The wire harness tape made of glue & base is the major part of the wire harness. In order to learn about the performance of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) on different tape glues, the automobile standards of odor grade evaluation & VOC were applied on the experiment, tapes with different kinds of glues were tested and compared. The test results show that the acrylic ester glue tape is obviously better than the rubber glue one in the VOC content, meanwhile because of other superior performance, it provides guideline for the development of wiring harness tapes.

车内线束的表面材料主要构成为胶带,线束胶带由基材和胶水构成。为了解不同类型胶水对胶带的挥发性有机物含量(VOC)的影响,判断使用不同类型胶水的胶带挥发性表现的好坏,利用某企业标准(气味等级评价和VOC试验标准),对使用不同种类胶水的胶带进行对比测试,结果表明,使用丙烯酸酯类胶水的胶带在挥发性有机物质含量表现上明显优于使用橡胶类胶水的胶带,同时它的其他性能优良,为线束胶带的开发提供了指导性意见。

The wire harness tape made of glue & base is the major part of the wire harness. In order to learn about the performance of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) on different tape glues, the automobile standards of odor grade evaluation & VOC were applied on the experiment, tapes with different kinds of glues were tested and compared. The test results show that the acrylic ester glue tape is obviously better than the rubber glue one in the VOC content, meanwhile because of other superior performance, it provides guideline for the development of wiring harness tapes.

