In order to enhance the testing and evaluation of systematicness and comprehensiveness of Moving Off Information System (MOIS) for commercial vehicles, the paper analyzes the evaluation requirements of commercial vehicle MOIS, clarifies the working principle of MOIS, and proposes specific testing and evaluation plans and improvement measures. Commercial vehicles with the same MOIS perception and recognition scheme but different sizes are used as test samples, the alarm triggering and ending timing, alarm duration, etc. of MOIS are evaluated and analyzed for different target objects, blind spot positions, and bias rates. The results show that the same scheme of MOIS installed on commercial vehicles of different sizes can meet regulatory requirements, and the monitoring effect of the system on the forward blind spot shows a trend of right side>left side>middle. Moreover, when the vehicle moves together with the longitudinal target object in front, the larger vehicle has better blind spot monitoring effect.

为提升商用车移动信息系统(MOIS)测试评价的系统性与全面性,通过对商用车MOIS的测评需求进行分析,梳理了其工作原理,并提出具体的测试评价方案和改进措施,以采用相同MOIS感知识别方案、不同尺寸的商用车为测试样车,在不同目标物、盲区位置及偏置率条件下对MOIS的报警触发及结束时机、报警持续距离等进行了测评分析,结果表明:在不同尺寸的商用车上搭载相同方案的MOIS,均能满足法规要求,系统对前向盲区的监测效果呈现右侧>左侧>中间的趋势,且当车辆与前方纵向目标物一起移动时,尺寸较大的车辆盲区监测效果更好。

为提升商用车移动信息系统(MOIS)测试评价的系统性与全面性,通过对商用车MOIS的测评需求进行分析,梳理了其工作原理,并提出具体的测试评价方案和改进措施,以采用相同MOIS感知识别方案、不同尺寸的商用车为测试样车,在不同目标物、盲区位置及偏置率条件下对MOIS的报警触发及结束时机、报警持续距离等进行了测评分析,结果表明:在不同尺寸的商用车上搭载相同方案的MOIS,均能满足法规要求,系统对前向盲区的监测效果呈现右侧>左侧>中间的趋势,且当车辆与前方纵向目标物一起移动时,尺寸较大的车辆盲区监测效果更好。

In order to enhance the testing and evaluation of systematicness and comprehensiveness of Moving Off Information System (MOIS) for commercial vehicles, the paper analyzes the evaluation requirements of commercial vehicle MOIS, clarifies the working principle of MOIS, and proposes specific testing and evaluation plans and improvement measures. Commercial vehicles with the same MOIS perception and recognition scheme but different sizes are used as test samples, the alarm triggering and ending timing, alarm duration, etc. of MOIS are evaluated and analyzed for different target objects, blind spot positions, and bias rates. The results show that the same scheme of MOIS installed on commercial vehicles of different sizes can meet regulatory requirements, and the monitoring effect of the system on the forward blind spot shows a trend of right side>left side>middle. Moreover, when the vehicle moves together with the longitudinal target object in front, the larger vehicle has better blind spot monitoring effect.

