To ensure the purity during the aluminum alloy alloying process, it is necessary to control the impurity content in primary alloy ingots. The contents of silicon, iron, copper, aluminum, manganese, and nickel impurities in primary magnesium ingots are determined using Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-AES) and X-Ray Fluorescence spectrometry (XRF). For ICP-AES, samples are dissolved with hydrogen peroxide-hydrochloric acid, and the spectral lines are optimized along with the matrix-matching method, achieving a detection limit of 0.000 01%~0.000 27%, a spike recovery rate of 92%~102%, and a repeatability RSD of <2.3%. For XRF, the optimal analysis conditions are determined, with a detection range of 0.000 1%~0.100 0% and a repeatability RSD of ≤3.1%. The results indicate that both methods exhibit good accuracy and repeatability, with ICP-AES offering higher sensitivity, while XRF is more suitable for rapid and non-destructive testing.

为保证铝合金合金化过程中的纯净度,需控制原生合金铸锭中的杂质含量。采用电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法(ICP-AES)与X射线荧光光谱法(XRF)测定原生镁锭中硅、铁、铜、铝、锰、镍杂质的含量。ICP-AES通过过氧化氢-盐酸溶解样品,优化谱线及基体匹配法,检出限达0.000 01%~0.000 27%,加标回收率为92%~102%,重复性RSD<2.3%。采用XRF确定最佳分析条件,检测范围为0.000 1%~0.100 0%,重复性RSD≤3.1%。结果表明,2种方法均具有良好的准确性与重复性,其中ICP-AES灵敏度更优,XRF适合快速无损检测。

To ensure the purity during the aluminum alloy alloying process, it is necessary to control the impurity content in primary alloy ingots. The contents of silicon, iron, copper, aluminum, manganese, and nickel impurities in primary magnesium ingots are determined using Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-AES) and X-Ray Fluorescence spectrometry (XRF). For ICP-AES, samples are dissolved with hydrogen peroxide-hydrochloric acid, and the spectral lines are optimized along with the matrix-matching method, achieving a detection limit of 0.000 01%~0.000 27%, a spike recovery rate of 92%~102%, and a repeatability RSD of <2.3%. For XRF, the optimal analysis conditions are determined, with a detection range of 0.000 1%~0.100 0% and a repeatability RSD of ≤3.1%. The results indicate that both methods exhibit good accuracy and repeatability, with ICP-AES offering higher sensitivity, while XRF is more suitable for rapid and non-destructive testing.

