To investigate the motion posture, submarining tendency and the effect of submarining on abdominal injury of child occupant in highly reclined seats in frontal collision, the dynamic simulation was conducted in the ECE R129 frontal collision trolley, with the validated child booster seat model and 6-year-old PIPER child biomechanical model in various sitting postures. The criterion for assessing the risk of child submarining was developed based on the anterior superior iliac spine of pelvis. The results indicate that when the seat back inclination exceeds 35° in the 50 km/h frontal collision, child occupant submarines, the abdominal compression and viscous index increase by 234% and 527% respectively and the maximum first principal strain of the liver increases by 45%, there is a risk of AIS 3 injury in the abdomen, measures to inhibit pelvis rotation of can diminish the inclination of submarining.

为探究正面碰撞工况下大倾角增高座椅中儿童乘员的运动姿态、下潜趋势以及下潜对腹部损伤的影响,以经过验证的儿童增高座椅模型为基础,结合不同乘坐倾角的6岁PIPER儿童生物力学模型,在ECE R129正面碰撞台车模型中进行了动态模拟,建立了基于盆骨髂前上棘点的儿童下潜风险评价准则。仿真结果表明,50 km/h正面碰撞工况下,当靠背倾角超过35°后,儿童乘员发生下潜,下潜后腹部压缩量和粘性指数分别增加了234%和527%,肝脏最大第一主应变增加了45%,下潜导致腹部出现AIS 3损伤风险,限制盆骨旋转可减小儿童的下潜趋势。

To investigate the motion posture, submarining tendency and the effect of submarining on abdominal injury of child occupant in highly reclined seats in frontal collision, the dynamic simulation was conducted in the ECE R129 frontal collision trolley, with the validated child booster seat model and 6-year-old PIPER child biomechanical model in various sitting postures. The criterion for assessing the risk of child submarining was developed based on the anterior superior iliac spine of pelvis. The results indicate that when the seat back inclination exceeds 35° in the 50 km/h frontal collision, child occupant submarines, the abdominal compression and viscous index increase by 234% and 527% respectively and the maximum first principal strain of the liver increases by 45%, there is a risk of AIS 3 injury in the abdomen, measures to inhibit pelvis rotation of can diminish the inclination of submarining.

