To stabilize mechanical property of automotive structural components made of 7-series extruded aluminum alloy, and enhance the finished product rate for subsequent deep processing, this study uses the 7108 extruded aluminum alloy profile of the structural part for new energy vehicles as the test material, conducts three stages of processing, including natural aging, pre-aging and pre-aging + artificial aging, and confirms the influence of the optimal pre-aging system and pre-aging of 7108 extruded aluminum alloy profile of automotive structural part on the mechanical properties and intergranular corrosion resistance of subsequent artificial aging. The results indicate that pre-aging can effectively control the increase in mechanical properties of 7108 aluminum alloy profiles under natural conditions, thereby improving the machinability of the product.

为稳定汽车用7系挤压铝合金结构件产品挤压态下的力学性能,提高后续深加工的成材率,采用某新能源汽车用结构件7108挤压铝合金型材作为试验用料,进行3个阶段处理,分别是自然时效、预时效及预时效+人工时效,并确认了适用于汽车用结构件7108挤压铝合金的最优预时效制度及预时效对后续人工时效后力学性能及晶间腐蚀性能的影响,结果表明:预时效可有效控制7108铝合金型材自然状态下的力学性能涨幅,提高产品可加工性能。

To stabilize mechanical property of automotive structural components made of 7-series extruded aluminum alloy, and enhance the finished product rate for subsequent deep processing, this study uses the 7108 extruded aluminum alloy profile of the structural part for new energy vehicles as the test material, conducts three stages of processing, including natural aging, pre-aging and pre-aging + artificial aging, and confirms the influence of the optimal pre-aging system and pre-aging of 7108 extruded aluminum alloy profile of automotive structural part on the mechanical properties and intergranular corrosion resistance of subsequent artificial aging. The results indicate that pre-aging can effectively control the increase in mechanical properties of 7108 aluminum alloy profiles under natural conditions, thereby improving the machinability of the product.

