Due to the variety of automotive interior materials, complex composition, and up to hundreds of kinds of odor substances inside each car, odor pollution easily occurs inside the car. In order to improve interior air quality, this study referred to the existing domestic and foreign research on the application of colorimetric technology, proposed an interior odor detection method based on colorimetric sensor array technology, and made colorimetric analysis on the interior materials widely used in the vehicle, accurately identified the odor intensity, odor type and odor pleasure of interior materials samples. In this study, colorimetric sensor array was applied for the first time in the objective characterization of vehicle odor, which can provide data support for odor control in the automobile industry.

汽车内饰材料种类繁多、成分复杂,单车型气味物质多达上百种,极易造成车内异味污染,为提高车内空气质量,参考国内外现有的比色技术应用研究,提出了基于比色传感阵列技术的车内气味检测方法,并对整车中应用较多的内饰材料进行比色分析,准确识别了内饰材料样品的气味强度、气味类型和气味愉悦度。首次将比色传感阵列应用于车内气味客观表征中,可为汽车气味管控提供数据支持。

汽车内饰材料种类繁多、成分复杂,单车型气味物质多达上百种,极易造成车内异味污染,为提高车内空气质量,参考国内外现有的比色技术应用研究,提出了基于比色传感阵列技术的车内气味检测方法,并对整车中应用较多的内饰材料进行比色分析,准确识别了内饰材料样品的气味强度、气味类型和气味愉悦度。首次将比色传感阵列应用于车内气味客观表征中,可为汽车气味管控提供数据支持。

Due to the variety of automotive interior materials, complex composition, and up to hundreds of kinds of odor substances inside each car, odor pollution easily occurs inside the car. In order to improve interior air quality, this study referred to the existing domestic and foreign research on the application of colorimetric technology, proposed an interior odor detection method based on colorimetric sensor array technology, and made colorimetric analysis on the interior materials widely used in the vehicle, accurately identified the odor intensity, odor type and odor pleasure of interior materials samples. In this study, colorimetric sensor array was applied for the first time in the objective characterization of vehicle odor, which can provide data support for odor control in the automobile industry.

