修和保养难度大。
(2)动力耦合要求。发动机通常需要与2个或2个以上电机协同工作,这要求装配动力耦合装置,且需较为精细的标定,以确保发动机和电机之间的协同工作达到最佳效果。同时,这种架构的控制逻辑也较为复杂,需要更为先进和精确的控制策略。
串联式混合动力基础架构主要由变速器、驱动电机、动力电池、发动机以及发电机组成。其中发动机与发电机为机械连接构成增程器,为系统提供电能。增程器与动力电池、驱动电机以及控制器之间为电器连接,驱动电机与变速器和车轮为机械连接。图3为某串联式混合动力架构车型结构。
串联式混合动力架构可以实现4种工作模式。
(1)纯电模式。系统根据动力电池SOC值,油门开度、车速以及增程器状态判定是否进入纯电模式。纯电模式下,系统根据油门开度、车速等条件判断所需扭矩与功率并控制驱动电机输出相应的转速与扭矩,此时驱动电机完全由动力电池供电。
(2)串联模式。当动力电池SOC值低于一定阈值时,增程器将开始运行并驱动发电机发电。增程器发动机在合适的转速与扭矩下运行,使发动机保持在高效区间工作。系统根据油门开度、车速、动力电池SOC得出驱动电机所需功率。增程器根据驱动电机所需功率向驱动电机直接供电,富余的电能将储存至动力电池。若功率需求增加,则由增程器与动力电池同时为驱动电机供电。
(3)动能回收。车辆减速行驶时,动力电池与增程器停止向驱动电机供能,车轮在车辆动能作用下带动驱动电机,驱动电机提供一定的反向制动力矩,将车辆的动能转化为电能并储存至动力电池。常见的动能回收主要包括制动回收、惯性回收和永磁制动回收。
(4)怠速充电。车辆静止时,增程器与动力电池不再为驱动电机供能,系统可根据动力电池SOC与用户用车场景调节增程器发电功率,发电机调节发动机在高效区间工作,驱动发电机为动力电池充电。
图4所示,双排行星齿轮串并联式架构,P1发电机内置双离合器,采用转子及离合器集成式排布,制动器模块平行于主减速机构,P2驱动电机的转子内嵌双排行星齿轮组。发动机与P1发电机通过花键刚性连接,作为前端动力源。P2驱动电机作为另一个动力源。两个动力源相互配合,通过双行星排及双离合、双制动器系统,实现模式切换及挡位切换。
第1输入轴前端通过花键与C0离合器刚性连接,后端通过热装与P2电动机过盈压装,同时输出1轴上的齿轮作为后排行星齿轮组的太阳齿轮.输入2轴(空套的轴)的前端通过花键分别与C3离合器和B2制动器刚性连接,同时其上的齿轮作为前排行星齿轮组的太阳齿轮。输入端为后排行星齿轮组的太阳齿轮,输出端为前排行星齿轮组的外齿圈。
并联式混合动力架构在不同的工况可以实现以下6种工作模式。
动力电池SOC值较高且不需高功率输出时,P2电机可以直接驱动车辆行驶。通过制动器与离合器的配合,实现纯电模式下1~3挡的切换。
在1挡工作模式下,如图5所示,前排行星架通过B1制动器锁死,动力由P2驱动电机出发,依次传递至后排太阳齿轮、后排行星架、前排外齿圈,最终到达输出端,实现1挡总速比a
2挡工作模式下,如图6所示,前排太阳轮通过B2制动器锁死,P2驱动电机驱动后排太阳齿轮,动力由太阳齿轮途径后排外齿圈、前排行星架、前排外齿圈,最后到达输出端,实现2挡总速比b
在3挡工作模式下,如图7所示,动力从P2驱动电机传至后排太阳齿轮。因第1输入轴前端与C0离合器的花键连接,当C0离合器与C3离合器结合时,2个行星排的太阳齿轮转速相同,实现速比为1的传动,再经过中间齿轮通过前排外齿圈将动力传递至输出端,最终实现3挡总速比c
动力电池SOC值较低时,发动机在高效区间工作,并驱动P1发电机发电。P2驱动电动机直接驱动车辆,将富余的能量储存至动力电池,通过制动器与离合器的协同配合实现串联模式的1~3挡切换。
在1挡工作模式下,如图8所示,前排行星架通过B1制动器锁死,P2驱动电机驱动后排太阳齿轮,动力由后排太阳齿轮途径后排行星架、前排外齿圈至输出端,实现1挡总速比a
