It evaluates application cases from leading technology companies and automakers, including Baidu, Huawei, Tencent, and iFlytek, while also undertaking a comparative analysis of their performance. The findings reveal that the incorporation of AI large models into multimodal interaction has markedly enhanced task processing efficiency and precision, thereby enriching the human-machine interaction within intelligent cockpits. In conclusion, this paper explores the challenges and future directions for the application of AI large models in intelligent cockpits, offering valuable insights for the ongoing advancement and integration of AI technology in this domain.

The intelligent cockpit is a crucial component of automotive intelligence, where multimodal interaction serves as a core function. To explore how AI large models enable smart cockpits to achieve multimodal interaction, this paper leverages the learning and generalization capabilities of AI large models to analyze the technical framework and key technologies of multimodal interaction. It evaluates application cases from leading technology companies and automakers, including Baidu, Huawei, Tencent, and iFlytek, while also undertaking a comparative analysis of their performance. The findings reveal that the incorporation of AI large models into multimodal interaction has markedly enhanced task processing efficiency and precision, thereby enriching the human-machine interaction within intelligent cockpits. In conclusion, this paper explores the challenges and future directions for the application of AI large models in intelligent cockpits, offering valuable insights for the ongoing advancement and integration of AI technology in this domain.

智能座舱是新能源汽车智能化的重要组成部分,也是提升汽车用户体验的核心要素[1-2]。随着汽车行业的电气化、网联化、共享化和自动化的发展趋势,智能座舱的技术创新和市场需求不断增长[3]。2020年,全球智能座舱市场规模达到1 389亿元(195亿美元),预计到2025年将增长至2 444亿元(343亿美元),复合年增长率达11.8%[4]。智能座舱不仅可以提供舒适的驾乘环境,还能通过视觉、听觉、触觉等多种感官通道,实现自然、高效的信息交换[5-7]。当前,国内外科技公司和车企在多模态交互技术上取得了一定的成果。百度、华为、腾讯和科大讯飞等公司均推出了大语言模型,用于语音控制、手势识别、面部识别等交互场景[8-9]。然而,现有研究大多集中在单一模态的交互上,多模态融合交互的研究相对较少。此外,在实现智能座舱高效多模态信息处理的同时提升用户满意度,仍是亟待解决的问题。