随着我国汽车产业的飞速发展和消费升级,车内空气质量成为衡量汽车座舱品质的重要指标,汽车座舱作为消费者的重要活动空间,对用户的身心健康有直接影响[1]。汽车内饰材料种类繁多、成分复杂,是车内异味污染的主要来源[2]。近年来,我国消费者对车内气味的投诉量维持在较高水平,对相关汽车品牌造成了一定的负面影响。
车内气味来源的主要内饰材料包括发泡、塑料、皮革、橡胶和辅料等,尤其在夏季暴晒的高温环境中会散发出更多的挥发性有机物,加重车内异味[3]。目前,汽车行业对车内气味性能的表征方法以专业气味评价员的主观评价为主,易受评价员个人状态影响,且无法满足大量气味检测和管控工作的要求[4]。本文以比色传感阵列技术为基础,开发了比色传感阵列电子鼻及配套设备,通过表征材料样品挥发出的气体与比色试纸相接触发生化学反应后产生的颜色变化,实现对气味的客观评价。
近年来,气味客观表征技术快速发展,电子鼻等人工嗅觉系统相继问世,并出现了成熟的商业化产品,在医药、食品、环境等领域已得到应用。电子鼻的工作流程主要包括气敏传感器阵列信号采集、信号预处理和模式识别组成,如图1所示,传感器将气味的化学信号转换为电信号,多个传感器对一种气味的响应可以构成传感器阵列对该气味的响应谱[5]。为实现对气味的定性或定量分析,必须将传感器的信号进行适当的预处理后采用合适的模式识别分析方法对其进行处理。电子鼻灵敏度高、可靠性强、可重复,有望在汽车行业得到广泛应用。
比色传感阵列技术利用金属卟啉络合物等物质含有的金属离子和气味分子之间的键合作用来识别气味分子,特定物质与气味分子接触后会吸收光谱,特性发生改变,呈现出颜色变化。这些物质与不同的气味分子结合后引起的颜色变化不同(图2),故可以表征单个气味分子的气味特征信息[6]。因此,通过选取不同的特定物质组成比色传感阵列,可用于检测复杂的挥发性气体混合物。
本研究基于上述原理设计并制备出35阵列比色传感试纸(图3),配合比色传感阵列电子鼻可实现对车内空气中常见的烷、烯、醇、醛、酮、酸、醚、酯、胺、芳类化合物(单一组分或混合物)×10-9浓度级别的检测。图4是某气体样品与比色传感阵列试纸反应前、后对比结果,气体中的物质组分与试纸反应,使得不同阵列点位呈现不同的颜色变化。
参考汽车行业内饰材料气味评价相关标准VDA 270 Determination of the odour characteristics of trim materials in motor vehicles[7],制备3份平行的材料样品气体,利用35阵列比色传感试纸及比色传感阵列电子鼻对样品进行比色分析,基于比色传感阵列电子鼻内置的气味识别模型获得包含气味强度、气味类型及气味愉悦度在内的气味客观表征结果。
比色传感阵列电子鼻内置了K最近邻(K-Nearest Neighbor,KNN)、支持向量机(Support Vector Machine,SVM)、随机森林、线性回归、多项式回归和逻辑回归6种机器学习算法作为气味识别模型。以模型拒识率、误识率、交叉验证识别率等作为评价指标筛选适用于各气味性能指标(气味强度、气味类型、气味愉悦度)的气味识别算法,确定最优的模型参数[8]
取4种聚丙烯(Polypropylene,PP)发泡材料作为试验样品,形貌如图5所示,试验步骤如下:
a. 将4种PP发泡样品裁剪成面积为25 cm2、厚度为1 cm的样品,每种样品分别制备3个平行样;
b. 将裁剪完成的样品放入容量为250 mL的棕色玻璃集气瓶中,如图6所示,比色传感试纸用磁扣固定在集气瓶瓶盖内部;
c. 将装有样品的集气瓶放入金属浴加热装置中80 ℃恒温加热2 h,如图7所示,保证样品挥发出的气体与比色传感试纸充分反应;
d. 取出反应后比色传感试纸放入特制的试纸固定装置中,利用比色传感阵列电子鼻“单点拍照选图检测”模式进行比色分析,如图8所示;
e. 由气味评价团队成员对上述样品的气味强度、气味类型及气味愉悦度进行主观评价;
f. 重复步骤a~e,获取多组样品的检测数据,建立PP发泡样品的气味识别模型;
g. 将待测样品重复步骤a~d后,基于气味识别模型计算得到该样品气味强度、气味类型和气味愉悦度的客观表征数据。
表1为4种发泡与其平行样的比色反应强度数据,分析数据可得:发泡1#的比色反应强度为275±12,发泡2#的比色反应强度为137±10,发泡3#的比色反应强度为361±20,发泡4#的比色反应强度为383±10,不同PP发泡的比色反应强度相差较大。
图9是比色传感阵列分析得到的PP发泡样品比色反应强度雷达图,可以看出:4种PP发泡样品的各阵列点位比色反应强度雷达图分布形状各不相同,发泡1#响应最强点位为34,发泡2#响应最强点位为28,发泡3#响应最强点位为3,发泡4#响应最强点位为31,说明不同PP发泡挥发产生的气体组成成分差异很大。
表2~表4为4种PP发泡样品的气味性能指标客观表征结果,分析如下:
a. 由表2可知,发泡2#的气味强度等级客观表征结果为2.1级,与气味主观强度等级偏差0.1级,其余样品的气味强度等级全部被准确识别;
b. 由表3可知,所有样品的气味类型全部被准确识别;
c. 由表4可知,所有样品的气味愉悦度等级全部被准确识别。
使用比色传感阵列先后对塑料、皮革、橡胶、粘合剂等26种内饰材料样品进行比色检测。气味强度主客观检测结果对比如图10所示,气味愉悦度的主客观检测结果对比如图11所示。由结果分析可知:所有样品的气味强度等级主客观检测结果偏差为±0.3级;有24种材料的气味类型被准确识别,准确度为92.3%;所有样品的气味愉悦度等级偏差为±1级。表明比色传感阵列对材料样品气味水平预测准确,测试方法可靠,可在汽车行业内饰材料气味管控方面得到进一步应用。
本文利用比色传感阵列技术,对发泡、塑料、皮革、橡胶、粘合剂等常用的车用内饰材料进行气味比色分析,得到气味强度等级、气味类型、气味愉悦度的客观检测数据,与主观评价结果差异极小,表明比色传感阵列在汽车行业气味客观表征中应用效果良好。比色技术应用于汽车行业的车内气味检测中,克服了传统主观气味评价方法易受外界影响,人力成本高的缺点,在节约成本的同时,可提高气味评价的准确性和科学性。本文以较低成本完成数十种主要气体的特异性浓度检测,从而获得可大规模行业应用的客观化气味强度、类型、愉悦度多维表征技术,还可将气味等级、气味类型、气味愉悦度的评价结果由孤立的单点数值变为较全面的概率分布。
