The purpose of this study is to define the automatic triggering conditions for the national standard of the Automatic Emergency Call System (AECS) in China, and to standardize the test conditions to improve the efficiency and accuracy of emergency response to traffic accidents. The paper first studies of the current status of AECS-related standards abroad, proposing the basic principles for the automatic triggering conditions of AECS suitable for China, that is, the collision intensity required for AECS automatic triggering should not exceed the collision intensity required for the airbag to be fired. Through research on the airbag calibration strategies of domestic car and the collection of a large amount of real vehicle collision acceleration data, the collision dynamics in various directions were analyzed, the vehicle body motion characteristics were studied, and the data processing and statistical analysis were carried out. The acceleration waveforms of frontal, side, and rear collisions are determined, and the test acceleration corridors and velocity change parameters for the automatic triggering conditions in the AECS standard are defined accordingly. The results of the verification test show that the defined automatic triggering conditions are more sensitive than the United Nations (UN) standards, which can effectively improve the response efficiency of AECS.

研究了国外车载事故紧急呼叫系统(AECS)相关标准的现状,提出了适用于我国的AECS自动触发条件的基本原则。通过对国内车企气囊标定策略的调研和大量实车碰撞加速度数据的收集,分析了各个方向的碰撞动力学,研究了车体运动特征,并进行了数据处理和统计分析。确定了正面碰撞、侧面碰撞和后碰撞的车身加速度波形,并据此定义了AECS标准中自动触发条件的试验加速度通道和速度变化量参数。试验结果表明,所定义的自动触发条件较联合国标准更为敏感,能够提升AECS的响应效率。

The purpose of this study is to define the automatic triggering conditions for the national standard of the Automatic Emergency Call System (AECS) in China, and to standardize the test conditions to improve the efficiency and accuracy of emergency response to traffic accidents. The paper first studies of the current status of AECS-related standards abroad, proposing the basic principles for the automatic triggering conditions of AECS suitable for China, that is, the collision intensity required for AECS automatic triggering should not exceed the collision intensity required for the airbag to be fired. Through research on the airbag calibration strategies of domestic car and the collection of a large amount of real vehicle collision acceleration data, the collision dynamics in various directions were analyzed, the vehicle body motion characteristics were studied, and the data processing and statistical analysis were carried out. The acceleration waveforms of frontal, side, and rear collisions are determined, and the test acceleration corridors and velocity change parameters for the automatic triggering conditions in the AECS standard are defined accordingly. The results of the verification test show that the defined automatic triggering conditions are more sensitive than the United Nations (UN) standards, which can effectively improve the response efficiency of AECS.