在2挡工作模式下,如图9所示,前排太阳轮通过B2制动器锁死,P2驱动电机驱动后排太阳齿轮,动力由后排太阳齿轮途径后排外齿圈、前排行星架至输出端,实现2挡总速比b
在3挡工作模式下,如图10所示,动力从P2驱动电机进入后排太阳齿轮。因第1输入轴前端与C0离合器的花键连接,当C0离合器与C3离合器结合时,2个行星排的太阳齿轮转速相同,实现速比1的传动,随后经过中间齿轮,通过前排外齿圈将动力传递至输出端,最终实现3挡总速比c
若转扭需求超出P2驱动电机最大动力供给范围,发动机启动,C0离合器闭合,系统切换至并联模式。发动机与P2电动机共同发力,发动机作为动力补偿,富余的功率带动P1发电机,通过制动器与离合器的配合实现并联模式下的1~3挡切换。
在1挡工作模式下,如图11所示,前排行星架通过B1制动器锁死,P2驱动电机驱动后排太阳齿轮,动力从后排太阳齿轮途径后排行星架、前排外齿圈至输出端,实现1挡总速比a
在2挡工作模式下,如图12所示,前排太阳轮通过B2制动器锁死,P2驱动电机驱动后排太阳齿轮,动力从后排太阳齿轮途径后排外齿圈、前排行星架至输出端,实现2挡总速比b
在3挡工作模式下,如图13所示,动力从P2驱动电机与发动机进入后排太阳齿轮,因第1输入轴前端与C0离合器的花键连接,当C0离合器与C3离合器结合,2个行星排的太阳齿轮转速相同,实现速比1的传动,再经过中间齿轮,通过前排外齿圈将动力传递至输出端,最终实现3挡总速比c
在高速巡航工况下,发动机作为主要动力源,直接驱动车辆行驶,P2驱动电机作为后备动力源随时待命。
在1挡工作模式下,如图14所示,前排行星架通过B1制动器锁死,发动机驱动后排太阳齿轮,动力由后排太阳齿轮途径后排行星架、前排外齿圈至输出端,实现1挡总速比a
在2挡工作模式下,如图15所示,前排太阳轮通过B2制动器锁死,发动机驱动后排太阳齿轮,动力由后排太阳齿轮途径后排外齿圈、前排行星架至输出端,实现2挡总速比b
在3挡工作模式下,如图16所示,动力由发动机进入后排太阳齿轮,因第1输入轴前端与C0离合器的花键连接,当C0离合器与C3离合器结合时,2个行星排的太阳齿轮转速相同,实现速比1的传动,再经过中间齿轮通过前排外齿圈将动力传递至输出端,实现3挡总速比c
当驾驶员松开加速踏板,系统进入动能回收模式。系统将根据当前车速选择适合的挡位,激活距离车轮较近P2驱动电机执行能量回收任务。通过制动器与离合器的协同工作确保能量回收模式挡位与纯电模式挡位相同,但能量流向相反,能量由输出端回流至P2驱动电机,最终存储至动力电池。
当SOC值较低且不具备充电条件时,在串联模式的基础上,P2驱动电机将停止工作,发动机带动P1发电机发电,为动力电池充电。
图17为6种市场上主流混动架构,表1为主流混动架构的技术分析对比。其中包括理想增程式、五菱混动、长城DHT、上汽EDU、比亚迪DM-i、比亚迪DM-o等主流混动架构。
增程式即串联式混动架构的结构与控制较简单,但其只具备串联与纯电2种工作模式,发动机无法直接驱动车辆,发动机功率传输路径长、能量转换率低。因此在动力电池亏电状态下,由于动力电池不能提供充足的输出功率,发动机脱离高效区间工作导致油耗增高且动力性差。
并联式混动架构车型均具备串联、并联、纯电以及发动机直驱等工作模式,可以适应更多工况,即使在动力电池亏电的情况下仍可通过切换不同工作模式使发动机保持在高效区间工作。燃油经济性与动力性相较于串联式混动架构更高,但其结构与控制相较于串联式混动架构更复杂,且随着挡位数的增加其结构与控制将会更加复杂多变,研发制造成本更高。
为了综合串联式与串并联式混动架构的优点,本文提出了一种新的混合动力架构设计,如图18所示。旨在通过简化能量转换路径和利用行星齿轮组的功率分流特征,以更简易的结构与控制逻辑获得更高的燃油经济性与动力性。