据统计,约35%的商用车事故与视觉盲区有关[1]。商用车移动信息系统(Moving Off Information System,MOIS)是商用车盲区监测系统之一,合格的MOIS能够及时检测到车辆前方近距离盲区范围内的行人和骑行者,并在检测到潜在碰撞风险时向驾驶员提供视觉和/或听觉警告,帮助减少或避免交通事故的发生,提高道路交通安全性。
目前,在商用车移动信息系统的研发与测评方面,已有相关理论研究和实践案例。在标准法规解读方面:文献[2]和文献[3]对UN R151中关于机动车的自行车盲区监测系统认证作了解读,分析了商用车侧向盲区的相关规定和认证要求,但商用车的前向盲区在盲区监测系统中同样重要;文献[4]介绍了目前商用车盲区监测系统的主流标准和法规,并将UN R159与GB/T 39265—2020、UN R151进行了对比研究,为商用车盲区监测相关标准体系的建立提供了理论参考,但在实际测试评价方面未作说明。在系统研发设计方面,文献[5]分别从商用车盲区监测系统的设计开发、监测实现以及行人检测等方面开展了研究,在盲区信息分析、毫米波雷达测距方面和行人目标物识别等特定场景下具有一定的参考价值,但系统的盲区覆盖率较小,监测设备和技术还有待更新,目标物及场景也不够全面。文献[6]对商用车盲区监测系统的算法和预警感知模式进行了较为系统的分析,为产品更新升级提供了技术参考。在测试评价方面,文献[7]、文献[8]针对车辆自动紧急制动(Autonomous Emergency Braking,AEB)系统提供了具体的测试方法及指标评价分析,并在不同光照和偏置率的碰撞场景下对车辆AEB系统进行了测试和评价。MOIS是监测和预警类系统,区别于AEB系统的预警及制动,测试方法上仍存在较大区别。
商用车MOIS需要适应新的技术趋势,在与其他高级驾驶辅助系统(Advanced Driving Assistance System,ADAS)功能集成,以满足盲区监测需求的同时,通过优化升级为交通拥堵辅助自动驾驶(Traffic Jam Pilot,TJP)等功能,为实现更高层次的智能驾驶辅助提供研发和测试基础[9]。此外,商用车进入海外市场时,必须遵守目标国家或地区的法规标准,并满足当地的产品准入要求。
然而,MOIS测评还存在许多难点:首先是需要空旷且平整度很高的专业测试场地,专业的测试设备和重复性标定试验也导致了更高的测试成本;其次是测试方法和评价体系不健全,缺乏统一的行业标准,导致不同测试机构和制造商之间的测试结果难以直接比较[10]。此外,现有的测试方案可能无法完全覆盖迭代功能的要求。
因此,本文从商用车移动信息系统及其工作原理、测评方法、测评案例结果分析等方面,对商用车MOIS测评体系进行补充和完善。
常规测试条件要求路面平整且干燥,环境温度需控制在0~45 ℃,风速应不影响设备性能,光照强度至少1 000 lx,同时,车辆载荷应根据制造商数据设定,且在测试期间不得更改。MOIS的灵敏度应设置为最低,此外,制造商需提供文件证明MOIS在任何载荷条件下均能稳定运行并完成故障和信号验证试验。
根据UN R159的要求,MOIS的认证测试场景应该包括静态穿行测试、车辆静止时自行车纵向移动测试以及车辆和自行车同时纵向移动测试3种场景,且UN R159定义了明确的测试方法,包括对区域范围的要求,以及对移动速度的要求等,MOIS功能须满足测试要求。
测试车辆在静止状态下挂前进挡,弱势交通参与者(Vulnerable Road User,VRU)垂直于测试车辆纵向中心平面移动,在距离测试车辆近端/远端分离面15 m前达到目标速度3~5 km/h,然后匀速穿行到对侧5 m外。
要求VRU在到达最晚信息触发点(VRU行驶轨迹与近端/远端分离面交点)前启动MOIS信号,并在最大和最小前向分离面以及近端和远端分离面所包围的区域内,该信息信号一直保持,不启动碰撞警告信号,参数设置如图1所示。根据R159的要求,图中样车为右舵商用车,本文测试样车均为左舵车辆,静态穿行测试时近端分离面位于驾驶员侧,即样车左侧。
