In order to analyze the properties of tire effective rolling radius and load radius, the uniform design method was used to test the effective rolling radius and loaded radius under different conditions. The results show that the trend of the rolling radius and load radius affected by speed, air pressure and load is basically the same, but the influence degree is different; the influences of camber angle and side slip angle on effective rolling radius and load radius are different; with the increase of tread wear, rolling radius and load radius decrease. Using the partial least square regression method, the regression equations about effective rolling radius and loaded radius are obtained. It is proved that the regression equations have high accuracy.

为分析轮胎有效滚动半径和负荷半径特性,利用均匀设计方法,对不同条件下的有效滚动半径、负荷半径进行了试验研究,结果表明,滚动半径、负荷半径受速度、气压、载荷影响的趋势基本一致,影响程度不同;外倾角、侧偏角对有效滚动半径和负荷半径的影响规律不同;随着胎面磨损的增加,滚动半径和负荷半径均减小。采用偏最小二乘回归方法获得了有效滚动半径和负荷半径的回归方程,验证结果表明,回归方程精度较高。

In order to analyze the properties of tire effective rolling radius and load radius, the uniform design method was used to test the effective rolling radius and loaded radius under different conditions. The results show that the trend of the rolling radius and load radius affected by speed, air pressure and load is basically the same, but the influence degree is different; the influences of camber angle and side slip angle on effective rolling radius and load radius are different; with the increase of tread wear, rolling radius and load radius decrease. Using the partial least square regression method, the regression equations about effective rolling radius and loaded radius are obtained. It is proved that the regression equations have high accuracy.

轮胎有效滚动半径(简称滚动半径)和负荷半径是轮胎的2个重要基本参数,在轮胎模型研究、轮胎性能试验、整车性能仿真、车辆设计和车辆控制系统开发中有着广泛应用。部分间接式胎压监测系统基于滚动半径进行监测,其原理是轮胎的气压变化影响轮胎滚动半径的大小,进而影响轮速,通过分析轮速信号即可反映滚动半径的变化,完成对轮胎气压的监测[1]
目前对滚动半径和负荷半径的研究一般只考虑载荷、速度、气压的影响,侧偏角和外倾角的影响考虑较少。MF-Tyre模型中给出了滚动半径的经验公式[2],但试验量要求较大[3]
为完善对滚动半径和负荷半径变化规律的认识,减少试验工作量,本文从试验和回归模型2个方面对滚动半径和负荷半径进行研究,采用均匀试验设计方法设计试验方案,借助偏最小二乘回归方法建立回归模型。
当自变量间存在严重多重相关性时,普通最小二乘法失效,采用此方法计算时会破坏参数估计,扩大模型误差,并使模型丧失稳健性。为解决此问题,有学者提出了偏最小二乘回归方法。偏最小二乘回归能够在自变量存在严重多重相关性的情况下进行回归建模,并允许在样本点数量少于自变量数量的情况下进行回归建模[4]
MATLAB软件提供了偏最小二乘回归函数Plsregress,偏最小二乘回归的应用步骤为:
a. 对数据进行标准化处理。
b. 使用MATLAB函数Plsregress进行偏最小二乘回归。
c. 对回归模型的参数进行检验,检验方法可采用Bootstrap法[4]。如有未通过检验的自变量,将其删除,重复步骤b。
d. 将关于标准化变量的回归模型转化为关于原始变量的回归模型。
影响轮胎半径的因素很多,如轮胎的载荷、气压、速度、外倾角、侧偏角、路面曲率、所用轮辋规格等。本文暂不考虑后2种因素的影响,在MTS Flat-Trac CT Ⅲ高速平带试验台上进行试验,使用的轮胎规格为205/55 R16。
通常,研究人员最关心轮胎的载荷、气压、速度对半径的影响,此时不考虑侧向力和纵向力的影响。
为减少试验次数,部分因子设计是常用的方法,其中正交试验设计和均匀试验设计应用最为广泛。
对于大部分试验,特别是探索性试验,试验人员对试验的统计模型往往所知甚少,需要通过试验获得近似模型,需采用均匀试验设计(简称均匀设计)方法进行试验设计。
正交设计假定模型的形式已知,需要通过试验来估计模型中的未知参数,且试验的次数(强烈依赖于未知参数的数量)随因素数量的增加呈指数增长[5]
根据实际情况采用均匀设计表U25(53)[5],试验设计情况如表1表2所示。
轮胎充气压力采用调压方式,试验过程中充气压力保持不变。
滚动半径测量采用轮胎移动距离与旋转角度计算获得,负荷半径为轮轴中心到接地印迹中心的距离。
利用偏最小二乘回归法,得到滚动半径的回归模型为:

式中,rerl分别为滚动半径和负荷半径;v为速度;p为气压;Fz为载荷。
图1所示为三因素回归模型的残差统计结果。由图1可知,滚动半径和负荷半径的残差均很小,最大绝对值分别为0.21 mm和0.52 mm,误差平方和分别为0.30 mm2和1.72 mm2,所得回归模型的精度较高。
在MF-Tyre 6.2模型中,没有显式的负荷半径公式,提供了如下滚动半径公式[2]