随着我国汽车产业的高速发展和人民生活质量的提高,汽车成为很多人生活中必不可少的交通工具。车内空气质量同样引起了社会和消费者的广泛关注。车内空气质量主要是指车内挥发性有害物质的浓度高低,这些挥发性有害物质一旦超过浓度限值,会对人体健康产生有害影响,比如苯、甲醛有致癌性,乙醛有毒性。我国自2004年开始逐步开展车内空气质量管控工作,环保部先后发布了HJT 400—2007《车内挥发性有机物和醛酮类物质采样测定方法》和GB/T 27630—2011《乘用车内空气质量评价指南》,规定了整车挥发性有机物质检测方法和8种主要有害物质(甲醛、乙醛、丙烯醛、苯、甲苯、乙苯、二甲苯、苯乙烯)的限值要求。除此之外,在中国J.D.power 2015年~2017年连续3年发布的报告中可以看到,“车内有令人不愉快的气味”是消费者抱怨最多的问题。所以,从国家管控、市场关注以及消费者反馈来看,车内空气质量的管控和环保性颇为重要。
挥发物浓度的贡献不仅来自肉眼可看的仪表板、副仪表板、座椅、顶棚、地毯以及行李舱等零部件,还有零部件线束。汽车的各个部位都存在的线束,也是汽车传导电流信号的重要组成部分,特别是新能源和混动车型,车用线束分为高压线束和低压线束,与乘客舱有连接的一般是低压线束,存在于底板、顶棚、车门内饰板、仪表板、副仪表板、座椅等零部件内,用量根据车辆大小,设计功能的不同而不同,单件质量为10~20 kg。而汽车线束的材料主要是由导线、保护层(一般是胶带)和结构端子组成,这些非金属材料都存在一定的挥发性有机物质含量,而胶带存在于线束表面,面积大且是直接接触车内空间的非金属材料。所以从线束的用量之大、分布范围之广可以看出,线束也是车内空气质量挥发性有机物质的重要来源之一,而其中胶带是本文研究的对象。
胶带是线束的重要组成部分,其挥发性有机物质的表现是线束对于车内挥发性有机物质贡献大小起着决定性的作用。
线束是传输电信号和能量的媒介,是构建汽车电路的主体。线束由导线、连接器、端子、卡钉、保护覆盖物、支架、护套、熔断丝盒(熔断丝和继电器)和热缩管等组成[1]
胶带的作用是对线束分支进行约束,将分散的线束聚拢在一起,防止线束松垮。因为现在多数线束的设计较为简洁,没有单独的护套或者保护结构,所以胶带同时也起到了保护导线的作用。按照基材材质,市面上胶带分为薄膜胶带、织物胶带、聚酯胶带和纸胶带,其中应用最多是薄膜和织物胶带,织物胶带一般用在特殊要求的耐磨降噪部位,其他部位一般使用薄膜胶带,而其中薄膜胶带最多的是聚氯乙烯(Polyvinyl Chloride,PVC)胶带。一辆汽车PVC胶带的使用量可达数百平方米,可见用量大覆盖范围广,PVC胶带是本文讨论的焦点。
选择汽车线束中用量广泛和具有代表意义的薄膜胶带进行气味试验和挥发性有机化合物(Volatile Organic Compounds,VOC)试验,对比材料来自4家不同线束供应商的6种不同牌号薄膜胶带,信息如表1所示,样品示例如图1所示,胶带剖面结构如图2所示。
气味试验样品胶带取样量的宽度为2 cm,长度为20 cm,VOC试验胶带取样量的面积为10 cm×20 cm,取样后样品如图3所示,样品均要求下线7天以内,取样过程无污染且密封包装送样。
车内空气质量主要从气味性等级和VOC 2个维度来进行评价。
气味性试验采用某企业标准《车内非金属部位及材料气味性试验方法》,此试验方法中气味性是指材料或者零部件在规定的温度和气候条件存放时释放出具有明显可察觉到的挥发性组分的特性。试验条件是采用1 L气味瓶,将样品放入气味瓶中,密闭瓶盖在70 ℃条件下加热24 h后,7名气味评价员(经过专业气味评价培训)进行嗅闻,评价结果为气味等级,气味等级范围为1.0~10.0级,最终结果是去掉最高和最低后的平均气味等级。气味试验评价分为干法和湿法,湿法模拟了高湿度环境气候。气味等级对应描述如表2所示。
研究中挥发性有机物质含量测定采用某企业标准《车内零部件挥发性有机物测定方法》,此试验方法中挥发性有机物质是指在通常压力条件下,沸点在50~260 ℃的有机化合物;总挥发性有机物质含量(Total Volatile Organic Compounds,TVOC)是指沸点在正己烷(C6)和正十六烷(C16)之间的挥发性有机物质总和;醛酮类物质指甲醛、乙醛、丙烯醛、丙酮、环己酮;此试验方法可以定量测试GB/T 27630—2011《乘用车内空气质量评价指南》中规定限值的8种有害物质,包括甲醛、乙醛、丙烯醛、苯、甲苯、乙苯、二甲苯、苯乙烯。将试验样品(图4)封装于Tedlar采样袋(选用体积为10 L)中,25 ℃环境下充入采样袋总体积50%的高纯氮气,在60 ℃加热2 h后,使用Tenax管和DNPH管采集样件挥发出来的有机化合物,分别用热脱附、气相色谱质谱联用仪(Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer,GC/MS)和高效液相色谱仪(High Performance Liquid Chromatography,HPLC)分析会发出的苯系物、TVOC以及醛酮类物质的含量,分析设备试验要求按照HJT 400—2007《车内挥发性有机物和醛酮类物质采样测定方法》中规定,分析设备如图5所示。
对6组样品按照标准方法进行了气味试验,1~6组样品干法气味试验等级分别为5.5级、5.0级、5.5级、5.9级、5.9级、5.5级;湿法气味结果分别为6.2级、5.5级、6.0级、6.0级、6.1级、6.0级,分别如表3表4所示。
从气味评价结果得出以下结论:
a. PE基材和PVC基材的气味方面表现相当,无明显差距;
b. 相同种类基材和胶水的胶带,不同供应商之间气味表现有差异;
c. 相同基材情况下,丙烯酸酯类胶水的胶带比橡胶类胶水的气味表现优异;
对6组样品按照标准方法进行了VOC试验,结果数据如表5所示,苯系类物质和TVOC数据在不同组别之间有较大差异。
挥发性有机物质含量表现以甲苯和TVOC数值为代表来分析,如图6图7所示。
从VOC试验结果得出以下结论:
a. PE基材和PVC基材的挥发性有机物质含量(特别是甲苯和TVOC)方面表现相当,无明显差距;
b. 相同种类基材和胶水的胶带,不同供应商之间挥发性有机物质含量(特别是甲苯和TVOC)表现有差异;
c. 相同基材情况下,丙烯酸酯类胶水的胶带比橡胶类胶水的挥发性有机物质含量(特别是甲苯和TVOC)表现优异。
经调查,胶带自带胶水中,橡胶类胶水的溶剂一般为甲苯,而丙烯酸酯类的胶水溶剂一般为水或者无溶剂。从原材料成分和试验数据都可以证明,在挥发性有机物质含量上,丙烯酸酯类胶水的胶带优于橡胶类胶水的胶带。
另外不同类型的胶带胶水的其他物性参数总结如表6所示。
综合挥发性有机物质含量表现和其他物性的综合表现和结合实际线束胶带的实际应用场景,车内线束薄膜胶带的胶水种类应该选择丙烯酸酯类型的胶水,考虑到挥发性有机物质对车内空气质量的贡献和对人体健康的伤害,建议线束胶带上不再使用橡胶类胶水。
车内空气质量一直是中国市场抱怨的主要问题[2],而车内空气质量主要从气味和挥发性物质来进行衡量,除了座椅、仪表板、顶棚等零部件,线束也是重要挥发性有机物质来源之一,而胶带作为汽车线束零部件的重要组成部分,对于挥发性质量起着至关重要的作用。本文从国家标准发展趋势,市场反馈和质量管控等角度深入分析了车内空气质量的重要性,并利用某汽车企业标准,对于市场上主流的线束薄膜胶带进行了挥发性质量的验证(气味和VOC),得出结论:在开发线束薄膜胶带时,在胶水选择上应使用丙烯酸酯类胶水,不再使用橡胶类胶水,既能够满足基本物性要求,又能够对环境友好,对用车人群的健康也是一大贡献。