车辆进入停车通道前加速到指定速度,然后减速使车头处于停车平面处,如图2所示,此时车辆不再处于前进挡位。图2中,dclear为可变距离,以确保车辆与目标物的距离不少于100 mm,dLPI为最晚信息触发点与停车平面的距离,dFSP为车辆最大前向分离面与停车平面的距离,d50%为车辆宽度的1/2。VRU起初在Pcyc位置静止,测试车辆就位后,VRU开始在5 m内由静止直线加速到9.5~10.0 km/h,然后减速,横向偏差不应超过±0.05 m。
要求MOIS信号在车辆到达最晚信息触发点前被激活,且信号一直保持到VRU至少越过最大前向分离面,碰撞警告信号可根据情况启动。
车辆进入停车通道前加速到指定速度,然后减速使车头处于停车平面处,待测试车辆停车后,经过不少于10 s的延迟,测试车辆和VRU同时在5 m内从静止加速到9.5~10.0 km/h,然后保持匀速行驶(车辆前部与和VRU尾部之间的距离始终保持在100~110 mm),直到车辆从停车平面处开始的行驶距离不少于15 m。
要求车辆到达最晚信息触发点前激活MOIS信号,且在试验过程中一直保持,过程中若满足碰撞预警信号触发阈值,则可发出碰撞预警信号。
本文选取2款来自同一制造商的城市客车,分别为样车A1(整车外廓尺寸为6 970 mm×2 110 mm×2 890 mm)、样车A2(整车外廓尺寸为11 970mm×2 550 mm×3 635 mm),如图3所示。2款样车所装备的MOIS均采用摄像头+毫米波雷达信息融合感知方案,系统感知传感器安装位置(基于自车)相同,摄像头均安装于前风窗玻璃中间顶部位置、毫米波雷达均位于前进气格栅中部。
本文选取标准成人自行车、成人假人及儿童假人3种目标物,如图4所示,针对纵向及前向2个移动盲区,在静止及移动等多个场景下对2款商用车移动信息系统进行综合性能测试。
目前,商用车在城市公共道路上通行时,与其混行的弱势交通参与者是骑自行车或电动车的成人,而步行的成人或者儿童与商用车交汇的场景多为城市斑马线上的横向穿行场景。因此,本文在布局测试场景时,当目标物为骑行者时,测试场景包括前向静态横穿、车辆静止时自行车纵向移动、车辆与自行车同时纵向移动;当目标物为成人假人及儿童假人时,测试场景为前向静态横穿。详细测试场景及测试矩阵如表1所示。
在移动信息系统关键测试设备中,负责控制车辆转向盘、油门踏板及制动踏板操作的设备为转向控制机器人和制动油门组合控制机器人。转向控制机器人能实现测试车辆行驶路径的精准控制,保证测试车辆按设定的偏置率进行试验;制动油门组合控制机器人能保证测试车辆速度的稳定,避免传统人工驾驶带来的重复性差的问题,保证测试结果的一致性。此外,测试过程中IMC声光数据采集系统负责采集声光信号并处理成数字信号。将上述设备集成于控制箱统一进行数据采集、分析并发送指令。关键测试设备如图5所示。
根据表1所述的测试矩阵要求,在白天天气状态良好、满足照度及温湿度等试验要求的环境下,基于3种不同的目标物(儿童、成人、自行车),依次进行2个不同方向(远端、近端)的对比测试,如图6所示。
测试结果数据由两车通信系统采集的相对横向距离(Relative Lateral Distance)及IMC声光数据采集系统采集的报警光信号组成,报警光信号由0跳变至1时刻的相对横向距离即为报警触发距离。
以远端自行车穿行测试结果为例,机器人控制器(Robot Controller,RC)显示测试车辆A1、A2的报警触发距离分别为0.93 m、0.81 m,如图7所示。
图7可知,两款测试车辆的移动信息系统均能在VRU到达最晚信息触发点(dLPI=0.5 m)前发出报警信号,且报警能够持续到车辆穿过对向分离面,符合法规要求。各测试用例3次测试的报警触发距离平均值如图8所示。
图8可知,对于两款商用车前向盲区,儿童和成人穿行时触发移动信息系统报警的距离差距较小,但自行车穿行时触发报警距离均明显更短,表明此系统对自行车的监测效果不如成人及儿童。
通常,自行车相较于行人,尤其是儿童,具有目标体积高大的优势,易于识别。然而,为了更贴近实际交通场景,测试场景中自行车的穿行速度明显高于行人,在系统感知识别算法策略和响应时间相同的条件下,速度高的自行车会穿行更长的距离。因此,自行车穿行时报警触发距离更短。