未来,车辆乘员舱将允许座椅靠背调节至大倾角以获得更佳的乘坐舒适性,随着自动驾驶技术的快速发展,儿童乘员也将会以大倾角姿态参与交通运行。然而,传统的约束系统可能无法有效保护处于大倾角姿态下的儿童乘员,儿童乘员由于身材较小且髂骨未发育成型,更容易在碰撞中发生下潜现象[1]。同时,由于腹部没有骨骼结构的保护,下潜后安全带会挤压腹部软组织导致其变形,造成内脏组织损伤[2]。在交通事故中,倾斜坐姿乘员的受伤率和死亡率与正常坐姿乘员相比均有所上升[3]
Slusher等[4]评估了6岁PIPER儿童模型在不同类型增高座椅中的下潜状况,结果表明,虽然各评价指标对下潜的评估存在差异,但下潜后儿童腹部压力均显著增大。刘玉云等[5]分析了有限元建模方法对乘员防下潜仿真精度的影响。Forman等[6]探究了增高座椅中影响儿童下潜的因素,结果表明,座垫刚度和儿童坐姿对下潜的影响最显著。裴永生[7]等使用生物力学人体模型建立驾驶位乘员约束系统模型,对不同胸部损伤指标构建响应面模型,并采用模拟退火算法优化得到安全带最佳限力值和预紧时刻。柏杨[8]等探究了坐姿对6岁儿童胸腹部损伤的影响,结果表明,儿童乘员在后仰坐姿下与标准和前倾坐姿相比存在更高的胸腹部损伤风险。
在乘员防下潜研究中,针对乘员下潜倾向量化的研究较少。2015年版及以后的C-NCAP管理规则[9]中加入了假人髂骨力卸载率作为判断是否下潜的标准,但髂骨力卸载率无法量化下潜的趋势,且对不同身材特征的乘员不具备普适性。唐亮等[10]针对机械假人提出了腰带在骨盆上的相对位置(Lap Belt position On Pelvis,LBOP)准则作为对乘员下潜的评价标准,即通过腰带与大腿的距离量化乘员下潜趋势,但此方法也存在局限性,腰带与大腿的距离取决于腰带的初始位置,若初始位置不一致,则在该准则下无法比较。另外,生物力学模型肢体轮廓更加不规则,这对安全带形状和初始位置设置提出了更高的要求。
因此,本文使用6岁儿童生物力学模型在台车模型中进行动态模拟,分析大倾角座椅中儿童的运动姿态与下潜趋势,以及下潜对腹部损伤的影响,针对儿童生物力学模型,建立可量化下潜趋势的儿童下潜风险评价准则并进行验证。
本文采用由欧洲安全和风险分析中心(Centre Européen d’Etudes de Sécurité et d’Analyse des Risques,CEESAR)等机构联合开发的PIPER儿童生物力学模型[11],基本模型通过对6岁儿童进行计算机断层扫描(Computed Tomography,CT)得到。儿童模型身高114.6 cm,体重23 kg,坐姿高度63 cm,基本模型有353个解剖学结构,头部解剖结构包括颅骨、大脑、脑膜、小脑等,颈椎结构由椎骨、椎间盘、环状基质等构成,韧带由弹簧单元进行建模,PIPER儿童生物力学模型如图1所示。该模型的有效性已通过尸体试验验证,包括头部跌落试验、胸部摆锤试验以及脊柱柔韧性测试等[12]。基于PIPER标准坐姿儿童模型,通过调节髋部关节局部坐标系可得到不同乘坐倾角下的儿童模型。
由于目前市售儿童增高座椅靠背倾角调节范围有限,基于经台车试验验证的一款儿童增高座椅模型,修改增高座椅模型靠背与底座连接处结构,使得座椅靠背倾角可大幅调整。台车模型参数依据ECE R129法规附件6[13]设定,儿童增高座椅模型通过ISOFIX接口安装在台车模型上。台车及儿童约束系统模型共有307 363个节点、35 260个实体单元和298 553个壳单元。
导入已调节坐姿的PIPER儿童生物力学模型,基于台车试验H点位置采用预模拟法对儿童进行定位。建立三点式混合安全带,设置接触并施加加速度为9.8 m/s2的重力场。最后提取50 km/h正面碰撞加速度波形施加在台车上,加速度波形如图2所示。
基于建立的正面碰撞仿真模型,初始模型采用25°标准靠背倾角,以5°为步长逐渐增大台车靠背倾角及儿童增高座椅靠背倾角至55°,分别导入对应坐姿的PIPER儿童生物力学模型,并设置各靠背倾角下儿童H点位置相同,得到不同靠背倾角正面碰撞仿真模型,如图3所示。
盆骨角度定义为盆骨髂前上棘、耻骨联合的连线与垂线之间的夹角在纵向平面内的投影。图4所示为不同靠背倾角下安全带与盆骨的相对位置,可以观察到,靠背倾角不超过35°时,盆骨初始角度较小,腰带始终作用于儿童盆骨,盆骨前向位移远小于躯干前向位移,这使得盆骨角度保持在较小增幅,其中最大盆骨转角为19°。
靠背倾角增大至40°时,盆骨初始角度随之增大,腰带相对于盆骨向上滑移使得盆骨前向位移增大,肩带限制了儿童躯干前向位移,导致盆骨向后旋转,并加剧了腰带向上滑动的趋势,最终打破了安全带与儿童间的临界“自锁”状态[14],导致下潜发生。此时盆骨转角为33°,相较于标准靠背倾角(25°)条件下增加了153.8%,盆骨前向位移为220 mm,相较于标准靠背倾角条件下增加了60.9%。因此,减小盆骨向后旋转角度的措施(如限制盆骨前向位移、适当增大躯干前向位移)可以抑制儿童下潜趋势,图5图6所示为不同靠背倾角前向位移变化及盆骨角度曲线。
靠背倾角继续增大,儿童以近似躺姿状态倾斜地坐在增高座椅中,盆骨初始角度更大,髂前上棘位置更低且更靠后,此时腰带已完全不能约束儿童盆骨,盆骨前向位移超过躯干前向位移,儿童整体从增高座椅中向前滑移,肩带存在勒紧颈部的风险,儿童还有可能发生二次碰撞。
在低速加载(如安全带加载)时,腹部压缩量可作为预测腹部损伤的指标,腹部压缩直接表现为腹部压力升高。在儿童未下潜时,腹部压缩量最大值为29.1 mm,峰值时刻在第65 ms左右,此时腹部压力为48 kPa;下潜后由于安全带直接作用于儿童腹部,导致腹部压缩量急剧增大,在55°靠背倾角时腹部压缩量达到最大值65.5 mm,峰值时刻在第90 ms左右,相比标准靠背倾角(25°)时腹部压缩量增大了234%,此时腹部压力为91 kPa,图7图8所示为不同靠背倾角条件下腹部压缩量及腹部压力曲线。
Viano通过尸体摆锤试验[15]获得了简明损伤定级标准(Abbreviated Injury Scale,AIS)与胸腹部压缩比的关系,将儿童与成人的身材比例进行缩放,可得到6岁儿童AIS与腹部压缩比的关系:

式中,SAIS为简明损伤定级;C为腹部压缩比,即腹部压缩量与腹部初始厚度的比值。
由腹部压缩量和式(1)可得,55°靠背倾角时儿童腹部损伤最大,腹部AIS为2.9级,下潜存在对儿童腹部造成中度伤甚至较重伤的风险。
碰撞时腹部软组织损伤不仅与腹部压缩量有关,与腹部变形速率也有很大关系,粘性准则考虑了变形速率的影响。当腹部粘性指数达到1 m/s时,有超过25%的概率产生不低于AIS 4的腹部损伤,腹部粘性指数表达式为:

式中,v(t)为腹部压缩速度函数;D(t)为腹部压缩量;C(t)为腹部压缩率函数;b为腹部初始厚度。
未下潜时,儿童腹部粘性指数峰值最大为0.19 m/s,峰值时刻在第60 ms左右;下潜后,腹部粘性指数波峰时刻延后且峰值急剧增大,在第1个波峰时刻会造成较大的腹部损伤,最大峰值为0.69 m/s,发生在55°靠背倾角时,相比标准靠背倾角时增大了527%。依据腹部粘性准则,下潜有造成儿童腹部AIS 3重伤的风险。图9所示为不同靠背倾角时的腹部粘性指数曲线。
当儿童处于标准靠背倾角(25°)时,肝脏、脾脏、肾脏的最大第一主应变分别为33%、22%、17%,肝脏最大第一主应变位置在肝左外叶上段,是肩带束缚儿童躯干压迫左侧肋弓所致,脾脏最大第一主应变位置在与胃部接触的脏面后端,肾脏最大第一主应变位置在左肾肾动脉上部靠近第二腰椎处;当靠背倾角达到40°时下潜发生,肝脏、脾脏、肾脏的最大第一主应变分别为31%、21%、22%,脾脏最大第一主应变位置在脾面前端与第九肋骨接触处,肾脏最大第一主应变位置在左肾下端与左侧腰肌接触处;当靠背倾角为55°时,肝脏、脾脏、肾脏的最大第一主应变分别为48%、26%、26%,肝脏最大第一主应变位置在肝右后叶下段,由腰带滑落至上腹部挤压肝脏变形所致,脾脏最大第一主应变位置在脾面后端靠近第十一肋骨处。腹部脏器最大第一主应变云图如表1所示。
由于肝脏、脾脏、肾脏等腹部脏器主要分布在上腹部,靠背倾角超过40°后,下潜导致腹部脏器最大第一主应变显著增大。其中肝脏因腰带挤压变形产生的损伤最严重,55°靠背倾角时肝脏最大第一主应变比标准靠背倾角时增大了45%,图10所示为不同靠背倾角时腹部脏器最大第一主应变。
由于目前各种下潜评价准则对儿童乘员存在一定局限性,通过对儿童下潜趋势进行分析并基于安全带与盆骨相对运动原理,针对儿童生物力学模型建立了儿童下潜风险评价准则:

式中,Qxmin为在纵向平面内,腰带下边缘点Q在盆骨局部坐标系上投影点Qx的最小坐标位置。
Qxmin≤0,腰带仍作用于盆骨,儿童未发生下潜,若Qxmin>0,腰带越过盆骨髂前上棘点,下潜发生。Qxmin还可量化儿童下潜趋势,Qxmin越小,下潜趋势越小,反之,下潜趋势越大。
其中,盆骨局部坐标系定义为:在纵向平面内,以平行于髂骨髂前下棘、耻骨联合连线方向并通过髂前上棘点的直线为x轴建立盆骨局部坐标系,髂前上棘点即x轴坐标原点,向上为x轴正方向。盆骨局部坐标系在纵向平面内跟随盆骨结构运动,如图11所示。
不同靠背倾角下的Qx指标如图12所示,由图12可以看出:不同靠背倾角安全带的初始位置略有差异,但最大偏差在7 mm以内,可以忽略;Qxmin随靠背倾角增大而增大,表明儿童下潜趋势增加。靠背倾角超过35°后,Qxmin>0,表明下潜发生,表2所示为不同靠背倾角时的Qxmin及下潜判断。
这与仿真动画中观察到的安全带与盆骨相对位置所得结论一致,另外,通过腹部压缩量、腹部压力等腹部损伤指标在靠背倾角35°前后的显著变化也可以佐证下潜的发生。上述结果验证了所建立的儿童下潜风险评价准则的正确性。
本文使用6岁PIPER儿童生物力学模型在ECE R129台车模型中进行了50 km/h正面碰撞动态模拟,针对儿童生物力学模型建立了可量化下潜趋势的儿童下潜风险评价准则并进行了验证,得到以下结论:
a. 随着靠背倾角增大,儿童髂前上棘的位置更低且更靠后,下潜趋势随盆骨角度增大而增大;靠背倾角超过35°后,儿童在增高座椅中发生下潜,严重下潜时,存在肩带勒紧儿童颈部和发生二次碰撞的风险,通过抑制盆骨向后旋转的措施(如限制盆骨前向位移、适当增大躯干前向位移)可减小儿童下潜趋势。
b. 下潜会显著增大儿童腹部损伤,下潜后,腹部压缩量和粘性指数分别比标准靠背倾角时增大了234%和527%。下潜会对肝脏造成较大损伤,肝脏最大第一主应变比标准靠背倾角时增加了45%,对照AIS标准,下潜有造成AIS 3腹部损伤的风险。
本文探究了大倾角增高座椅中儿童乘员的运动姿态与下潜趋势,以及下潜对腹部损伤的影响,从理论上分析了抑制儿童下潜的方法,建立了儿童下潜风险评价准则,后续将对儿童在大倾角增高座椅中的防下潜措施开展进一步研究。
