In order to optimize the torque fluctuation of the cross-axis universal joint steering system of a certain vehicle model,By extracting the coordinates of key hard points of the steering system in the CATIA three-dimensional digital model of this vehicle model, a simplified simulation model of the steering system is established by using ADAMS/View software.Under the condition of not changing the installation hard points of the steering system, the phase angle of the transmission shaft that can minimize the torque fluctuation of the steering system is obtained through simulation.The results of subjective evaluation and real vehicle verification show that the optimization result of simulation data is consistent with the theoretical calculation result, ensuring the minimum torque fluctuation of the steering system.

为实现某车型十字轴万向节转向系统力矩波动优化,通过提取该车型CATIA三维数模中的转向系统关键硬点坐标,利用ADAMS/View软件建立转向系统简化仿真模型,在不改变转向系统安装硬点的条件下,仿真获得了可使转向系统力矩波动最小的传动轴相位角,主观评价及实车验证结果表明,仿真数据优化结果与理论计算结果一致,保证了转向系统力矩波动最小。

为实现某车型十字轴万向节转向系统力矩波动优化,通过提取该车型CATIA三维数模中的转向系统关键硬点坐标,利用ADAMS/View软件建立转向系统简化仿真模型,在不改变转向系统安装硬点的条件下,仿真获得了可使转向系统力矩波动最小的传动轴相位角,主观评价及实车验证结果表明,仿真数据优化结果与理论计算结果一致,保证了转向系统力矩波动最小。

In order to optimize the torque fluctuation of the cross-axis universal joint steering system of a certain vehicle model,By extracting the coordinates of key hard points of the steering system in the CATIA three-dimensional digital model of this vehicle model, a simplified simulation model of the steering system is established by using ADAMS/View software.Under the condition of not changing the installation hard points of the steering system, the phase angle of the transmission shaft that can minimize the torque fluctuation of the steering system is obtained through simulation.The results of subjective evaluation and real vehicle verification show that the optimization result of simulation data is consistent with the theoretical calculation result, ensuring the minimum torque fluctuation of the steering system.

车辆转向时,转向系统中十字轴万向节产生的力矩波动会对操纵稳定性产生影响[1]。转向系统安装硬点确定后,该力矩波动只与中间轴相位角有关。某车型转向系统的驾驶性主观评价结果为力矩波动明显,但受成本和周期限制,转向系统安装硬点无法调整,只能通过调整相位角的方式进行优化[2]
本文基于该车型转向系统关键硬点坐标,利用ADAMS/View软件建立系统简化仿真模型,通过数据仿真获得传动轴最佳相位角,并按照仿真数据制作中间轴样件开展实车验证。
十字轴万向节两端拨叉平面之间的夹角称为相位角ψ,如图1所示[3]。最佳相位角可将转向管柱带中间轴总成引起的力矩波动降到最小。
图2所示,转向柱轴中心线与中间轴中心线形成平面Ⅰ,中间轴中心线与转向器输入轴中心线形成平面Ⅱ。平面Ⅰ上的直线Ⅰ围绕平面Ⅰ与平面Ⅱ的交线旋转,使直线Ⅰ落到平面Ⅱ内,形成的锐角即为相位角ψ,旋转方向(以形成锐角的方式旋转)为正,反之为负。
转向传动机构等效夹角的计算公式为[4]