根据测试矩阵,在静态横向穿行测试中,目标分别从2个不同位置盲区(近端、远端)穿行,其中近端为驾驶员侧,远端为乘员侧。由图8可知,以目标物为儿童为例,车辆近端盲区反馈明显优于远端,表明此系统在开发过程中,考虑到车辆靠右侧行驶,意味着驾驶员在观察和操作时,会更频繁地关注左侧的交通情况。因此,优先监测驾驶员侧的盲区有助于适应驾驶员的驾驶习惯,提高监测的实用性和有效性。
根据表1所述的测试矩阵要求,基于3个不同的盲区位置(左侧、中间、右侧),依次进行2个不同分离面(近侧、远侧)的对比测试。
测试结果数据由相对纵向距离及报警光信号组成,光信号开始及结束时的相对纵向距离即为报警触发距离与报警结束距离,两者差值为报警持续距离,具体结果如图9所示。两款测试车辆的移动信息系统均能在车辆到达最晚信息触发点对应的停车平面前激活信号,且能持续到自行车至少越过车辆最大前向分离面,符合法规要求。测试结果平均值汇总如图10所示,报警持续距离对比如图11所示。
车辆静止时自行车纵向移动测试结果表明,相较于中间盲区,左、右两侧盲区的报警触发时机更早,报警持续距离也更长,感知识别及监测效果也更好。同时,测试结果表明,车辆静止时,对于前向纵向移动的目标物,即使车辆尺寸相差较大,盲区识别与监测效果也基本不受影响。
根据对评价指标及结果的分析,样车均出现中间盲区结果劣于两侧的情况,而且在本次试验中,中间盲区的测试结果数据趋近临界值。虽然满足法规要求,但是中间盲区仍然应该作为系统开发标定时首要保障的区域,同时,由于驾驶员侧盲区距离驾驶员较近,VRU穿越盲区的时间较短,而中间及乘员侧盲区距离驾驶员较远且盲区时间较长,建议对现有测评通过要求进行细化,通过提高乘员侧及中间盲区的指标要求,使中间及乘员侧盲区遇到行人及自行车时能够更早地提醒驾驶员作出反应,进一步减少交通事故的发生。
与3.2节类似,纵向同时移动测试中各测试用例3次测试结果的平均值汇总如图12所示,两辆样车报警持续距离对比情况如图13所示。
测试结果表明,两款测试车辆的移动信息系统均能在车辆到达最晚信息触发点对应的停车平面前激活信号,且该信息一直存在,直到车辆通过停车平面前方15 m处,符合法规要求。
图13可知,对于商用车前向盲区纵向动态测试,左、右两侧盲区的系统监测效果优于中间盲区,且右侧盲区监测效果优于左侧盲区,与实际驾驶过程中驾驶员视野范围大小(中间>左侧>右侧)呈现关联性,也与系统监测算法和控制策略对盲区保障的优先顺序相吻合。
同时,结果中车辆A2的报警触发距离均优于车辆A1,表明采用相同的商用车移动信息系统条件下,当车辆与前方纵向目标物共同移动时,尺寸较大的车辆因其雷达与摄像头位置更高、探测范围更广等原因,盲区识别与监测效果更好。基于此,整车制造商及系统供应商在为商用车提供MOIS解决方案时,应将车辆的尺寸作为考量的因素之一,尤其是针对超长但高度未同步增加的车型,更应注重传感器的匹配和安装位置,在优化识别算法的同时,必要时可适当增加传感器的数量,以达到更好的盲区监测效果。
本文通过对商用车移动信息系统测评需求及难点等进行分析,总结了其工作原理、测试设备及测试评价方法,提出以移动信息系统对不同位置、不同目标物的报警触发及结束时机、报警持续距离等作为评价指标,得出以下结论:
a. 在移动信息系统硬件、感知识别策略算法、现场试验条件均相同的情况下,其搭载在不同尺寸的商用车上,均可满足法规要求;
b. 系统监测反馈效果整体呈现右侧>左侧>中间的趋势,而且当车辆与前方纵向目标物共同移动时,尺寸较大的车辆盲区识别与监测效果更好。
本文试验车辆搭载的MOIS方案相同,且测试用例只考虑到了白天光照条件较好的测试场景,为了更好地体现测试对MOIS性能考核的全面性,后续可对多车型进行测试评价,形成MOIS性能测评库,并在测试用例中增加黄昏及夜晚的相关场景。MOIS的测试方案和评价体系尚未完全成熟,缺乏统一的行业标准和规范,尤其是在具体测试方法、评价指标和测试流程方面可能存在差异,导致不同测试机构和制造商之间的测试结果难以直接比较,后续可通过制定相关行业及团体标准进行完善。