车载事故紧急呼叫系统(Accident Emergency Call System,AECS),能够在车辆发生事故时,通过内部算法判断事故的发生,自动将车辆的位置、碰撞强度等相关信息发送给救援服务平台,同时与服务平台建立通话连接。
欧盟2015年推出AECS相关技术法规EU2015/758《关于部署基于112服务的eCall车载系统的型式认可要求》,该标准于2017年修订为EU2017/79《针对基于112的eCall车载系统和独立技术单元的EC型式认证技术要求和测试程序》[1]。在该标准中,要求制造商提供声明,证明系统可在低于联合国标准UN R94《关于就正面碰撞中乘员保护方面批准车辆的统一规定》和UN R95《关于就侧面碰撞中乘员保护方面批准车辆的统一规定》碰撞试验强度的条件下被自动触发。
2018年联合国欧洲经济委员会颁布了联合国标准UN R144《关于AECS系统的统一规定》,其中自动触发条件要求在UN R94和UN R95碰撞试验后,AECS系统应被自动触发[2],但是对于UN R94和UN R95豁免的车型则不需要满足自动触发要求,此外对于未配置气囊的车辆,无法感知碰撞的发生,因此不需要自动触发。
俄罗斯关于AECS的标准较多,其中关于碰撞检测机制和自动触发条件的标准有2项,GOST R 54620—2011《道路交通事故应急响应系统——车载紧急呼叫系统/设备通用技术要求》和GOST R 55532—2013《道路交通事故应急响应系统——评估车载紧急呼叫系统符合事故检测要求的检验方法》。这两项标准规定了车辆应能自动侦测各种事故方式并自动触发AECS系统,包括:正面碰撞、侧面碰撞、后碰撞、翻滚,具体的试验方法除实车碰撞试验方法外,还定义了5个碰撞方向的台车试验方法,包括:正面碰撞、正面左前20°角碰撞、正面右前20°角碰撞、侧面碰撞、后碰撞。碰撞加速度峰值范围为24~35 g,碰撞过程中加速度超过24 g的作用时间大于40 ms(建议50 ms)[3-4]。该加速度冲击强度与UN R94和UN R95实车碰撞强度相当甚至略高。
目前我国的强制性国家标准《车载事故紧急呼叫系统》正在报批。由于在严重碰撞事故中,车内人员可能已经丧失自主报警的能力,因此AECS系统的自动触发条件是标准中重要的技术内容之一。本文重点阐述了AECS系统自动触发条件的设定原则、研究方法和过程,并基于实际车辆碰撞试验的加速度数据,给出了自动触发条件的试验加速度波形通道。
目前我国正面碰撞国家标准GB 11551《汽车正面碰撞的乘员保护》(对应UN R94)和侧面碰撞GB 20071《汽车侧面碰撞的乘员保护》(对应UN R95)的碰撞速度均为50 km/h左右,用以考核车辆的安全防护功能。但低于该碰撞强度的事故不意味着乘员是绝对安全的,故AECS的自动触发条件应适度减小。另外由于安全气囊的普及,碰撞发生时安全气囊可能挤压成员眼部,造成暂时视觉模糊[5-8]。此外,气囊点火的爆炸声巨大,加之乘员与声源距离较近,可导致耳鸣,严重时甚至可能造成短时晕厥。因此,本研究确定AECS自动触发条件的基本原则为:气囊起爆时AECS系统应能自动触发,即气囊必爆限值应高于或等于AECS自动触发条件,如图1所示。其中碰撞强度应与碰撞速度呈正相关。
由于气囊系统需要在碰撞发生后10 ms左右做出点火决策,取气囊必爆限值作为参考,并将AECS自动触发条件设定为碰撞强度≤气囊必爆限碰撞强度。
本研究调研了国内13家企业气囊标定策略和点火速度数据,统计结果如表1所示。对于正面碰撞,气囊必爆下限速度范围为19~30 km/h,平均值为23.3 km/h;对于侧面碰撞,气囊必爆下限速度为25~30 km/h,平均值为27.5 km/h。
后碰撞工况下,气囊通常不会点爆,因此参考其他标准,将碰撞强度定义为等同国标GB 20072《乘用车后碰撞安全要求》的强度。国内外各国新车评价规程(New Car Assessment Program,NCAP)中鞭打试验是考核车辆被追尾时,座椅头枕对乘员头颈部的保护能力,碰撞强度以速度变化量ΔV表征,速度变化量范围通常为16~24 km/h,该碰撞强度与GB 20072中移动壁障为1 100 kg、碰撞速度为50 km/h的试验工况强度相当。
标准中的台车碰撞工况通常从2个角度定义,即速度变化量ΔV和碰撞全时间域的加速度,前者从宏观层面表征了碰撞整体强度水平,而后者从微观层面反映了碰撞过程中每一瞬间的加速度特征。为此,本研究收集了137条行业内实车低速正碰的车辆B柱碰撞速度数据,选取其中116条碰撞速度为12~35 km/h的数据。碰撞速度分布如图2所示。
对数据进行速度归一化处理,将所有数据均统一为碰撞速度为23.3 km/h的状态。此处引入碰撞恢复系数e[9]

式中: v 1 v 2分别为碰撞前碰撞双方速度, v 1 ' v 2 '分别为碰撞后碰撞双方速度。
实车正碰试验中,将试验车辆牵引至设定的试验速度 v 0,之后车辆在无约束的状态下自由碰撞固定壁障。根据式(1)可得碰撞车辆的速度变化量为: Δ V = 1 + e v 0。同时碰撞中的加速度积分即为速度变化量,由此可见当 v 0变化时,ΔV和加速度均与之呈正相关变化。
计算所有加速度曲线的平均曲线,如图3所示,加速度标准差σ=4.0 g,积分运算后速度变化量ΔV=26.6 km/h。基于平均曲线±1σ简化为梯形通道,通道参数如表2所示。
基于以上结果,将自动触发条件的正碰试验参数定义为:试验加速度曲线应在如图3所示的上、下限通道范围内,速度变化量ΔV应为26.6±1 km/h。
正碰试验是车辆与固定壁障的单体碰撞,而侧碰试验是移动壁障与试验车辆的双体碰撞。根据上文,侧面气囊在侧碰中的必爆限碰撞速度平均值为27.5 km/h,本研究收集了61条碰撞速度为15~40 km/h的实车侧碰中央通道加速度数据。
试验中,将移动壁障牵引至设定试验速度 v 0,之后移动壁障在无约束的状态下自由碰撞静止的试验车辆侧面。碰撞过程满足动量守恒:

式中: m 1为移动壁障质量, m 2为试验车质量。
联立式(1)、式(2)可得试验车的速度变化量为:
Δ V = v 2 ' - v 2 = m 1 m 1 + m 2 1 + e v 0
其中,由于侧碰中试验车辆初始静止,因此 v 2 = 0
侧碰中试验车的速度变化量与碰撞速度 v 0呈正相关,与试验车质量呈负相关。本研究中61组数据对应的试验车质量范围为1 200~2 410 kg,因此在数据归一化处理时,除了将碰撞速度归一化外,还需对试验车质量进行归一化处理。我国国标GB 20071处于修订阶段,其移动壁障的标准质量由950 kg提高至1 400 kg[10-11],与Euro-NCAP的AE-MBD测评规程中一致,因此本研究采纳其研究结论,以1 400 kg作为质量归一化基准。
与正碰统计方法相同,计算所有加速度曲线的平均曲线,如图4所示,标准差 σ = 2.0   g,积分获得速度变化量ΔV=14.3km/h。基于平均曲线±1σ简化为梯形通道,通道参数如表3所示。
因此,将自动触发条件的侧碰试验参数定义为:试验加速度曲线应在图4所示的上、下限通道范围内,速度变化量ΔV应为14.3±1 km/h。
实车后碰撞与侧面碰撞类似,采用与侧面碰撞相似的数据处理流程和方法。
本研究共收集实车后碰撞试验数据67条,经过清洗和筛选采用数据57条。修正并计算所有加速度曲线的平均曲线,如图5所示,标准差 σ = 5.4   g,积分运算后速度变化量ΔV=27.2 km/h。基于平均曲线±1σ提取简化通道,根据工程经验和其他标准,后碰特征波形大多是三角波,因此简化通道与正碰侧碰略有不同,通道参数如表4所示。
因此,建议在AECS标准中将自动触发条件的后碰试验参数定义为:试验加速度曲线应在如图5所示的上、下限通道范围内,速度变化量ΔV应为27.2±1 km/h。
选取两款具有AECS功能的车辆进行标准验证试验,其中型号A是针对上述国标计划采用的自动触发条件进行算法适配的产品;型号B为满足UN R144的产品,但是未针对我国国标进行算法修改。
正碰试验的加速度曲线如图6所示,积分计算可得速度变化量分别为26.9 km/h和26.6 km/h。侧碰试验的加速度曲线如图7所示,积分速度变化量均为14.5 km/h。后碰试验的加速度曲线如图8所示,积分速度变化量分别为27.4 km/h和27.6 km/h。试验结果如表5所示。在正碰试验中,两款产品都自动触发了AECS系统。型号B针对UN R144标准开发,虽然UN R144中正碰自动触发的验证试验碰撞强度为实车碰撞速度50 km/h,但是该产品设计中留有较大冗余,在台车碰撞速度变化量26.6 km/h的碰撞强度中,依然满足了AECS自动触发条件。但在侧碰和后碰试验中,产品A正常触发了AECS系统,而产品B未能自动触发。这是由于我国国标定义的侧碰强度为速度变化量14.3±1 km/h,远低于UN R95标准的实车侧碰速度50 km/h,即使产品设计留有一定冗余,该碰撞强度仍未达到产品的自动触发条件。而对于后碰工况,因为UN R144标准中未做要求,因此产品没有开发AECS系统在后碰中自动触发的功能。由此可见我国标准较为严格,要求AECS系统的自动触发条件更为敏感,可以降低在较严重事故中的漏报风险。
本文对AECS自动触发加速度波形进行了深入研究,旨在确保严重事故中车辆能自动触发AECS系统,提高事故救援效率,降低事故中乘员伤亡率。通过调研国内企业的气囊标定策略和点火速度数据,为AECS自动触发条件的设定和数据处理提供了实际依据。对正面碰撞、侧面碰撞和后碰撞的加速度波形进行了详细的数据分析和处理,提出了归一化处理方法,并基于此定义了自动触发条件试验的标准加速度波形通道和速度变化量。
进行了两个车型的验证试验,结果表明本标准计划采用的自动触发条件具有可行性,针对性开发算法后能够在标准试验条件下实现AECS系统的自动触发。我国国标的自动触发条件比国际标准的更为敏感,能够确保在较严重事故中不会漏报。基于UN R144标准开发的车辆不能直接满足我国国标要求,需进行算法适应性配套。