本文提出了基于AI大模型的智能座舱多模态交互技术框架,系统性地研究了多模态交互的核心技术和应用案例。通过对大量真实数据的训练,AI大模型可以主动识别驾驶员和乘客的多模态行为和需求,提供更加智能化和个性化的交互体验。本文分析了现有技术的优势和不足,探讨了AI大模型在智能座舱中的应用潜力和未来发展方向,为汽车行业的智能化提供新的启示。
多模态交互是指利用多种感官通道,实现人与车、车与车、车与外界的信息交换[10-11]。多模态技术框架由感知层、理解层、控制层和表达层组成,如图1所示。感知层采集和处理多模态输入信号,将其转换为特征向量。理解层分析和融合多模态特征向量,提取语义信息,构建多模态语境模型。控制层根据多模态语境模型,生成控制指令,实现智能控制。表达层根据控制指令,生成多模态输出信号,实现多模态反馈和交互。
感知理解技术利用计算机视觉、自然语言处理以及生物识别等技术,对多模态输入信号进行操作,实现对人的多模态行为的感知和理解[12-13],其主要包括语音识别技术、图像识别技术、手势识别技术和生物识别技术4个方面。
(1)语音识别技术。语音识别技术是将语音信号转换为文本或命令的技术,是最常用的输入方式,主要包括声学模型、语言模型、词典和解码器,负责将语音信号转换为音素序列,计算出音素序列对应的词序列的概率,提供音素和词之间的对应关系,搜索最优的词序列作为识别结果。其面临的主要挑战是处理语音信号中的噪声、口音、方言、语气以及情感等因素,提升准确性和鲁棒性。
(2)图像识别技术。图像识别技术是将图像信号转换为标签或描述的技术,是最直观的输入方式,主要包括图像分类、图像分割、目标检测、人脸识别以及场景理解等任务,负责将图像分配到类别中,将图像划分为语义区域,定位和识别目标,判断人脸的身份或属性,描述和解释场景。其面临的主要挑战是处理图像信号中的光照、遮挡、变形以及背景干扰等因素。
(3)手势识别技术。手势识别技术是将手势信号转换为命令或控制的技术,是最自然的输入方式,主要包括手势检测、手势跟踪、手势分类和手势解释,负责定位手部的位置,跟踪手部的运动轨迹,将手势分配到类别中,根据手势的语义,生成命令或控制。其面临的主要挑战是处理手势信号中的复杂背景、快速运动、遮挡、自相似等因素。
(4)生物识别技术。生物识别技术是利用人的生物特征,进行身份认证或状态监测的技术,是最安全的输入方式,主要包括特征提取、特征匹配、特征更新和特征融合[14],负责从生物信号中提取特征向量,将特征向量与数据库中的特征进行比对,根据生物信号的变化,更新数据库中的特征,利用多种生物特征,提高识别的准确性和鲁棒性。其面临的主要挑战是处理生物信号中的噪声、伪造、老化以及干扰等因素。
智能控制技术是利用机器学习、优化算法、控制理论等技术对多模态语境模型进行分析和决策,生成控制指令,实现智能控制。其主要包括意图识别技术、行为规划技术以及情感识别技术3个方面。
(1)意图识别技术。意图识别技术是判断驾驶员或乘客的意图或需求的技术,是最重要的控制技术,其主要包括意图建模、意图推理、意图预测和意图反馈,分别负责构建意图的概念结构和语义关系,根据多模态语境模型,推断出最可能的意图,根据历史数据和实时数据,预测出未来可能的意图,利用多模态输出信号,反馈意图识别的结果,提高交互的可信度和满意度。
(2)行为规划技术。行为规划技术是生成满足驾驶员或乘客需求的行为序列的技术,是最核心的控制技术,主要包括行为建模、行为搜索、行为评估和行为执行,负责构建行为的状态空间和动作空间,搜索最优或次优的行为序列,对行为序列进行评价和优化,将行为序列转换为控制指令,实现智能控制。
(3)情感识别技术。情感识别技术是判断驾驶员或乘客的情感状态和倾向的技术,是最人性化的控制技术,主要包括情感建模、情感分类、情感生成和情感适应,负责构建情感的表示形式和计算模型,将多模态语境模型中的情感信息分配到情感类别中,根据给定的情感类别或情感向量,生成多模态输出信号,使情感识别技术能够适应不同的个体和场景[15-16]
AI大模型是指具有强大的学习和泛化能力的人工智能模型,能够处理自然语言、视觉、语音、智能推荐等多个领域的任务。AI大模型在多模态交互中的应用案例和效果评估涵盖了多个领域,主要包括智能座舱、智能医疗、智能教育、智能家居、智能娱乐等。这些领域代表了多模态交互技术在不同应用场景中的典型实例和实际效果。