式中:βe∈[0°,90°)为等效夹角,β1∈[0°,90°)为转向柱轴与转向传动轴间的夹角,β2∈[0°,90°)为转向传动轴与转向器输入轴间的夹角,α∈(-90°,90°)为转向柱轴和转向传动轴所在平面与转向传动轴和转向器所在平面之间的夹角,ψ∈[-90°,90°]为转向传动轴相位角。
根据瞬时功率相等的条件,转向器输入转矩为:
T2=T1(1-sin2βecos2θ)/cosβe
式中:T2为转向器输入转矩,T1为转向轴输入转矩,θ为转向轴转角。
由式(2)可得转向器的最大、最小输入转矩分别为:
T2max=T1/cosβe
T2min=T1(1-sin2βe)/cosβe=T1cosβe
由式(3)和式(4)可知,车辆转向力波动可描述为:
F(βe)=(T2max-T2min)/T1=1/cosβe-cosβe
对式(5)求导可得:
F(βe)/∂βe=sinβe/cos2βe+sinβe>0
由式(6)可知,F(βe)在[0°,90°)范围内为递增函数,即βe越小,车辆转向力矩波动F(βe)越小。
转向系统硬点确定后,β1β2α即确定,此时等效夹角βe只与中间轴相位角ψ有关。理论上,等效夹角为零时,转向系统没有力矩波动。因此,等效夹角越小,力矩波动越小[5]
提取本文车型CATIA三维数模中的14个关键硬点坐标,如表1所示[6]。在ADAMS/View软件中建立转向系统6个简化部件。在模型运动分析时,不考虑部件的变形及部件之间的摩擦力对机械系统运动的影响,所有部件之间的约束副及其数量如表2所示,仿真模型如图3所示。
计算可得系统的自由度为0,说明该模型具有确定的相对运动,可以按照牛顿定律进行动力学分析[7]。对该仿真模型输出端旋转副施加正弦波驱动,模型仿真时间设置为2 s,得到仿真曲线。
通过调整转向中间轴两端万向节半轴夹角,可以改变力矩波动情况(角速度波动及转角波动同理)。在模型仿真中,设置输入端(转向盘端)角速度为恒定值,输出端(与转向器连接的第三段轴)角速度为变量,尽量减小其波动。
改变仿真模型中十字轴两端的标记(Marker)点坐标值,调整中间轴相位角,找到转向系统力矩波动最小的某一区域(最小区域在α±5°范围内),再逐渐微调相位角,直至得到最优仿真结果[8]。由仿真结果可以看出,改变中间转向传动轴两端万向节拨叉角度可明显减小角速度波动,且仿真效果较为显著,如图4所示。
该车型转向系统结构如图5所示,转向器为齿轮齿条式,电动助力随速可变,电子控制单元基于采集的车速信号控制转向盘力,转向盘为三幅式,直径370 mm,总圈数为3.53圈。轮胎规格为155/65 R13,前轴荷约为460 kg。
经测试,该车型的驾驶性主观评价结果为转向力矩波动较为明显,与运动学与弹性运动学(Kinematics & Compliance,K&C)试验报告一致。转向力矩、转向传动比与转向盘转角的关系分别如图6图7所示。
由该车型转向系统CATIA三维数模测得β1β2αψ,依据力矩波动原理,代入相应数据可计算力矩波动。中间轴相位角优化前、后的数据如表3所示,转向盘转角与力矩波动情况如图8所示。
比较曲线的最大值与最小值,可计算出该车型中间轴相位角优化前、后的力矩波动比分别为21.77%和3.03%,优化后力矩波动比降低了约18.74百分点,此时α+ψ≈0,已经是最优解。
根据仿真数据进行样件改制并装车验证,中间轴新、旧样件对比如图9所示[9]
首先确保样车轮胎气压在要求范围内,然后断开转向助力系统的保险丝,用转向盘测试仪测量车辆原地转向时的力矩,实车测试如图10所示。
测试过程如下:同一位测试者左右均匀地原地将转向盘转至1/4圈、1/2圈、1圈、极限位置[10],分别记录转向过程中的最大力矩,每项测试重复5次取平均值。更换中间轴样件前、后的力矩测试数据如表4所示。
表4可知,更换中间轴样件前,转向盘转1圈转向力矩波动比约为25.43%,更换中间轴样件后,力矩波动比降低至4.90%,改善效果较为明显。同时,中间轴样件更换后主观驾驶评价结果为力矩波动大幅降低,特别是原地转向时,几乎感受不到力矩波动。
此外,理论计算值较实车测试数据更为理想,因为实际测试中包含各部件球头间的摩擦、橡胶部件的变形影响及测试误差,但整体数据趋势吻合[11],验证了仿真数据的正确性。
本文针对某车型的转向系统力矩波动问题,在不改变转向系统安装硬点的情况下,从CATIA三维数模中提取关键硬点坐标,基于ADAMS/View软件建立转向系统仿真简化模型,并通过在软件中调整中间轴两端标记点数值来改变中间轴相位角,最终确定转向系统力矩波动最小时的中间轴相位角。改进相位角的中间轴样件装车后,整车转向力矩测试结果表明,仿真模型的优化数据与理论计算结果基本一致,验证了本文仿真的正确性和有效性。