式中,Cz0为名义载荷和名义气压下的垂直刚度;Fz0为名义载荷;R0为自由半径;RΩ为离心力作用下的自由半径;Cz为垂直刚度;dpi为气压无量纲增量;qFz1qFz2分别为载荷与变形的一阶系数、二阶系数;pFz1为垂直刚度的气压影响系数;Dreff为滚动半径的峰值系数;BreffFreff分别为滚动半径的低刚度系数、高刚度系数。
根据试验数据对MF-Tyre模型进行参数辨识,得到参数为pFz1=0.85、qFz1=10.57、qFz2=9.82、Dreff=0.23、Breff=4.67、Freff=0.026。图2所示为MF-Tyre模型的滚动半径残差结果。由图2可知,残差最大绝对值为1.05 mm,误差平方和为5.98 mm2,所得模型的精度较回归模型的精度低。
为分析载荷、气压、速度对半径的影响,采用上述回归模型进行模拟,结果如图3所示。
由模拟结果可知:滚动半径、负荷半径随速度提高而增大,随气压提高而增大,随载荷增加而减小;滚动半径对速度、气压、载荷不敏感,负荷半径对速度、气压不敏感,对载荷敏感。如:在速度为80 km/h、载荷为4 821.6 N的条件下,气压从170 kPa增加到290 kPa,滚动半径仅增加2.23 mm,负荷半径却增加了8.95 mm;在速度为80 km/h、气压为230 kPa的条件下,载荷从2 410.8 N增加到7 232.4 N,滚动半径仅减小2.23 mm,负荷半径却减小20.54 mm。
由式(2)和图3可知,负荷半径与速度、载荷成线性,与气压近似成线性。
为分析外倾角对滚动半径和负荷半径的影响,进行试验研究。试验载荷分别为2 410.8 N、4 821.6 N、7 232.4 N;气压为230 kPa;速度为80 km/h;侧偏角为0°;外倾角分别为-10°、-6°、-4°、-2°、-1°、0°、1°、2°、4°、6°、10°。试验结果如图4所示。
图4可知:外倾角的存在使得滚动半径减小、负荷半径增大;随着外倾角绝对值的增加,滚动半径逐渐减小、负荷半径逐渐增大,正、负外倾角的影响基本相等;随着载荷的增加,外倾角对滚动半径和负荷半径的影响变小。本文所得结果与文献[6]所述趋势基本一致,但该文献只给出了单一载荷条件下负荷半径曲线,未给出滚动半径曲线。
为分析侧偏角对滚动半径和负荷半径的影响,进行试验研究。试验载荷分别为2 410.8 N、4 821.6 N、7 232.4 N;气压为230 kPa;速度为80 km/h;侧偏角分别为-10°、-6°、-2°、0°、2°、6°、10°;外倾角为0°。试验结果如图5所示。
图5可知:侧偏角的存在使得滚动半径增大、负荷半径减小;随着侧偏角绝对值的增加,滚动半径增大、负荷半径减小,正、负侧偏角的影响基本相等;随着载荷的增加,侧偏角对负荷半径的影响变大。所得结果与文献[6]所述趋势基本一致,但该文献只给出了滚动半径曲线,未给出负荷半径曲线。
为观察胎面磨损对半径的影响大小,进行如下试验:试验1,测试0°侧偏角下的滚动半径和负荷半径;试验2,进行不同载荷、侧偏角不为0°的试验;试验3,重复试验1。由试验1、试验3测得半径的减少量,如表3所示。
表3可知:随着胎面磨损的增加,滚动半径和负荷半径均减小,磨损对滚动半径影响小,滚动半径的减小量小于磨损量;磨损对负荷半径影响更大;磨损量不等于半径的减少量。为减少干扰因素,提高试验精度,在进行侧偏角不为0°的试验时,要尽量减小轮胎磨损。
四因素包括载荷、气压、速度、外倾角,试验中侧偏角为0°。为全面分析四因素的影响,选用均匀设计表U25(54)[5]进行试验设计,试验设计情况如表4表5所示。
利用偏最小二乘回归法,得到关于滚动半径的回归模型为:

同样可得负荷半径回归模型为:

式中,γ为外倾角。
图6所示为四因素回归模型的残差。由图6可知,滚动半径和负荷半径的残差均较小,最大绝对值分别为0.47 mm和0.44 mm,误差平方和分别为0.62 mm2和0.90 mm2,所得回归模型的精度较高。
为验证回归模型的预测能力,利用式(6)、(7),对3.2节中的试验进行仿真,并与试验结果进行对比,如图7所示。由图7c可知:二者差别较小,除了2个点外,残差绝对值均小于0.5 mm;滚动半径和负荷半径残差的最大绝对值分别为0.94 mm和1.25 mm(均发生在载荷为2 410.8N、外倾角为±10°处)。此处残差大的原因包括:外倾角超出试验范围,计算属于外推;小载荷时滚动半径变化剧烈,是建模的难点。所得回归模型在小载荷条件下预测误差稍大,总体预测能力较强。
通过以上研究,得出以下结论:
a. 本文采用均匀设计方法设计了试验方案,减少了试验次数;采用偏最小二乘回归方法得到的回归模型精度较高,在不考虑侧向力和纵向力影响的工况下,精度要高于MF-Tyre模型,预测能力较强,较好地描述了各因素与滚动半径(负荷半径)的关系。
b. 滚动半径、负荷半径受速度、气压、载荷影响的趋势基本一致,影响程度不同,负荷半径与速度、载荷成线性相关。
c. 外倾角和侧偏角对滚动半径、负荷半径的影响不同。外倾角的存在使得滚动半径减小、负荷半径增大;侧偏角的存在使得滚动半径增大、负荷半径减小。
d. 随着胎面磨损的增加,滚动半径和负荷半径均减小,磨损对滚动半径影响小,对负荷半径影响更大;磨损量不等于半径的减少量。