发动机通过输入轴与太阳轮连接,作为前端动力源。电机作为另一个驱动源,通过离合器与行星架或外齿圈连接。2个驱动源通过行星齿轮组及双离合和3个制动器系统,实现工作模式切换与挡位切换。太阳轮与B1制动器连接,行星齿轮与B2制动器和C1离合器连接,外齿圈与B3制动器和C2离合器与输出端连接。
此种新型混动架构在不同工况可以实现以下6种工作模式。
在低速工况,如城区道路,动力电池SOC值较高时,发动机不工作仅由电机驱动车辆,通过制动器与离合器的配合,纯电模式可以实现不同挡位设置。
在1挡工作模式下,如图19所示,C1离合器闭合电机与行星齿轮连接,C2离合器断开,B1制动器锁止,行星齿轮主动外齿圈从动,降低速度的同时增加扭矩。
在2挡工作模式下,如图20所示,C2离合器闭合,电机与外齿圈连接,C1离合器断开,B1制动器锁止。此时外齿圈成为主动元件,行星齿轮从动空转,外齿圈转速与电机转速相同。
动力电池SOC值较低时,发动机起动,主动动力源来自于发动机,电机作为发电机将发动机的富余功率储存至动力电池,并可以调节发动机在高效区间工作。通过制动器与离合器的配合可实现以下2种挡位设置。
在1挡工作模式下,如图21所示,C1离合器闭合,电机与行星齿轮连接,此时太阳齿轮成为主动元件,行星齿轮带动电机为电池充电,外齿圈驱动输出端做功,根据行星齿轮组特性可知此时齿轮组无固定传动比,车速与发动机转速解耦。
在2挡工作模式下,如图22所示,C2离合器闭合,电机与外齿圈连接,C1离合器断开,B2制动器锁止。此时发动机驱动太阳齿轮作为主动元件,外齿圈作为从动,外齿圈带动输出端做功并将发动机富余的功率通过电机将存储至动力电池。
在急加速和高动力需求情况下,发动机起动,此时电机辅助发动机共同向输出端输出高扭矩,满足车辆动力性需求。
图23所示,C2离合器闭合电机与外齿圈连接,C1离合器断开,B2制动器锁止。发动机通过太阳齿轮驱动外齿圈,电机直接驱动外齿圈,发动机与电机同时通过外齿圈向输出端做功。
中高速巡航的路况条件下,发动机处于高效区间,发动机直接驱动车辆,电机待命。如图24所示,C1离合器断开,C2离合器断开,B2制动器锁止。此时发动机驱动太阳齿轮,太阳齿轮作为主动元件,行星齿轮锁止,外齿圈作者从动元件,发动机作为唯一动力源向输出端做功。
汽车减速制动工况下,电机作为发电机将回收能量,为电池充电。通过制动器与离合器的配合动能回收模式可以实现2种挡位设置。在1挡工作模式下,C2离合器闭合电机与外齿圈连接,C1离合器断开,能量从输出端到外齿圈,外齿圈以相同转速带动电机为动力电池充电。在2挡工作模式下,C1离合器闭合,电机与行星齿轮连接,C2离合器断开,能量从外齿圈进入带动行星齿轮驱动电机为动力电池充电。
城区怠速停车或动力电池SOC值较低且外部充电条件受限时,发动机驱动太阳齿轮以带动电机为动力电池充电。C1离合器闭合,电机与行星齿轮连接,C2离合器断开,B3制动器锁止。发动机驱动太阳轮,太阳齿轮作为主动元件,行星齿轮为从动轮驱动电机发电,为动力电池充电。
本文通过对混动架构结构与控制逻辑的分析,可得出以下优化效果:
(1)相较于现有串并联式混动架构,采用单个行星齿轮组配合双离合器与制动器的结构设计仅需1个电机和1个行星齿轮组,实现了结构的简单化。
(2)利用行星齿轮组功率分流的特点,SOC值较低时,更依赖发动机功率驱动汽车,如图25所示,将富余的功率通过电机储存至动力电池,能量转换路径相较于串联与并联混动架构的串联工作模式更短,发动机功率利用效率更高。
本文提出了一种优化设计的混合动力架构,该架构兼顾串、并联式混动架构多种工作模式,摒弃了传统串联工作模式,从而缩短了发动机的功率传输路径,提升能量转换效率。优化后的混动架构仅包含1个电机和行星齿轮组,结构与控制逻辑更为简单,显著降低了研发制造成本。
然而,本文优化设计的混动架构仅配备1个电机,此电机需要兼顾发电机与驱动电机的特性,电机的性能要求较高,且本文并未对发动机的传动比以及功率分流作详细的论证说明,有待未来进行深入研究。