镁作为20世纪兴起的新型轻质耐蚀金属材料[1],在汽车制造、轻工、冶金、化工、电子及仪表等行业均有广泛应用[2]。镁是密度最小的实用金属,其密度约为铝的2/3、铁的1/4。凭借低密度、高比强度及良好化学稳定性等特性,铝镁合金及镁模铸件在工业领域备受关注。镁最大的应用领域是作为铝合金添加元素,提高铝合金压铸件的性能,特别是防腐蚀性能[3]。在铝合金冶炼过程中,为提高材料性能,通常需加入镁及其他合金化元素[4]。因此,精确测定原生镁锭的杂质含量,对保障铝合金熔铸质量尤为重要。GB/T 13748.20—2024中规定了电感耦合等离子体发射光谱法测定镁及镁合金元素含量,但未涉及硅元素的测定方法,本文通过试验,建立可同时测定硅及其他元素的分析方法,并与X射线荧光光谱法进行比对,实现原生镁锭中硅、铁、铜、铝、锰、镍等杂质元素含量的准确测定。
本试验采用以下分析仪器开展试验:
a.电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱仪(Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometer,ICP-AES):Prodigy 7型全谱直读等离子体发射光谱仪,主要参数设定为射频功率1.1 kW、冷却气流量18 L/min、辅助气流量0.5 L/min、雾化气压强0.234 MPa,进样蠕动泵转速25 r/min,光谱积分时间20 s。
b.X射线荧光光谱仪(X-Ray Fluorescence spectrometer,XRF):XRF-1800型波长色散光谱仪,配置铑靶X光管,管电压40 kV,管电流80 mA,采用超尖锐晶体分光系统。
试验主要使用试剂包括:
a.单元素标准溶液:硅(质量浓度=500 μg/mL)、铁(质量浓度=1 000 μg/mL)、铜(质量浓度=1 000 μg/mL)、铝(质量浓度=1 000 μg/mL)、锰(质量浓度=1 000 μg/mL)、镍(质量浓度=1 000 μg/mL),均以5%盐酸为介质配制。
b.酸类试剂:优级纯盐酸(ρHCl=1.19 g/mL),过氧化氢(${\rho }_{{H}_{2}{O}_{2}}$=1.10 g/mL)。
c.基体材料:高纯镁(质量分数≥99.999%)。
d.标准样品:原生镁锭标准样品。
采用钻孔法或车削法进行样品采集,具体操作流程为:
a.加工前去除试样表面附着的油污及氧化皮,确保取样区域金属基体充分暴露。
b.以螺旋进给方式获取连续碎屑,控制屑片厚度≥0.5 mm,单次取样量≥4倍分析需求量。
c.试样称量前充分混匀。
建立3种酸解体系进行方法比对,具体操作如下:
a.过氧化氢-盐酸协同分解体系:称取0.50 g试样置于200 mL烧杯中,依次加入适量的H2O2和20 mL HCl(1+1),盖上表面皿,待剧烈反应停止后,低温水浴加热至完全溶解,煮沸驱除残余氧化剂,冷却至室温,移入100 mL容量瓶定容,混匀备用。
b.盐酸-过氧化氢顺序加样体系:称取0.50 g试样置于200 mL烧杯中,加入20 mL HCl(1+1),盖上表面皿,待剧烈反应平缓后,加入适量的H2O2,低温加热至完全溶解,煮沸驱除残余氧化剂,冷却至室温,移入100 mL容量瓶中定容,混匀备用。
c.王水分解体系:称取0.50 g试样置于200 mL烧杯中,加入20 mL王水(1+1),盖上表面皿,待剧烈反应平缓后,低温加热至完全溶解,冷却后定容至100 mL。
采用基体匹配法消除光谱干扰,具体步骤为:
a.制备镁基体溶液:称取2.00 g高纯镁,按3.1.2节的a体系完全溶解,定容至100 mL作为基体储备液。
b.系列标准溶液配制:分别移取0.0 mL、0.5 mL、1.5 mL、2.5 mL Si标准溶液(500 μg/mL)及相应体积其他元素标准溶液至100 mL容量瓶中,加入10 mL基体储备液,用5% HCl定容,各元素质量浓度梯度分别为Si(0 μg/mL 、0.5 μg/mL、1.5 μg/mL、2.5 μg/mL)、Fe(0 μg/mL、0.5 μg/mL、0.75 μg/mL、1.0 μg/mL)、Cu(0 μg/mL、0.5 μg/mL、0.75 μg/mL、1.0 μg/mL)、Al(0 μg/mL、0.5 μg/mL、1.0 μg/mL、2.0 μg/mL)、Mn(0 μg/mL、1.0 μg/mL、1.5 μg/mL、2.0 μg/mL)、Ni(0 μg/mL、0.5 μg/mL、0.6 μg/mL、0.7 μg/mL)。