百度、华为、腾讯和科大讯飞的大语言模型通过自然语言处理、语音识别、视觉识别和多模态融合等技术,显著提升了智能座舱的个性化服务和用户交互体验。上述模型在智能驾驶、导航、娱乐和控制系统中展现了强大的应用潜力和多样化的功能,实现了更自然、高效的智能交互[17-20]
百度研发的文心系列大语言模型,主要包括文心一言、文心一识以及文心一悟。该系列通用预训练模型基于海量数据,支持自然语言理解和生成、知识图谱构建和对话系统等多个任务。在智能座舱技术领域,百度的大语言模型已经实现了实际应用。如百度智能驾驶平台Apollo通过集成大语言模型,实现了多模态交互功能,包括语音、手势、面部识别、情绪识别等,可提供个性化服务如导航、娱乐和安全等。百度智能小度车载版通过大语言模型实现了语音交互功能,包括语音识别、合成、理解和对话,为智能座舱提供多功能语音控制,进一步增强驾驶便捷性和舒适性。
华为的大语言模型(如TinyBERT、EZHA和PET)在智能座舱技术领域展现出强大的应用潜力。华为HiCar利用大语言模型实现了视觉交互功能,包括人脸识别、手势识别、情绪识别和眼动识别,提供个性化的导航、娱乐和安全服务。华为智能眼镜通过大语言模型的眼动识别、跟踪、控制和反馈功能实现了多模态控制,可支持信息娱乐和驾驶辅助等功能。华为智能音箱和智能手表作为硬件终端,利用多模态融合功能综合利用语音、手势和生理信号等输入信号,提供自然、友好和高效的多模态反馈和交互。上述应用展示了华为大语言模型在智能座舱中的广泛应用,显著提升了多模态交互的性能和用户体验,使智能座舱能够更好地理解和响应用户需求,提供更加个性化和智能化的服务。
腾讯的大语言模型包括Tencent AI Lab Machine Reading Comprehension(TALMRC)、Tencent AI Lab Neural Network Intelligence (TANNI)和Tencent AI Lab Open Domain Question Answering(TALODQA)等。这些模型作为通用预训练模型,通过海量数据训练,能够处理自然语言理解、自然语言生成、知识图谱和对话系统等多任务。
与其他大语言模型相比,腾讯模型在智能座舱中的应用具有独特优势。在语音交互方面,腾讯的大语言模型表现优秀,能够实现智能座舱的语音识别、合成、理解和对话功能。其高精度的语音识别技术能准确捕捉驾驶员和乘客的语音指令并生成自然的语音回复,满足车内信息娱乐、驾驶辅助、车内控制和车联网等多种需求。腾讯微信车载版和腾讯QQ音乐车载版是其在语音交互方面的典型应用案例。
此外,腾讯的大语言模型还在多模态融合方面展现出强大功能。通过综合利用语音、图像、视频、手势和生理信号等多种输入,可以实现构建复杂的多模态语境模型,生成多模态行为控制和反馈。这使智能座舱不仅能够理解复杂的多模态输入,还能生成最优或次优的行为序列,进行智能化的车辆和外部环境控制。腾讯智能导航和腾讯智能娱乐是其在多模态融合方面的应用案例,展示了腾讯大语言模型在提供智能化和个性化用户体验上的卓越能力。
腾讯大语言模型在智能座舱中不仅能够提供精准的语音交互,还能通过多模态融合技术,提供更加自然、友好和高效的智能交互体验。
科大讯飞的大语言模型,包括讯飞大语言模型、讯飞大知识图谱和讯飞大对话系统,是一套功能全面的通用预训练模型,能够处理自然语言理解、自然语言生成、知识图谱和对话系统等多种任务。
在智能座舱领域,科大讯飞的大语言模型的应用展现了其与其他模型的显著区别和独特优势。首先,在语音交互方面,科大讯飞的技术凭借其高效的语音识别、合成、理解和对话能力,能够实现精准的语音指令识别和自然的语音回复,支持车内信息娱乐、驾驶辅助、车内控制以及车联网等多功能控制。例如,科大讯飞智能驾驶平台和科大讯飞智能音箱通过其先进的语音交互技术,提升了车主的驾驶体验和操作便利性。
在多模态融合方面,科大讯飞的大语言模型则展现了其独特的综合处理能力。其可以整合语音、图像、视频、手势和生理信号等多模态输入,构建复杂的多模态语境模型,进而生成最优的行为序列,以智能化地控制车辆和外部环境。科大讯飞的智能导航和智能娱乐系统利用这一能力,实现了多模态语境理解和反馈生成,使得智能座舱能够根据用户的多种输入需求,提供更为精准和个性化的服务。
科大讯飞大语言模型的这种多模态融合技术,不仅增强了智能座舱的交互性能,还提升了用户体验的自然性和智能化水平,与其他模型相比,展现了其在处理复杂多模态信息和提供高度个性化服务上的显著优势。
