To balance lane departure issues under various driving styles and visibility conditions, this paper proposes an adaptive lane departure warning strategy. Driving behavior data is collected using driving simulator, and parameters such as lateral position deviation, time-to-lane crossing, and deviation speed are selected. Based on the fuzzy clustering algorithm, drivers are classified according to their driving styles. Subsequently, a Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBFNN) model is introduced to achieve driving style recognition. Different warning thresholds are designed to construct an adaptive lane departure warning model. Finally, a driver-in-the-loop experiment is conducted. The results indicate that the model achieves an overall accuracy of 94.7%, it can effectively output dynamic thresholds for different drivers and visibility, thereby reducing false alarms and enhancing the applicability of the lane departure warning system.

为了兼顾不同的驾驶风格和能见度的车道偏移问题,提出了一种自适应车道偏离预警策略。利用驾驶模拟器采集驾驶行为数据,选用横向位置偏差、跨道时间、偏离速度等参数,基于模糊聚类算法将驾驶员按照驾驶风格分类,引入径向基函数神经网络(RBFNN)实现驾驶风格识别。通过设计不同预警阈值,构建自适应车道偏离预警模型,并进行在环试验验证。结果表明:提出模型的精准度达到94.7%,对于不同的驾驶员和能见度能够有效输出动阈值、减小误警率,提高车道偏离预警系统的适用性。

To balance lane departure issues under various driving styles and visibility conditions, this paper proposes an adaptive lane departure warning strategy. Driving behavior data is collected using driving simulator, and parameters such as lateral position deviation, time-to-lane crossing, and deviation speed are selected. Based on the fuzzy clustering algorithm, drivers are classified according to their driving styles. Subsequently, a Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBFNN) model is introduced to achieve driving style recognition. Different warning thresholds are designed to construct an adaptive lane departure warning model. Finally, a driver-in-the-loop experiment is conducted. The results indicate that the model achieves an overall accuracy of 94.7%, it can effectively output dynamic thresholds for different drivers and visibility, thereby reducing false alarms and enhancing the applicability of the lane departure warning system.

研究显示,车辆行驶的安全性受人、车、环境等因素的综合影响,93.12%的道路交通事故由驾驶员操作不规范导致汽车偏离车道引起,而大雾、雨雪等不良天气加剧了高速公路事故严重性[1]。汽车预警系统[2]作为高级驾驶辅助系统的重要组成部分,可有效减少交通事故的发生。
在雾天驾驶时,低能见度使驾驶员获取与横向控制相关的道路纹理信息较少,从而增加了汽车雾天行驶的风险[3]。为此,Das等[4]采用有序逻辑回归方法分析雾天自然驾驶数据,发现雾天气条件下车道保持能力降低,但传统预警模型使用固定阈值,无法适应驾驶员的驾驶习惯差异[5]。丁洁云[6]针对不同驾驶员提出动态期望驾驶区间的概念,通过设计自适应调整算法,使动态期望驾驶区间更加符合驾驶员自然驾驶行为。胡满江等[7]基于驾驶员自然驾驶行为和人机交互行为数据库,提出自适应调节的动态期望驾驶区间与车道虚拟边界。
驾驶风格对车道偏离预警系统影响显著[8],为了探究不同驾驶风格和能见度下的车道偏离情况,本文使用SILAB软件采集浓雾、薄雾和晴朗路段数据,采用模糊C均值(Fuzzy C-Means,FCM)聚类算法进行聚类分析,利用径向基函数神经网络(Radial Basis Function Neural Network,RBFNN)对驾驶员风格进行离线识别。根据模糊推理规则设计自适应车道偏离预警模型,同时,通过模拟器在环试验验证本文方案的有效性。
本文使用高保真六自由度驾驶模拟系统,如图1所示,该系统包括六自由度运动平台、基于大众轿车的驾驶舱集成、高性能工作站和180°环幕等模块。其中,基于实车驾驶座舱及六自由度运动平台,可实现车辆的物理动态仿真(变道、颠簸等),同时提供真实交通环境的3D立体音效、模拟各种道路交通环境,包括雨、雪等不良天气场景,为驾驶员提供真实的驾驶体验,实现“人-车-路”交互。
2.2 数据集
按照国家标准[9],使用SILABCourse脚本语言设计试验场景,双向四车道高速公路全长为10 km,单车道宽3.75 m,中间隔离带宽2 m,设置不同的弯道和坡度模拟现实道路。道路交通状况为畅通,周围车辆以轿车为主。试验场景的能见度设置为50 m、200 m和1 000 m,分别对应浓雾环境、薄雾环境和晴朗环境,如图2所示。
本次试验共有94名被试者,其中男性74名、女性20名,年龄为21~50岁,均具有2年及以上驾驶经验。被试者在模拟的交通环境中,按照各自的驾驶习惯操作,使用SILAB软件的数据采集模块编写脚本,记录车辆经过浓雾、薄雾和晴朗路段的全过程数据,共采集282组。实时驾驶数据主要包括:行驶速度、横向加速度、纵向加速度、转向盘转角、横摆角、横摆角速度、偏离速度、跨道时间(TTLC)等,采样频率为10 Hz。
驾驶风格通常指驾驶人习惯性选择的驾驶方式,本文采用FCM对数据进行聚类分析[10],主要流程为:
a. 确定分类数c、隶属度权重指数m和迭代次数,确定初始化隶属度矩阵${U}_{ij}^{\left(0\right)}$
b. 根据${U}_{ij}^{\left(0\right)}$计算第l步的聚类中心C(l)

