To study the applicability of different data correlation evaluation methods for virtual evaluation of far side occupant protection condition, firstly, the dynamic response of 11 simulation and test data was determined by analyzing far side occupant basic data of two vehicle models, CORrelation and Analysis (CORA) and ISO/TS 18571 methods were further applied for correlation evaluation, and error analysis method was used to analyze the response with significant differences in the correlation evaluation results, and it is concluded that ISO/TS 18571 method provides more reasonable validation results than CORA method.

为研究不同的数据相关性评估方法在远端乘员保护虚拟测试中的适用性,首先通过分析2个车型的远端碰撞工况基础数据,确定了11个动态响应量,进一步应用相关分析(CORA)和ISO/TS 18571方法进行相关性评估,采用误差分析法对相关性评估结果中差异较大的响应量进行分析,证明了ISO/TS 18571方法相比CORA方法所得到的评价结果更加合理。

To study the applicability of different data correlation evaluation methods for virtual evaluation of far side occupant protection condition, firstly, the dynamic response of 11 simulation and test data was determined by analyzing far side occupant basic data of two vehicle models, CORrelation and Analysis (CORA) and ISO/TS 18571 methods were further applied for correlation evaluation, and error analysis method was used to analyze the response with significant differences in the correlation evaluation results, and it is concluded that ISO/TS 18571 method provides more reasonable validation results than CORA method.

欧洲新车评价规程(European New Car Assessment Programme,Euro NCAP)于2024年起进行远端(Far Side)虚拟测试的监测评价,中国新车评价规程(China New Car Assessment Program,C-NCAP)也在2024年版管理规则中增加了远端虚拟测试。远端碰撞工况包括远端双乘员工况和远端单乘员工况,其中远端单乘员工况具备相对简化的边界环境,虚拟测试结果可以参考整车试验结果验证,因此C-NCAP和Euro NCAP的远端虚拟测试研究主要集中于远端单乘员工况,主要针对乘员性别、座椅高度和撞击角度进行综合性测试[1-3]
虚拟测试中需要对仿真与试验曲线的相关性进行分析评估。工程系统的输出量通常为动态响应数据,对动态系统的评估可分为频域输出响应评估和时域输出响应评估。汽车安全领域的动态系统输出主要为时域输出,因此远端乘员保护相关性研究主要采用时域输出响应评估的方法。
目前,车辆碰撞模型精度的常用评估方法是相关分析(CORrelation and Analysis,CORA),该方法结合了2个次级误差度量方法来计算和评估两组数据的相关性,包括通道区间方法和互相关方法。通道区间方法是比较待验证的时间响应数据与定义的通道区间范围的接近程度的一种方法,互相关方法计算相位、形状和面积误差,两种子方法能够彼此弥补不足[4-5]
考虑到数据的相位、幅度、形状等主要特征之间存在相互作用和影响,国际标准化组织基于改进的响应误差评估(Enhanced Error Assessment of Response Time Histories,EEARTH)方法[6]提出ISO/TS 18571标准,其使用4种次级误差度量方法来计算和评估两组数据的相关性。
本文基于远端单乘员工况滑车试验研究远端乘员保护虚拟测试中CORA方法和ISO/TS 18571方法的适用性。
本文采用不同企业的2款成熟50 km/h侧面柱碰撞远端乘员保护CAE模型,均已通过对比验证并应用于产品开发,包括完整的座椅、安全带及中控台,但不含安全气囊,以尽量减少分析时的影响因素,图1所示为2款模型的CAE仿真和试验结果对比情况。车型1、车型2分别为轿车、SUV,采用基于统计误差和贝叶斯区间假设检验的多元模型验证方法[7],获得的贝叶斯可信度结果分别为75%、73%,可以认为相应模型的准确度分别为75%、73%。
根据K. Digges和Perez-Rapela的研究成果,远端乘员保护的头部偏移量和颈部伤害最易超标[8-10],考虑到远端假人伤害特性,远端乘员保护评估主要关注运动的趋势性,所以指标应至少包括头部偏移量、头部及胸部加速度、颈部伤害。
远端碰撞工况测试通过传感器记录头部位移、头部及胸部加速度、颈部力及弯矩、胸部及腹部肋骨压缩量。结合Euro NCAP于2020年实施的远端乘员保护假人伤害评价指标[11],选取的15个动态响应量如图2所示。由图2可以看出,各组数据的对比非常复杂,很难通过观察判断响应结果的有效性。本文分别采用CORA和ISO/TS 18571标准对图2中的响应进行相关性计算。
需要注意的是,头部和胸部加速度曲线分为xyz 3个方向,但远端碰撞工况中3个方向的加速度对评分影响不同,因此本文引入权重公式对加速度响应进行降维:

式中:AxAyAz分别为xyz向加速度的峰值,SxSySz分别为对应xyz向加速度曲线的CORA或ISO/TS 18571标准得分。
应用式(1)对头部及脊柱第四关节(T4)的加速度进行降维换算,最终将15个响应量修正为11个远端碰撞工况输出响应,表1所示为应用HyperWorks软件计算获得的CORA及ISO/TS 18571标准得分。结果表明,两种方法都能够区分响应量的相关性,且二者对响应量的排序一致。
然而,两种评分方法对胸部中肋骨和下肋骨压缩量的评分差值大于0.10,认为存在准确性问题,因此进一步采用误差分析法并结合专家意见对二者进行研究。
CORA和ISO/TS 18571方法中均包含通道评估,差异主要体现在CORA方法综合采用一个通道的面积、尺寸及相位误差评分[12],ISO/TS 18571标准评估相位误差nε、幅度误差εm和斜率误差εs[13]。因此,对比分析可以简化为相位误差、幅度误差、斜率误差、面积误差和形状误差的数据相关性准确度评估。
T R m × n × r tC R m × n × r c分别为包含重复物理试验数据和CAE仿真模型预测的多维数据1矩阵,其中m为可被观察的响应的维数,n为相应的数据点数量,rtrc分别为试验和仿真数据的重复数量,令TvRm×nCvRm×n分别为物理试验和仿真数据进行模型验证的多元平均矩阵。
基于测量时间序列间差异的动态时间规整(Dynamic Time Warping,DTW)原理,当初始曲线C(t)向左、右移动时间步长s时分别可得:

式中: h i = t s t a r t + ( s + i ) Δ t l i = t s t a r t + i Δ ttstart为评估间隔的开始时间,Δt为2个时间样本之间的间隔,a为时移曲线和截断曲线的数据样本数量, C ¯ ( t )为仿真曲线函数C(t)的均值, T ¯ ( t )为试验曲线函数T(t)的均值,i为仿真曲线函数C(t)平移和截断次数,PL(s)、PR(s)分别为初始曲线C(t)向左、向右移动时间步长s后计算获得的互相关值。
所有PL(s)和PR(s)的最大值定义为相位误差nε
幅度误差εm的计算公式为:

式中:Cts+wTts+w分别为在每个时刻仿真和试验间隔数据进行相移后完成动态时间规整的序列数据。
斜率误差εs的计算公式为:

式中:Cts+dTts+d分别为在每个时刻的仿真和试验样本曲线的求导序列数据。
基于式(2)~式(5)可以得到胸部中肋骨和下肋骨压缩量的ISO/TS 18571标准误差结果,计算过程参考文献[4]。应用HyperWorks计算获得相应的ISO标准相位分数、幅值分数、斜率分数,如表2所示。
面积误差εarea的计算公式为[14-16]

式中:ATAS分别为试验曲线、仿真曲线面积,y(t)为ATAS关于时间的面积函数。
形状误差εshape的计算公式为:

式中:KTC(s)为试验和模型响应曲线之间的互相关差值曲线,T(s)为任意平移时间步长s的试验曲线函数。
基于式(2)、式(3)、式(6)、式(7)可以得到胸部中肋骨和下肋骨压缩量的CORA误差结果,计算过程参考文献[12]。应用HyperWorks软件计算获得相应的ISO/TS 18571标准相位分数、面积分数、形状分数和CORA方法总的评估得分,如表3所示。
评估误差的优劣应采用误差区间阈值,误差不小于最大允许阈值时,评估得分为0。参考推荐的公式获得阈值区间矢量[7]

式中:Tk为选取次数为k时的试验数据;εUkεLk分别为阈值区间的上边界、下边界,中心为零;b为汽车安全领域专家确定的阈值占试验数据差值最大绝对值的比例,其是在原始数据空间下,根据试验数据计算10%~20%最大标准化后各输出响应的试验数据的绝对值获得的,本文选定b=0.2。
根据式(8)可以得到胸部中肋骨和下肋骨压缩量的误差阈值区间,如表4所示。对比表2~表4可以发现,ISO/TS 18571标准方法的幅度误差及斜率误差均大于或约等于阈值误差范围,该方法对各误差评分均为0左右,但CORA方法面积和形状评分都能获得分数,相比ISO/TS 18571标准方法分值高。
同时,将胸部中肋骨和下肋骨压缩量曲线图分发给4位汽车碰撞CAE专家,4位专家一致认为胸部中肋骨和下肋骨压缩量的幅值精度较差,不应获得分数,而斜率与幅值存在相关性,斜率得分也较低。
因此,对于这些特定的响应量,可以得出ISO/TS 18571标准方法提供了比CORA方法更合理的验证结果。
本文针对远端乘员保护虚拟测试的数据相关性进行研究,首先通过分析远端碰撞工况基础数据,确定了2个车型的11个仿真与试验数据的动态响应,然后应用CORA和ISO/TS 18571标准方法进行相关性评估,发现个别响应结果存在差异,最后采用误差分析法对相关性评估结果中存在差异的响应进行分析,最终验证了ISO/TS 18571标准方法提供了比CORA方法更加合理的验证结果。
