At present, low-end electric vehicle do not have direct slope signal information. To address this issue, this article proposed a road slope estimation algorithm based on the existing CAN bus signals. Firstly, vehicle speed signal and longitudinal acceleration signal values input from CAN were preprocessed, and a Kalman filtering equation was constructed based on the relationship between slope, vehicle speed and longitudinal acceleration, to estimate the road slope. Then, the impact of noise variance parameters on the slop estimation results was analyzed, and an adaptive tuning Kalman filter was designed to optimize the slope estimation results. Finally, the vehicle test was conducted, verifying the accuracy and real-time performance of the ramp estimation algorithm.

为解决低配电动车型缺少直接的道路坡度信息问题,提出基于现有控制器局域网(CAN)总线信号的路面坡度估计算法。首先,对总线输入的车速和纵向加速度信号进行预处理,并根据坡度与车速、纵向加速度间的关系构建卡尔曼滤波方程,估算道路坡度;然后,分析卡尔曼滤波过程中噪声方差参数对坡度估算结果的影响,设计自适应调参的卡尔曼滤波器,对坡度估计结果进行优化;最后,通过实车测试验证了坡度估计算法的实时性与有效性。

为解决低配电动车型缺少直接的道路坡度信息问题,提出基于现有控制器局域网(CAN)总线信号的路面坡度估计算法。首先,对总线输入的车速和纵向加速度信号进行预处理,并根据坡度与车速、纵向加速度间的关系构建卡尔曼滤波方程,估算道路坡度;然后,分析卡尔曼滤波过程中噪声方差参数对坡度估算结果的影响,设计自适应调参的卡尔曼滤波器,对坡度估计结果进行优化;最后,通过实车测试验证了坡度估计算法的实时性与有效性。

At present, low-end electric vehicle do not have direct slope signal information. To address this issue, this article proposed a road slope estimation algorithm based on the existing CAN bus signals. Firstly, vehicle speed signal and longitudinal acceleration signal values input from CAN were preprocessed, and a Kalman filtering equation was constructed based on the relationship between slope, vehicle speed and longitudinal acceleration, to estimate the road slope. Then, the impact of noise variance parameters on the slop estimation results was analyzed, and an adaptive tuning Kalman filter was designed to optimize the slope estimation results. Finally, the vehicle test was conducted, verifying the accuracy and real-time performance of the ramp estimation algorithm.

道路环境信息的挖掘和处理对车辆智能化发展至关重要[1]。其中,路面坡度估计在车辆自动换挡[2]、坡道起步[3]、自适应巡航控制[4]等领域的研究中均具有重要意义。
目前,坡度估计算法的研究主要基于全球定位系统(GPS)信号与力学模型。基于GPS信号的坡度估计算法主要根据导航坐标系中垂向速度与水平速度的比值估算坡度[5-7]。Bae等[8]分别使用单天线GPS和双天线差分GPS方案来估算坡度角;Sahlholm等[9]、Boroujeni等[10]利用卡尔曼滤波算法将车载传感器信息与GPS定位信息进行数据融合,获得较高精度的道路坡度估计值,但该算法模型对GPS信号精度要求较高。
基于力学模型的坡道估计算法依据车辆纵向动力学模型中坡度与驱动力、加速度、滚动阻力、风阻之间的关系,采用模型参数辨识[11]、卡尔曼滤波[12-13]等算法对纵向坡度进行估计。刘琳[11]等以动力学模型为基础,设计了带有遗忘因子的最小二乘算法,但该方法无法估算车辆静止状态下的道路坡度,且对于配备能量回收系统的电动车辆而言,当能量回收系统工作时,动力学模型会失真,坡度估计的结果会出现较大偏差。雍文亮等[14]基于多传感器融合滤波算法对动力学和加速度传感器数据进行加权融合,获得了精确的道路坡度估计值,但是模型涉及的整车参数需要进行精确标定,且整车质量未进行解耦估算,坡度估计结果会随整车质量的不同出现较大波动。
针对大量低配电动车型无法提供直接的坡度信息问题,本文提出一种对道路坡度进行实时准确估计的低成本方案。首先,根据总线现有的车速信号和纵向加速度信号构建离散状态空间状态方程;然后,利用采集的实车数据离线分析卡尔曼滤波算法中噪声方差参数对坡度估计结果的影响,同时提出自适应在线调参方法,使坡道估计响应延迟及追踪效果均得到优化;最后,搭载量产电动车型完成实车验证。
上坡过程中,车辆的加速度传感器工作原理如图1所示。传感器采集的车辆纵向加速度信号由重力加速度在坡道方向的分量与自车加速度的纵向分量构成。根据纵向加速度采集原理可知:

式中:asenx为加速度传感器采集的纵向加速度,g为重力加速度,i为道路坡道角, a C A N v = d v / d t为自车加速度估计值,v为CAN总线车速信号,t为时间。
asenx a C A N v已知时,可根据式(1)计算出坡道角估计值。但CAN总线的车速信号精度较低,当采样周期较短时, a C A N v分量波动较大(见图2)。实际坡道角以传感器采集的车辆俯仰角(Pitch)信号为参考(见图3)。由图3可知,路面坡道角估计值抖动剧烈,估计结果误差较大,数据无法使用。
卡尔曼滤波算法相对成熟,其迭代过程包括时间更新与测量更新。时间更新为对下一时刻的状态及误差协方差进行预测;测量更新主要计算卡尔曼增益系数,根据卡尔曼增益系数计算当前时刻状态值及误差协方差。滤波方程如下:

式中:v(k)为当前时刻车速;asenx(k)为当前时刻加速传感器测量结果;i(k)为k时刻坡道角;T为离散化时间周期,根据实际总线信号,采样周期设置为10 ms; w 1 ( k ) w 2 ( k ) w 3 ( k )分别为速度、加速度和坡道角的过程噪声。
因此,离散化状态方程表达式为:

受传感器精度及系统噪声影响,采集的纵向加速度信号与总线车速信号存在较大误差,因此,需对数据进行预处理。由于重力加速度沿坡道的分量和汽车自身的加速度信号均为低频信号,汽车振动导致的加速度噪声属于高频信号,可通过一阶低通滤波器滤除高频信号:

式中:ak为低通滤波器k时刻输出值,araw为原始输入信号,α为滤波系数。
将预处理后的总线车速信号与加速度信号作为卡尔曼滤波器的观测状态量输入。在卡尔曼滤波算法中,对滤波结果影响较大的参数主要是过程噪声方差Q和测量噪声方差R,由于过程噪声wk和观测噪声vk为彼此独立且符合正态分布的高斯白噪声,因此满足:

通过实车采集上坡过程中的总线参数,分析其速度信号、加速度信号随时间变化的关系(见图4)。计算速度信号方差和加速度信号方差分别为0.312 9 m2/s2、0.083 1 m2/s4,因此,取测量噪声方差矩阵R1为:

由于本文模型中u=0,因而无法通过输入信号u与状态量x之间的关系确定Q。因此,在仿真中依据经验设置过程噪声参数Q= 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1,并观察相关参数对仿真结果的影响。
根据上坡过程中采集的整车数据,令QR1为卡尔曼滤波噪声参数,估计路面坡道角,结果如图5所示。此时,坡道角估计值与参考值基本相符,但数据抖动较大,部分时刻误差极大,导致估计结果无法使用。
鉴于当前结果降噪效果不明显,考虑放大观测噪声方差R,使滤波器进行大幅度滤波。将R1放大100倍至R2,即设置滤波参数为 Q = 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 R 2 = 31.29 0 0 8.31,道路坡道角估计值如图6所示。此时滤波效果明显改善,但信号抖动依旧明显,估计结果仍然存在较大偏差;考虑继续将R2放大100倍至R3,即设置滤波参数为 Q = 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 R 3 = 3   129 0 0 831,道路坡道角估计值如图7所示,相较之前的坡道角估计值,噪声明显降低,稳定后坡道角估计误差较小,但跟踪结果开始出现延迟。
继续将R3放大100倍至R4,设置滤波参数为 Q = 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 R 4 = 312   900 0 0 83   100,滤波效果如图8所示,此时的响应明显滞后。综合上述分析,当参数R越大时,滤波效果越好,模型精度越高,但对应的响应延时也会增加。因此,在设置滤波器的参数时,需选择合适的观测噪声R兼顾响应延迟和估计误差。
分析过程噪声方差Q对滤波结果影响,设置3组滤波器,观测噪声选取滤波效果较好的参数R3,对应的过程噪声分别为 Q 1 = 0.01 0 0 0 0.01 0 0 0 0.01 Q 2 = 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 Q 3 = 100 0 0 0 100 0 0 0 100,滤波结果如图9所示。其中,Q1Q2Q3分别对应滤波器a、b、c的滤波结果,当Q过小时,滤波器延迟明显,当Q过大时,滤波后去噪效果不佳。
通过多组离线数据分析,以固定观测噪声方差R处理多组试验数据时,部分数据处理结果并不理想,因此,设计自适应调参滤波器对坡道角估计结果进行进一步优化处理。本文选取滤波效果较好的Q2作为过程噪声方差参数输入,针对R进行在线调参设计,k时刻对应的传感器噪声方差为:

k时刻对应的观测噪声方差R(k)可以表示为:

所采集的数据包括5组上坡过程和5组下坡过程数据,将响应延迟、坡道角估计偏差范围及坡道角估计偏差方差作为评价标准,对自适应滤波器和稳定滤波器的坡道角估计结果进行分析,如表1所示。其中,a组数据为自适应调参滤波器统计结果,b组数据为稳定参数滤波器统计结果。上坡和下坡过程中各取一组数据,如图10图11所示。
表1可知,在大多数工况下,自适应调参的滤波算法响应更快,稳定后的坡道角估计结果偏差范围更小,对应的偏差波动方差更低,在坡道角估计结果中性能明显优于稳定参数的滤波器。
图10a图11a可知,上、下坡过程中,2种滤波器均能快速追踪坡道角的变化,自适应调参滤波器对估计结果的追踪及对估计噪声的滤波效果相对更优。由图10b图11b可知,滤波器稳定运行后,当坡道角发生变化时,滤波器固有的响应延迟导致实时估计结果会出现较大偏差。
本文试验使用Simulink提供的Vector CANoe工具箱,定义总线波特率、信号输入输出通道、信号采样周期及CAN数据库解析文件,实现CAN总线数据和Simulink模型在线通信。将CANoe接入整车网络,设置Simulink为在线仿真模式,仿真步长设置为定步长10 ms,仿真时间设置为无穷大,路面坡道角估计算法流程如图12所示。
完成软、硬件环境搭建后,进行实车测试,试验场地选择地下车库具有一定坡度的路面。实车采集坡道角结果如图13所示,整个过程中,道路坡度角估计偏差为1°,估计结果稳定,抖动较小。因此,本文坡道角估计算法具有较好的准确性和实时性,可依据现有的总线数据准确估算出坡度,具备较强的适用性。
本文利用车辆总线上现有信号,根据运动学原理,建立坡度角与车速和纵向加速度间的关系,并使用卡尔曼滤波算法消除总线信号噪声对坡道角估计结果的影响。通过分析卡尔曼滤波参数对坡道角估计值的影响,设计了针对观测噪声方差参数R的自适应调参滤波器。验证结果表明,自适应调参滤波器在响应延迟、估计误差以及对坡道角变化时的追踪能力均优于稳定参数的稳定滤波器。最后利用实车试验验证了本文提出的算法可以准确地估计当前道路坡度角,实现实时在线处理。
本文方案无需加装额外传感器,无整车成本增加,且低配车型同样适配。未来,将进一步研究减速带对路面坡度估计的影响,增强本文方案对复杂路况的适应能力。