采用金刚石刀具和端面车削法加工试样,去除试样表面厚度为0.5 mm的氧化皮,然后用脱脂棉蘸取酒精擦拭样品表面,去除试样表面的油污及杂质,再用吸耳球吹扫表面。
采用经验系数法进行基体效应校正,主要参数设置如表1所示。
电感耦合等离子体(Inductively Coupled Plasma,ICP)具有优异的元素激发能力,可同步激发出多条元素特征谱线,然而谱线重叠是ICP光谱法的主要干扰源之一。为优化分析性能,本文优先选择信噪比高且谱线重叠干扰较少的特征谱线。经筛选,确定Si(251.611 nm)、Fe(259.940 nm)、Cu(324.754 nm)、Al(396.152 nm)、Mn(251.611 nm)、Ni(231.604 nm)为分析谱线。
a.基体干扰是ICP光谱法中主要的元素干扰之一,基体含量越高,背景强度越大,基体干扰越严重。为确定镁基体对待测元素的基体干扰,进行如下试验设计:各元素配制5份1 μg/mL的混合标准溶液(Si、Fe、Cu、Al、Mn、Ni),各元素的混合标准溶液中1份不加镁基体,另外4份分别添加2 μg/mL、10 μg/mL、100 μg/mL、1 000 μg/mL的镁基体溶液。在仪器选定的条件下分析,分别对比加入镁基体溶液的光强Ii与不加镁基体溶液的光强I0,计算Ii/I0比值来评估基体效应,结果如表2所示。
表2可知,镁基体对Si、Fe、Cu的信号具有增强效应,对Al、Ni表现为抑制效应,而对Mn的影响较弱。为消除基体干扰,采用基体匹配法,确保标准曲线溶液中镁基体浓度与待测试样一致。
b.在镁基体存在的条件下,通过单元素干扰试验评估共存元素间的相互影响,以单一元素为干扰源配置混合溶液,其浓度为其他共存元素的10倍,考察其对其他元素信号强度的影响。各待测元素分别作为干扰元素干扰其他元素,通过对比不加干扰元素的标准溶液强度值I0与加干扰元素后的强度值Ie,计算Ie/ I0比值来评估干扰元素对其他元素的影响,结果如表3所示。
表3可知,Si、Fe、Cu、Al、Mn、Ni间相互干扰程度较低(Ie/I0比值接近1),表明在选定浓度范围内可实现多元素同步分析。
分别按照3.1.2节中3种样品前处理方案处理试样,各元素溶解效果如表4所示。
对比3种前处理方法对样品溶解效果的影响,过氧化氢+盐酸(1+1)(a方法)对Si元素的溶解效率显著优于其他方法,且其他元素的实测值与参考值吻合度更高。因此,选定a方法作为镁锭样品的前处理方案。
配制系列混合标准溶液,建立校准曲线,其线性回归方程为y=194 107x+28 790,各元素检出限、分析范围及线性相关系数(R²)如表5所示,均满足痕量元素分析要求。
对混合标准溶液Si(质量分数=0.01%)、Fe(质量分数=0.02%)、Cu(质量分数=0.01%)、Al(质量分数=0.01%)、Mn(质量分数=0.02%)、Ni(质量分数=0.01%)进行11次重复测定,计算相对标准偏差(Relative Standard Deviation,RSD)以评估精密度,结果如表6所示。
表6可知,各元素的RSD均<2%,重复性良好。
分析原生镁锭标准样品,将实测结果与标准样品参考值进行对比,验证曲线准确性。同时,在样品中加入质量分数为0.01%的被测元素,测定其加标回收率,结果如表7所示。
表7可知,各元素的实测值与标准值的绝对差值均<0.000 8%,准确性良好,且加标回收率在92%~102%范围内,方法准确可靠。
用X射线荧光光谱仪对原生镁锭标准样品连续测定11次,计算RSD以评估方法重复性,测试结果如表8所示。
表8中可得出各元素RSD均<4%。
用X射线荧光光谱仪分析原生镁锭标准样品,通过对比XRF实测值与标准样品参考值验证方法准确度,结果如表9所示。
表9可得,绝对差值均<0.001%,准确性良好,XRF可用于镁锭中杂质元素的快速筛查。
a. ICP-AES法采用过氧化氢-盐酸(1+1)体系进行样品前处理,结合基体匹配策略,有效消除了镁基体对Si、Fe、Cu等元素的干扰。该方法表现出优异的定量性能,各元素检出限低至0.000 01%~0.000 27%,R²>0.999 5,加标回收率在92%~102%范围内,11次重复测定的RSD<2%。试验数据表明,ICP-AES可满足镁合金中痕量杂质元素的高精度分析需求。
b. X射线荧光光谱法在保持良好重复性(RSD<4%)与准确度(绝对偏差<0.001%)的同时,无需复杂前处理,检测成本降低。该方法适用于生产现场的快速质量控制,适合大规模样品的常规筛查。
c. ICP光谱化学分析法精确度高,分析范围可控,有针对性,但取样及前处理过程复杂、耗时长、成本高,适合分析有异议样品的化学成分。对于日常质量控制,推荐以XRF法进行初筛,对异常结果采用ICP-AES复验。