从评估数据集、评估模型及评估指标3个方面入手对各语言模型进行评估。评估方法包括确保模型处理多种模态的能力、交互场景的广泛适应性以及计算和存储的高效性能。评估指标则关注模型在多模态交互中的准确性、自然性、流畅性及其他关键要素。
评估模型是指用于评估AI大模型的模型,其应该具有以下特点:
(1)能够处理多种模态的输入和输出信号,如语音、图像、视频、手势、生理信号等。
(2)可以实现多种交互场景和任务,如智能座舱、智能医疗、智能教育、智能家居以及智能娱乐等。
(3)具有强大的学习和泛化能力,可以适应多模态交互的复杂性和多样性。
(4)具有高效的计算和存储性能,可以满足多模态交互的实时性和稳定性。
评估指标是指用于评估AI大模型的具体指标,应该具有以下4个特点:
(1)反映多模态交互的核心要素,如准确性、流畅性、自然性、友好性、高效性等。
(2)反映多模态交互的不同层次,如感知层、理解层、控制层、表达层等。
(3)反映多模态交互的不同角度,如客观性、主观性、综合性等。
(4)反映多模态交互的不同维度,如功能性、可用性、可靠性以及可满意度。
表1中可以看出,百度、腾讯、科大讯飞、华为的大语言模型在图像描述、VQA、图像生成任务中均具有较好的表现,但在不同的指标上有所差异。百度的大语言模型在图像描述和图像生成任务上的BLEU-4和FID分数都最高,说明其生成的图像描述和图像质量都最接近真实数据。华为的大语言模型在图像描述和VQA任务上的BLEU-4和准确率分数仅次于百度,说明其对图像的理解和生成能力也很强。腾讯的大语言模型在图像描述和VQA任务上的BLEU-4和准确率分数略低于百度和华为,但在图像生成任务上的FID分数仅次于百度,说明其生成的图像质量也较高。科大讯飞的大语言模型在所评估的3项任务中的指标分数偏低,其在图像领域的应用水平还有进步空间。
AI大模型在智能座舱多模态交互中的应用展现出巨大的潜力和价值,但也面临一系列挑战和问题,需要持续不断的探索和创新,以实现更优的效果和用户体验。本节将详细探讨AI大模型面临的挑战,并展望未来的发展方向。
首先,模型训练和部署是AI大模型应用中主要挑战之一。训练和部署AI大模型需要大量的多模态数据,包括语音、图像、视频和手势等。数据的获取和处理是一个复杂的过程。模型的设计和优化是确保模型能够有效处理不同模态的数据并在多种交互场景中展现优异性能的关键。此外,应考虑模型的更新和迁移策略,适应多模态交互的不断变化和发展,从而保持模型的性能和适应性。
其次,模型的可解释性和可信赖性是AI大模型应用的另一个重要挑战。AI大模型的内部机制和逻辑必须具备透明度,以便用户能够理解模型的决策过程。模型的外部表现和效果也需经过详细评估,确保其输出的质量和效果符合预期。这些因素直接影响到模型在多模态交互中的有效性和用户信任度。
展望未来,AI大模型在智能座舱中的应用前景广阔,需在数据共享、模型个性化等方面不断创新和实践。首先,数据共享和协同将成为提升AI大模型性能的关键。通过标准化和规范化数据格式,能够提高数据的获取和处理效率。同时,数据集成和融合将增强信息的质量和全面性,为智能座舱提供更加丰富和精准的服务。此外,数据的分析和挖掘能够揭示数据中的有用信息,并支持跨领域和跨模态的融合分析。这不仅可以提升用户体验,还能通过可视化技术直观呈现分析结果,但需重视数据质量、安全性和模型的可扩展性问题。
其次,模型个性化和定制化将进一步提升智能座舱的交互效果。通过对用户进行建模和画像,可以了解用户的特征和偏好,进而实现个性化的适应和优化。模型的用户交互和定制化功能将使AI大模型能够更好地满足用户的具体需求,从而提升整体的交互体验。实现这些目标需要关注模型的灵活性、鲁棒性以及用户反馈,确保其适应不同的用户和环境变化。
本文研究揭示了AI大模型在智能座舱多模态交互中的潜在优势和应用趋势,明确了其能够显著提升交互体验和处理效率。通过深入分析,总结了当前应用中面临的主要挑战,如数据处理和模型的可信赖性,并提出了未来在数据共享、个性化定制等方面的研究方向,为推动智能座舱领域的持续发展提供了理论基础和实践参考。
尽管本文深入探讨了AI大模型赋能智能座舱的多个方面,但仍存在一些不足之处。首先,当前的研究在实际应用中的数据采集和处理的细节仍有待完善,特别是在面对数据隐私和安全问题时。其次,模型的泛化能力和适应性在不同环境下的表现尚未得到充分验证。未来的研究应重点关注这些未解决的问题,探索更加高效的数据处理和保护机制,以及提高模型的鲁棒性和适应性。此外,未来研究还需要进一步探讨如何通过创新算法和技术提升AI大模型的可解释性和用户信任度,从而推动智能座舱多模态交互技术的发展。