c. 修正隶属度矩阵${U}_{ij}^{(l-1)}$并计算目标函数值J(l)

d. 按照上述步骤不断迭代,J逐渐趋向最小值,当J不再变化或到达迭代次数时,停止迭代并输出隶属度矩阵U。对比各样本在3个类别中的隶属度,隶属度最大的类即为该样本的归属类别。
基于采集的驾驶模拟试验数据,选择能够表征驾驶员对车道偏离风险认知的横向位置偏差平均值X1和跨道时间平均值X2进行分析[11],得到初始化驾驶数据矩阵为:

本文聚类结果如图3所示,驾驶风格可分为3类,即c=3,常取隶属度权重指数m=2,经过不断迭代,当迭代次数为6时,目标函数不再变化,算法停止[12]
基于横向指标,按照驾驶风格将驾驶员分为3类,即激进型、一般型和谨慎型。谨慎型驾驶员倾向于在车道的中心位置行驶,TTLC相对较长,常保持相对稳定的车道位置和速度,更注重保持稳定性和安全性;一般型驾驶员倾向于选择车道的中心位置行驶,遵循常规的交通规则和速度限制。此时TTLC可能处于激进型和谨慎型之间,偶尔会偏离中心位置且车速多变,存在因超速而增加车道偏离的可能性;激进型驾驶员则倾向于选择车道的一侧位置并以较高的车速行驶,在面临车道偏离风险时,TTLC相对较短,与其他车辆接近/碰撞的风险较大。
根据聚类结果,94名被试者中激进型有19名、一般型有46名、谨慎型有29名。采用分割系数(Partition Coefficient,PC)和排列熵(Permutation Entropy,PE)评估聚类结果,当分割系数nPC越接近1,说明聚类效果越清晰、分类越明确;排列熵nPE越接近0,则表示聚类结果中的模糊性越小。经过计算,本文聚类结果nPC=0.867 9、nPE=0.310 5。因此,该聚类方法能够有效地识别并区分不同的数据簇,聚类效果较好。
以横向位置偏差yeTTLC为特征值,使用RBFNN对驾驶员风格进行离线识别,相较传统的反向传播(Back Propagation,BP)神经网络算法,RBFNN具有唯一最佳逼近性能和全局最优特性、输入和输出映射功能较强、训练速度快且分类效果好[13]。RBFNN为三层神经网络,包括输入层、隐层和输出层,其中,从输入层到隐层为非线性变换,从隐层到输出层为线性变换,网络结构如图4所示。
常见的径向基函数h为高斯径向基函数:

式中:ci为第i个神经元的中心点,σ为高斯核的宽度,‖xi-ci为样本点xi与中心点ci的欧式距离。
假定输入为d维向量x,输出为实数值,则RBF网络可定义为:

使用均方误差定义误差函数:

利用BP算法计算反向传播误差,通过梯度下降计算输出层的神经元线性权重、隐层神经元中心和隐层高斯核宽度分别为:

经过多轮迭代得到最优解,网络训练结束。
在RBFNN的驾驶风格识别任务中,输入为横向位置偏差平均值X1和跨道时间平均值X2,即$X={\left[\begin{array}{cc}{X}_{1}& {X}_{2}\end{array}\right]}^{T}$,输出为驾驶风格y;输入层、输出层的节点数分别为2和3,隐藏层节点数为9,即$H={\left[\begin{array}{ccc}{h}_{1}& \dots & {h}_{9}\end{array}\right]}^{T}$
本文使用RBFNN模型对94名驾驶员数据样本进行识别,用时10 ms。其中,激进型有17人,一般型有47人,谨慎型有30人。但识别结果中,激进型的2人被识别为一般型,一般型的2人被识别为谨慎型,谨慎型的1人被识别为一般型。针对激进型、一般型和谨慎型驾驶风格,所建立的驾驶风格识别模型识别的准确率分别为89.5%、95.7%和96.5%,驾驶风格识别模型整体精准度达到94.7%。
因此,可通过采集自车行驶参数值和车道信息获取特征值yeTTLC,再由驾驶风格识别模型进行在线识别任务。
基于TLC的车道偏离预警模型算法简单、预警时间长,能够为驾驶员预留较长的反应时间[14]。鉴于多数道路为直线型,路面存在侧面坡度及侧向风等干扰因素,驾驶员需不断调整转向盘,以保持车辆直线行驶。假设车辆行驶时转向盘转角恒定,车辆在直线道路的行驶轨迹如图5所示。
根据几何关系及运动规律,可计算车辆的偏离距离,即弧长AC为:

式中:R为车辆右轮轨迹曲线半径,α为弧长对应的弧度角。
通过车辆传感器能够获得车辆纵向速度v与横摆角速度ω,所以求取弧长AC的关键在于计算弧度角α。由于距离$\left|AB\right|=\frac{\left|AD\right|}{cos\theta }$,距离$\left|OB\right|=\left|OA\right|-\left|AB\right|=R-\frac{\left|AD\right|}{cos\theta }$,在△OCB中,利用三角形余弦定理可得$cos\alpha =\frac{{\left|OB\right|}^{2}+{\left|OC\right|}^{2}-{\left|BC\right|}^{2}}{2\bullet \left|OB\right|\bullet \left|OC\right|}$$cos\beta =\frac{{\left|OB\right|}^{2}+{\left|BC\right|}^{2}-{\left|OC\right|}^{2}}{2\bullet \left|OB\right|\bullet \left|BC\right|}$。所以由$BC=\sqrt{{R}^{2}-(\left|OB\right|\bullet \left|CO\right|)}-R\bullet sin\theta $计算弧长AC,并得出车辆的跨道时间${T}_{TLC}=\frac{\stackrel{̑}{AC}}{v}。$
设置偏离预警阈值t,当TTLC<t时,车辆即将发生车道偏离,系统发出偏离预警信号。固定的阈值无法满足复杂的天气和驾驶风格各异的驾驶员,因此,阈值的正确选择对于车道偏离系统的正常运行至关重要。
为了实现不同的驾驶风格和能见度输出合适的预警阈值,根据驾驶风格识别模型得到驾驶员的风格标签,将横向位置偏差ye和偏离速度Ve作为模糊控制器的输入,预警阈值t作为输出;考虑到车辆前轮距和车道宽度,将ye论域设定为[0 m,1.0 m];车辆以较小的偏航角偏离车道,所以将Ve的论域设定为[0 m/s,1.5 m/s]。
对于输出变量t,根据驾驶员TTLC数据,对不同能见度下激进型和谨慎型驾驶员的TTLC排序,以5百分位的数值作为阈值边界。在晴朗、薄雾、浓雾环境下,激进型驾驶员第5百分位的TTLC分别为0.7 s、0.9 s、1.2 s,谨慎型驾驶员第5百分位的TTLC值分别为1.2 s、1.9 s、2.2 s。将激进型的TTLC设为论域的下边界,谨慎型的TTLC设为论域的上边界,同时,阈值应大于驾驶员反应时间,常设置为t=0.5 s[15]。因此,晴朗的论域设定为[0.7 s,1.2 s]、薄雾的论域设定为[0.9 s,1.9 s]、浓雾的论域设定为[1.2 s,2.2 s]。
将偏离速度、横向位置偏差和预警阈值定义为模糊集合,输入模糊语言变量值为{S(Small),M(Medium),L(Large)},分别表示小、中、大;输出模糊语言变量值为{NS(Negative Small),MS(Medium-Small),M(Medium),ML(Medium-Large),NL(Negative Large)},分别表示较小、小、中、大、较大。根据驾驶模拟试验数据模糊推理规则,如表1所示,利用Matlab/Simulink搭建自适应车道偏离预警模型。
本文试验平台(见图6)由车辆动力学仿真模块、控制模块和动态驾驶舱3个主要部分组成,通过驾驶员操作形成闭环。
在设定的道路场景下,随机选择2名被试者操作驾驶模拟器。试验工况具体:道路测试场景为车道宽度3.75 m的单向三车道,以最恶劣和最常见的环境为例,分别设置浓雾和晴朗的道路环境,该环境下车辆分别以30 km/h和80 km/h的速度行驶。其中,被试者依照各自驾驶习惯,到达测试点后,被试者模拟车辆在道路中行驶时转向盘转角恒定,车辆以曲线轨迹向右偏离车道,试验结果如图7图8所示。