随着环境及能源问题日益突出,节能减排是未来汽车行业的发展方向,铝代替钢可有效减轻汽车质量,达到节约能源的目的,因此,汽车用结构件采用铝合金已得到国内外汽车主机厂的广泛认可[1-3]。汽车用结构件铝型材通常需要弯曲、冲压及拉铆接等深加工工序,而7系Al-Zn-Mg合金挤压成型后自然停放力学性能涨幅较大,导致成型性较差,影响深加工效果。为避免铝合金自然时效的不利影响,针对铝合金自然时效过程,提出了预时效概念[4-5]。目前,国内预时效制度的研究大多针对6系铝合金,对7系铝合金的预时效制度研究较少,因此,本文探究了一种预时效制度,抑制7108铝合金自然时效涨幅的效果,优化了汽车用结构件7108合金型材的加工性能。
以某新能源汽车用结构件挤压铝型材作为试验用料,合金成分满足EN-573 Aluminium and aluminium alloys-Chemical composition and form of wrought products-Part 3: Chemical composition and form of products中7108铝合金成分要求,在2 000 t卧式单动挤压机上进行挤压生产,模具采用蝶形组合模设计结构,铸锭渣含量满足GB/T 32186—2015《铝及铝合金铸锭纯净度检验方法》中的二级要求,并充分均匀化处理,7108合金成分如表1所示,挤压工艺参数如表2所示。
将挤压成型并在线淬火后的7108合金试验料样分3个阶段进行处理,分别是自然时效、预时效及预时效+人工时效,其中,预时效需型材在线挤压成型后的24 h内测试,将预时效之后的料样分别停放1~10天并测试力学性能,以评价预时效制度抑制自然时效性能涨幅的效果,确定适用于汽车用结构件7108挤压铝合金的最优预时效制度。然后,将经预时效的试验料样经双级人工时效处理,并进行力学性能测试,验证预时效是否会对终端人工时效的产品性能产生不利影响。最后,选取最优预时效制度+人工双级时效处理后的料样进行晶间腐蚀性能测试,为终端产品的综合性能分析提供参考依据,具体试验预时效处理及人工时效处理制度如表3所示。
采用日本岛津的电子拉力试验机(型号为AG-X,250 kN),按照GB/T 228.1—2021《金属材料 拉伸试验 第1部分:室温试验方法》对型材试样进行力学性能检测,拉伸试样夹持端宽度为20 mm,平行段长度为70 mm,拉伸段宽度为12.5 mm,拉伸速率为5 MPa/s。按照ISO 11846: 1995 Corrosion of metals and alloys-Determination of resistance to intergranular corrosion of solution heat-treatable aluminium alloys中的方法B对试验料样进行晶间腐蚀试验,先将试样进行预处理,在温度为50~60 ℃的NaOH溶液(质量分数为5%~10%)中浸泡2~5 min,再在浓HNO3溶液(密度为1.4 g/mL)中浸泡2 min,最后用水洗净,完成预处理后将试样在室温下浸泡24 h,浸泡溶液含有30 g/L的NaCl和10 mL±1 mL的浓盐酸(密度为1.19 g/mL),随后按照GB/T 3246.1—2024《变形铝及铝合金制品组织检验方法 第1部分:显微组织检验方法》处理试样并采用光学显微镜高倍观察腐蚀深度。
试验材料经挤压成型和在线淬火后,室温停放1~10天后的力学结果如表4所示。
表4可知:自然时效停放10天,力学性能呈递增趋势,屈服强度提高66 MPa,涨幅约为40%;停放前5天,屈服强度提高42 MPa,涨幅约为25%。汽车用结构件7108挤压铝合金型材,自然停放涨幅较大,原因为7108铝合金属于高合金化硬质铝合金,淬火敏感性较高,高温固溶并快速冷却后,基体中固定了大量空位,在高浓度空位的驱动下,过饱和固溶体迅速析出溶质团簇,导致自然停放状态力学性能迅速提高,对后期型材深加工工艺的稳定性产生了不利影响,所以研究一种预时效制度抑制自然停放涨幅效果势在必行。
试验料样经低温预时效60 ℃×1 h、60 ℃×2 h、60 ℃×3 h、80 ℃×1 h、80 ℃×2 h、80 ℃×3 h处理后,停放1~10天的力学性能结果如图1a图1b所示;经中温预时效100 ℃×1 h、100 ℃×2 h、100 ℃×3 h处理后停放1~10天的力学性能结果如图1c所示;经高温预时效120 ℃×1 h、120 ℃×2 h、120 ℃×3 h处理后停放1~10天的力学性能结果如图1d所示。
图1可知,随着预时效温度的升高及保温时间的延长,力学性能逐渐升高。试验料经中、高温预时效制度处理后停放1~10天,力学性能无明显变化,呈现平稳态势,可有效抑制自然停放涨幅。而低温预时效制度对试验料自然停放涨幅的抑制能力较中、高温预时效低,停放10天后,屈服强度涨幅约为15%,抗拉强度涨幅约为12.5%,但均优于未预时效处理的料样。
以上结果的原因为7108挤压成型后的铝合金经预时效后,基体中会优先析出一部分溶质团簇,形成早期的原子团簇,即早期β"相,此时,铝合金固溶体中的过饱和程度有所降低,进而在后期停放过程中,第二相的析出动力减弱,表现出比自然时效更稳定的增长趋势。低温预时效阶段,过饱和固溶体中的溶质析出较少,溶质原子的析出动力没有完全释放,在后期停放过程中会有小幅提升,随着时效温度的升高及保温时间的延长,第二相析出形成的原子团簇会更加密集,浓度更高,从而使固溶体过饱和程度更低,后期力学性能会更加稳定。因此,高温预时效可使7108挤压铝合金型材性能更加稳定,但汽车用结构件产品均需后期深加工,如冲压、弯曲及铆接等,预时效温度较高会使型材初始力学性能偏高,塑性及韧性降低,后期深加工易造成裂纹、橘皮等质量缺陷。
综上所述,鉴于汽车用结构件的特定属性,中温预时效制度即100 ℃×3 h为适用于汽车用结构件7108挤压铝合金的最优预时效制度。
汽车用结构件铝合金制品通常经深加工制备为总成产品后需经人工时效,使产品具有较优的力学性能,但汽车用结构件7系挤压铝合金产品经预时效后,是否对最终人工时效后的力学性能产生影响的研究较少,因此,对7108挤压铝合金制品经预时效+人工时效后的力学性能进行试验,结果如表5所示。
表5可知,未预时效及经低、中、高温预时效试验料样再经双级人工时效后,力学性能无明显变化,说明预时效对终端人工时效后的力学性能无明显影响。分析其原因为在预时效阶段,过饱和固溶体中溶质原子析出形成的原子团簇或初始吉尼尔·普雷斯顿(Guinier Preston,GP)区仅为少量的第二相析出,在双级人工时效阶段,先期析出的溶质团簇经历回溶再析出的过程,从而抵消预时效第二相的析出过程,对最终人工时效未产生较大的影响。
7108合金属于Al-Zn-Mg系铝合金,主要强化相为MgZn2相,电极电位较低,与基体极易产生电极电位差,降低材料耐腐蚀性能,因此,大部分主机厂对7系铝合金制品均有晶间腐蚀性能要求,图2为未预时效+人工时效及预时效(100 ℃×3 h)+人工时效处理后的晶间腐蚀高倍照片,人工时效制度为105 ℃×8 h+175 ℃×7 h。
图2可知,未预时效经人工时效后的晶间腐蚀深度平均值为148.68 μm,而预时效(100 ℃×3 h)+人工时效(105 ℃×8 h+175 ℃×7 h)处理后的7108合金型材晶间腐蚀平均深度为38.41 μm,因此,经预时效处理后的试样耐腐蚀性能优于未经预时效处理的试样。原因为经预时效处理后,铝基体中会形成更加弥散且尺寸较小的GP区,再经人工时效后,第二相会依附于弥散细小的GP区作为析出核心,最终析出相分布会更加均匀,第二相与基体的电位差随之减小且呈不连续分布,不会形成连续成片的腐蚀斑点。然而,未经预时效处理的试样,析出的第二相分散程度不如预时效处理的料样,且因为聚集导致电极电位差较大,所以形成更为严重的腐蚀斑点[6-7]
a. 中温预时效制度即100 ℃×3 h为适用于汽车用结构件7108挤压铝合金的较优预时效制度;
b. 预时效对人工时效后的7108挤压铝合金制品力学性能无明显影响;
c. 经预时效处理后的7108挤压铝合金制品耐腐蚀性能优于未经预时效处理的产品。
