To obtain engine braking power accurately, this paper proposed a method of engine braking road test based on the momentum conservation law. A vehicle braking power equation based on speed and gear was built to provide a warning of downhill shifts and AT gear selection. Braking power test result obtained with the proposed test method was compared with dynamometer test result, with a difference range of -2.7%~3.4%, demonstrating accuracy and effectiveness of this method.

为准确获得发动机制动功率,基于动量守恒定律提出了一种发动机制动道路测试方法。构建了基于车速和挡位的整车制动功率方程,可实现下坡工况手动挡变速器换挡提醒和自动变速器挡位选择,将所提出的测试方法制动功率测试结果与转鼓测试结果进行对比,结果表面,二者差值范围为-2.7%~3.4%,体现了该方法的准确性及有效性。

To obtain engine braking power accurately, this paper proposed a method of engine braking road test based on the momentum conservation law. A vehicle braking power equation based on speed and gear was built to provide a warning of downhill shifts and AT gear selection. Braking power test result obtained with the proposed test method was compared with dynamometer test result, with a difference range of -2.7%~3.4%, demonstrating accuracy and effectiveness of this method.

中重型载货汽车在山区等长距离下坡路况行驶时,频繁制动会导致制动鼓温度升高,制动性能迅速降低,严重时会出现制动失效的情况[1-4]。尽管为制动鼓淋水可以降低制动性能的衰减,但在冬季行驶时会影响后车的行车安全[5-8]。因此,相应的持续制动装置应运而生,主要包括发动机辅助制动和缓行器制动,以避免行车制动系统出现热衰退现象[9-12]。发动机辅助制动因其成本低、工作可靠、长时间全负荷制动的特点,已成为应用最广泛的持续制动装置[13-15]
发动机制动功率直接影响山区等工况条件下的行车安全性,准确的发动机制动功率信息可以为手动变速器车辆提醒用户选择合适的挡位,以及自动变速器车辆选择最佳下坡挡位提供依据,因此,制动功率的准确测量至关重要。目前,发动机制动功率通常利用底盘测功机测试获得,但对资源及测试能力等具有一定要求。因此,本文提出一种基于动量守恒定律的发动机辅助制动功率道路测试方法,并通过与转鼓测试结果进行对比,验证道路测试的精度。
整车在滑行过程中遵守动量守恒定律,即发动机发出的制动功率等于整车减速滑行功率,由此可计算获得发动机制动功率:
$P=\frac{mav}{3.6\times 1 000}=\frac{mv∆v}{3.6\times 3.6\times 500∆T}$
式中,P为道路等速功率;m为整车试验总质量;a为整车加速度;v为车速;∆v为与车速v的速度偏差,建议取∆v=2.5 km/h;∆T为车速从v+∆v减速到v-∆v滑行时间的平均值。
测试流程为:
a. 滑行初始车速选择。根据道路条件,在确保安全的情况下,合理选择最大车速vmax
b. 挡位选择。选择车速vmax对应发动机额定转速的挡位GN
c. 滑行结束车速选择。发动机最低制动转速在挡位GN对应的车速vmin
d. 将车速迅速提高到vmax,变速器置于空挡,松开离合器,车辆开始滑行,滑行至车速vmin。双向往返测试,至少往返3次。
e. 将车速迅速提高到vmax,变速器置于GN挡,松开离合器,车辆开始滑行,滑行至车速vmin。双向往返测试,至少往返3次。
f. 将车速迅速提高到vmax,变速器置于GN挡,打开发动机辅助制动,松开油门,车辆开始滑行,滑行至车速vmin。双向往返测试,至少往返3次。
测试结束后,计算得到不同车速下的整车运行功率Pv、发动机摩擦功率PE和发动机辅助制动功率PB

式中,ηE、ηB分别为未开启发动机制动和开启发动机制动时的传动系统效率,动力总成某挡位下的传动效率可根据转速和扭矩查表获得;∆Tv、∆TE、∆TB分别为空挡滑行、带挡滑行、带挡且开启发动机辅助制动滑行时,车速从v+∆v减速到v-∆v滑行时间的平均值。
整车运行功率与车速相关,发动机摩擦功率和发动机辅助制动功率与转速相关,由此建立基于车速和挡位的各功率方程:

式中,fv为根据试验测得的整车运行功率Pv与车速v的拟合方程;fE为根据试验测得的发动机摩擦功率PE与发动机转速n的拟合方程;fB为根据试验测得的发动机辅助制动功率PB与发动机转速n的拟合方程;ig为变速器挡位速比;i0为驱动桥速比;r为车轮半径。
建立任意车速和挡位下的发动机制动功率方程为:

任意车速和挡位下的整车制动功率PVEB为:

整车制动力应不小于整车重力沿坡道方向的分力,以实现下坡时不踩制动踏板且车速稳定:

式中,g为重力加速度;α为道路实际坡度,坡高与底长之比。
根据式(7)、式(8)即可计算得到变速器挡位,从而实现下坡工况手动挡变速器车辆的换挡提醒和自动变速器车辆的挡位选择。
测试车辆选取重汽豪沃6×4牵引车,配备12挡手动变速器,满载质量49 000 kg,整车配置如表1所示。在实际道路测得整车滑行阻力系数如表2所示,可计算得到滑行阻力为:

式中,F0为常数项;F1为一次项;F2为二次项。
按照上述步骤,选取滑行车速区间为73~30 km/h,挡位采用10挡,分别进行空挡滑行测试、10挡带挡滑行测试和10挡带挡且开启辅助制动滑行测试,根据式(2)计算不同车速下的整车运行功率、发动机摩擦功率和发动机辅助制动功率,结果如图1所示。
在底盘测功机上按照表2所示的滑行阻力系数设置参数,热车并滑行。分别倒拖测试空挡滑行功率和10挡带挡且开启辅助制动功率,两者差值为发动机制动功率,与道路测试的发动机制动功率对比结果如图2所示,各转速条件下两者差值在-2.7%~3.4%范围内。
本文基于动量守恒定律提出了一种发动机制动功率的道路测试方法,构建了基于车速和挡位的整车制动功率方程,可实现下坡工况手动变速器换挡提醒和自动变速器挡位选择,有利于提升山区等长距离下坡工况车辆运行安全性。利用转鼓台架试验对本文提出的实车道路试验方法进行验证,2种方法测试结果差值在-2.7%~3.4%范围内,说明本文方法满足测试精度的需求。