图7a可知,浓雾环境下,车辆发生偏离时,激进型驾驶员的车辆横向位置偏差更大,车辆更早靠近车道边界线,实时TTLC逐渐变小。当TTLC小于动态阈值时,车道偏离预警模型会向控制器发出偏离预警信号。由图7b可知,谨慎型驾驶员在2.4 s时,TTLC小于动态阈值,此时动态阈值为1.80 s,偏离信号在车辆压线前1.3 s发出。而激进型驾驶员在1.1 s时,TTLC开始小于动态阈值,此时动态阈值为1.77 s,偏离信号在车辆压线前1.1 s前发出。
在晴朗环境下,车辆前轮的轨迹见图8a。由于车辆偏离车道时速度较大,相较于浓雾环境,晴朗环境中模糊控制器的输出阈值较小。由图8b可知,谨慎型和激进型车辆分别在动态阈值为1.01 s和0.91 s时,车道偏离预警模型向控制器发出偏离预警信号。不同工况下验证结果对比如表2所示,结果表明:针对不同驾驶风格和能见度,该自适应车道偏离预警模型可以输出相应合适的预警阈值。
模拟因分心车辆逐渐偏离车道后,及时调整转向盘回到安全位置的工况,选取3名被试者分别在晴朗、薄雾、浓雾环境下进行试验,通过模型识别出该3名被试者的驾驶风格分别为谨慎型、谨慎型和激进型。考虑驾驶员的反应时间和执行机构的响应时间,根据文献[16],将传统车道偏离辅助系统的预警阈值设为2 s。试验结果如图9所示,整个行驶过程中车辆左、右车轮均未超出车道线。
由于驾驶分心,车辆不断靠近右车道线,实时TTLC不断减小,同时预警阈值也逐渐降低。在晴朗环境第1.3 s时,TTLC<2 s,固定阈值的TLC算法发出预警信号,而自适应车道偏离预警模型输出的动态阈值t<TTLC,未发出预警;在薄雾环境第2.3 s时,固定阈值的TLC算法发出预警信号,自适应车道偏离预警模型没有发出预警;在浓雾环境第1.2 s时,TTLC<2 s,固定阈值的TLC算法与自适应车道偏离预警模型同时发出预警信号。
当驾驶员调整转向盘返回车道中心时,由于转向盘转角较大,车辆迅速靠近左车道线,晴朗环境中,在第2.9 s时,固定阈值的TLC算法再次发出预警信号,而自适应车道偏离预警模型因车辆横向位置偏差较小,输出的动态阈值始终小于TTLC,未发出预警。
最后,车辆稳定行驶在车道内,偏离风险解除。如图10所示,在薄雾环境下,该驾驶员较为保守,横向位移较小,固定阈值的TLC算法和自适应车道偏离预警模型均未发出预警信号。在浓雾环境下,在第4.1 s时,固定阈值的TLC算法再次发出预警信号,而自适应车道偏离预警模型未发出预警。固定阈值的TLC算法在该情况中共误判5次,而自适应车道偏离预警模型仅误判1次。
固定阈值的TLC算法采用单一预设阈值触发预警时,常因未适配车辆动态特性及驾驶员行为差异,导致预警时机偏离实际安全需求。例如在高速公路长距离巡航时,若遇到驾驶风格稳健、习惯保持较宽安全车距的驾驶员,即便车辆短时间轻微偏移车道,系统可能触发警报,干扰驾驶员正常驾驶节奏,驾驶员极易视为错误报警,逐渐降低对系统的信任;而对于驾驶风格较激进、习惯快速变道的驾驶员,固定阈值算法可能在车辆即将压线时才发出预警,错过最佳修正时机,甚至引发事故。
自适应车道偏离预警模型根据道路环境和驾驶风格可以避免车辆偏离时预警过早的问题。同时,在车辆压线前安全时间发出信号,为驾驶员预留有充足时间进行车辆修正。驾驶风格越谨慎,偏离信号在车辆在压线前发出越早,驾驶员有更长的反应时间控制车辆修正,从而避免车辆跨车道事故发生。在低能见度环境下,在车辆压线前更早发出偏离信号,降低了雾天驾驶风险。
因此,本文模型能够对不同能见度下驾驶风格各异的驾驶员实现自适应预警,具有更高的精度和更低的误警率。
本文引入模糊算法,将模糊推理应用于车道偏离检测中,通过FCM和RBFNN相结合对驾驶员风格进行识别,在SILAB采集的282组数据中整体精准度达到94.7%。在此基础上设计的自适应车道偏离预警模型,能够根据不同驾驶风格和能见度条件输出合适的预警阈值,实现自适应预警,有效提升了驾驶安全性和舒适度。未来,可通过与车载单元协同计算,提高汽车的整体智能化水平。
